Ah, I see the bots are back again with their nonsense posting.

Got my new sci-fi mecha RP up. Put a lot of work into the background of this one, and wrote out a whole setting

Cambozola is definitely A-Tier. It combines all the best parts of Brie with Blue Cheese, what's not to like.

Guess the mecha RP idea wasn't as popular or as interesting as I hoped it might be. Not much in the way of bites on that one so far, sadly

Bio
I've been roleplaying in one form or another since the late '90's. I've played as many tabletop games as I have online ones, and the quality of both has varied wildly. I have an active imagination, and I love immersive, descriptive roleplaying. My genres of choice are sci-fi, and modern-day (with a sci-fi twist). I like RP's that mix reality with fiction, and throw an unusual and exciting twist into an otherwise normal setting - something like Stargate SG-1 would be an example, or Battle: Los Angeles. An almost recognizable world, but with some sci-fi twists. I'm a fan of military and action-based RP's that do this especially, and they are easily my favourite - though I rarely see any that appeal to me enough - all the military RP's are too 'plain', and anything else modern day is usually fantasy or fandom. I have a lot of fandoms, but I don't really like fandom RP's - or at least, the ones that come up. I often find them a bit lacking in ideas, or too far away from what actually makes the thing I'm a fan of enjoyable.
I don't play in free, as I find the short posts and bad spelling and grammar infuriating.
I'm 43 years old, and live in the UK, so I may not be on all the time. I also like playing non-human characters, especially anthro ones. I dig giant robots, and I love military aircraft. I'm also a very dedicated and proud Brony and furry.
@Silverwind Bladeah well that’s an upside I guess. I’ll look into the problem when I get home. Hard to participate when I can’t even read the setting notes!
Also, out of curiosity, is that an MLP icon?
Haha, hope you can sort it out, if not, we'll find a way.
And yes; It's a head shot of my OC I cropped out of a picture I drew for a friend of both our pony OC's as a Christmas present a couple of years ago. I can link the full one if you want to see it.
Here we go! I'll have to see about drawing her at some point. <snip>
Yay, Ibex, and yay, hooves! I liked hoofed anthros. She is very much approved, feel free to add her into the characters tab, and I'll edit the OP to include her deets ^^
Hey, guys, I think I might have to sit this one out. I’m a little busier than I anticipated. Sorry if I got anyone’s hopes up. Good luck, ya’ll, and have fun!
Aw, that's a shame, but I understand! Hope you manage to deal with your busy time okay, and thanks for showing the interest in the first place too.
On the upside, @redbaron1234 this means there's a spot for you if you want it? Not sure what the issues with One Note are for you - I don't have it installed, I just access it through a browser. You may need to have a Microsoft online sign in or something, but I'm not sure.
Hey I'm afraid that the One Note link to the lore document is broken. You might want to fix that soon, Id love to learn more about this, if you are still accepting
Sorry, somehow I missed this message. I can't confirm if it's broken for anyone else, as it seems to be working for me - but then, I'd expect it to be since I created it? Can anyone else confirm if the link to One Note is still working? At the moment, we have a full roster, but if anyone drops out, I'll be happy to put you in, and if you're really interested, I might be able to add an extra place - though, it might be a stretch and I don't want the group to get too large.
I know that I said I'd post my CS last night, but I had an RP reply I needed to finish as I'd been dragging my feet on it, and then the sleepies came for me in the night lmao.
It's about 3 quarters finsished though. I can round out the history when I get home tonight. Sorry for the delay and hope you guys like Mountain Goats.
Moutain Goats are awesome, and I'm totally laid back, so no rush. Not qute ready to start yet, and I'm not going to be worrying about chivvying people along to finish their CS just yet :)
@Silverwind Blade Well, it only took me getting sidetracked 3 times on this character, better than my usual 5 or 6. I also thought of another question, would modules on the GEAR be easily changed on the battlefield or is it a complicated process that needs a maintenance bay or something? such as in a potential instance where someone would salvage a perfectly working *whatever* from a fallen GEAR, would they be able to attach it then and there?
Totally happy with Fionn, he sounds great, and I can see he and Sean getting along pretty well too. Feel free to post him in the characters tab ^^
Good question on the GEAR issue too! Not something I'd considered, but a good thing to bring up. I mean, as far as hand-held weapons go, absolutely. It's like picking up someone elses' rifle. Regarding other equipment or weapons, I could imagine it would be possible, but would be less pick-it-up-off-you-go, and more the kind of thing you can do once the battle is done with two GEARs, one to mount it on and one to hold it in place and some simple tools and a few OS options. Hope that answers the question, and seems reasonable!
@Silverwind Blade Okay, sweet~ Could I tech it up later on, perhaps? I kinda had an image of something a little like Raiden’s high-frequency blade.
Potentially, none of the melee weapons in the setting at GEAR or person scale feature anything like that as yet, but who knows what you might end up encountering as the story progresses
