This would be the moment where the underdog team needs to get together and focus their efforts against their common enemy, but their personality and differences makes that hard until the final second where they can work together just long enough to deny defeat.
@KoL

I also added a paragraph with Hibiki's thoughts about Victoire's message. it doesn't change what she's already doing, but Hibiki is now aware of it.
Hibiki

As Hibiki was on her way out to strafe again, she noticed that she had sustained some damage. Not enough to affect her performance, but she had underestimated the Heaven's new forces. "Hmm. I guess that's what I get for being cocky." Hibiki flew further out, roughly ten kilometers this time. She still flew low at Mach 1 in order for the radar to scan everything on the ground around her, picking up troop position as well as any other odd movement. Hibiki detected something that wasn't machine movement near the operating area of the Machina base and alerted them about it. "This is Nova 1 to forward operation, unknown activity in your area. Be advised hostiles will likely be in the area. I'm sending you coordinates now." Hibiki sent the Machina soldiers the location of where she had noticed demon activity before returning to the battle.

While defeating the angels was important to winning this conflict, Hibiki had to remember that this was demon territory, and if she doesn't stop them, then neither the machina nor the angels will win. Not only that but Hibiki had been reckless to assume that the angels lacked the firepower to actually harm Hibiki while piloting the Falken. "Let's see how well they handle the demons then." Hibiki sharply started to rise in elevation, going from one kilometer, then to five, twenty, and eventually thirty kilometers. Frost was building up on her jet but Hibiki wasn't worried; the Falken was durable enough that if needed Hibiki could do atmospheric combat. At this range Hibiki's radar couldn't pick up anything unless someone or something was sent to chase after her. At the crux of Hibiki's ascent she turned back towards the battlefield and primed her TLS. It had a max range of about 20 kilometers, and that was only because that's as far as Hibiki could see with the assistance of targeting machines. Anyone with a sharper eye could easily snipe further. Hibiki needed the range because once she hit 20 kilometers above Seaf and Farris, she fired the TLS around their position, cutting the floor beneath them into the catacbombs below. Hibiki had about ten seconds to do enough damage to the ground they stood on to cause it to collapse, and she had to avoid Farris's crystal barriers as they'd just nullify, or worse reflect Hibiki's laser right back at her.

As Hibiki was carving a hole around the angel's forces she picked up Victoire's telepathic message. This at least confirmed that she was here, and Hibiki would bet that she was the one who must have dropped in near the Machina HQ. Hibiki wasn't sure if Victoire was trying to intimidate them or trying to give them a sporting chance when she mentioned that she had full control over the graveyard. Knowing her, Hibiki suspected both. All the more reason Hibiki needed to drop these angels into the catacombs: if they got the same message then they need to hurry and deal with the demons. Looking over at all the destruction around the graveyard, Hibiki knew she needed to focus her attention elsewhere too.

I'll try to get a post up tomorrow.

Yukari | Ezra | JoJo

After going through the obstacle course Yukari went to get a drink of water. It was a nice warm up and she was eager to try something more challenging. She wanted to test the gadgets out against a real enemy. Robots were possible, but most villains had quirks that made each one unique to fight against. Walking around the class Yukari tried to listen for people who seemed interested in fighting. Perhaps, if she really had to, she cold ask Jojo for a spar. Yukari didn’t want to impose on her, but she had to find some way to make it up to her for the accident back at the classroom, even if she had to beat her up for it. Which now that Yukari thought about it, seemed very stupid.

JoJo went off walking around looking at the random bolt of electricity surging between her fingertips before submerging beneath her skin wrapped around the rest of her body. She sighed and continued to shuffle along trying to find some batteries to charge or something to take the small surplus of energy off her hands. The idea to use the practice machines in the obstacle as a means to an end backfired on her tremendously as the robots didn’t put up much of a fight, leaving JoJo with double the electro kinetic output than before putting the girl at an even ten percent of maximum. At this point, the surge of random spurts could be seen forming around her head like a halo that faded away after a moment only to reappear just as bright as before. JoJo was getting more and more irritated as the day went on which just wasn’t cool and to top it all off because of the light effects her body gives off coupled with the fact she was a walking shortage waiting to happen garnered her some very unwanted attention. That’s when the thought struck her to have a sparring match against a classmate, they were sure to be tougher than robots and might even let her sort herself out.

Ezra had already tried out some of the equipment once he had gotten to the gym. He’d had experience with guns despite Japan’s laws through friends, and whilst it wasn’t necessarily legal, it was certainly fun. Guns weren’t his strong suit however, and he found a more prevalent liking for the grenades and the melee weapons. He’d never bothered to train with one but he felt confident at using a sword due to the practice that he’d had with knives, especially a useful weapon during the street brawls he used to partake in.

He wanted to have a go at using a bladed weapon and having more fun with the grenades, but the majority of people seemed to be occupied. It was at this moment that he had noticed a girl looking around seamlessly, yet she didn’t seem to have any idea what was around her. He didn’t really know what was going on in this regard, but she seemed as if she was searching for someone. Figuring that he could perhaps find someone to spar through this, he figured he’d help her out.

“Yo. Are ya lookin’ for someone or ya just nervous?” he spoke, his heavy accent showing a large usage of slang. He looked at her, but it seemed as if she wasn’t looking back in a sense, and he couldn’t quite figure it out.

Turning towards a boy’s voice, Yukari felt like she heard it before. She assumed he was in her class and she just didn’t remember his name. ”Oh, hello! I am looking for someone actually. I wanted to try using some of these gadgets on someone. I only kinda know how they work, but I want to see how well I can use them against someone who’s actually fighting back.” Yukari looked towards Ezra eagerly though she was off a few inches and staring at the wall far behind him. ”Would you might training with me? If it’s not too much trouble anyways.”

Ezra looked back surprised. She had the same intention as him? It was odd to him in a way, because she looked to be somewhat helpless, but he couldn’t quite figure it out. She definitely wasn’t an inexperienced fighter, at least as far as he could gauge. He quickly came to the conclusion that she was blind after looking into her eyes properly, and seeing that her line of vision was skewed somewhat away from him. He figured this would be an interesting opportunity.

“If you’re lookin’ to spar, I’ll take ya on. I’m gonna go all out though, aight?” he spoke with an excitement as he cracked his knuckles in preparation. He’d never fought a blind girl before, he felt like a bully trying to beat up cripples but at the same time, he figured that to be accepted, and so confident in your ability, that you must be able to overcome the weakness that she had. Perhaps she had made it into a strength.

Yukari nodded her head eagerly. She appreciated this person’s enthusiasm. ”My name is Yukari Yozakura! You can just call me Yukari though. I have a room ready for us to use. It’ll simulate an urban environment, like alleyways and rooftops. If you need to get any gear I’ll wait for you over there!” Yukari turned to head back to her training room, running and falling into a sign that said “Watch where you’re going”. After getting up Yukari headed straight towards her training room.

Ezra hid his laughter as she tripped into the sign, but he figured that this girl must have been capable enough, even if she wasn’t proving his point at that time. Yukari. He’d remember it. He’d have to introduce himself in the training exercise as he headed over and got the equipment that he desired. A mixture of items, but mostly containing different types of throwables and grenades, but also a few combat knives, a sword and a few other throwable bladed weapons.

Before long, Ezra found himself in the room, face to face with Yukari. He figured he’d introduce himself before the fight had begun.

Joann turned around thinking the boy was walking to her and discovered he was actually speaking to Yukari. Placing her hands on her hips, she leaned back and watched to two have a conversation about fighting, that was a surprise, she didn’t know Yukari was the fighting type being so careful and all on top of everything she knew she was blind and honestly didn’t think the girl could fight. Well, she hadn’t found an opposite, but this would be interesting, if nothing else she’d get to see Yuka fight and the fact JoJo was a little protective of her being that she helped her get here and now felt responsible spurred her into motion. Hands in her pockets and very deep lean in her back JoJo shuffled behind the two none chillingly at a very large distance, just close enough she could catch a glimpse at where they were headed.

“This should be interesting, ” she thought to herself reaching up instinctively to straighten her nonexistent hat.

“I’m Ezra Jasekade. Just call me Ezra, no need to worry about honorifics. I’m not going to hold back, but if you want to try something in particular and need me to ease up, I’ll do so considering it’s a training exercise to test new things. If we wanna stop, just tap out.” he spoke as he nodded his head toward her with a grin. Even though he wanted to fight her, he didn’t want to kick the shit out of a blind girl to have her get extremely hurt from it.

“Let’s begin.”

Yukari and Ezra would be fighting in a fairly narrow area, with only ten feet of space between one wall to the other. There were a few handholds and ledges sticking out of the walls around them in case they needed to climb up. Yukari certainly intended to take advantage of them. The pillars were only twenty feet tall, easy for Yukari to climb but she wasn’t sure how well Ezra could climb. She also doesn’t know what sort of equipment he had either, and she couldn’t tell from just looking. So while Yukari had the advantage of choosing the place to fight, she still didn’t know enough about Ezra to think she’ll have it easy. ”That’s fine, it’s just like a real fight.”

Tugging the gauntlets over her hands Yukari turned towards Ezra with a smile. ”Thank you again for accepting my challenge, Ezra. I set an alarm to go off five minutes after I give a signal to end the fight. It’s just training after all.” Snapping the hoops onto her upper arms and adjusting the scarf around her shoulders Yukari took a deep breath and go into a stance. It looked like a boxing stance, with her arms tucked in and her head pointed forward. She closed her eyes to hone her sense as she shouted out.

”Battle on!”

Yukari opened her attack by loosening two of the hoops from her arms and flinging them towards Ezra. Despite being blind she was able to tell where exactly he was as both the hoops zeroed in on different parts of his body. One was flung towards his eyes while another went from his left leg. If the hoops struck Ezra they would expand, wrap around his body, and tighten together.

Ezra had let out a cheeky grin the moment she had engaged the fight. Both rings had been within his field of vision, and he had no idea what they were capable of, but he figured he’d get to use the first of his items immediately. He’d already had it within his grip as he was going to use it as an opener. He undid the pin as the hoops grew closer and closer and smashed a smoke grenade into the ground as he quickly made a move to dodge. The hoops were thrown well but as they were a distance apart and full visibility was present as they were thrown, it was an easy sidestep for someone who was used to dodging glass bottles and rocks.

As the smoke field grew, Ezra kept his movements as slow and minimal as possible, hoping the sound of the emission would lead the blind girl elsewhere. He slowly unsheathed his knife and spun it in his hands as quietly as possible before waiting to see her next move.

Yukari charged towards Ezra just as he popped the smoke grenade. The sound of the smoke, followed by the smell, messed with her senses a bit but she knew that he was trying to hide his position. But in these narrow corridors there was only so many places he could be. And while the smell and noise was messing with Yukari’s senses, she still had a vague idea of where Ezra was at, while he wouldn’t be able to see, hear, or smell her.

While hidden in the smoke Yukari climbed up the wall, going ten feet high. Grabbing onto a handhold Yukari then grasped her capturing cloth and whipped it wide across the alleyway towards Ezra’s head. Surely he wouldn't expect an attack from above.

JoJo’s eyes widened as she observed the fight more impressed with Yuka than anything else; it would appear even being blind, she could use her other senses to locate or at the very least approximate an enemy’s location. The lean in her back slowly began to get less and less apparent, so she could see how the fight unfolded even more. It would appear her quirk was something akin to a rubber band, being able to stretch her limbs and snap them back into shape a very versatile ability indeed making her able to dodge things most people couldn’t.

Ezra had been so focused on maintaining a low profile that he’d failed to realize the sound of footsteps was Yukari climbing, and he’d failed to anticipate an aerial assault. As he saw the string of cloth move toward his face, he ducked, leaving it to connect with his shoulder as it wrapped around the joint between his arm and shoulder. Ezra had no response to this, although the shock factor of the sudden attack had set in, it was quickly replaced with a malicious smile.

Whilst she’d managed to attach to him, she had failed to realize that Ezra’s strong suit was his strength, and attaching yourself via a very strong material was a foolish mistake unless she wished to ditch the item. He grabbed the cloth and with all his strength, swung it toward the ground, using his quirk to accelerate the rate at which it did this enhancing further the force behind it.

Pulling the cloth taut Yukari nearly cried in joy as she had managed to hit Ezra. But she wasn’t able to get a cheer out when she felt the clothing being forcefully pulled towards the ground. She had expected Ezra to pull against her, but he was much stronger than he looked and forced Yukari to the ground. ”Oofph! Not bad! But not enough!” Yukari landed on her feet just fine and utilized the forceful pull to close the distance between the two of them. So the moment she landed on the ground she would be just barely out of the smoke cloud. That’s when Yukari tossed the other end of the capturing cloth at Ezra, now with much more accuracy since he was pulling on one end of it. Yukari had the cloth retract towards her as she tossed the other end to get Ezra off balance too, so he couldn’t just dodge out of the way.

Ezra was surprised that the girl was able to land on her feet as he had yanked the cloth to the floor. He was even more surprised to learn about her reckless assault into him as she threw the other end of the cloth, which had connected with his other arm, as she had begun to pull the other cloth. He saw zero chance of dodging,, so he let it happen. It wasn’t an ideal situation for him, and his movement had become restricted, but he had specialized in close quarters combat, and he was definitely stronger than her by a large margin, so it wasn’t as restrictive as she likely thought.

He figured he’d use this to his advantage as he began his advance, knife still in hand. He figured the material must have been pretty durable given as it hadn’t tore when he had pulled it. So he figured he’d go to tradition, the tool that had taken Jett out. He began pulling on both ends of the cloth, hoping to bring her within headbutt range as he let out another grin. She was proving to be more challenging than he had expected.

By this time JoJo was standing upright with her arms crossed, looking at the battle with a smirk on her face impressed by both of them, maybe this school would present a challenge to the bored girl after all. Now she is actually itching to fight someone her muscles tensed up and relaxed repeatedly building and releasing more energy that circulated throughout her body, causing her hair to lift upward slightly as if a gentle breeze was flowing through it when it was actually pure static.

“Should I cheer for her?” she wondered “Nah, that’s not a main character thing to do.”

Feeling another tug Yukari grinned as she captured Ezra. This was working better than expected. But just like before it was too early to celebrate. Ezra started pulling Yukari towards him. She tried to pull back but when she noticed her arms stretching she knew that Ezra could out muscle her. ”I can’t overpower him, I’ll have to take him headon!” Holding tightly onto the cloth Yukari had both ends retract as they slingshotted Yukari directly towards Ezra. They would meet head-to-head, literally, as Yukari aimed her skull right towards his chin.

When they both crashed together something else happened. Yukari still had six more hoops on her arms, and when she tumbled into Ezra they all went off. Before either of them could realize what was happening the hoops expanded and stabbed around their bodies. Yukari was too close to avoid being captured as well. Once they both hit the ground, they were stuck together by six large metal bands around their arms and torsos. Yukari and Ezra were chest-to-chest, with their heads right next to each other.

JoJo was completely into this fight, way more than she should have been though she continued to look onward stonily not wanting to break her own character. Just as the climax looked like it was about to erupt something rather unexpected happened, tangling Yuna and the boy up together chest to chest, it seemed that she wasn’t the only one whose get accidentally violated by the pink haired girl today, causing a light chuckle to escape her lips. JoJo shook her head and began to walk to the entrance to the Colosseum, it was quite clear the fight was over now, she didn’t think Yuna had the fighting spirit to continue after something embarrassing happened.

“Oh bother.”

”Huh?”

Yukari tried to get out, but these bands were tighter than she had expected. She underestimated these things; normally she could squeeze through anything but these bands had a tight grip on her body. Not to mention she was pressed against Ezra. She could feel his body heat against her chest, and even feel his heartbeat through her breasts. Yukari’s face grew cherry red as she let out a soft, awkward squel.

Ezra noticed that her arms stretched as he pulled her, but he noted quickly that she used the momentum to fly straight into him headfirst. This girl was crazy in combat and he liked that type of confidence, and he had figured out her quirk in essence. It wasn’t long before they had crashed into each other however, but something that had completely had taken him off guard was when the rings around her arm had expanded.

Within seconds, the situation had gotten far more awkward. Ezra had never really experienced female contact in that sort of way before, and whilst he wasn’t particularly bothered or embarrassed by it, she clearly was. She even let out a low squeal as they stayed connected for a few seconds.

“Are ya alright? We can call it off and sort this out since ya seem really bothered by this. Hold on.” he spoke in a reassuring tone as he tried to wrestle his arms free from the rings to no avail.

“These are yours. Any idea how to get em off?” He spoke, trying to keep a low, relaxed tone in order to not startle the woman he was stuck to. Her breasts squished into him and it slightly embarrassed him, although he didn’t necessarily blush. She wasn’t exactly the most voluptuous frame but curves became obvious when she was pressed so tightly against him.

”Um… We need a magnetic key. That… I didn’t get.” Yukari’s face grew even more red as she realized just what sort of a predicament they were in. She did not expect this to happen at all. She wasn’t really sure what she should do. She felt that maybe if she could squirm around some more, she might be able to get loose. But she worried that if she did these bands would just get tighter and make things more difficult for themselves. ”We need to get up, somehow. Can you bend your knees?” While Yukari was stuck to Ezra, she could still manipulate her arms and legs just fine. Stretching them further out of the bonds, she slowly started pushing the two up and onto their feet.

Ezra wanted to respond to her comment, but he couldn’t. His legs had been locked by one of the hoops that had surrounded them. He shook his head at the girls comment before looking at the girl's face due to the awkward position that they were in. He’d consciously been aware of his breathing and this made it exceptionally awkward for him. He had a look at her face and to him, she was exceptionally attractive, at least as much so as Kaida, if not more, but perhaps it was the situation that was making this so. He was so confused as to why the fuck he was thinking a blind girl he was supposed to be fighting in such a way.

“I can’t move my legs. There’s another hoop around em’. I’m sorry about this, it was kinda my bad. I shouldn’t have pulled ya in like that.” he spoke somewhat apologetically, realizing that this situation was much more awkward than he wanted it to be as he blushed slightly as he found himself realizing that this was a lot weirder than he wanted it to be.

”It’s, fine!” Yukari said as she tried to get the two of them standing. She at least managed to push herself off the ground, but trying to lift Ezra up too was harder than it looked. He was effectively dead weight even though he was trying to help. ”It’s fine. This was practice after all, this was bound to happen eventually.” Eventually Yukari managed to get the both of them on their feet, but only Yukari could really move thanks to her quirk. And again, without help from Ezra Yukari couldn’t go far.

”Ugh. We got to loosen these things somehow. Do you have any other gadgets on you that might help?”

“Oh bother.” JoJo’s voice rang out as she appeared behind the two with her hands firmly lodged in her pockets in her signature lean walk. She continued to walk towards to two who were currently being held together by a gadget that was made for people like Yukari in mind much to her dismay. “And here I thought I’d be the only one ‘assaulted’ by you today.” She said in a more sarcastic tone the extra bit or electrical energy was having an adverse effect on her personality. “Well, it looks like you two need some help, maybe this trinket would solve the issue.”’ JoJo explained, holding up the magnetic key to release the two.

Yukari’s ears perked up when she heard Jojo’s voice approaching. She was happy to know Jojo was here to help. But Yukari was also horrible aghast because Jojo found Yukari in such a compromising position. ”Jojo-san! I-It’s not what it looks like! We were just sparring each other and things just got heated, and well I came onto Ezra-san and we got tangled up like this…” Yukari tried to explain the situation, albeit poorly. Her face grew red and her body turned hot as she was practically dying of embarrassment. If it got any worse she could probably melt out of these hoops. Yukari spoke in a rather hushed and quiet voice as she tried to hide herself. ”... Please help us.”

Ezra was going to devise a plan for them to escape when he had heard the voice of another student. This was bad. The way that the situation looked, it seemed as if he had trapped the girl and was forcing her to do this to him. It was especially bad because she was blind. He already had a repertoire of a being a dirty fighter and dishonorable, and the fact that he was in this situation was not helping. It was his first day for fucks sake. He was flustered for the first time in maybe 10 years.

“We were sparring, and she had these weird ring things. It’s not what it looks like, I promise you.” he spoke as he looked away from the new arrival, genuinely embarrassed about how he got like this as he continued to feel the girl's breasts press against him. It genuinely did not help his situation and if he his body were to react to this, he would be in deep shit. He was just glad that it was too awkward for that to happen.

JoJo held up her hand, motioning for them to stop explaining, seeing as how her joke was taken literally. “I was watching the fight Yuka, no need to speak to me like a lover who was caught red handed.” Joann said using the magnetic key to release the two from their awkward predicament, it was a nifty piece of equipment that seemed to specialize in the capture of very flexible villains. Kicking the entrapment gadget away to ensure no one was locked up again JoJo rolled her shoulders around to pop them. “Though it's out of character, watching your fight got me a little restless and I still need to get rid of this energy I’ve collected, what I’m saying is either one of you two want to go at it?” JoJo asked plainly.

Rolling off of Ezra, Yukari quickly got to her feet and started to bow at Jojo repeatedly. ”Thank you thank you thank you! I’m so sorry I have to keep causing you trouble, Jojo-san. Please let me make it up to you! I’ll challenge you!” Yukari said with gratefulness confidence. Before their little accident Yukari thought she was actually doing quite well. She hoped to try and prove herself again, perhaps this time without any silly gadgets.
Hibiki

Hibiki left the front-line fight to the other Machina warriors. Hibiki had her own plans to take out key-figures leading the demon and heaven armies. That being said, Hibiki had only a bit of intel on the demonic forces stationed here. With Henry tenuously on their side he wasn't an immediate threat to the Machina either. She lacked the same information about Heaven's forces and suspects that she'll be seeing many new faces, so Hibiki would have to make sure to collect intel as best as she could.

One of the demon soldiers Hibiki knew was here was Victoire; she hasn't been seen in quite some time and it would be in her interest to take control of all the ancient and powerful warriors who once resided here. Not to mention the fact that the demons were defending this heavily fortified area would be perfect for a trapmaster like Victoire. Hence why Hibiki made sure to commission a protective barrier emitter that would withstand the effects of her roses. Having witnessed first hand how Victoire's roses turned the tide of battle, Hibiki made sure to be immune to their effects. Hibiki also would employ a device that would allow her to sneak among the undead known as "Zombie Musk", which effectively makes those with paranormal senses detect Hibiki as nothing more than an undead creature. Of course anyone with a brain could tell she was far to spry and intelligent to be undead, but this would be good enough for the masses of undead and demons who might have a passing awareness of Hibiki.

Another foe who Hibiki was on the look out for was the being known as Ghelgath Fenrir Calder-Berg, an ice based demon. Henry had mentioned him in his report and hasn't seen him in some time either, but from his portfolio Hibiki suspected that this "Lich King" may have an advantage fighting here too. His ice powers, along with the ability to create golems and soldiers from ice and possibly undead, was going to swamp their forces. Hibiki would need to take him out as soon as possible, less he start building his forces and overwhelmed the relatively smaller Machina faction.

And the last that Henry had mentioned was Fran. Hibiki was familiar with her as the demon who tried to offer some sort of an alliance to Shizuka at the Alchemist's Tower. She was a succubus with Illusion powers. Hibiki was rightful wary of such a power, knowing full well that illusions and traps can make for a dead combination. Hopefully Fran would continue to be careless and fool-hardly as previous reports have shown, but even animals can be cunning. However Fran was a low priority threat once her illusions were pierced, and nothing more than a regular demon soldier afterwards.

The name of the game was recon and air superiority. This battleground was far too large for ground forces to wander through aimlessly, and with the chance of undead coming out from the graveyard to attack their allies Hibiki couldn't afford to let their forces get bogged down. To that end she pursued aerial superiority and went back into her ADF-01. However instead of the previous nuclear payload, the ADF was equipped with a radar dish meant to provide live information about the battlefield below. Specifically it would be strong enough to scan and search for any activity below the surface of the battlefield; no doubt there were underground catacombs housing enemy forces. Aside from that the ADF was still equipped with the TLS "Excalibur", missiles, .80 caliber gyrojet rounds, and a rapid assault escape pod, when Hibiki will inevitable be shot down.

Hibiki arrived to the battle some time after most of the Machina forces had already began to engagement with the enemy. Hibiki was going to fly in fast and hot at Mach 2, her systems already locked onto enemy forces: Seaf and his company. She didn't expect heaven's army to employ more modern weapons, but that was not too much of a surprise. Perhaps they were rebellious insurgents from the Machina. Or possibly just intuitive enough to realize that heavy firepower doesn't need to come in the form of magic and Nexus nonsense. Either way when Hibiki was within 5000 meters fired her TSL at them before veering off to do another strafing run, also keeping eyes on Henry's fight with some sort of angel in case she needs to interfere.

@floodtalon@Silvan Haven@Inner Demon
The battle came to an end as quickly as it started, leaving no one but a lone survivor that Orchid was taking care of. He interrogated him about the cultists, but it seemed like this wasn't a cultist but a hired sword. It made sense; no mere cult could've had a that many people in their army. Hundreds perhaps, but not thousands. This actually eased Parum's mind a bit. Perhaps they weren't facing a horde of devout madmen willing to destroy the world for their enlightenment, even if those who helped them facilitated that end. Parum could deal with mercenaries. Walking over to the merc Parum put her viol away, though she still had her rapier out just in case there was more fighting. "If you're not loyal to them, then please tell use everything you can. Now if you could answer my green friend's question, that would be helpful for all of us. If you're a hired blade than do you know who your employer is? You also mentioned a rear guard. Do you happen to know where they're at and what they're doing?" Parum's voice was gentle, compared to Orchid, and she even put a hand on the half-orc's shoulder to wordlessly ask him to lower his weapon, though not to let the man go. While Parum wanted to be diplomatic, she wasn't here to make friends.

Don't worry Hekazu, I'm sure we're all rather busy with our daily lives at the moment. At the very least these hurricanes have certainly made things rather difficult for some of us.

Yukari Yozakura

Thanks to Jojo, Yukari was able to get some headphones to listen to the machines telling her about different equipment. Before Yukari could properly thank her Jojo was gone. ”Ooooh! I really need to do something for her one day.” Yukari pouted as she kept listening to the audio explaining different types of gadgets to her. Yukari wasn’t really interested in weapons like guns or such, considering that she’s never handled anything more deadly than a ten pound weight. She tried her hand at using a whip but she could never really get it to crack like the ringmaster could. There were however other gadgets that were much more up Yukari’s alley. It was a capturing type weapon that used carbon fibers and a special metal alloy to wrap around and ensnare targets. Yukari was actually quite skilled at that because she often used ribbons to do similar things during her performances, though usually it was lighter things like hoops and hats.

Another gadget was actually some hoops. They were a special type of handcuff worn like a bangle but could be snapped across the enemy to bind down on them. She could use it to stick someone’s limb to their body, cuff their hands or feet together, or even stick them to a pole for police pick up. They can be thrown at villains as well as just used to smack against them. Once bound the only way to loosen them is with a special magnetic key that most police forces have. Of course for someone like Yukari, she could easily slip out of them. Other villains might not be able to do the same. "This'll be perfect to buff the bad guys after I beat them."

The last weapon Yukari heard about was actually pretty simple: weighted gauntlets. They were kevlar gloves with metal dust packed under vital parts of the gauntlet, not only protecting the arms but also adding more weight to punches. They were also designed to be able to protect the hands from bladed or spiked weapons which would be very useful to Yukari. "Since I'm not very good with blades, I could use some more protection. I hope they're not too heavy or restrictive though." Yukari wasn’t a very trained fighter, and her “punches” looked like flailing, but if she could add more weight to her strikes then that flailing looks a lot less silly and literally become flails. If they could grow or expand with Yukari’s arms whenever she stretches out, they could be even more useful to her.

Yukari decided to give each of these things a try. The capturing weapons were longer than she thought they’d be and the hoops felt heavy, but at least the gauntlets were comfortable. Heading over to the training room Yukari plugged her headphones into the machine and set a simple practice session with some robots. She wanted to get a hang of the gadgets first before she tried to use them in live combat. "Let's start off simple but challenging. One robot target, but he doesn't fight back. And we'll use an obstacle course too! We'll go with a disaster zone setting. That should be fun!" Once she set up the conditions the sparring room changed into an obstacle course. It looked difficult to maneuver through but for someone like Yukari it was child's play. Unlike back at the classroom Yukari’s senses were in full force this time so she wasn’t about to trip over any bags or debris.

Once Yukari arrived in the training room a single robot target popped up. Yukari needed to practice her equipment against him. Getting to him would be more of a challenge since Yukari set the area to have a lot of obstacles, including tall pillars, holes in the ground, and crumbling structures. But she didn’t miss a step when she ran in and traversed the obstacle course. Her first test was getting up to a pillar twenty feet tall. There was only one ledge five feet high but that was more than enough for Yukari to leap off of it, onto the wall, and then scramble onto the pillar. Next was a series of poles sticking out of the ground and walls that Yukari needed to traverse to get to the otherside or otherwise she’d fall twenty feet to the ground and waste time. She didn’t have any problems with this one either: Jumping towards the first pole sticking out of the ground, Yukari used the momentum of her jump to swing herself to a pole sticking out of the wall and continued jumping from pole to pole until she reached the other side.

The next obstacle was a tricky one. It was a huge gap with a few crumbling pillars Yukari could jump onto. If she wasn’t careful however the pillars would fall and take her with them. And the way some of the pillars fell could also topple over other pillars Yukari tried jumping to. She almost failed here. The first two jumps she had no problems with, but the third jump she put too much force into her landing and caused the pillar to tip prematurely. "Oh no!" When she tried to jump to the next pillar she almost missed and had to hang on by a hand which also caused the pillar to tip over early. Yukari took out the metal hoops and bound the two pillars together to give her just enough time to reach the top of her pillar. She could sense a solid object nearby so Yukari tossed the capturing weapon at it. Just like with her ribbons Yukari whipped the cloth like a dart, and with a flick of her wrist she managed to tie the cloth around the object, saving Yukari from a tall fall.

And now for the final challenge. Yukari’s target was the lone robot sitting deep in a pit and from her position it’d be at least a forty foot drop. Thinking about how to subdue the robot villain, Yukari had an idea. Looping the capturing cloth though one of the hoops but not closing the hoop just yet, Yukari then tied another hoop onto the end of the capturing cloth. The end result was a makeshift lasso which Yukari used to bind the robot by throwing it at him, locking his arm to his body and ensnaring him. Then Yukari took the other hoop and bound it to the pillar she was standing on, leaving just enough room for the capturing cloth to be able to move through freely. After that Yukari just jumped off the pillar while using her weight to pull the cloth and the robot to the top of the pillar, effectively capturing him.

”Twenty seconds! That’s not bad I think. But I could use more practice. Maybe I should try something a bit harder.” Yukari said as she went back to the console to reset the training area and try something tougher. Maybe this time she’ll have the robot fight back or try to escape, perhaps even make it harder for Yukari to chase after him. After all most villains aren’t going to be standing around for Yukari to just nab, Or perhaps instead of robots, she should try to challenge one of the other students? Robots didn’t have quirks and thus had a limited way to react to things, but if she fought someone else they might do something Yukari doesn’t expect. ”Hmm but who would I challenge? I don’t really know anyone here who might want to spar with me..."
