Orville Nicholson / Nick / 20 / Yellow Crystal Ranger / #F9F903 / Alfie Deyes A P P E A R A N C E Standing at 5'6" and weighing in at a solid 160 lbs, Nick sports a bit of a gut and his fair share of lean muscle thanks to a renewed interest in exercise. What his body lacks in conventional attractiveness, his stance more than makes up for. Despite any personal insecurities, Nick always walks with purpose and an air of confidence that fills in any apparent gaps in his looks.
Face wise, Nick's defining feature would be his smile which is normally plastered on his face. While some people have a resting frown, Nick's mouth is almost always curled into a smile even if the situation wouldn't call for it. His hair is usually kept styled and short but he normally 'over corrects' on hair cuts to allow his to space them out as much as possible.
S T Y L E Nick wears whatever he's collected over the years from contests, hand-me-downs or even the occasional stop at the store. As such just about every piece of clothing of his has a brand or business plastered garishly somewhere on it which is usually what draws the eye when someone first get's an eye-full of Nick. One consistent piece of apparel Nick normally sports is a pair of ratty flip-flops he's managed to keep together with some amateur sewing, duct-tape and whatever else he can find.
In keeping with the group's aesthetic choice, Nick will often times try to wear a brand with a yellow logo or, if push comes to shove, a stark yellow baseball cap will do to keep up the theme.
P E R S O N A L I T Y - Confident - Sometimes you're not the smartest, strongest or most eloquent one in the room but faking it till you make it can definitely get you far, Nick would know. When his mind is set on something, Nick will stop at very little till he accomplishes his goal.
- Over Confident - Sometimes you're not the smartest, strongest or most eloquent one in the room and acting like you are just makes you look like a fool. Sometimes the impossible is just that but it'll take Nick too long to realize something might be beyond his abilities.
- Positive - The grass is always greener on the other side but Nick has a knack for appreciating the green where he is. He's not delusional and will acknowledge the bad in a situation but in his eyes there's always a silver lining.
F A C T S - Nick peaked in high-school. He was a 'star' volleyball player, plenty of friends and well liked to boot. After graduating with alright grades, he's spent the last two years working a dead end job in a phone kiosk within the Angel Grove Mall. He had plenty of opportunities for colleges but so far his indecisiveness has kept him at home (see trapped) in Angel Grove.
- Falling into a funk after high-school, Nick has begun working out again and seriously considering his options for post secondary education. He doesn't hate Angel Grove but Nick feels that he was always destined for greater things, outside of the homely Angel Grove.
- Nick has a big family sporting a mom, dad and three older sisters, all of which have moved out of Angel Grove. He still keeps in close contact with his closest sister Samantha while the others he only really has contact with on holidays. Family means a lot to Nick but he hasn't had much of a bond with the others since they left town.
R A N G E R Why is Nick a good fit with the Rangers? When the going gets tough, people need to get tougher and while Nick can't help out physically his positive demeanour can help keep the morale of the team up. His predisposition towards athletics is also a plus when it comes to getting down and dirty with the forces of evil.
