I definitely can get that for you but I would like you to know out of all the things in this world that is one of the least relevant. Your characters can be pretty much anywhere as you will find your people pretty much anywhere the only ones who suffer from this kind of limitation would be vampires.

I'm not that familiar with 5E though, so hopefully I got everything correct.

Anyway, about the backstory...as I mentioned, originally Aelyeth was a character for a 3.5 Eberron campaign that never got started. The idea was that she worshipped the Spirits of the Past and thus was wanting to bind an ancient hero as partner ala Fate's Heroic Spirit, she made a mistake and ended up binding a fiend instead. How much of that would fit for your setting? @ShiroKiyoshi

The spread of demonic miasma. The monsters you see here are extremely mutated and way more dangerous than anything you're normally used to. in addition it does not actually represent the influence of the demon horde on the world it's just the influence of the miasma that comes with them that is distorting the world around you.

You can take the equipment your class gives or take the gold option (which I cannot remember off the top of my head, but usually there is a table for it) and buy what you want/need for it's normal gold value.

Also Yes you can booming blade two handed. The booming two if you will.

Tee-hee you actually look like a vampire. The most notable vampiric race of Aixue typically have females with animal ears and tails. Upon seeing that you don't eat blood. You'd be called Gaian.

TL:DR as to why this is. Before the general race system I use now the vampiric race consisted of different vampire races racial traits: Kitsune were one of these. Traditionally being soul stealers and liking their aesthetics I worked them in as the female counterpart to male Aixues who have animal tails and heads adorned with horns.
