Sounds like a good idea and it seems like the simplest method to overclock the Yamato. I'm just waking up, so that's all I can think to add. But I say we go for it. The Amalthea-class with its GN-Drive(s) should be able to produce a powerful Wave Motion Gun.

EDIT. Also I think its safe to move on @Crimson Lion.
I think my favorite is the Amalthea-class. It doesn't have alot bogging it down and with its simple design we could easily explain someone fitting it with a Wave Motion Gun.

I can see the back spinning and the front opening up now. Well that does it for me, I'm throwing in my vote for the Zanscare Empire ship.
@Double I started looking up some other ships that might be more suited and maybe easier to explain away being shaped and remodeled. I ended up stumbling on this one Sadalahn. Maybe that one would fit better. I'm sure there are others that resemble what you're looking for better but this is the first that seemed to be a cohesive similar to a gunbarrel.
@KenjuGuy I agree with ya there lol. I'm expecting plenty of 'old man' jokes.
Awesome, I had fun with that post and hopefully the imagery came through well. I had it clear in my head, here's hoping it translated properly lol.

Ryoichi loosed a half-cocked smile while being bombarded by Char-chan's remarks. He was more or less envious of them, the young ones still enamored, still engrossed. It was adorable, naïve, and a little frustrating to watch but it ultimately reminded him of how strong the spirit of Gundam and Gunpla could be. A note to himself, that this 'entity' was a meticulous work of art. It really did its job well, even going so far as finding a place of employment for a nineteen year old dropout like himself.

He chuckled kindly to Char-chan before shrugging his shoulders and taking a step back. The sound of his plastic bag grating following his movement. "You wound me, Char-chan. Though a colony drop would be right up your alley wouldn't it?" he asked while fumbling in his Pringles can for the bottom chips. "Dammit, they're always the hardest to get."

In midst of duking it out with a construction of paper and plastic, Ryoichi had almost missed the second visitor. The loud boy's voice, almost pleading for attention, drudged a glance from Ryoichi. He found it difficult to maintain focus through the boy's tirade, in fact, he found it almost unbearable. A quip here or there was fine but at this point he was rambling. Ryoichi shifted his gaze sideways while really drilling down to the bottom of his Pringles can to drown out the youth.

Still he caught the 'Sharks' message. Ryoichi rolled his eyes, "More like Team Imagine Victory's ASS fighter," he thought and that brought about a hissing laughter.

And then IT happened... He was called old, in so many words, by someone he owed nothing to. And someone, surprisingly, he had disliked immediately. For a moment, the world stood still and all Ryoichi could do while standing there, staring blankly at the Shark was spit out a dry "Ha!"

He rose from his slouch, straight and tall, and faced the boy. Beneath his tea-shaped shades, he looked impassively at the loud-mouthed fighter and determined, almost on a whim, that yeah, he would rip his Gunpla to shreds. Ryoichi smiled a smile that didn't reach his eyes and without mirth said, "Though I doubt you'll grasp this, you just signed your Gunpla's death warrant, Guppy. Be thinking of a new kit now, you'll need it by the end of this Tournament."
Was thinking of posting again, if everyone’s cool with that. I’ll probably get to it in like an hour or two. Just a heads up and I guess an inquiry lol.
Feels good to have my first official post out there. @Dezuel just wanna check in with ya, make sure you're good with my post bud. Let me know when you get the chance if something bothered ya.

Long-term jobs tended to end prematurely, which was why it was rare for Ryoichi to accept one, however after meeting his clients and partner; it was simply too enticing to turn down. The kids were running high on emotion; revenge and all that, it reminded him what it was like all those years ago when he first got into Gunpla, when everything was fresh, fun, and exhilarating. When he believed he could fight every second of the day at a thousand-percent. Sweating and simply reveling in the combat. Maybe they didn't have his problem of being too strong though and they were certainly still living in a time of having fun just for the sake of fun. Lucky them.

All things, even the fun things, became weight sooner-or-later. It was a harsh truth he had come to accept only three years into his Gunpla career. After things got complicated, unsatisfying, and boring...

Over the two weeks, Ryoichi, in his signatuer lighthearted manner started calling his younger-associate, Char-chan. He openly treated the others as younger siblings and that often rubbed them the wrong way.

At Kishimoto Arcade, where the crowd was thick with hardcore Gunpla fans and fighters, Seo was in the middle of both encouraging, rather brutally at that, and reminding everyone who was in charge. Ryoichi looked around at the competition aimlessly, chomping on Pringles he'd picked up earlier that morning, a brown plastic bag was dangling from his wrist.

The idea that this rivalry was as important as they believed floated into his head and for a moment he almost believed it too. But that quickly dissipated when he mistook a raven-haired woman for Julie Yamaguchi. That smacked him back to reality and his carefree expression, both calm and airy, returned to him. As Seo was dividing roles out to his friends another fighter approached them, a rough-looking fella carrying a bag.

Ryoichi looked down on him from his spot some-even four-feet away and whistled, honestly impressed with his guts, as he left. "Well that one certainly knows how to hit below the belt," he laughed. He looked to Char-chan and smacked the back of his wheelchair playfully, "Good thing he didn't throw a jab at my precious partner here, right?" Then, a bit more serious. "Hey, Seo, you sure you don't want me or Char-chan to handle him? He might be too much for you."

A jest on the surface but maybe... just maybe Seo would heed his warning.
So whats the posting order if any? Do we just post when we have time and wait for the full cast to respond?
