Rosefell Island
Twenty miles off the coast of Washington state is Rosefell Island. The only way to get to the Island is by
ferry or by a
small Cessna. Itβs a private Island that you have to buy shares in. Most of the people who live on the Island are of Native American heritage, while the people who visit the Island are typically wealthier families that own part of the island thanks to their shares. The island is secluded tall, beautiful trees. However, on some parts of the island you can see Seattle in the distance. The current population of Rosefell is: 532.
Mile Walk
The Mile Walk is a small one mine strip of the town that is the main shopping and entertainment area of the island. Due to the heavy influence of Native American culture, there are a lot of local Native American shops. There is a grocery store, two liquor stores, a deli, an ice cream shop, and a few other shops. Every Tuesday the Mile Walk transforms into a Farmers Market type of festivity.
The Tree House
The tree house is a hidden treasure on Rosefell Island. No one knows who built it or who occupied it at one time. It was Andrew, Jared, Lewis, and George who stumbled upon the tree house when they were boys. They showed it tow their kids and tree house has become something of a hide away for the kids. They spend a lot of their summer there together drinking and having late night conversations about life.
The Private Beach
West Point is a private beach on the west side of the island that connects all of the families houses. This stretch of beach is privately owned by the Hollingsworths, the Cabernets, the Franklins, and the Everetts.
The Light House
North Point beach is home to the famous haunted, abandoned light house. Another popular hangout for local teens as well as the wealthy teens. Itβs never been proven to be haunted, but it does take on a creepy aura at night and is a good make-out place for young couples.
The Hollingsworth Residence
Much like the other families, this home belonged to Jared Hollingsworthβs parents. The house was remodeled about fifteen years ago when the house was passed down to Jared. Mrs. Hollingsworth did a lot of the remodeling on the home. The inside of the house is warm, inviting, and gives of that rustic Italian feel. The home is equip with a small horse stable to the front of the property, where _______ horses are kept and cared for in the off season. The Hollingsworth residence is often where the families gather during the summer.
The Franklin Residence
A little bit of L.A. class on the wooded beachfront of Rosefell Island, the Franklin residence are the owners of this modern, stark white vacation home. Itβs on the smaller end of the houses owned by the four families, but doesnβt disappoint. The Franklinβs view of West Point beach is probably the most breath taking of them all. Plus, they are the only house that has a abnormally large jacuzzi, big enough to fit all teen kids at once.
The Everett Residence
This is the Everett home along the beach, for now anyway. From the outside looking in, this house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms along with a rather nice view of the beach and fantastic view of the Light House. Most families and teens don't really go to the Everett's residence because they don't want to be a witness to the arguing of the parents, or see something get repossessed.
The Cabernet Residence
With the Cabernet's being the first family in Rosefell, it's no doubt that there home is a little bit fancier than the others. They have four bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a pool and patio set. They typically throw extravagant parties throughout the summer, for the other families and teens. They're always inviting to just about anyone but that's only to show off their elegant home, which is toured by Rebecca usually.
