Celeste has a compact build that boasts a slightly muscular tone. She is often seen in simple yet flowy dresses or a simple solid color top over various a-line skirts. She carries herself with a certain grace and wouldn't be caught dead lazing around in pajamas or tacky clothing. She's not particular about wearing bright colors and her wardrobe mainly consists of neutral tones: blacks, greys, the like; with some muted colors here and there. She has her hair up in pigtails or in a single braid.

Personality:
Celeste is a level-headed person who favors practicality over theories. She's down to earth and does not waste time on wishy-washy aspirations and what-if scenarios. Instead, she breaks up her wishes into attainable goals and achieves them. If its not something within her limits, she won't waste time moping about it.She is very persevering and once she makes up her mind to do something it can be very hard to destroy her determination. Celeste is not open to others and keeps everyone at a distance. She often performs as an observer, taking in everything going around her but not actively being involved in it. She is rather emotionally unavailable, cutting down connections with others at the first of conflict. She can be brutally honest sometimes; often at the cost of hurting the other person.

Backstory:
Growing up in an orphanage, Cel faced the same emotional neglect and hostility that many other children her age did. There was often a constant fight for every physiological and psycho-social need and she often found herself losing these battles. Celeste figured out the hard way that she'd have to stand her ground in a fight to survive amidst the others. Having met Kyuubey spelt out an all time high for Celeste. She finally had her own place, could attend a better education and much more. The healing process could finally begin; and she started becoming more tolerant to being in the company of her peers. She's even the class representative at her new school. Its been a year since then and though the rush Celeste felt initially was all too real ,the magic is starting to slowly wear off. There were things still missing from her life.Though she feels the dreariness of her previous days slowly return, Celeste does her best to keep moving forward. She's not the kind of person to get stuck in a rut or regret decisions.

Wish: I wish to be rich and self-sustaining for the rest of my life.

Skills:
Stamina: Though she isn't a full-blown athlete, Cel has remarkable stamina. She has often seen fights and battles till the end despite some of them getting very long- winded.
Flexible: Her days at the orphanage have made Cel very adaptive to a variety of situations. If she can't work with certain people or rules, she'll work around them.
Analyst: Celeste has a great knack for observing situations and is not quick to make rash decisions. That is not to say that she lacks the ability to think on her feet in the least. She often ponders over the meaning of hints dropped subtly by anyone and is quick to notice if their facial expressions betray their feelings.

Weaknesses:
Cynical/Critical: She is not afraid to give others a piece of her mind and tell exactly what she thinks of them. She is a bit of a skeptic by nature, finding it hard to give anyone the benefit of doubt or believing in anyone's "generally good" intentions.
Stubborn: Once she makes up her mind, she can be foolishly stubborn. Even if proven wrong or silly, it takes arduous efforts to make Cel change her mind. She has rubbed quite a lot of people the wrong way due to her obstinate nature. Only the truly patient can tolerate her when she's being stubborn.

Magical Girl

Appearance and Theme Color: Amethyst


Her soul gem is a flower-shaped brooch on her dress when she transforms. When resting, it acts as a hair pin.
Magical Weapon:Dual blades

Magical Ability:
Floral cover When in danger, she can summon a large amethyst bud that engulfs her whole and turns into a resilient material, impervious to most attacks. The cover can also shield up to 2 others in her immediate proximity.
Gale of petals
When switching from defense to attack, Cel can cause her floral cover to dissipate into several needle-sharp petals that can be deadly to her targets.
Misdirection Cel can summon up to 4 decoy targets at a time. These have 0 offensive power and burst into harmless petals when attacked with a medium-strength attack. They look like her, but lack any personality.

I'm still going through your cs but I'm having a hard time believing your character got breast cancer at such a young age. You could have chosen another carcinoma w/ a juvenile-onset or an autoimmune disease ,either would be more likely...It's very, very rare for young women and you have to be like at least 40-50 before the risk is significant. Even the minimum age in the younger age group is at about loosely 21-25.

I get that this is animu~ verse but I hope this doesnt come across as snobby lol, its just that when I read that part, the pathology student in me fired up like BREAST CANCER AT 18??

The hacker and hypocrisy mix are refreshing in their own sense, however.

Your character is okay save for some very minor things:

1. Can you elaborate a bit more on the fog ability? Its sounds like a cool ability in itself but I'd like to understand it better. Like, how does the fog/vehicles thing work and how you would use it in a fight.

2. You used a 9 out of possible 20 physical stats.
That's completely fine if you intended that. (Just making sure its not a mistake!)

Streim: a small settlement on the outskirts of a metropolis, tucked away by intervening wilderness and forgotten by most of the outside world, save for those looking for a rural retreat from their busy city lives. Its inhabitants live slow lives. There's not much excitement to be found here. But at least there's local tv. And cafes.

Behind the dream-like filter of lazy afternoons and beautiful sunsets, however, brews a darker state of affairs. Numerous female residents have vanished, leaving no trace behind. Suicides have been on the rise. But let's not get into the ugly side of things, shall we? The inhabitants of Streim would rather not discuss such things. Anyone investigating these events is likely to be laughed off as a conspiracy theorist. The people of Streim like to believe that they live in a small bubble of safety, a belief they defend even at a subconscious level.

Still, there are those who know the actuality of things. Who know that when the sun sets, the city reeks of despair and misery. There are those who have devoted themselves to a never-ending battle no short of slavery, in exchange for a miracle. These warriors are magical girls. Then there are those who have lost this battle and wreak havoc on the inhabitants, from behind the curtains of darkness. These lost ones are known as witches: sinister beings that are now nothing more than a shadow of the person they were before. They play with the inherent darkness in humans , tugging at their heartstrings when they're weak, till they lead them astray. The magical girls and witches personify the classical tale of light against dark. But unknown to some girls, with each passing day a battle of extreme proportions comes closer. Walpurgisnacht, the strongest witch, has a desire to transform the world into a stage. This bizarre conglomeration of various witches will wipe the town away in a series of "natural" disasters if not stopped.

As a girl living in Streim, your story starts now. You have a wish,a burning desire that makes everything else look insignificant in front it. You'd go to any lengths just to get this one wish. Soon an opportunity will present itself. A contract with a mysterious creature: Kyubey. Your fate is going to become entangled with magic and the stuff of nightmares ,whether you like it or not. Or perhaps you know this already. Maybe your journey has already begun, and you have amassed your share of battle scars .

Regardless of which chapter you are on, the end draws near. Will you fight together with others like you or use them as stepping stones for your own glory? Will you stand tall in the face of adversity and make through it all, or will you crumble before your own despair, surrendering to your own sorrow and shortcomings? Regardless, darkness will soon engulf everyone. Who remains to see the light at the end of this tunnel, only time will tell.

  • Posting at least once a week is encouraged. 0 activity in either OOC/IC for 2 weeks straight gets you dropped.
  • Wait for atleast 2 others players to post before posting again. If 2 players haven't posted in 2 days, you may post again.

The roleplay

• The roleplay has the same genres as the Puella series: Dark fantasy/Horror/Psychological
• You need not have completed the series to join. If you're not familiar w/ pmmmverse, pm me & I'll gladly bring you up to speed.
• Any magical girl can die. It is very much likely that many will eventually end up dead or as witches.
• Although this is a puella-based rp, going off on tangents is possible.
• There are going to be np-witches throughout the town as well. The specific locations will not be known to the magical girls, however you can make reasonable guesses: eg dingy ol' abandoned places, etc. I have a map in the works for this.

• You can play as a magical girl. If she dies/despairs, you can play her witch or start anew.
• I don't think there are other possible characters that you could play as, but I'm open to suggestions.

(Your character's mental state. Is increased by traumatic events, excessive magic use, and generally very slowly by living.Lowered to a limit by grief seeds.) When your despair hits 40, your character becomes unstable, and ultimately a witch.

Karmic Potential
Will be allotted randomly at the beginning of the rp. A greater karmic potential grants the rper a few extra points to splurge on their OC. On the flipside, a higher karmic potential also means a tougher witch once your magical girl despairs.
