Deepest Abyss (Conquer the World)

Six dark eyes peered from around a darkened corner, surveying the chaos of fur and bodies colliding. As the smell of fresh blood and gore filled the lagoon, saliva slid from pointed fangs before dripping onto the rocks below. It had been quite some time since the creature had enjoyed a decent meal. A strangled growl escaped from its throat; it knew that now would not be the proper time to enjoy such a feast. For now, it would bide its time until the larger creatures would subdue their captors. There was no reason it would have to do any of the heavy lifting.

The scent of wet musk filled the creatures nostrils moments before hearing a snarl over its right shoulder. As all eight eyes narrowed, its thin red lips stretched into a slow smirk. A hiss escaped its throat before it spoke, the voice shrill. "So...we've come to play, have we, mutt? I do enjoy when my meals are delivered." With no second thought, a thin band of silk shot towards the wolf, wrapping itself tightly around it's limbs. The animal was quickly immobilized as it dropped to the ground. With a high-pitched laugh, the spider turned and scanned her prey. It clicked its tongue along the roof of its mouth as it sauntered over, all legs dancing around its prize. "Such a dumb pup. Should always be aware of who you're trying to sneak up on.."

After another laugh, the creature pounced and began to devour her meal. Anguished howls and whimpers escaped the wolf as it was slaughtered, but soon gave out with one quick nip to the throat. With this being the first fresh meal in what seemed like eons, it did not take long for the creature to finish. Sated, however, it was not. A long tongue swept out and cleaned the blood from its face before turning back to the group from before.

It would do no good for them to know all of its secrets. With a tilt of its head, the spider transformed itself. In its place stood a five-foot two-inch Asian beauty. Red silk draped across her long black hair, and a traditional crimson red kimono clung to her curvaceous figure. Her dark eyes continued to watch the group as she quietly made her way closer, her bare feet barely making a sound against the floor of the lagoon. Wasn't long until she found a hiding place behind a large boulder, her eyes never leaving the crowd. She would wait for the fighting to stop before she made her arrival known.

Kinuko is the weapon. Her eight legs end in razor sharp points, thorns adorn the length of her legs, and jagged teeth fill her mouth. Human flesh is her meal of choice.

• Species Traits:
In human form, she has no special traits in regards to her species. However, once transformed she is able to take on all characteristics of a spider. Not only can she spin webs to ensnare her victims, but she also has the ability to climb over any barrier.

• Special Abilities:
The only true magical ability the spider woman possesses is the ability to shape shift from her spider form into that of a beautiful young Asian woman. This helps to lure in her prey.

• Background:
Kinuko once lived a quiet life surrounded by beautiful waterfalls and lush evergreen. Only those who disturbed her peace became her meal. Nothing was ever personal for her.

That was until she met a weary hiker who knelt next to her waterfall to rest. As she paused to study her feast, she could hear a gentle song flow from his lips. The sound both intrigued and entranced her. She continued to watch the man and noticed how delicately he treated the land around him. It was then she decided to approach him in her human form. A budding romance soon formed. The man continued to visit her once a week, laying with her and whispering sweet promises.

Several months into their courtship, Kinuko decided to show him her most hidden secret. He did not seem frightened, nor was he put off by her situation. He did however start to miss several of their visits. Her curiosity got the best of her one day; she followed him back to his home. She soon came upon him in a drunken stupor in a local pub, bragging how he tamed the town's mysterious monster. From that moment on, all she saw was red. Kinuko made her way into the pub in her human form and caught her lover by surprise. With a sickening grin, her form quickly changed and the pub soon became full of half-eaten bodies and deafening screams.

News traveled fast of her attack. Did not take long for the local villagers to find a way to trap her, imprisoning her in the Abyss for her crimes. Her hatred for mankind continued to grow- if she was to be seen as nothing but a monster, then that was exactly what she would give them. The empty pit within her gut had been empty for a long time. Only the flesh of humans could sate her hunger. Kinuko does not care about ruling. Her only need is to kill and feed off as many as possible.

Biography

Tasma was born on 22 April 2001 in Gympie, Queensland, Austrailia to single mother and archaeologist Matilda Jones. The young girl routinely occupied her mother on digs where her passion for medicine stemmed. She was determined to help heal people before they ended up as only bones in the soil. In high school, Tas joined track and became fully involved with the relay team, eventually earning a scholarship to USC, the University of the Sunshine Coast where she studies nursing.

Tas didn't really know her father until she turned eighteen. It was on her birthday that she was contacted by Jeremy Huntsworth, a curator for the Oakland Museum of California. He had offered an open invitation for his daughter to visit at anytime. It wasn't until last month that she had finally accepted. After a successful meeting, Tasma boarded the plane back home to school.
