Ivy Jade Riverstone - “I have always had a slight interest in the arcane. Ivy’s aptitude with the art is a pleasure to see in action, for sure. I am, however, deterred by the notion that she doesn’t feel sympathetic towards my curiosity.”

Varos Sulan - “Dragons are creatures of pride and greed. Often they let those traits supersede their behavior towards others, but Varos seems to know some semblance of restraint. That will serve him well, if he can hold on to it.”

Ashley Jens - “Ash’s culinary skills give him the opportunity to act as a beneficial figure to a plethora of other species. I can respect that, even though I wouldn’t eat most of what he cooks myself.”

Haka-Mesuka - “Lycan tribalism often breeds a ‘fight over flight’ mentality in packs such as the Haka. Mesuka’s adamance will definitely be put to the test in such a diverse place as this. Which will benefit her, I hope.”

Katarina Elza - “Katarina’s competitiveness seems to be common in many different creatures. Speaking candidly, I wouldn’t be surprised if she ends up being the cause of any property damage to the university.”

Raven Magnus - “I could describe Raven’s positivity to be… infectious, almost. I suppose it’s really not worth arguing with him when he proposes an activity. Including painting my talons, which I still fail to find any merit in.”

Mortem - “I have a feeling Mortem doesn’t approve of my propensity to not ‘face any challenges’, as he might put it. I would have to remind him that I am not the sort for athletics or swordplay, though that may be difficult.”

Griffin - “Griffin’s lax nature sits well enough with me. I am, however, not one for his ‘remedial activities’, but I won’t argue with him about his method of putting himself at ease. After all, I doubt few can relate to his predicament.”

Omawnakw Ahanu Minninnewah - “I’ve been taught to appreciate powerful individuals with good hearts. Om is one such example, and I believe the world at large could benefit from more like him. Perhaps not as ‘touchy-feely’, however.”

Lola Dague - “I am… perplexed, by Lola. How anyone can overcome her rather downputting nature in order to be considered her friend. Perhaps we simply aren’t able to interact with one another on a purely positive note.”

Leonard Brand - “Leonard’s straightforwardness is somewhat off-putting, but I cannot deny it serves to see him triumph in most disputes. That being said, I wouldn’t wish to put myself in a negative light by him.”

@Conscripts Hey man, I'm not looking to downplay Mortem, because I always appreciate a good skeleton, but I think you should revise his age some. If he's 129, there's no way he'd have been around during the Middle Ages. He'd have to be closer to 1,000 or so, to be in the thick of it.

@Rhiannon Huh. Okay. So if money and student status aren't really factors then, what's the in-setting process by which moderate, luxury, and premium rooms are doled out?

@Rhiannon I mean, not all of the characters are wealthy enough to afford premium, right? I was thinking it'd just be reliant on the sum of the wealth of each pair. Like if one student is rich and the other's comparitively poor, they could get a better room anyway on the richer student's expense, but two poors just get a standard room.

Just my two cents, at least.

@Rhiannon I, too, added a bit of backstory to Ethra to cement her as being part of an actual species. Added a natural ability too, but it's up to your jurisdiction if it stays or not.
