"If you didn't finish your food," Mina replied, "That's your fault. If you want, I could take this kid to the nurse's office and you could go back and finish eating. But knowing you, you'd be too preoccupied with class A-2 and that whole situation."

As she walked alongside them, she took a look at the kid's leg. It looked bad, and her icy demeanour thawed a little in sympathy. "Honestly, right now I'd focus more on yourself than the idiots in there. Why did that delinquent girl collapse the table anyway? And don't claim she didn't. I'm not stupid.

You know, it doesn't matter. What's more important is how you feel right now. How do you feel?"

Ezra was blinded by rage for quite a while but by the time he was out of the cafeteria, he had calmed down enough to be able to think rather than act stupidly as he had before. His mind was processing what he had just done before he realized that he may have severely injured somebody on his first day. That was very well cause for expulsion, which was something that he didn’t exactly like the idea of. It simply made him more angry for that group of stupid defective retards to cause this to happen. However, he had heard a voice whilst he was lost in thought, and much to his surprise, a teacher was walking beside him, somehow keeping pace despite his incredibly fast walking.

She had spoken in a voice that was on the border between sweet old grandma and sarcastic arsehole, and he couldn’t quite figure out which she was trying to be in this situation. His instinct told him the prior, but he wanted to believe in the former given the situation he was in, especially if it was a teacher. He knew she was probably going to start some shit, but he just for a second, decided to try and feel at ease.

“Some shit man. I can tell ya, but it’s gonna be long. Ya sure ya got time to listen?” he spoke, taking in huge amounts of air in order to try and relieve his anger and tension. Realistically, he wanted to go to a basketball court, or a gym and just destroy something to take it out, but he couldn’t walk away from what he had already done.

”I have all the time in the world to listen to a student. Especially when they’re explaining themself.” she replied, the sweet tone not wavering for a second. It was really hard to tell if she was mad, or being cheeky, or both. But, that’s what you get with a staff member who was a Supervillain instead of a Hero; They’re not the textbook definition of nice, or responsible.

Her tone kept Ezra at a limbo between ease and unease, and he honestly didn’t quite know how to feel about this woman. He did however recognise her tone, from the training exam. He couldn’t quite remember where he’d heard it though, merely that he knew the voice quite well. His memory was clouded because of his anger, but it definitely clicked. Deciding to keep on walking in case anybody from the cafeteria saw him, he figured he’d begin the explanation.

“It started where we went to go get some grub. Me n’ the sunny boy bought this girl I knocked over on accident some food. Then these right stuck up winged twats came up and we let em sit since one of em’ is in our class. Bunch of arseholes. Anyway, some other group came up to our table askin’ for it. I tell em’ to look elsewhere cause we’re using it, bunch of class b rejects. Then those wankers snap the legs on our table, so I got right pissed since of those angel cunts and the fuckin’ class b losers shattering our table and making me lose my food. So I went over and booted the shite out of their table, and threw a bottle or something. Walked off after that so I don’t know what happened.” he spoke, trying to keep his tone somewhat respectful with the teacher around, but he still couldn’t stop himself swearing. It was just part of his dialect despite how hard he tried to change it.

Mako made no sign of losing her temper, though the smile had gone, the sweetness had left her voice, and her golden eyes were open, looking forward. ”Teenagers losing their temper isn’t unusual. In fact it’s perfectly natural. That’s why I’m not giving you your first Villainous Behavior warning right now. But misbehavior is punished, and doubly so in a school designed to teach you how to be a Hero; An upstanding member of the community, and a role model. You’re going to have to work very hard in that field before you can call yourself a hero. Now, it’s not in my authority to hand out punishments, or discipline students directly, so that’s all I’ll say on the matter, but I do feel it’s my place to be a person to talk to, and a source of advice. I know a lot about misconduct, after all.”

“What do ya mean ya know a lot about misconduct? Ya work here, not a chance ya could have been getting into trouble is there?” he spoke, genuinely dumbfounded. He had gotten into this business without any prior knowledge or understanding of these events, and this situation definitely highlighted that.

Mako was surprised and initially disheartened that somebody either didn’t know who she was, or didn’t recognize her. She wasn’t sure which was worse, and both made her feel old. But she also realised she had an opportunity to surprise him with the truth, and her smile slyly came back.

”Most of the teachers and staff in this academy are, or were, Pro Heroes. I break that trend. My old alter ego was ‘Madame Obsidian’. Thirteen years ago, I was a Supervillain.” she chimed, watching his reaction intently and with glee.

“Oh. That’s cool, I guess. Never heard of a villain working at a school. But given ya knowledge on ‘misconduct’ as ya put it, what should I do here? I definitely injured someone, and on my first day as well. Am I fucked?” he spoke, his tone changing from a spiteful one to more of a neutral, with a hint of dread thrown into the mix.

”I wouldn’t say you’re fucked, no,” replied Mako, using that word in an equally blase fashion to Erza himself. ”Someone else in your class has already received their first Villainous Behaviour warning on day one. You haven’t. You’ll just receive detention or a similar punishment, I think. Of course, I don’t speak for the Headmaster. He could issue you a VB warning if he sees fit, but I trust his judgement not too. Being a bit of a hothead doesn’t make you a bad person, and speaking to you right now, I can tell that you’re good. You should apologize to both the student you hit with a can, and the one you accidentally injured, however, even if you’re not told to. That’s just courtesy.” She gave him another smile, this one encouraging.

Ezra nodded at the woman who was speaking to him. She had listened to his angry and concerned rant, and he hadn’t cared to ask who she was, or her name. The only thing she knew her as at this point was madame obsidian, from the previous explanation of her status. He figured he’d take her council to heart, and apologise tomorrow, or later today, depending on how bad his mood was.
“I’m fairly sure no-one else would have calmed me down like ya did. Thank you. If I knew ya name, I woulda called you that, but I don’t.” he spoke as he swallowed his pride somewhat. Who would have thought a villain could be more reasonable than a hero.

Mako stopped, faced him and offered her hand. ”My name’s Mako Akane. I’m the school’s secretary. You can usually find me at the front desk, and I very occasionally take Hero classes”

Ezra took the hand with a strong handshake, letting out a small laugh. It was actually surprising that her grip matched his own. He’d also never seen a woman be so straight up and act without any sort of bullshit attached, so he was rather taken aback, but he figured that answering straight up would do him well.
“Ezra Jasekade. I’m in A1. Thanks again.” Ezra spoke as he began walking once more.

“I’m going to apologize after the staff give me an earful. I don’t wanna show up back to the cafeteria an’ cause them to get shook thinking I might lash out again. That’d be very inconsiderate. I’ll see ya later then, Miss Mako.” he spoke as he figured he’d chill outside until a staff either reprimanded him or the lunch bell rang, in which case he’d return to class.

Mako nodded, and took a step back, indicating that this conversation had reached it’s natural conclusion. ”I’m sure I’ll see you around, yes. Enjoy the rest of your lunch!” she called out to him, before turning and walking back towards her desk. Now that boy was going to make a fine hero one day. She was sure of it.

Heidi nodded. Once again, she was putting trust in Shawn. She believed in him this time. Besides, once again, there was no happy ending, nor could there have been. Returning to the Blackbird, she set the unconscious mutant down, then stowed the briefcase. She contemplated returning to help, but leaving his mutant here to possibly wake up in the blackbird and cause havoc would be a bad idea. So she sat, and waited.

Tobias Wolf left the truck, and pased close to it, to stretch his legs. He'd never been in a space as large as this since he was free. Mexico sure was a lot dryer than Austria...He could feel the dryness in the air. Plus it was so quiet. No screaming, no banging, no scientists or guards pacing the corridors. Just the sounds of cars, and people talking in Spanish in the distance.

Tatianna came back, and started talking about making a possible stand against their former captives. That, Tobias agreed with. What was confusing him was why her former teammates were a threat. They helped rescue them, didn't they? Though from the sounds of it, they wouldn't dare hurt humans is this group used them as shields. Now it was beginning to click. They didn't fear humans. They didn't hate humans. They were trying to find a peaceful solution, and would probably frown on any kind of war. Tobias didn't think that was a bad or wrong philosophy. Hell, maybe it was right. But he venomously refused to share it. He didn't want to be 'right', or 'nice', or 'just'. For what had been done to him, he wanted to be wrong, and nasty, and vengeful. He wanted blood.

He nodded in agreement. This girl was a leader he could gladly follow. But what about the rest of them. The tall, blond boy stepped forward, and looked to the rest of the freed.

"I can't see your facial expressions, so just tell me. Is there anyone among us who has doubts?"
I've just had a really good idea. Permission to make an adult villain character later on (though they'll be alluded to now)
Coup D'etat

Near the beginning of the show, Mathis had found a solitary place in the arena to watch the show. At first, he was gonna watch everything, but seeing another LC match didn't appeal to him so he decided to rewatch the promos from last week's show. They were really good and Mathis got invested watching them. Last week he hadn't had the time to really pay attention to what was going on other than his match. By the time he got to the Hype Package for Hector a thought came to his mind. He knew that the higher ups were planning on doing a Coup d'etat storyline soon and Hector seemed like almost a perfect fit for it in Mathis' eyes. Thinking it over the tall Frenchman decided that he should at least mention this to the writing team.

Soon he was rushing down the hall while writing on his mini whiteboard, "A revolution is soon to come. What do you think of Hector joining it." Once he got to where the writing team was stationed he noticed Gary first and quickly walked over to his desk. He sat in the closest chair and held the whiteboard out for Gary to see it.

Gary’s desk was in shambles. Sticky notes were everywhere. Several notebooks littered the desk, all sporting unwritten handwriting. Three empty coffee cups were gathered on the lid of an empty pizza box. The chaotic creative space of a writer, in short. The young man in his smart shirt and jeans combination looked up, read the contents of the whiteboard, and then, with an expression of deep thought, started flicking through one of his notebooks.

“That’s an interesting idea. You certainly do need an entourage if you want to avoid you looking like you’re all bark and no bite. The more I think about the idea now that you’ve mentioned it, the more I like it. Hector’s booked against Ax, and then we’ve got him in a short feud with his old rival Chaos Clayton, but after that, all we need to do is keep him looking strong and dominant until….well, I don’t know how much of Hector’s future I should give away. But yeah, after Requiem it’s definitely possible. I’ll have to run it past the others first, as well as let Andrew himself know. Did you have any further thoughts about it yourself?”

Under the mask Mathis was smiling big. If this happened, along with the fact Kidd Neon may be joining soon, his stable would finally make an appearance in AWE. Mathis looked down at his board and wrote something new down. When he was done he presented it to the writer. “What if it started off as a match between us. Then after a time I need a tag partner because something happens to Neon and I reveal the mystery partner as Hector?”

Gary rubbed his chin, the gears turning again. He loved good, well-structured stories. That was his specialty. Kevin was the best booker, J.P. was the mad scientist, and Gary was the storyteller. ”Yes, that would be a nice shock reveal that nobody would be expecting. The match itself might have a few nods that won’t give it away but link it all together in hindsight. The good thing about Hector is that him behaving unusually isn’t unusual. I’ll work on this idea. If you’ve got nothing else to ask or add, it might be a good idea, going to find Andrew himself.”

Mathis nodded his head and sent a thumbs up Gary’s way, as the writer nodded in acknowledgement and went back to pulling his hair out trying to book all the new arrivals the promotion was soon to be getting without overbooking. This was good for Mathis. If even one writer liked the idea then odds of it happening were good. He left the room because he was on a hunt now. It didn’t really take him all that long to find the hulk of a man. When he found him, Mathis quickly wrote on his board, ”What would you think of joining my Coup d’etat stable?” He tapped the big man on the shoulder then presented the board to him.

The large Scot turned, and looked down at Mathis, reading the board. “Aye,” he answered in his loud-yet-friendly voice. “I assume you’ve already got the go ahead from the writers, but that sounds just fine to me! I’ve never been in a stable before, and to tell you the truth, I’ve always wanted to. You’re Mathis, right? The French guy with the mask?”

Mathis gave a thumbs up to the Scotsman. Then he looked around to see if anyone else was in the vicinity. Once sure that no one was around he started speaking, ”Since it’s seems like it’ll be a done deal I guess I’ll break kayfabe a little with you. Gary said he will be working on it. Man, finally speaking to someone besides Roddy is refreshing. No, nerves running up and down my spine. Have you got any questions about being in a stable?”

”Oh, so you can speak English! I wasn’t sure. As for questions, well,” Andrew paused, putting his hands in his pockets and looking up in thought. “How should I change my character to fit your stable? I obviously won’t change him too much, but a few subtle changes to make him suitable for teamwork are needed. What’s your stable’s gimmick and goal?”

”Yeah, most people react like that when they first hear me speak. I just generally don’t speak because I feel it brings familiarity to me. I find it makes people have better reactions to me if they aren’t as familiar with me.” At Andrew’s questions, Mathys started scratching his chin. Those answers are always different depending on the factors that surround the decision and the occurrences that bring about the forming.

”Well, yeah you’re character doesn’t need much changing. Since Hector is basically a monster the best way I can think to slot him in is having it be as if Initiate found a way to control Hector. Whether it be mental control or emotional control depends on how long we want this arc to go. The gimmick is typically is a band of brothers, as in brothers in arms, working together to fight the status quo. They can still have their own fights they handle but will always have the backs of each other. Especially when fighting whatever laws are in place. The goal would be to destroy everything and rebuild it to how we see fit with us at the top effectively creating new laws for someone else to destroy. I really like the cyclical nature of it. All of this is relative because the writers may have bits and pieces they may want to change. What do you think?”

”I definitely prefer mental control to emotional. I don’t want Hector to get humanised, or have any sympathetic traits. If his answers to why he’s decided to help you are all in riddles, it adds to the character rather than subtracts from it. As for the group’s purpose, I’m sure I can brainstorm some promos to tie both philosophies together and feed them to the writing team. That part about destroying and rebuilding is definitely something I could work with!”
@Burning Kitty

Ye. I'll make a post tomorrow, probably, for both Heidi and Tobias
@LHudson
