I'm hoping this is acceptable. I watched the movies and hoped to joined this mostly due to the piloting giant mechas thing lol. Also I have a thing for Evangelion.

@Otaku95 I hope you feel better.

And umm, that's too bad. I just got into using Discord myself. I mainly posted that part just to get others talking lol.

Armend Kinora ⚔

Armend understood. If it looked like he didn't then it was simply the displeasure of considering being the better man. Something that, even till that day, felt like a sign of weakness to him. His lips fell crookedly and his brows furrowed. Him apologize to her? Yea, there was no way in hell that would happen. However, Armend was neither a fool or a liar. It would be hard but he had settled on giving it a try or at the very least, appearing too.

He lifted his head from its tilt, his eyes now hard and clear from murky thoughts. "I know the importance of teamwork... if you don't believe that from anyone else, than believe it from me. Even still... Even knowing what working with others could accomplish, I won't be working with her until I get an apology. She called my entire way of life stupid. Its a matter of respect, not ego." he told him. "Alas, If you can get the bullfango to apologize, we might salvage this sinking ship." He ended his words with a rather teasing smile.

"Oh is that all you wanna know?" he said aloud, the lines in his face smoothing out. That was certainly a less pressing situation than he imagined, but now it was up to him if he was ready to spill the beans. His past village wasn't exactly the nicest place. The villagers there vehemently despised what they had become. The caretakers of the unwanted. The forced protectors of those abandoned.

On hindsight, he could see how it could snowball out of control so quickly. And yet, he still couldn't bring himself to forgive them. He dipped his head low, his eyes falling with deep thought. "I'll skip on it for now. Its hard to explain," he told Cyrus, his head tilting to the side. "But I just can't bring myself to say it for some reason.

Astral dispatched another Rover before glancing over his shoulder to see Laphicet. The heat and all-consuming danger made it easy for him to focus. Once-upon-a-time he would have considered Laphicet a hindrance, a distraction of the worst kind because of how he looked. All childish and helpless. Now he knew better. The few missions he had went on with the young man had granted results. While not his equal, Laphicet was very close.

"Good, we move to meet, Alain up above. I'm sure he's there. Stay low, Laphicet, I'll make this quick."

Astral swung Brightfang over head thrice, the powerful action swirling and creating wind. The next moment a crackle of lightening arced, striking enemy and environment alike. He stabbed Brightfang into the ground and eyed his handiwork. Machine and enemy soldiers laid on the ground, smoking from the magical blast. Blessings go to thee, Odin.

"Let's go, Laphicet," he said starting towards the stairs that would lead to the super weapon.

The Chief's snorning, as weird as it would seem, was oddly comforting for Armend. Back at his old village, he would often sleep with the young Abandoned, just a group of them on the floor and himself often watching over them; from the very young to barely teenagers, it was a ceiling of snores that provided safety and shelter.

Armend sat at the table and smiled lightly, knowing that something was up. "Oh, com on, that little hit. It was nothing," he lied, rubbing his chin from side-to-side.

Know your Place.

Armend turned to look at Cyrus, surprise visible on his face. He raised a brow and strode off towards the hut again. Not really? You got a place I can crash for the night?" he asked. In the man's eyes were a bit of gravity, the type of weight that made one reconsider their actions. Armend cocked his head to the side. Did he want another match?

He entered the hut again with measure of caution.

Know your Place.

Armend looked over towards the paper int he chair. Just as surely as he had mentioned it, the sheet, or parchment was resting, its edges curled upwards. He avoid looking at Clara, the ire from their argument still smoldering in his gut. Rubbing his neck, he started off inside the moment he heard Clara began to speak. It was obvious what they would do, especially considering he was a bit banged up from the match.

He entered the hut from the back then exited from the front. Once back on the road, the orange and purples of the sky blending in, shading him with warm and mysterious colors, he pondered where the Inn was. Surely they had one. He stepped away from the home. "I'll come back in the morning to hunt those Ioprey." he told himself.

Know your Limits...

Armend took Cyrus' offer, gripping his hand firmly whilst he pulled him up. He still felt a bit shaken by the blow, but at least now he could pretend to be operating at full capacity. He rolled his arms and showed that crooked, self-confident grin. "The match was definitely worth the hassle."

"So what now, Teach?
