Matt was having an alright time with the patient he had been matched up with as they held a wobbly conversation and enjoyed each other’s company. This tranquility was soon disrupted as screams began to fill the hallway and loud thuds rang throughout the air. Immediately Matt began to worry and so did his new friend who began cowering, believing the sounds to just be in her head. Matt told her to stay where she was while he checks out what’s going on. Slowly Matt opened the door from the room he occupied, and looked out into the hallway which was in massive disarray. Clay looking men were destroying the hospital and dragging people away for who knows what purpose. Matt was going to duck back into the room when one of the clay-men noticed Matt and began rushing towards him. Rather than go back in the room, Matt ran out of the room and slammed the door behind him in the hopes of distracting the creature away from the girl he had been talking to.
Down the hall were more of the clay-men who looked vaguely familiar to Matt but ultimately he couldn’t remember where he’d seen them before. Matt decided that he wouldn’t be able to do much more running with the duo of clay-men in front of him so he decided to crack out what little of martial arts that he remembered from when he was ten and leapt at one of the two, leg outstretched. Matt fell to the ground as his attack didn’t do nearly as much damage as he had hoped though he did manage to push it back a little ways. Quickly Matt got to his feet and looked around frantically for a way out of his current situation as the other Clay-man got closer. Suddenly his eyes landed on a loose length of pipe that one of the Clay guys had knocked loose accidentally. Matt lurched for the pipe and swiftly spun around and took off the Clay man’s head with a mighty swing. Matt proceeded to bash the other two clay-men in his way with the pipe then he ran back to his new friend’s room in an attempt to protect her from any further harm.
“Noooo!” Rita screamed angrily as she looked down at the events unfolding down below through her telescope.
“Mere humans are taking down your putties Finster!” Rita yelled as she turned her attention to scolding her monster creator.
“M-maybe I didn’t keep th-them in the kiln long enough! If you call them back I can finish them up and you can send them out again!” Finster stammered as Rita looked at him angrily. After a good amount of time Rita broke her gaze and ordered Finster to do just as he suggested.
As quickly as the Putties came they were gone. The remaining ones dashed and scampered around picking up any pieces they could get of their fallen brethren and quickly rushed out of sight to be brought back up to the moon. The sudden disappearance was surreal to the inhabitants of the city. One minute they were in grave peril and the next minute the threat is gone entirely.
@UnknownScarlet4 I woulda if my Canadian Cartoon Network actually aired stuff at the right time. I'm gonna hopefully watch it tonight but I just saw the one before Wanted (I cant remember the name) yesterday and now I'm real jazzed for Wanted.
Sorry again guys. I got caught up with some previous engagements that I thought wouldn't take that much out of me but they did. I'll try for tomorrow if I can scratch something together.
Gonna try to get a post up later today. Not gonna lie, I've been having lots of trouble trying to write a post for this but I don't want to just end this 'cause I can't think of anything.
Chyrosparse was filled to the brim with excitement for their new assignment. After years of stupid assignments like guarding a door or doing routine analysis work on some of the core homeworld planets he finally had a shot at putting his name in the logs, to be a member of a group to check up on a homeworld geoweapon of massive proportions. It was really an honour for the young gem.
What Sparse didn't know is how boring the ride there would be. Most of the other gems seemed a little stuck up from what Sparse could gather but in all honesty she didn't care. She just wanted to do something noteworthy enough to get at least mentioned by some of her higher ups. That opportunity would soon reveal itself as the ship began to rumble and plummet towards the blue and green planet.
While most of the gems hunkered down, Sparse ran to look out one of the ships windows and look at the real image of the planet quickly getting closer and closer.
"This isn't looking good~!" he said with a slight melody to their voice which betrayed their excitement of the situation.
Powers: (II)Strength: Sparse is a lot stronger than they look, being on par with the likes of Jaspers and Amethysts.
(I)Endurance: While not very excessive, Sparse’s endurance is slightly better than most gems.
(I)Spin Attack: Much like most Quartzs, Chryosparse can curl her body up into a ball and ram into enemies at great speeds. NOTE: As of the beginning of the RP Sparse won’t have this power but will later develop it as she goes on.
Items:
The Gem Analysis Device allows the gem wearing it to analyze any gem within half a kilometer via conscious thought (it won’t just scan anyone willy nilly). The device is mounted on the side of a gem’s head and displays a holographic readout of what their looking at. The colour of the the holographic display changes to that of it’s wearer.

Backstory: Sparse was an unwanted, but not unwelcome, creation in her experimental Kindergarten of X-21-12-08. Scientist there were attempting to create stronger soldiers for their army via the Quartz line of gems. This experimentation resulted in numerous failures often times simply creating ‘dud’ gems or already known gems such as Jaspers or Rose Quartzs. Sparse was one of these mundane mistakes. Chryosparse weren’t regularly made due to their history of ‘not getting much bang for your buck’ so to speak. They require more resources than most Jaspers but are about on par with them in terms of combat capabilities (not to mention their diminished height), making them a waste to create. After being created Sparse was assigned to various odd jobs around the Homeworld colonies until their first major assignment fifty years later. Sparse was to be accompanying a group of gems to check on the Cluster, a Homeworld super weapon, as a bit of extra muscle should they need it.
Writing example: A brief sample of your character doing a thing, to give an insight on both your style as well as how your characters acts and reacts. 3-5 paragraphs preferable. Can be as a drabble or an RP.
