Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Cecil snorted into her drink again, coughing and setting the mug down as Fio made her reply.

“Ahaha, well, of course in this hypothetical situation,” Cecil cleaned the remnants of the drink off her mouth with her sleeves as she’d glance over towards Fio. “That person would be a total fool not to accept such a kind and magnanimous offer.”

“Eh? You’ll help?”

“What can I say, this beautiful maiden here has convinced me with her quick wit and wise words.” She’d grin at Fio. “So, consider me hired. Free of charge! That’s what good folk such as myself do, after all. For Queen and the kingdom and all that. Besides…come to think of it, I have something you all may be interested in. The location of some ne'er do wells and some troublemakers here in the mountains. Bandits, if you will.”

“Oh, you mean those funny little humans that kept poking me with those sticks?”

“Gunnrun, you’re too naive for your own good sometimes…” Cecil shook her head. “Consider it a favor since I’m sure you’ll wanna clean those fellas up you righteous and courageous sort.”

“Well with that outta the way I can show ya where that things nest is! Or at least…where I ran into it last….” Gunnrun frowned, nervously rubbing her wrist. “...uhm…actually…c-can I stay here?”

“She’s terrified of that thing.” Cecil leaned over to Luna and quietly nudged her.

The beast gnashed and crushed, its claws cutting and ripping through the brambles and branches Luana had put between itself and its prey. It cared not for the cuts and bruises upon its body, indeed, it seemed as though the bloodshed only made the creature more into a fervor as it grew closer and closer to the Druid.

She could hear a solid thunk from above and could only see a little of what was happening with Ethelred.

“Sir Ethelred!”

The creature's long, spiked tail slammed into Ethelred as he charged at the beast from behind, sending the frozen knight flying from his steed and his horse several feet away. The ice knights lance managed to pierce just the tip of the the drakes neck, but not deep enough to cause any real damage.

Lonan moved next just as its tail was busy whacking Ethelred and its claws and teeth were gnashing at the druid, his blade, coated in clear water slicing through the creatures legs-

“Mngh!”

The beast leaped away from the three, its breath even, but slowed and a bit forced.

Blood poured from a large wound on its front shoulder, numerous branches were lodged in its flesh too, small bits of blood pouring from it.

And then wordlessly, the beast leaped, rolled into a sphere again, and rolled away through the forest.

“I think its toying with us or its going to try and pick us off one by one.” Lonan growled. “As wounded as it is it doesn’t seem like they even bother it. If anything it seems like its enjoying it…”

much later then I said but there we go, a small thing.
Sarvok

Spying? Did she find a troublemaker? Svarok frowned, a bit of anger welling up in her chest as she'd reach for the stone in her pockets...then stopped. Well, wouldn't this be a good time to try out this new holy bolt thing? The goblin likely could take it...probably. She wasn't super sure but if he had the audacity to 'spy' on people, then he should easily be able to handle this.

"I said, STOP." She'd shout, digging her feet into the ground and stopping just long enough to wind back her arm, and giving the Holy Bolt ability a go, lobbing the bolt towards the goblin much like one might throw a baseball. Hopefully it'd be fine. Mostly. She didn't really care if he was or not. She'd get something out of it either way.

“Awh! Hey what the hell was that for you stupid kid!” Kordelia screeched upon having the back of her head assaulted by Aleksiya. “I’ll feed you to my puppies!”

“I see. I had my suspicions, but I thank you for trusting me with that information.” Gilles replied, glancing over to Aleksiya and Kordelia and ignoring the latters outburst. “Your wariness is understandable, madam Aleksiya but I assure you the secret is safe with me. We can find out how to handle everyone else much easier if we’re working together on the matter…but that will be something we can deal with later once everyone is properly safe.”

“Heheh, don’t you worry. Now that I’m here, you humans got nothing to worry about. I won’t let anyone spill any of your delicious blood.”

“...reassuring.” Giles turned his attention back to Argus. “If there’s nothing else, I would like to go ahead and get everyone moving. The sooner we get moving the easier it will be to convince everyone to move.”

“Get off.” Julene gave Akyasha a rough shove as she finished her spiel. “If you think I’m gonna prostrate myself in front of a ‘god’ or whatever the hell she is you’ve got more than a few screws loose, redhead.” She snarled, though she noticeably didn’t move or do anything to the Lily Akyasha had given her.

But really, what could she do?

She could become their servant, sure. She’d get inhuman power and also the ability to help everyone else in the village. But at what cost? Her freedom? She hated the thought. The reason she even did what she did now is because she wanted to be free from this dreary dark world. Could she give that up?

“And how long is ‘years of loyal service?’ A decade? A century? What if I decide I want out after a year?” A brusque reply as she’d eye Giselle’s hand warily. Silence stretched for a few long seconds as Julene went over everything in her head repeatedly.

“Sorry, I can’t do it. I don’t think I can keep a good head about myself bowing my head to you a lot as some meat puppet.” She inhaled a bit sharply. “I don't know much about vampires...just old legends and what my old man and mom used to tell me. They had undying, loyal servants that couldn't even think or do anything without their lords permission. I'll pass on that, but...but why don’t you just make me into what you are. A proper vampire?”
Haaselle

Someone was coordinating them? Well, wouldn't that be rather humorous. Perhaps they were just wanting to open a silk farm? Or maybe they were more akin to livestock? It was a silly idea, but it seemed everyone else agreed that someone was controlling the spiders. All she could really think about was...who cares? It seemed though, they would quickly be proven correct. The yellow clad girl hummed as the malfested started spewing insults at them claiming something about a family, the knives harmlessly deflected with both her tentacles and her telekinesis harmlessly flicking them aside.

She perhaps, felt a little bad now. How sad. How tragic, whoever this poor, poor fool was as a monstrous, ethereal spider formed out of the miasma and promptly assaulted them, Haaselle herself being knocked back several feet by the spectral spider.

"Tsk tsk, and you're sending your family to their deaths." Despite the seriousness of the situation, Haaselle only airily giggled as she'd get back to her feet, a toothy smile visible under her hood. "You must not value your family...what a bad parent, very bad. Don't hate us if they end up on my dinner plate then." That spider thing likely wouldn't be easy for her to deal with. She could get in a few good punches with her telekinesis, but mostly her abilities were entirely physical and she doubted illusions would work too well on it.

She turned swiftly towards Roze and the malfested fae, raising one of her hands and flicking a finger towards the creature, a solid telekinetic blast aimed towards knocking him away from Roze and giving her an opening to bonk finish him off.

“Sorry if I drink any more my girlfriend will kill me so thanks I’ll be going-” Before she could wriggle herself out of Luna’s grip, though, Fio posed much the same question, a quiet glare from the small girl turning Cecil’s attempts at rebuttal and escaping into a quiet whimper. “I-I mean is it really that odd? Everyone’s heard of that lady and her super talented and skilled court mage that can kill an entire group of bandits with just a flick of her wrist.”

That incredibly specific example aside she’d sit herself back down at the bar with a sigh.

“You sure you don’t wanna help, Cecil?” Gunnrun asked. “You know these mountains better than most of us do, ya know?”

“I’m a hunter, but I don’t fancy hunting something that can nibble on a giant hand, thanks.”

"You have my thanks, Luana." Lonan swiftly pivoted to face the beast, sword in hand as Ethelred and Luana intercepted the beast, mere seconds having past before Lonan’s head would have promptly been made into a souvenir for the dragon to take home. The branches Luana had cut down fell to the ground, creating a barrier between the drake and the Harzel knight - but the dragons momentum and strength were only slowed by the fledgling saplings so much.

“Weak.” Its claws sliced through the branches, a flurry of talons shredding them into twigs. “Druid you…are weak. You can not stop-” The last branch would start slowly coiling around its neck, doing as Luana had assumed, immediately going to shred it only for its cursed claws to catch on the wood just long enough for Ethelreds charge to slam into the distracted creature.

The frozen lance bored a hole right into the creature's shoulder, ripping right through its flesh and scales.

“Gahaha…nnnngh, how gloriiooous.” Unfazed, the drake ripped the lance out of its own flesh as it’d tear itself away from both the branches and the group. Despite the severe wound, its movements didn’t seem any slower as it’d leap towards one of the trees, using them as a springboard to move swiftly before landing right next to Luana, the beasts fangs bearing down on her.

It seemed she could slow it down, if she focused. Whatever curse its claws carried seemed to be in direct opposition of her druidic abilities.

“Hmm…not a bad idea, Lucrecia.” Livia responded quietly so as no one would overhear. “But I doubt it’d be that easy. He’s quite suspicious of all three of us as you can likely assume. Do you think you could do it, Polina? You likely have the best chance of the three of us to pull it off.” Livia sipped quietly on a glass of wine, eyes scanning the crowd.

Curiously, some servants were starting to file into the room in greater numbers now despite the lack of any more nobles or nobility attending yet.

“I don’t suppose you saw where our friends from the church went, Lucrecia?” A couple of the nobles attending seemed to be having an argument about something. Lord Havershel seemed to be speaking to a group too, briefly discussing what seemed to be an old piece of clockwork, apparently from an ancient automaton or something that was dredged up from the ocean.

“Eh? I dunno. Only thing i know about demons is how to break their bones.” Lyssa responded with a much too cheery grin for the implied violence.

“D-demons? Its…a demon crest?” The young boy frowned, before pointing a finger at Katheine. “Tch, yeah right! What would you stupid maids know! I bet you’re just playing a dumb prank on me! H-huh!?” Lyssa, completely unfazed by the kids outburst, proceeded to grab him under the arms and lift him.

“Eh, he looks like a cute little puppy like this. Hey, you think I can keep him?”

“H-hey I’m not a pet!” He didn’t try escaping Lyssa’s grasp though.

“So kiddie, where’s your dads private collection?”

“E-eh? Why would I tell you all…?”

“...Beccaaaause I’m mega cute and I’ll do something fun with you if you do?”

The boy seriously looked to be considering this offer before realizing that he was likely just being messed with.

“H-hey what do you take me for! I guess I could…b-but don’t tell dad! We’ll all get in trouble!” He managed to wiggle himself out of Lyssa’s arms, landing on the ground with a wobble and patting down his coat. “C-come on, this way.”
Kaeru & Nyoko

Kaeru's hand met Kaida's, returning the high five with a grin and an energetic jump and a spin.

"You look super cute when ya do by the way." Kaeru responded. "That aside, heys. Kaeru heeeere. Since we didn't get a chance to really meet and all during the briefing thought I'd introduce myself a bit more properly since I'm a newbie. So what ya up to?" Nyoko, on the other hand, did not respond to Kaida with a high five. The cat, instead, seemed rather nonplussed with the whole event. The cat blinked slowly, a small sound of what seemed to be a minor bit of annoyance coming from her, tail swishing idly on the desk.

Nyoko walked over to Emi's keyboard...and proceeded to lay down right on top of it, mewling towards the contractor with wide, beckoning eyes as she'd roll over, exposing her belly to her and stretching and mewling again.

A small thing to note, was that one of her paws was now pressing against the computer monitor.

Nyoko lightly pressed her paw against it, a small electrical spark harmlessly zapping the monitor's frame.

“Yes, it is I! Princess Kordelia. You arrrre…?” Kordelia frowned, observing Argus for a few seconds, a look of recognition soon following. “Ah! I remember. That guy that had the cool undead ship!”

“...undead…ship?”

“Ahaha, yeah you should’ve seen it, human. This guy here had humans and merchants and the holy paladins both running like scared little puppies, ahaha.” Gilles turned his head towards Aleskiya and Argus both, lips pursed.

“I am…not one to pry into the business of others so I will not ask, however…I do believe that it is still beneficial for all of us if we work together. That being said, it would be better to be truthful and explain everything, wouldn't you agree?”

Kordelia was about to say something, so unless the other two wanted her to blab inelegantly about everything they might want to stop her.

Whatever Julene had been expecting, it wasn’t a hug.

“H-ha?! What the hell do you think you’re touching you dumb fake-nun!” She’d shout, though there was no way she could get free of Akyasha’s grasp. The difference in strength was far too different. She also wasn’t expecting such an admission - vampires! Living, sort of breathing, vampires! The entire reason the previous age ended!

Julene was released, face a shade of red and wearing a light glare towards Akyasha as Giselle said her piece.

“Don’t sugarcoat what kind of monsters you are, Giselle.” Julene responded, with a low snarl. “I was right huh, power at the cost of your humanity. The way I see it, your ‘kindness’ is just a manipulation tactic.” She fell silent, glancing at Akyashas hand. If it had been a few hours ago she’d have probably just bombed all three of them. Better that they were killed and not bother anyone but now…?

“I’d be giving up my free will no matter which of you creatures I decide to throw myself in with. Forced to serve you for the rest of my unlife?” She seemed receptive to the idea, currently, but she wasn’t sold entirely just yet.
