Appearance: Robert is your average size teenager with fiery red hair, tan skin color, and narrow ruby-eques eyes similar to a cat. His body is slender yet muscular similar to a human swimmer athlete.

Personality:
At first glance, Robert appears to be your typical delinquent, with all of his piercings, fierce sharp looks in his eyes, and tattoos all over his neck. The kind of people your mother warn you about. But in reality, he is very calm, firm, approachable and righteous. He has the mentality of a child, always curious about things. He can be a little bit crass and arrogant sometimes when push comes to shove.

Aspirations: To revolutionize the world with his tech and to get back at the mob that hurt his mom.

Fears: Robert is claustrophobic. He never really outgrown the fear of it, ever since he accidentally trapped himself inside a mountain of debris when he was playing in the junkyard during his childhood.

Magical Focus: Technology manipulation - By the use of a special artificial gauntlet, Robert can control technology devices to his own will, jumpstarting them, almost making them sentient, controlling them like a puppeteer.

He also created R.U.B.I.C. (Reshaping Unfaltering Bubble Intelligence Companion) A formless sentient made out of liquid mercury designed to defend, attack, and serve its user. A putty that can mold into any basic shape as Robert chooses. It normally takes the form of a Rubick's cube which Robert carries whenever he goes.

History:

Born from the seaside of Polis lives an artificer boy named Robert who scraps for junks, metal, and other valuable things he can for a living. A scavenger who has a passion/hobby of creating advanced tech from discarded materials he can find in the ocean.

His father came from a long line of an ancient race of sea people. Kinda similar to an Atlantean whose technology is far advanced than most races in this day and age. His mother was a brilliant scientist who used to work at South Minks, the commerce city of all the boroughs. She is now retired due to mob-related issues. An odd couple who traded their extravagant life and wishes to have a clean slate and a quiet life with their son.

This explains why their son Robert has a great affinity for technology and other advanced artifacts.

As a kid, Robert is the loner/rebel type. He spends so much in his hobby in tinkering stuff that he doesn't get along with the other kids at age and often gets into a brawl with them.

As a result, Robert created a companion for himself. A sentient cube made out of liquid mercury when he was still 9 years old.

No doubt, He is a child prodigy with a knack for trouble. This is why his parent doesn't want him to get involved in the wrong crowd and decided to enroll at Anepool Academy.

@Silverstein Vampires work differently in this setting. Also, there isnt a way to give people powers through chems like Project Power. People either can use magic or they can't, and those that can use magic are either born with it or have to learn it. No one can just take a pill and get powers, let alone have any ability to control those powers if taken.

Vampire Lore

They consume Ki instead of blood - typically through biting but not always and it doesnt always draw blood - but otherwise have the same physical abilities as humans. They can go out in the sun without harm; are born like humans and cannot "make" new ones; and don't really have any weaknesses to particular objects, foods, or magics. They do have a natural affinity for magic and all learn at least some form, but there isnt a set thing they learn or cant learn. There are no half-vampires either; in order to be born a vampire, they must have 2 vampire parents. While they do have longer than human average life spans, it's not by centuries but only a few decades (so average like 100-110 years instead of 80-90 years).

Despair descends at Lord Ahriman's place. It cast a tall shadow similar to a snake's head as it walks through the corridor halls.

A slender figure emerges from the entrance doors of the dining hall. It becomes more visible as it steps into the light. Shifting into something more human-like.

"Pardon my tardiness, my Lord. But I run into some trouble with my experiments." It spoke in its dull and monotone voice.

It was Sebastian, clad in his usual white surgeon coat with a black apron wrapped in front of it. As if he was running late and didn't have time to change his work attire for something more formal for the occasion. Nevertheless, He arrived to answer his Lord's call to a feast.

"It seems one of my specimens didn't want to cooperate. I have simply no choice but to dispose of it. Such an untidy work actually, Good test subjects are so hard to find these days." Sebastian nonchalantly said, continuing with his excuse while adjusting his latex gloves.

He sighed before making his way towards the banquet table.

As he marches with his staff aiding him, Sebastian briefly flicks his forked tongue to check and smell his surroundings, monitoring anything that isn't sanitary as his paranoia kicks in.

Surely, a massive gathering with all of the variety of demons, dark magicians, seasoned warriors, and other mythical creatures involved, these things would unintentionally invite what he hated and feared the most: germs.

Despite the number of guests. The gloom and doom theme Lord Ahriman's fortress has. The massive feast that would spell contamination if not prepared right. Sebastian was pleased to know that His Lord knew how to keep his place tidy and disinfected; As expected.

He then briefly curt a bow in front of Lord Ahriman, then proceeds to take his place at the massive table.

Sebastian remained seated, minding his manners. He did not touch nor taste the abundance of mouth-watering food and overflowing booze laid in front of him. It was tempting yet he refuse to indulge himself in pigging out at the table.

Not that he didn't like it. Oh no, It's just Sebastian thought to himself it's best to keep sober and attentive throughout the gathering.

This meeting is all about business and pressing matters, Right? Why else Lord Ahriman summons forth his finest A-team hell has to offer?

Despite all of this grandiose title, Sebastian is not always this aloof, cynical, cold-blooded(figuratively and in a literal sense) harbinger of plague and the avatar of pestilence he is today.

Oh no, quite the contrary, Before turning heel and serving the Demon Lord Ahriman's legion. He was a workaholic middle-aged corporate dude who didn't ask to be reincarnated into another world. He was once a mere human. A lesser isekai protagonist who got the short end of the stick.

A naive, optimistic, caring spell caster that is a part and supports a 'mid-tier' hero's band of adventurers. He was their designated healer and the hardest worker in that party. Although He does his job so well, Sebastian barely gets any praise for his efforts. often belittled by his party members in their adventures.

Sebastian is a natural man of talent when it comes to healing arts, potion concoction, and aiding his comrades. So much so, that he is the only reason that his 'reckless' party hasn't entered Death's door just yet.

Well ...until that fateful day when he and his cocky party members bit more than they can chew by delving into the Viper god's temple, facing the Snake Deity Atziri herself, and got completely annihilated for being 'idiots' for rushing in trying to do their flashy heroic moves on the Snake God whose way above their adventurer's paygrade as Sebastian would put it in his final moments.

Most of them barely escaped with their heads attached, but Sebastian was not so fortunate and was the sacrificial bait in doing so.

He was killed and was reincarnated as a prisoner, serving the Snake god and the snake people of the temple. Even being reincarnated as a part reptilian/ part human, Sebastian's work ethic didn't falter, he work as hard as he was in his past life as a human healer.

To his surprise, the basilisk tribe was quite accommodating of their kin and his talents were much appreciated here than he was in that jerk of a Hero's party.

As the years, decades go by, Sebastian makes his way up the corporate ladder and makes it up to the higher ranks in the snake hierarchy.

The viper queen herself calls upon Sebastian for his unfaltering dedication, where his talents are recognized, promoting him into her most trusted general, bestowing him with the highest power of their snake overlord.

from there, Sebastian's view of this world changed. he became a heartless machine, vengeful, rejecting his humanity due to his previous experience siding with humans. turning him into a cold-blooded, slithering, devotee and emissary for the Snake-god with zero empathy for the human race whatsoever.

As a sign of good faith and allegiance to the demon lords, The Viper Queen sends a recommendation letter to Lord Ahriman, entrusting Sebastian to work under his jurisdiction in the fight against those 'otherworldly heroes'

Skills and Abilities:
What Sebastian lacks in physical strength and frail body makes up for his ability to cast powerful venomous poison spells, inciting a plague that can wipe an entire town from his horrific experiments.

Sebastian possesses snake-like features such as molting his skin to regenerate, night vision to see in the dark, fangs that can pierce through skin, and can summon a variety of snakes at his whim. He can also turn his skin into scales, toughening his exterior against most blunt attacks.

His eyes are his greatest features, staring through them for a long period of time can petrify a man to his doom.

He is quite knowledgeable in all sorts of medicine, as well as many forms of toxins for any occasion, and other high-tier alchemy due to his previous life as a healer/alchemist.

Sebastian is a workaholic and a shut-in. spending most of his time indoors, experimenting god knows what toxins he can think off inside his laboratory. He is rarely seen in the outside world unless needed or call upon by his superiors.

technically yes, sorry if my OC's backstory is a bit scuffed. basically my dude got reincarnated 2 times: first being a c-tier healer with zero plot armor that got him killed siding with some reckless heroes, then the latter when he became a basilisk lich siding with the demon lord. He is somewhat aware that he is in a isekai pingpong. Hopefully his experience will get him some redemption in his new life. if that makes sense?
