“Well, well...it seems as though we all have something to hide. Just how can we trust one another if we all have secrets to keep under wraps?” Ventus remarks, rather unimpressed with the effort that has been put forth thus far from the Trained. So far, the Revolutioneers have claimed multiple victories against them. It was no wonder he had chosen to remain as a presence amongst the Scattered. He wasn’t even sure if the Trained that stood before him even had a strategy laid out, for they seemed to be rolling with the punches for the time being. Of course, the Revolutioneers aren’t without their flaws either. Those that aren’t loyal to their cause at first immediately have their minds made up through the infliction of brute force and utter cruelty. Ventus just didn’t see the purpose in fighting.
Unfortunately for Jean, he was too focused on Heat to notice the more immediate threat approaching him from the distance. Once within range, the incoming Staraptor releases a Double Edge upon the Zangoose, the force and momentum of the beatdown strong enough to send him flying into the previous clearing from which he came. The fierce bird lands rather elegantly despite having taken a bit of recoil from that offensive play. He eyes the others for a moment, as if he were gauging their strength. His hard gaze goes soft, a smirk forming along the edge of his beak. “It seems I’ve made it just in time. Isn’t that right, Charon?” He remarks. Before Tatakumei can guess as to who he is speaking to, she might notice the Staraptor’s shadow warping slightly, a piece of it seeming to split off, forming into a large circle beside the bird, allowing a Dusknoir to materialize. “This was just as milord had predicted...his summarization of Heat’s condition was even correct. It seems our friends have clashed without us...what a shame for you, Taka. It appears your idea of peace among our ranks will be even harder to achieve than anticipated.” Charon responds. The pair look over at Aqua and Tatakumei, eyeing them with a rather intense curiosity.
Meanwhile, Aqua is even further surprised to see this duo show up on top of her encounter with Heat. The last she had seen of Taka and Charon, they weren’t even fully evolved. It was good to see that they hadn’t changed much, however. She can still see the hints of Dusclops and Staravia in them. “Woah! You guys have gotten really strong since I’ve last seen you! Just where did you three go anyway? One minute, the six of us were together, having fun. The next, it was just me, Serph, and Sera that had stayed with Ven…” She inquired, lightly drifting down memory lane to that fateful day where their team suddenly split in half, the trio standing before her having left without even saying goodbye.Luckily for the Riolu, it seems that neither Aqua or Heat had noticed her brief flaming experience, too affixiated on the sudden arrival of their comrades. If she is still is taking time to get a read on their auras, something would seem rather...odd. It was if the newcomer’s auras were tainted in some way. In fact, when she went to view the auras of Heat and Aqua once again, she get that same reading from them. It was if their four auras were resonating with one another in an almost seemingly malicious way. Of course, the only one that may be unaware of this force upon them is the innocent Eevee.
Heat’s moment of surprise was short-lived once he gazed upon the two Pokemon that stood before him. In fact, their arrival brought a chuckle out of him, relishing in the fact that everything was going to plan so far. Once his team was united once again under single cause, they would be the ones to pave the road to a brighter future than the Revolutioneers or the Trained could ever hope for. “Now that you’re here, we must simply wait for the signal to return back to base. Of course, once this message is received, we’ll need to leave behind those that we’d be putting in risk with our operation. Tatakumei, I think it’s about time you made a few more friends. I’ll be leaving you here with Aqua. You’ll get along with the Scattered just fine…” He states, deciding to lay back down against the tree, replenishing his strength for the time being. Taka and Charon simply seat themselves nearby, Charon in the shade of the tree and Taka perching himself on a branch.”You can remain with us for the time being or go along with Aqua already. The decision is yours, youngling.” Heat continues. He didn’t mind playing bodyguard for a bit longer, but sooner or later, Tatakumei would have to be moved to a safer location, away from the war they were to wage soon. Sera would probably be very eager to take care of this Riolu. She may even have the capability to nurse her back to perfect health in a very short time span. With these thoughts in mind, the Garchomp closed his eyes, continuing to wait for Vanitas’ somewhat overdue signal to retreat back into the Revolutioneer base of operations.
Vanitas grins, taking delight in Aruba’s sudden surge of rage. The boy never even breaks eye contact with the Lucario, making him seem rather calm and in control of the situation.“This is no trick. The purpose of Tatakumei’s removal from this place is to simply keep her out of harm’s way. She’ll be better off with the Scattered than she would be living in a Revolutioneer cell.” However, before he can respond as to who let her daughter free, his joyful gaze turns hard, almost as if he himself were seething with anger as Aruba mentions Heat in a negative light. “To hear you say that about him is such a shame. He has such faith in you, you know. I mean, if we’re being honest, HE’S the reason your DAUGHTER IS ROAMING FREE RIGHT NOW!” He slams a fist down upon the table, seeming rather offended by the thought that Heat would harm an innocent Pokemon. However, despite this sudden display of anger, Vanitas quickly calms himself, returning back to his collected, cool demeanor. “Now, as for WHO let her out...you’ve heard of the ancient stories regarding this place, haven’t you? There were two major deities- Dialga, the master of time, and Palkia, the master of space. Now, as for the realm between those two bodies, there lies a third deity, one unknown to many Pokemon and humans even to this very day...I wonder if you can piece it together from there..” The boy says, chuckling as if he had just shared a rather funny joke that only he could understand, the laughter seeming mad, almost.
