Hey @Kho, what rules/requirements would there be to upgrade existing Holy Sites? Like, adding more Might into a Holy Site to gain more Might per turn. The only mentions of "upgrading" is if a Holy Site is destroyed and more might spent on repairing would create more Might per turn.
Remember that Reathos is kinda big on the rules and stuff. Once it lived 15 years it has to die in his eyes. Hero or not, doesn't matter. Ants live up to 15 years. Toby's an ant. A special one but still an ant. If he's protected by gods that's too bad for the gods. (So yeah...he's gonna make enemies fast)
How exactly is Reathos going to enforce this? Sure, he's a god, but is he really going to spend every single second of his life reaping the lives of every single being? That sounds a little hard to believe even for gods to do.
The Mother Goddess, Angel of Light, She Who Shines Level 2
Niciel was reprimanded once again by Julkolfyr, but this time Niciel felt no regret by her actions. She had done what she had to before the quarreling between everyone could have gotten too far. Fortunately, things began to calm down, and everyone went their separate ways. Relieved to see everyone no longer fighting as horribly anymore, Niciel returned her form back to normal appearance, a long flowing dress and 2 wings instead of 6. There was no longer a need for that form for now, anyway.
Then, there came the event that began everything. Fate and Amul'Sharar had taken the Codex of Creation and acted upon it. The resulting outcome was extraordinary. Before Niciel knew it, she found herself with the other beings around a barren and lifeless planet. Niciel looked around further, and found a large, blazing star. Returning her attention to the planet, Niciel was pleased to see the others working in harmony to make the planet beautiful. She herself had also gone down to the surface to observe the events that were taking place. A large of body of water was formed by Jvan, as well as a forest full of life by Slough. Even Vestec's Shattered Plains were... interesting, in their own way.
Niciel wished to make everyone's creations even more wonderful and beautiful, but she knew that that wasn't what everyone wanted, nor was it her place to do so. Instead, she moved to claim a location of her own. Niciel found a location that had yet to be touched by the gods' powers, and used her power to raise the earth, creating a large mountain range. The earth rose bit by bit, until it finally looped back to its starting point and formed a circle. Finally, Niciel covered the entire mountain range with her power, creating a pink-and-yellow mist that partially shrouded the mountains and kept the the area in a state of peace and tranquility. Niciel rose up into the sky to observe her creation. It was far from perfect, or even finished, but to her, it was beautiful.
-Niciel takes no offense from Julkolfyr.
-Niciel experiences the Shattering Disunity, and witnesses the efforts everyone makes on Galbar.
-Niciel moves on to create her own creation on the planet, creating a Holy Site using 4 Might.
Leander hadn't quite expected the damage to hurt so much. Through his pained grimace and his strong breathing to try to control the pain, though, he grinned. The experience he just went through was too unbelievably amazing to not grin at. Leander tried to get back on his feet, but the pain forced him back down onto his knees. Leander did perk up when a conversation sparked between Vincent and the mysterious lady, making him raise his head to look at the two of them. Leander had no experience in Xyz Summoning, but he was also curious about Rank-Up Xyz Summoning. After all, with such a powerful monster that had attacked him, how could he not be interested?
Unfortunately, it didn't seem like the lady was willing to divulge her secrets on the matter. Disappointed, Leander was about to drop his head back down when the lady began to talk about the two of them. Leander was a bit confused about everything, but he did understand enough to catch the parts about others with powers like her, and how she expressed Leander's good and bad points about him and his style of Dueling. It seemed like the conversation was drawing to a close, though, so Leander had to ask a question.
"Who are you?" Leander asked. Leander knew that the question probably wouldn't be answered, but it couldn't hurt to try.
@MardoxWell yes, Reathos is quite a bit more powerful than any undead creature could be. But as you say...that's a lot of work for one god who has important matters like the pool to attend to.
Let's be honest, not even a god by itself can handle every single little thing on an entire planet. I mean, look at Hades, Greek God of the Underworld. He's got subordinates and stuff, and things still get out of hand.
