Ryoichi loosed a half-cocked smile while being bombarded by Char-chan's remarks. He was more or less envious of them, the young ones still enamored, still engrossed. It was adorable, naïve, and a little frustrating to watch but it ultimately reminded him of how strong the spirit of Gundam and Gunpla could be. A note to himself, that this 'entity' was a meticulous work of art. It really did its job well, even going so far as finding a place of employment for a nineteen year old dropout like himself.
He chuckled kindly to Char-chan before shrugging his shoulders and taking a step back. The sound of his plastic bag grating following his movement. "You wound me, Char-chan. Though a colony drop would be right up your alley wouldn't it?" he asked while fumbling in his Pringles can for the bottom chips. "Dammit, they're always the hardest to get."
In midst of duking it out with a construction of paper and plastic, Ryoichi had almost missed the second visitor. The loud boy's voice, almost pleading for attention, drudged a glance from Ryoichi. He found it difficult to maintain focus through the boy's tirade, in fact, he found it almost unbearable. A quip here or there was fine but at this point he was rambling. Ryoichi shifted his gaze sideways while really drilling down to the bottom of his Pringles can to drown out the youth.
Still he caught the 'Sharks' message. Ryoichi rolled his eyes, "More like Team Imagine Victory's ASS fighter," he thought and that brought about a hissing laughter.
And then IT happened... He was called old, in so many words, by someone he owed nothing to. And someone, surprisingly, he had disliked immediately. For a moment, the world stood still and all Ryoichi could do while standing there, staring blankly at the Shark was spit out a dry "Ha!"
He rose from his slouch, straight and tall, and faced the boy. Beneath his tea-shaped shades, he looked impassively at the loud-mouthed fighter and determined, almost on a whim, that yeah, he would rip his Gunpla to shreds. Ryoichi smiled a smile that didn't reach his eyes and without mirth said, "Though I doubt you'll grasp this, you just signed your Gunpla's death warrant, Guppy. Be thinking of a new kit now, you'll need it by the end of this Tournament."
