“Let’s dig!” Kosara happily exclaimed with shovel in hand as the duo had geared up with tools of the trade for their sudden excavation efforts. The peace and calm of the winter was nice and all, but Kosara being Kosara was in need of some excitement! The duo’s attack on the spot soon revealed that yes, there was something well of note there. Especially when some of it crumbled and let out the odor of rot of some kind or another. She turned to look at V, her own grin wide.” Ohh… we can let them do it, but let grab the mattocks just in case.” She confirmed.

Eventually the group had well reassembled, Kathryn and Berry looking a bit ruffled up from their fight… training…? Whatever it was, but point was that the crew well undertook the job of breaching the hidden room. Or maybe it was a tunnel? A secret dungeon!? Whatever it was, must have been there a while, what with all the roots and everything. Or the way the wood had rotted up. Even if it was buried that still took time. In any case with some team efforts and mainly letting the bigger people do it faster, the entrance was well uncovered!” YAY!” Kosara exclaimed when the way was opened, only for blink in confusion when a sparkle of magic… or was it a shiver of magic... glimmer of magic? There was something that happened that caused her to blink and look in confusion at the others.” Anyone else felt that?” She asked before her head tilted in confusion when she took in her friends. Something was just off. Not by much, but there was something off.

She stared at V who to Kosara was most easily to spot the difference… kind of. V looked taller. Visibly so. Kathryn at first glance didn’t appear too different outright. Berry on the other side was… shinier.” Hmmm… So V, you are taller and Berry’s shinier? Huh… weird! Anyways, exploration!” She quickly recovered, not noticing her own change, mostly cause with the exception of the fringe the rest of her hair was pulled in that braid behind her so nothing she could directly see without manually pulling her braid to check. So merrily she stormed into the newly opened space instead having confirmed her friends were alright( probably).

The room they had found seemed to be a distillery of sorts. There were crates, barrels, stills, tools… the room seemed remarkably well preserved actually. Kinda looked like a nice place for an earthen home. Of course there was one main feature that pulled quickly on the white tiefling’s attention. Though it was probably fairer to say two features as it was 2 dead bodies that Kosara ended up bolting over to to examine them.” Well… they are dead yes.” She stated the obvious as she looked at the two very dead looking humans.” This place must have been buried for a long while. Wonder if anyone around knows who these two were. Cecily said she had no idea of this place too.”

V’s interest in the buried wall was a huge mood boost for the tiefling. She was genuinely happy for the crew to gather for any reason at all. The last few days they mostly gathered up for mealtimes and Kosara kind of felt lonely all things considered once her adventuring out in the snow ended and she gets back for mostly being alone until mealtimes.” I don’t think so…?” She quite doubted it was insects. It was a bit too cold for insects, wasn’t it?

She turned with a huge smile towar’ds Kathryn’s direction, the one where she heard her voice from. Kosara’s expression fell just a tad.” But… exploration?” She asked, wondering why Kathryn didn’t want to come join them for the fun of exploring buried marvels…

“Maybe? But it looked weird… so… I’m not sure. Pulsating rotten grapes can’t be a normal thing.” She shrugged in reply to Berry who apparently was up with Kathryn for beating the hell of each other for some reason.” Yeah my thinking too. I was always told bugs didn’t like the cold! Which admittedly wasn’t a thing back home much. Sure nights can get chilly, but the days were scorching.”

“Alright, I’m going to talk with Cecily about the wall and we can then go check it out, V.”

Kosara’s dash was fast and energetic as only she or a kid could be. In any case, locating the Lady of the Manor wasn’t too difficult a task. In the end the talk with Cecily proved to be both fortuitous and not so much. On the bad side of things, the older woman had nothing on the way of information about the possible buried secrets sans possible ideas of forgotten buildings from times past. On the plus side however…

“V, let’s go. Cecily gave full permission to poke around!” The tiefling energetically called back when she returned, positively giddy with excitement and brimming with energy.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Locating the spot wasn’t difficult, after all Kosara had it on her mind since she found it. Same with the spots where the got the grape, but she will try to drag V there later for the bard to see for herself. In any case, now at the point of interest, she pointed out to V the place she had leaned and revealed the stacked stones behind. It wasn’t much, but it was clear something was there.” See, it’s here! It looks like somebody blocked something! Do we dig it out now?” The tiefling woman asked, looking around, trying to spot any of the toolsheds for the fields that Cecily mentioned. A good pickaxe or a shovel would do wonders. Or maybe a hammer. Alternatively she recalled V's spell that seemed to shater that tree in that fight with the goblins.
Alright, Kosara was ready to admit it. She quite liked this place… the nature around these parts was marvelous. As much as she loved the south, the endless seas of golden sandy dunes, the gentle sound of the winds, the beautiful clean if a bit cold evenings with the clear skies and the moon so beautifully hanging in the skies. Ohh yes she missed the beautify of her home land and her family, but now in these strange lands she was experiencing so many beautiful and curious things.
As she began settling into the life at the L’Roze’s lands, she got to experience the shift from the beautifully colorful hues of autumn with the first cold and white snows. It was such a marvelous surprise and so weird for her. At first she just looked out form the safety of their abodes at the falling snowflakes, wondering how it was all a thing. How did it sometimes rained and other times snowed? Why was it cold? Why was it white!? It was with a childlike wonder and curiosity that she had ventured out when the snows settled, stomping her way through the snow, feeling the cold, wrapped tightly in her clothes. Looking around, she wondered if she could hide in the snow with her long snow white hair. She had heard some animals gain white coats in winter.
It all was truly a marvel and she spend many a daylight hour wandering the grounds even before it snowed. Get up, have breakfast, prepare and storm outside to play.. ahm… explore! And she had returned back after her adventures every time covered in snow, and flushed up from the cold and activity. Then she’d dry up and spend some time practicing her dancing skills before the night arrives and she settles in for the night with dinner and writing of her adventures in her journals. She even wrote a letter she was wondering how to send back home, seeing it was so far away, but it was for another day.
It was on those adventures she had found some curious things! Kosara liked curious things! One was these dried up grapes? They looked just so odd in this landscape right in that moment. She could swear they were pulsating too! She stared at them for a good while, before figuring she had NO idea what they were. Maybe the locals knew! They seemed to be the experts on grapes and maybe V too if it was important for wine making… In any case, the pale tiefling carefully pulled one of the grapes with a cloth, looking at it intently as she studied how it pulled from the branch. The scent wasn’t… pleasant and it made her scrunch her nose. Once the thing had been secured, she bundled it up carefully for later display. Wondering what this weird rotting, fermenting grape was and it’s sludge like juice.
The second thing on a grand list of interesting curios was… THE WALL. Kosara’s discovery of it was quite the coincidence actually and she was really curious about it actually. She was going to check it later, but a half buried wall… Who knew what secrets and adventurers were hidden there! Of course her inner child who grew up by listening adventurers telling stories of dungeons and dragons was flying with anticipation. Naturally she also well realized that it could be a tomb for somebody local, but… she was going to bring it up with Cecily and Lizbet and see if they knew about it… and the weird grape!
So here they were one week later, one week of adventures and generally being busy and not having much chance to catch up and gather up the party. Breakfast was over and everybody was present! That fact made Kosara a very happy woman! She was beaming wide grins to everybody.
“Finally the group’s back together and we aren’t scattering!” Kosara merrily exclaimed.” I found interesting things while pla… ahm while exploring that I was waiting to bring up when we had the chance!” She corrected herself and pulled up the bundled up decaying grape, still bundled up carefully and tightly.” I found these weird grapes that were still in the field and not cleared. Looked weird and seemed to pulsate. Smell terribly though. Fermented and rotting.” She said placing the bundle on the table before continuing.” I also stumbled upon a makeshift wall buried in the dirt. Think it’s there to block something, so I plan to check it out in detail later after asking Cecily and Liz if they know about it.”
Kosara gave V a huge beaming smile at the comment about her contribution. Yes Kosara was happy to be praised. A bit of praise was good for you! With that she proceeded to give the breads around the table before taking one of the empty seats.” I wouldn’t mind at all! In fact they are great meal to have on the go.” The tiefling confirmed to her bardic friend. She then turned to her VERY good friend and grinned.” You could! Back home we used to wrap meats and other things all the time. Mine has some Ankheg meat I roast-fried on the skillet before we left. It turned out pretty good I think, a bit different to fried scorpions, but quite tasty. Would go well with wine I think… or cactus water. All kinds of things go well with cactus water. Also maybe with beer... I hear fried meats sometimes go well with beer.”
She grinned and nodded at Berry.” Would love some tea to go along with the breakfast.” The white haired woman admitted and looked at the variety that was presented at the table. This certainly was a veritable feast for most reasons. There was enough food for everybody and even some options. She was wondering what to get when Kathryn got loud again and proclaiming aloud the marvels of that drink she tried that was apparently bitter. Kosara eyed Kathryn again with intense focus, trying to figure if she needed another Lesser Restoration in case she had drank some alcohol again, but supposedly there was no Alcohol involved.” But I like tea and there’s such a good tea here! So I will have to pass. Berry, I would love some tea!” She replied, eyeing Kathryn’s drink with intent eyes. Intent on what? Well that was only for Kosara’s mind to know.
“You are welcome, Lizbeth!” Kosara told the younger woman with a happy smile. Her food was liked! That was a nice feeling! Not that back home people didn’t like her cooking, she just didn’t have too many chances to do so. There were people who were working on the job back home with that, getting paid and everything. So she couldn’t hinder their jobs. On that note she was pulling some regular bread and pondering what to put on it when she looked at Cecily who was explaining etiquette to them. She listened carefully and then looked down at the spoons when they were brought up as a topic. So different spoons for different things… yes? She eyed the spoons on the table, trying to discern the differences. Was this one of those different spoon for each part of the meal thing that some travelers back home spoke about? She couldn’t see the difference much at this moment, so she went back over the words that were spoken. She looked at the spoon by her with eyes of a hawk.’ Oh…’ She figured it out! Spoon for Supping, not spoon for Souping! Sup not soup! The tiefling let out a visible sigh of relief. So in any case she just picked some cheese to go with her bread.
Ignoring the heavy topics of succession which was apparently a thing even with this family, Kosara was preparing herself a toast with jam and cheese as she looked up when Cecily asked what their plans were.” I plan to keep in practice so lots of dancing, but besides that… I’m thinking of just exploring the world around as the winter settles in. I’ve never seen snow before or had the time to properly explore nature this far north from my home. So… probably whenever I’m not dancing or about the estate, I’m going to be out exploring.” Or in other words, she was going to be playing in the fields and forests of the Estate. Because if her dancing in the rain back in Avonshire was anything to go by, she was going to love the snow. Locating anything unusual in the fields and forest would just be a nice bonus on top.
Kosara was quickly mixing the second batch of dough for Berry to knead while she was going to be cooking the first ones over the skillet, she was looking at him kneading it. It was kinda adorable… sort of. This big dragonborn fancy monk kneading dough with his one hand. Hmm… her sisters weren’t going to believe her if she told them. Nahh they would, they would just be confused at first probably.
“They also mentioned that the ankhegs were out of season.” The tiefling replied to Berry with a shrug.” Have no idea what it was, all I know is that the ankhegs went after Cecily, Lizbeth and their friend and before they reached them out of nowhere the thing froze in fear and started backing down.” The warlock stated, checking the temperature on the skillet.” Now… I couldn’t figure out what it’s reason for fear was nor I spotted anything suspicious, but even if we are looking at coincidences it’s weird. So… loose bet, either one of the 3 of them, something on the cart or… something was hiding behind them? Can’t say, but it should be a reason for thought. Any of them could also have had a magical item without knowing it… or it was fully coincidental, BUT THERE WAS SOMETHING!” The pale woman finished her explanation. Now to be said, she wasn’t about to accuse any of them, but there were possible reasons why it could have happened. Panicking too much without any information was a bad idea, but it meant you should keep an eye out just in case.” Yeah it’s perfect, here do the same to this one. I will prepare the first ones in the meantime.”
Once he kneaded the first batch she gave him the second one as she began tearing it to parts and preparing the flat breads, putting them on the skillet. She also pulled a bit of ankheg meat, dicing it to tiny bits, planning to roast/fry them on the skillet with the last bread.” Hmm?” She made a curious sound as she heard the question by the monk, tilting her head to the side adorably.” YES!” Was her first reply that was very simple and direct as she fussed over the breads
“We are VERY good friends!” She confirmed happily.” Of course wee are close, I really, really like her!” Was what she was saying the same thing people would understand as meaning? Maybe… probably not. Not that she realized it.” My sisters all receive and exchange gifts with their friends back home! Especially if they frequent their services when they stay at the caravan rest.” She nodded. Again context and as far as Kosara knew those were indeed friendships. Granted exchange of money was involved, but the gifts weren’t for payment… so friendship right?” Besides have you seen the muscles on Kathryn? I want to see and touch all over them.” And back was the very misunderstood arguments and obsession/curiosity.
With that Kosara focused back on finishing the quick 6 flatbreads that neatly baked on the skillet. The last one she put on and added the bits of ankhegs to bake-fry beside it as she did so. In the end she had a small handful of tasty crispy ankheg meat that was quite alright. Could do with some spices though, she wrapped it in her flatbread and put the skillet out of the fire, making sure everything was as clean as possible and secure.” Gotta go, quick, quick! We going to be late!” She hurried, grabbing the bundled flat breads that she had placed in a clean cloth and off she went, leaving easily misunderstood statements in her wake as she hurried to the breakfast arranged by the L’Roses.
On the way the main house, there were some folk that greeted with tipped hats, so Kosara gave them energetic waves with her free hand in return. Reaching the place of the breakfast wasn’t too hard, but she probably should have tried a basket instead of a cloth bundle. In any case, ending up at the breakfast locale she waved her hand.” Hope, we weren’t late!” She exclaimed as she arrived.” The food looks amazing!” Was the followed up exclamation in amazement.” Also I made flat breads for everybody! One for everybody.” She exclaimed raising her carefully bundled up munchies.” Can be eaten up later too, should be good for a while and make a fine snack on the go in between mealtimes!”
“Great! I know Grandpa would like you!” Kosara cheefully agreed with V’s statement. Did the tiefling detect the sarcasm? Not really, the pale tiefling did no do sarcasm well, part of her issues and general personality. Not that she couldn’t understand negativity, shes just didn’t understand the use of sarcasm well, she was getting better… maybe. She did believe that her Grandpa and V would get famously well! Like house and fire! That was a saying about things getting along well, right? She could swear she has had cases of hearing it somewhere or other in the past.
“Well of course. Flat bread is very popular back home and it makes good foodstuffs. You can even make what’s probably a sandwich with it, you just take the flatbread, wrap it around the meat and other stuff and presto tasty foodstuffs.” Kosara replied with a happy voice to Kathryn mock surprise, before she raised an eyebrow at Kathryn’s statement.” Well to be fair, I’m fairly certain the desert I grew up in is not located between here and your homeland… unless your home is on the other side of the desert… which I got the impression it’s not?” She offered the reason they hadn’t met in the past. Kosara herself was rather sure if they did meet in the times past, she would have remembered it.
Finally there was a tight hug!” YAY HUGS!” Kosara exclaimed and wrapped her own lithe, but somewhat toned arms around the bigger woman in return of the hug. She loved hugs, hugs were the best! Granted they were better without metals and armors on, but hugs still were the greatest even with those in the way. It was probably the best hug she’s had with another humanoid and mostly because Kathryn was so much bigger than her and the tiefling didn’t have to keep her head at an odd angle as to not poke the other woman with her side horns if they were at same height. In the end she felt a bit sad of ending the hug, but all good hugs had to end eventually. Only so they can start anew at some time in the future of course.
“Alright, have a good walk, Kathryn!” Kosara send off her friend with a huge happy grin and wave of her arms. All was good in the world as she turned to Berry.” I mean yes, something is certainly going on around here that we aren’t aware of. I still stand by my opinion that something spooked that Ankheg from making a mess of the cart yesterday, so take that as a think to think about.” The tiefling agreed with the one armed dragonborn. She even nodded in theatrically overdramatic fashion. A default state for Kosara though, dramatic about her antics.” Well, you can help with preparing the dough! Let’s go! TO THE KITCHEN!” With the grand proclamation in place, the tiefling skipped into the kitchen once more, grabbing her heavy bag. It had gotten quite a bit heavier and almost bursting at the edges nowdays. Maybe she should invest in a new travel bag? Or maybe… she should get two of em! One for each side!
“Alright… flour’s there… I got the needed spices more or less.” She began and pointed out where there was flour and pulled her own set of spices she had procured from her bag. She also pulled out a skillet that was quite shallow, tossing it on the fire to heat up while adding a little bit of oil to it to heat up while they were preparing the dough. Kosara mixed water, flour, salt and a bit of oil. When the mixture was done, she handed it over to Berry.” Now knead and mix it good for a few minutes! These are going to be the best flatbreads!” She exclaimed and mixed another batch in the meantime so they had enough for everybody. She also wondered if there was enough time left if she could hurriedly cook/roast some small bits of the ankheg meat to see how they fare. Like a handful of diced into cube meat quickly roasted/fried in the skillet and it's oil when the flatbreads were done. Now wasn't that an idea!
“Indeed it would be!” Kosara agreed merrily with V about being Celestially Blasted off the face of the world.” I mean, I was quite very certain, I wouldn’t have to, you proved some very good arguments about your abilities and never displayed evil means or acts with them and Grandpa always says to judge a person by their acts, but Grandpa also says to suffer not evil, so I am happy to have confirmation. Now whenever I meet Grandpa again, I can tell him all about it!” The tiefling smiled happily and warmly to V with all the joy in the world as if she hadn’t commented about potentially killing the bard earlier. Maybe it was just Celestial Warlock thing?
Then she turned to Cecily when V mentioned a desire to help with what the tiefling presumed was breakfast prepwork or at least setting the table.” Ohh, can I help too? I grew up in a caravan stop and the tavern there, I know how to carry things to and from a table! Also if we have a bit of time, I can make some flat breads!” She asked and suggested at the same time with big enthusiastic eyes. Weird northern culture aside, it was a marvelous start of the day! And it was certainly better than waking in the hayloft though the hayloft did provide some rather unique experiences.
Of all things of importance however was the hug… Kathryn gave the bard a hug. Kosara’s eyes were eyeing the two of them until the hug was broken then she walked up to the bigger woman, looking at her with big expecting eyes also.” Can I get a hug too?” She asked hopefully from her very good friend. If Kathryn was giving out hugs, Kosara was gonna ask and she was also planning to ask. Hugs were a very important friendship thing as far as she was concerned. Not the hugs that most adults got into behind closed or not so closed doors of course, but regular happy innocent hugs!
“Just tell that adventurers were doing adventurers things!” Kosara chimed in when the man said he was going to go out and try doing some damage control. Which was true… there was a certain degree of weirdness that followed in the wake of adventuring parties for some reason. Sometimes more… sometimes less, but a woman turning deathly still and seemingly well dead was far from the oddest thing that Kosara had witnessed in her life. Then again she grew up with a giant golden dragon horse teaching her magic in the desert, learning to dance with blades and meeting all sorts of travelers in one of the caravan rests in a desert crossing path… So her open mindedness might be a bit greater than rural Avonshire locals who never traveled far from their homelands.
“Alrighty!” Kosara replied to the dwarven craftsman when he rejected her offer for help and was deeply wondering now if the dwarf really found Berry funny and this was how he really expressed it or if he was sarcastic. In the end the lil girl in Kosara decided that Urmdrus really found it funny and nodded to herself.
“So, what are we doing now until we go for breakfast? Should I go see if I can prepare some flatbreads? Pretty sure I can do it before we meet up for the meal.” The white haired tiefling asked in the end.
“Ohh hey, Kathryn’s awake again! Good! I won’t have to Celestial Blast V!” Kosara cheerfully exclaimed when she walked into the couchhouse again, carrying her empty buckets as she gave the bard the biggest and most sincere and happy smile she could! Kosara wore most of her emotion on her sleeves… when she had sleeves anyways. Weird northern sayings aside, she grinned and looked at Kathryn again.” Good to see you are up, Kathryn!” She added and headed to the kitchen to finish up with her cleaning up chores, before she stopped mid step, looking at the bigger woman.” Please drink in some moderation! Don’t want to have to magic your drunk state again!” The white haired woman giggled as she skipped into the kitchen and filled the buckets again, before skipping out of the kitchen and towards thee outside… Almost done now.
Kosara saw Mrs Cecily while she was outside rolling the now empty barrels after another few rounds of throwing out buckets of water out. She gave the woman an energetic wave and greeted her just as energetically.” Hello, Mrs L’Rose!” She called out, about 70% certain she got the right adjective? Was that the word? Maybe… She wasn’t sure. In any case it was either Mrs… or Madame. But then Mademe was also something that the woman running the brothel back at Avonshire could be called… Pulling her thoughts from weird directions, she resumed her barrel rolling into the storage room where she had picked it form earlier before heading back inside.
She had not entered long and bolted to the fire place to write in front of it, merrily scribbling into that journal of hers, writing stories of grand adventurers, weirdness of northerners and their bathing habbits and of course the marvelous idea to use a barrel for a bath when their dwarven craft master arrived in this not too subtle and very direct manner asking for his pissing buckets. Berry was the first one to react it seemed. Kosara looked up and at the blue draconoid… dragon humanoid… at their Berry Pie.” There are 2 empty, but clean buckets at the storage room outside.” She told him where she dropped the buckets she used to fill and empty her bath earlier then looked at the craftsman.
“I left mine outside a few steps left of the door so it’s not in the way. Would you require help to carry the different buckets it to your workshop?” She asked honestly, asking if he needed some aid with transport and she felt a bit curious about his workplace where he planned to craft chitin into armor.
The white tiefling woman kept the happenings around her at the corner of her eyes and attention, but her main focus was on her long braid that was turning out as it did every time before. It was a bit hard to do at first when she was learning, but at this point she had years of braiding her or her sisters’ hairs. So it wasn’t all that difficult nowdays. In any case a few minutes in with a ritual ongoing and she was done with it so she hopped up from her seat, put on her coat and hopped to the kitchen, coming out with two buckets of water from the barrel. She filled it once, she’d empty it no worries just a bit of time.
Giving the spectacle one more look, she hurried out the door and walked a bit away from the coach house, throwing out the water out of the way then heading back, but not before noting an outhouse she supposed that was the next part of her plan. She put down her… barrel emptying buckets and picked one that she was almost certain was a pissing bucket or something and went to the outhouse to… do her part of the deal. A bit later she returned, putting the filled bucket for the dwarf to the side outside so isn’t in the way and picked her barrel emptying buckets again, heading inside. The ritual looked that it might be ending any moment now. She headed inside the kitchen, filling a the buckets again and heading into the main area of the place to note the ending of the ritual. Dramatic barding magic aside, the end result was after a sudden exclamation from her VERY good friend that was cut midway… the woman just dropped dead with a loud thud… a mildly unassuming and unimpressive way to go really as Kosara just stared at her unmoving friend for a bit, a meriad of thoughts rushing through her mind. She then also realized that she was going to have to attack V if she didn’t return her to the land of the living later… Grandpa would be displeased otherwise… probably, but V so far had made a good point about the benefits of necromancy that weren’t evil.
“Here.” She handed her small mirror to Lizbet when the girl wanted something to check if the woman was breathing. After hearing the confirmation that she was indeed NOT breathing, Kosara nodded. Sounded about right for a dead person yes. At least they weren’t going to turn her into a mummy or another type of undead… as far as she was aware anyways. She gave the bard a glance. Victoria didn't have the look of an evil necromancer... so until Kathryn was permanently confirmed dead, the tiefling decided to trust in V to bring her back.
Then a scream pulled her attention to the door where the cleaners were apparently just in time to witness a kill well perform. But it was a literal clean kill… No blood, no gore… no pesky gibblets anywhere. The woman ran away in screams, very dramatic that.” Hmm… probably. It's very fascinating!” Kosara concluded to the man’s question, looking at an unmoving Kathryn again.” Hey if she’s not up soon, I’m sure we will figure out something, but we should probably have Kathryn alive before more people arrive, V?” Kosara suggested before heading to the door again where the man was blocking the way.” Excuse me, could you please move slightly and thank you~” She asked and made her way beside him anyways as she carried the buckets out, tossed the water off and headed back inside and to the kitchen to get herself 2 more. She had another round or few to go.
“Thank you!” Kosara replied gratefully, after being in fact given some tea. She decided to think of it as an acceptance to the apology in the grand scheme of things. Her still very damp and even wet hair, keeping her cool as she took the drink and tried it.” Ohh this is marvelous.” She quipped happily and went to sit on the floor in front of the fireplace. She drank a few more mouthfuls of the quite tasty tea before finally placing it down to the side of her, as she tasted her hair to the touch a few times to check if it was a bit dried at least, pulling a very simple comb from her luggage, she began combing through her still moist hair to straighten it for easy braiding.
It was then that she paid attention to the happenings on the magical occasions in room. Or to be more precise the fact that apparently Kathryn had agreed to let V use magic on her. Well… considering everything, it was unlikely to be too bad. V was a bard and not a bad one. That and as far as Kosara was concerned, V was a pretty decent person so she shouldn’t cripple, maim or kill their big (apparently) giant warrior woman.” I can heal her injuries if she gets hurt, can also remove other afflictions like poisons and diseases within reasonable limits.” Kosara quipped from her spot to reassure that if nothing else the party did in fact at least have somebody capable of healing if things went wrong. That said… Kosara was VERY interested in what they were planning here. Necromancy was curious thing to her nowdays since meeting V.
Kosara then looked at Berry with curious expression when he went on a tangent about ritual daggers and damned bones. Now that had her curious even more since that sounded quite grim, but quite necromantic, her eyes trailed over to V and Kathryn with a similar morbid curiosity that might have been keeping the workers around to watch. She drank the rest of her tea before continuing with her combing for a little bit more and then put the comb back into the backpack before she turned her focus to herself when she began to braid her long hair with trained ease, running things she had yet to do today. Now that she finished the tea, once she braided her hair, she would have to do the bucket duty for their crafts, then bring out the barrel bath in this case meaning she’d have to use another bucket to throw the water outside before she could roll it out of the kitchen. All in all? Kosara had the next little while quite full of things to do so she focused on the task at hand, keeping and occasional ear and eye out on the bardic schenanigans.
