My hero Acadamia: the story of class 101

Appearance: A ray of sunshine is tantamount to Meruem's appearance and overjoyed spirit. Physically he stands slightly beneath other males of his age-group, straddling the line between 5'8" and 5'9". Not that his height matters in the slightest, even a giant would have a hard time convincing him to back down from a goal. Normally he holds a perpetual glint in his large lapis-hued eyes, simultaneously daring and cheering on those that look into them. Brown, stylized hair makes it easy to point him out in a crowd--along with his atypical manner of wearing a orange headband, its perhaps his most notable feature.

Personality: More than a tad loud, energetic, and overly-confident, Meruem has been compared to the typical shounen-type character. It can be embarrassing for him, showcasing the effortless manner in which a tinge of red can paint his face. Despite this, he usually goes along with any setbacks, meeting them with a wide smile. In the not too far-off past he use to be very timid; always crying and filled with paranoia of those around him. Nowadays he finds that unappealing habit of crying still hard to throwaway. Though it happens less often.

Because of his past, he rarely devalues anyone for the faults they may have. They could be the worst scoundrels and he'd simply remind them they still had plenty of time to change. Along with this comes the obvious negative reflection of being too forgiving. He believes as a hero, his place is only to inspire hope and bravery, never fear or trepidation. Because of "certain events" he places a large weight on his shoulders, aspiring to become the next Symbol of Peace.

Quirk: IM Gravity (IM 重力) - Meruem is capable of imposing his will onto gravity. Being a fifth generation quirk-user, through a predetermined cocktail, he's been given a monstrous power. He's capable of manipulating the gravity within his sights. This includes the ability to push, pull, levitate, and crush. For some reason when utilizing his quirk, his eyes loses all color, bending into the iris as if it was a black-hole. He has a 10 minute limitation for using his abilities before having to recover for a minimum of 10 more minutes. Without adequate rest, each usage after the first reduces the time-limit by 2 minutes and increases the recovery time by 2 minutes as well.

Reason: Meruem couldn't remember where or when he had, but once before he heard someone say, “Anyone who has a continuous smile on his face conceals a toughness that is almost frightening.” That rung true for him, it resonated soundly and surely in his heart. When he was a tyke the other kids condemned him for his lack of control. His quirk, which controlled gravity was a nuisance to them. For awhile he was forced to be homeschool, all the while thinking himself a monster. He withdrew into himself, resenting his parents, his quirk, and who he was. That was until Urvaity and, for reasons, Lemillion had appeared at his home. Invited by his parents supposedly. Urvaity displayed the positivity behind Gravity in typical airy manner, how it could be used to save and inspire. Lemillion imbued him with a spectacular heroic spirit with powerful lecture. Since then, he's aimed to be the next Symbol of Peace and has through trial and error, perseverance and boldness, conquered his past.

Skills: Meruem is a firm believer that resolve and bravery can conqueror any hurdle. He has unfathomable amounts of both but the skill to rely on his instincts, almost animal-like, tends to be where his combative prowess comes from. Due to the hurdle his quirk presents to him at midnight, to prevent from relying on it too much, he's trained his body tirelessly, producing an heroic frame. While not proficient in any kind of martial arts, he is quite the scrapper.

I know I haven't made my presence known at all. But I've invested my time into creating this character. Hopefully you like him.

Are you rejecting it because I'm using One for All as an ability or because you just don't like the fact that I've manipulated the possibility that all potential universes are connected and he's traveled from an AU My Hero Academia one?

Personality:: Bevren Armaros is a rare example of what happens when humanity is backed into a dank corner. A being brimming with a concoction of exuberant hope, calm justice, and blessed favor. He, in other words, embodies what it means to be a hero. While not the most talkative of people, he gives off an aura of acceptance and understanding, often providing a wide berth for others to showcase themselves. While harboring a disdain for all things evil, he often approaches situations with a open mind, merciful eyes, and clear goal of rescue. In fact, it's often been said that his need to save others has contributed to most of his blunders and losses.

History:: When Bevren was a kid, he had admirations to be like his father. A powerful wizard and hero through and through. However, all those dreams died along with the man during a rather vicious epidemic. A sickness had spread throughout the countryside of Fiore, dousing the inhabitants with blistering sores, ulcers, and fever. His mother, who fair far better than Bevren, risked the wilds to search for help. When she had not return, his father, so deeply in love and enamored with his other half, took the ailed Bevren in his arms and left to search for her.

Nothing came of the search. His father died against a moss-covered tree, whispering hope into Bevren's ear. Eventually, on the precipice of death, he was saved by his mother. The woman, who was healed, weeped for her husband and yet still took Bevren even further into the forest. Through blurry vision and a failing mind, Bevren grasped that she was en-route to return. She spent several weeks under the tutelage of a Dragon.

Years passed and Bevren and his mother made a home with the Dragon. She cured most of the diseased villages, earning her the moniker "Healing Angel". Overtime, Bevren learned Dragon Slayer Magic, was taught how to be noble and heroic, and discovered the great expense of Fiore on the back of a Dragon. He found a home in the guild: Harpy's Wing and many friends too. He's garnered the title of Hero through his often heart-fueled actions.

Known Spells:: Fire Dragon's: Roar (signature move) - Bevren clasps his hands around his mouth and spews out flames fundamentally hotter, stronger, and durable than ordinary fire. This spell is exceptionally powerful against the elements of ice, flora, and metal. It however holds a weakness against water, earth (to an extent), and advanced wind or vacuum spells.

Fire Dragon's: Cleaving Claw - Bevren imbues his Fire Dragon Slayer Magic over his hands, creating metal-melting claws, super-heated gloves, and occasionally smoldering forks for eating with. This spell is exceptionally powerful against the elements of ice, flora, and metal. It however holds a weakness against water, earth (to an extent), and advanced wind or vacuum spells.

Fire Dragon's: Guarding Wings - Bevren molds his Fire Dragon Slayer Magic into wings, sprouting them out his back and folding them around himself for protection. He lengthen this wings to a max of twenty feet and with its searing heat evaporate water, smelt rock, and shatter ice. This spell is exceptionally powerful against the elements of ice, flora, and metal. It however holds a weakness against water, earth (to an extent), and advanced wind or vacuum spells. (If he makes his magic dense, he can use these wings to fly far longer than simply jetting fire from his feet.)

Crimson Lotus: Desperate Eruption - An Advanced Magic spell, Bevren slams his fist into the earth with enough force to break bedrock. He then force his Fire Dragon Slayer Magic through the earth, smelting rocks and creating lava, until finally erupting beneath his opponent. This is just as powerful, physically at least, as small volcano and deals severe damage to anyone caught within its ten meter radius.

• The sound of the wind, warmth of the sun, and nature in general calms his nerves.

Relatives:: Mother: Pirme Armaros (32-Alive) Skilled in the healing arts. Her jobs requires her to be nomadic. Since the death of her husband she's been rather reclusive. She had caramel skin, blonde hair, and pink eyes. Her eyes are sullied with a heavy sadness.

Father: Gane Armaros (26-Deceased) Was a user of a Light Make Magic. He was traveling wizard who work independently and made a name for himself. He died protecting his son and searching for his wife. He believed in the existence of an afterlife and above all else, felt that life was always worth preserving.

Uncle: Sheke Armaros (37-Alive) Is Gane's elder brother. Unlike his brother he never had a talent for magic. He is instead, a scribe, and worked tirelessly to document his brother's accomplishments.

@Member 00492 The confrontation between Sentry and Ton would have to be impressionable. I know losing to Ton would have that effect on him but the circumstances of him and Ton meeting would have to be different. He wouldn't jeopardize his position just to show how ruthless he is but if he was sent to shake up Ton's gang and realized how strong Ton is that way, then yea, he might flip on his crew.

@rocketrobie2 If anyone's been keeping up with My Hero Academia the most recent chapters could helpb with something like this.

The Old Nueva Gang cooperates with Ton's and sends an operative (Sentry) to help with.... idk something. That could fit in with my own plans of The Old Nueva Gang not existing anymore and Nayden somehow surviving that extermination.

@Queentze @The Angry Goat Don't know if you guys would be interested in this. The Gang isn't fleshed out or anything but there is a second-in-command, Boss, and essentially enforcer (Nayden). Perhaps you guys could be working for them in the interests of political assassination or rival gang extermination.

Either way, if you're looking for somewhere to start why not start with The Old Nueva Gang? It won't be around for long but its a way for some of the characters to know/recognize one another.

@FallenTrinity Nayden, at the moment, isn't necessarily the type to go recruiting. He's biding his time, laying in the shadow of an influential figure in order to slither out and deliver that lethal bite in the future. Unless your alien is someone powerful, I can't see him going out his way to manipulate the guy. lol. Though he does have the cunning to do so if he sees your alien being useful in the future, just don't expect the relationship to be smooth. The guy is kinda shaky. He can only hold the facade of caring for so long.

Just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas or plot-related stuff they wanted to do with Nayden (The Sentry)?

I'll list some things about him to get some ideas rolling or just to put it out there. Maybe give you guys a clearer image of him.

• He has a Personality Disorder - Paranoid PD. In other words, he projects his defects onto others in order to be right. He is constantly on the look out for treason but often in the middle of the crowd. In his mind he can do no wrong. He makes no attempts to humanize himself inwardly and knows he's superior to "The Herd" as he calls the mass.
• Only three people in the Old Nueva Gang knows of his true power.
• For the most part, he subjects himself to appearing human in the eyes of others. He does this, despite knowing better, in order to better keep a eye on those around him.
• He goes to High School and is consider extremely smart by the faculty and his peers. Truth be told, he cheats constantly by reading the memories of those who know the answers.

Powers - Nayden discovered several well-documented abilities that he can utilize. All of them have either spawned from or was a direct result of his psychic powers. His super-strength, nigh-invulnerability, and super-speed are all acts of corporal manipulation; reinforcing, energizing, and shielding his body. Of course, he could barely call himself a psychic without the telltale repertoire of gifts. Telekinesis is one of them. At most he can lift a sedan without effort. Unlike his mom, who could dive into another's mind unaided, Nayden can only defend his from other psychics and experience past memories from the unaware. Try as he might, he has never been able to read one's current thoughts or future intentions.

Skills - Nayden's personal skills are severely lacking. He's relied on his powers for most of his life so he's kinda useless if they were taken away. He's good at reading the tension in the air, probably the result of some uncounted power. Very manipulative, charming even to most people. He plays a good fool.

Weaknesses - One-on-One fights are his specialty, however group fights tend to be trickier. His powers work on the premise of mental concentration. Too many distractions often leave openings for mistakes and without his psychic powers backing him up, he's essentially a normal, un-athletic teen. One whose never really felt true pain or disappointment. Furthermore he's never encountered another super-powered being, sure he heard word of Spider-Man, seen him on the big-screen, but he never had to fight the freak himself.

BRIEF Bio - Nayden was born to Annalise Reynolds, single-mother and workaholic in the downtown streets of Nueva York. She was a librarian, dabbling model, and aspiring lawyer. Incapable of ever returning to her scholarly ambitions, Annalise had become content with learning what she could at her part-time job and taking care of her psychic, wallflower of a child. Because, regardless of how desperate she was to better her own life, she was fully devoted to insuring the best for his.

Nayden Reynolds was the latest of a rare breed. A child who had been born with their ancestor's: Robert Reynolds' (The Sentry) peculiar gifts. As powerful and heavy as those gifts were, Nayden had not avoided the importance of them. For a time he had ostracized himself, struggling to beat the learning curve for controlling his power; she had sensed that much with her own limited talents. Recently though, puberty had smoothen the rough edges, giving Nayden some form of personality. He was kind but quiet and often selfless, but that came with a volatile tendency of overreacting. Which with his gifts were often fatal for others. She had always been on guard for "accidents", always dipping in and out of his mind, searching for the unfortunate. Sometimes he blocked her out. That was hard to deal with but understandable. Still she trusted him and loved him dearly, she knew he was a good kid and knew one day he would become something spectacular.

What she did not know was truth about Nayden Reynolds

Yea, he had took time to hone his powers but it wasn't for the safety of the herd. It was for himself. Having dozens of thoughts, both hideous and mundane, fill his head everyday was a circus. A painful, obnoxious one. Truth was he was the central guard for a very powerful, very ugly gang leader. They were sharks, very dangerous but very awe-inspiring to look at. All wore suits or similar garments, the majority looked like cronies but special members... well they stood out. When they had saved him from those bullies all those years ago, he wondered the same as everyone else. Why? Why did the, then, second-in-command offer to protect him. Well he knew the answer now; y'see, them pressing him to learn control had ultimately been advantageous. Now he knew they wanted him for his power. Now he knew they had seen his strength.

Now he knew... that it had not been them that took out those bullies but none other then himself.

He had been unmovable against the fist of those thugs, a pure monster in terms of strength, and for a moment, he had floated over them like a god. They had seen it all and they had greedily wanted him for themselves. He was irreplaceable to The Boss; so long as he had his powers, he didn't need to be viewed as a demon to be left alone. He needed only be known as a member of The Old Nueva Gang.

It should be mentioned that his powers are not essentially psychic in nature. Robert Reynolds powers were born from a secret formula created by some professor. Its caused a phase-shift in his molecules, having his atoms jump ahead of the current time-line and giving him hyper-state of consciousness. It was very potent in Robert, since his time its been diluted, and now part and parcel of the formula floats inside of Nayden's molecules. He has yet to awaken to its latent capabilities but has realized several psychic powers and seems to believe that's all he's capable of.

Sample Post - He reached into his pocket until his entire hand was obscured, his fingers grasping for his domicile's key. He pulled it out, flinching from the gentle but unwanted touch of his mother's mental probing. She really needed a less invasive way of checking the door. He allowed her entrance to his initial thoughts while the door slid up into a wedged compartment.

"Perfect timing I was just leaving for a photo-shoot."

Nayden slipped off his weary sneakers and without pause carried himself down the hall to his room. "Yea, I remember you saying something like that." His voice grew louder the further he traveled. "Its that small shady group right? on Kjad Avenue?" Nayden hated the tedium of playing nitwit, his position within the Old Nueva Gang had afforded him plenty of insight. That shady studio on Kjad was filled with swindlers, nothing more. Rumors of rapist and murders had surfaced months ago but the actual employees were cowards, and as of recent, they were subservient to The Gang.

"Mhmm. Before you start I know awful things have been said about them but I wouldn't worry too much about it. Your mom can handle herself."

Nayden fixed his work clothes on, buttoning the remainder his white dress shirt and draping his topcoat around his shoulders. Course you wouldn't. You could probably smelt their minds easy, he thought. He heard her keys scrape against the counter as she snatched it up. "Food is in the fridge. Remember, Nayden, study, eat, sleep. I don't want to come home to your food still in the fridge."

"You got it, Ma," he voiced loudly. He sat on his bed, amidst his flawless room, awaiting to hear the final click of the door. When it resounded through the silent house, he rose, and begun his small trek to the hideout.
