Current The Summer heat makes it difficult for me to think straight. Anyone I'm writing with should expect regular delays on my end until the temperature goes down.

Brutrumukk

"Err... not really, now that I think about it."

"You wot?" Brutrumukk asked as the color swiftly drained out of his face.

"I do know there are some spells that allow you to summon a gust of wind which might help in this scenario but err, I don't know any of them."

"No..." Brutrumukk said before looking over the side to see Downfall, or more specifically Bavlorna's Cottage, getting smaller and smaller as the balloon drifted further and further away. "No no no no NO NOOO!" The bugbear gnome exclaimed in anguish as he reached out desperately to his current best chance at turning back to normal. But no amount of reaching could cover the steadily expanding distance between him and the cottage now. Eventually, Brutrumukk slumped down into the balloon's basket with a groan of utter despair at what was without doubt the worst day of his life.
Skobeloff

"Perhaps?" Skobeloff asked with an arch of his brow. After a moment, Skobeloff let out a chuckle and shook his head. "If there's one thing you should know about me, Rudrick, it's that perhaps has no place in anything I'm involved with." The Myndoth Trickster said before turning tail and beginning to walk back the way he came. "You three take care of Coryn." Skobeloff told the others as he departed. "By the time you're done, I'll have Garrock ready to talk."

With that said, Skobeloff made his way back to Heliotrope's clinic. Finding the bearded Warrior still present, the raw-scaled Trickster held off on announcing his presence for a moment as he began to plan his opening moves. He studied his quarry, trying to discern any sort of clue as to how he might convince Garrock to speak with his brother. Or better yet, just skip straight to speaking with his mother.

Skobeloff

"He mentioned this to me during the mission we just came from." Skobeloff said. "While we were making our way to the Treehold to gather reinforcements." Skobeloff decided to leave out the fact that the aforementioned reinforcements were ultimately unnecessary. "As for what he told me. He claimed that doesn't like Topaz very much, he mentioned that Kurkar and Sunglow were close enough that they that they thought to introduce their offspring to one another, and he said that Sunglow is a Semscale elder... Though probably not for very much longer." When Skobeloff spoke that last part, he did so with a notable degree of unease. Due both to the fact that it was likely a sensitive subject for those close to Sunglow and that ascension was a topic he never enjoyed thinking about.
Brutrumukk

As Jub cut the ropes with a single swing and sent the balloon on its way, Brutrumukk let loose a triumphant roar as they made good their escape. "We're away, booyagh! We're away! HA HAAA!" The bugbear gnome then exclaimed jubilantly before looking out and down at the bullywug knights below.

"Come back and face justice!" The swimming knights demanded.

"No!" Was Brutrumukk's simple reply. The bugbear gnome then laughed uproariously as they rose out of earshot of the knights' demands, before settling into the balloon and looking towards Jub.

"Alrighty then, next stop: The 'Ag 'Ut!" Brutrumukk exclaimed before looking around the balloon for a moment and then looking back at Jub. "Don't suppose you know 'ow to fly this thing?" He asked.
@XxFellsingxX, @rush99999, your characters are heading to the next area of the game. However, I would like all of the party to reach the next area at the same time (as doing so is the next milestone for leveling up).

So, unless you two would like me to invent something for Jub and Brutrumukk to do while the rest of the party finishes up Hither, you two may be waiting for a while. ^^"

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Again, if you would like me to come up with something for Jub and Brutrumukk to do, just let me know. ^_^

I'd like something to do while we wait. Maybe we could have Brut and Jub chat in the balloon for the time being, and you could invent something for us to do if we run out of things to say before the rest of the party can catch up.
If you would like any help feel free to ask.
The Huntsman

"That would be 500 gold pieces per arrow." Azul answered the Huntsman's question

"Per arrow?" The Huntsman replied, eyes wide in shock at such an asking price. If a single arrow cost 500 gold, then that would mean he would need to pay 10000 gold for a full quiver! That kind of money would be enough to actually put a dent in the royal treasury! The Huntsman was unsure how these people hoped to stay in business with prices like tha-

"Of course, we can work out a deal if that's too expensive." Azul added before the Huntsman could finish his thought.

Ah. That made sense. The gold cost wasn't meant to be affordable. That wasn't the way the owners of this shop wanted to be paid. The Huntsman had a feeling that if he asked for a deal, he would get much more reasonable terms for the arrows. Even so, he hesitated to ask. With the Huntsman's only experiences with magicians up to this point being the Queen, he wasn't eager to start dealings with more of them.

But even as he thought this, the Huntsman found his eyes drawn again and again to both the arrows and to other things about the shop. While his experiences with the Queen had left him wary of magicians, the Queen had only ever compelled him to service through threats and coercion. These people were actually going to offer him rewards in exchange for whatever it was they wanted. At the very least it wouldn't hurt to hear them out.

"What... what sort of deal did you have in mind?" The Huntsman asked.
Brutrumukk

"The merchants?" Brutrumukk said in response to the reply of the birds. After a moment, the bugbear gnome remembered the two darklings that he had killed earlier. "Oh yeah. The merchants." Just as he was about to try again though, Brutrumukk was suddenly forced to cling onto Jub's shoulder for dear life as the goblin began running fast enough to clear 240 feet in six seconds. "AAAAAAAA!" Brutrumukk hollered until finally the speedy goblin came to a stop at the docks.

After taking a moment to recover from Jub briefly deciding that he was speed, Brutrumukk looked up at the balloon and remembered something from one of his previous outings as the Spirit of the Snoring Stone. "I've seen stuff like this before." Brutrumukk said to Jub before gesturing towards a general area of the ropes tying down the balloon. "Somewhere there should be a sweet spot in the rope work. If we can 'it that spot, we can be off four times faster."

Could Brutrumukk use the help action to give Jub advantage on the investigation check?
