I'm sorry for anyone who was waiting for me. Some real life stuff happened, but for now things seem calm. I'll try to post in my RP's ASAP.

Bypassing the mushrooms the party found themselves in a new predicament; a ceiling full of cave bats. While bats alone aren’t an issue, an entire agitated swarm of them could spell trouble even for their harden warriors. ”Lets just sneak pass here... Please?” Parum said quietly as she tried to sneak around the area as quietly as she could, her rapier our in preparation for the worse case scenario. This situations tend to lean that way.

Sorry for a lack of replies, my past few days have been spent celebrating the holidays with my family. I’ll try to have a post up tonight for Parum and her stealth check.

Yukari Yozakura

When Mako showed up Yukari clenched her fists tightly. She was actually annoyed that the teacher was here as Yukari wanted to vent too. She was tired of being sidelined all the time. She didn’t want to just be some secondrate act. But she also knew she couldn’t just explode right here as much as she wanted to. There was a time and place and she knew better. But she still wanted to, so all she did was spit on the floor in disgust and followed Kaida out.

Anger was on Yukari’s mind as they walked away. Just angry at everything. Angry at herself, and the other students, at villains, and a bunch of other people who doesn’t directly have anything to do with what just happened. Yukari had always had to just keep a stiff upper lip and ignore her own pain and anger, so hearing about that fight, what Jett said, and how Roy reacted, it made Yukari just want to throw away her patience and vent too. She wasn’t sure how long she could keep pretending g everything was fine. When Dulga say her and Kaida down and asked how they were Yukari held nothing back.

”Feels like I’m just a goddamn clown here for everyone else’s amusement. That everything I’ve done amounted to nothing because either it never mattered in the end or someone else does it better. Like I’m just some second fiddle meant to hype up those other motherfuckers and I’m somehow supposed to be happy I even got a part.” Yukari spat out with vitriol and spite. In her anger she slammed her fists against the table and wanted to lash out, but all she could do was snap off a piece of wood from the surface. ”Those idiots playing some dumbass game of misery poker! Like hell it matters who suffered more! I didn’t come here to share sob stories and wallow in how shit life is! I came here to be a hero. So that people stop looking at me like I’m some poor blind girl who needs help and saving.” As she shouted Yukari’s eyes began to tear up. While she said these things she knew she was failing.

”After waking up from the hospital I wanted to use that opportunity to be better. Know where I stood and improve. But dammit… All I can see is that in leagues behind everyone! Jett beat me with household chemicals without even using his quirk! None of us could do anything against Amane before the principle had to step in, and he was going easy! I couldn’t even handle a couple of pickpockets before I got caught up by some crazy samurai who tore out a part of my leg.”

Slowly Yukari started to calm down as she let go of the table and just laid her head down. She knew in the back of her mind the things that she was crying about was her fault too. Because she really was weak and she’s just been lying to herself otherwise. She was so used to being the star attraction at the circus, she was a big fish in a small pond. Now at Komei her speed, agility, and uncanny precision couldn’t even overwhelm a regular physical ability, and that’s before any quirks came into play. And all of Yukari’s weaknesses seemed to only have gotten worse since she got here. ”It’s all backwards… Seems like I’ve only gotten worse since I’ve come to Komei…”

With the last kobold cut down Parum calmed down and looked for more threats. So far doesn't seem like there were any more kobolds, but she was worried if more had ran off to find help. She definitely knew that they had patrols now so everyone needed to be on guard. The kobolds might get the drop on them next time, and Parum wasn't eager to find out what sort of traps they have ready in wait for intruders. She looked around and investigated the area for any more traps or ambushes, not finding much until Brannor pointed out the loose step at the bottom of the stairs and the well-traveled path on the left side. Putting two and two together, she figured what this might've been.

"Mushrooms on the right must be poisonous. Kobolds might be growing them knowing which way is safe, but others won't know. If they spot the kobold trail they might think to go the other way believing it'll be safer with less chances of running into patrols, only to get infected by these strange mushrooms." This was mostly a guess, but she knew that mushrooms and their spores are often the source of some deadly diseases. It wouldn't be a surprise for these wily beasts to exploit that. "Watch out for that last step, I'm sure it's rigged in some way to make a noise or make you go into the poisonous mushrooms." Parum wished she knew some way to disable traps, but alas that wasn't something she learned in bard's college. She waited by the stairs to see who would go first, trying her best to remain hidden as she had before.

I have the information you glean from your investigation at hand. I'm just going to need a Perception check to go with that Investigation before I hand them over.

Perception sounds right to me. What happens with Parum may however affect it.

Sometimes I wonder why I dumped Wisdom, but I have a 13
@Hekazu

If we head towards the mushrooms. Anything around there like in the mushrooms, at the bottom of the steps, or even the steps themselves. Kobolds are tricky creatures and I wouldn’t be surprised if they took advantage of their flying ability to avoid ground based traps like trip wires or pressure plates.
@Hekazu

If we aren’t being pressed forward, Parum would take a moment to investigate the area for any traps or ambushes. 14

That’s more or less what I had in mind. A sniping sister that takes out threats from long range and a close-quarter/melee sister to handle anyone that comes close.
