"I think we should stay the fuck inside," Henna stated calmly. "There's not much the two of us can do to stop that beast. Better leave it to the heroes."
Something suddenly tugged at the trollkins conscience. Frightened though she was, she really wanted to see what was going on. It wasn't everyday you got to see a fight with a dragon. And she could watch it, from the safety of her room even. All she had to do was use the wizards glass. Do it, she heard a voice in her head whisper, sweet as honey. Do it, you know you want to. There was no denying that she did, the need to peer into the mystical mist of the glass suddenly feeling like a craving more than an idea. Come ooon, it purred, Just a little bit. She felt her hand creep closer to the skin she kept it in, slowly but steadily. Just... a little... bit...
"Just a little bit" she whispered to herself, and began untying the pouch from her belt.
She realized the elf was still there, looking at her. She would see Hennas treasure, but it couldn't be helped, she had to use it now. She could feel her hands getting sweaty with anticipation. She pointed a finger at the elf and beckoned for her to come closer.
"Wanna see something special?" she said, her voice a mere whisper, "You'll like this, but you can't tell nobody. Come see!"
And with that, she unwrapped the skin and presented the orb on the floor. She whispered the secret words, and light suddenly radiated from the glass, illuminating Hennas face with a pale sheen. Inside it, a monstrous creature could be seen shrieking its rage over the rooftops of the city.
