Cold. the mountain was... cold. but not to Loki. Loki was a frost giant after all, and the cold was a haven to him. But Loki had no time to dawdle. he had a mission. To topple the world's governments from the inside, all in the hopes that all this chaos would feed the universe's cycle of death and rebirth, thereby halting Ragnarök. As he neared, the facility, he noticed something peculiar. there was a fence. now, this in of itself wasn't a problem, but it seemed that they had been expecting him, as guards were wandering all around.
Bumbling mortal fools. Can't even see me in my invisibility cloak. Loki simply turned into a fly, zipping over the fence, and went in on a guard's shoulder.
Fools. Can't beleive Thor values these creatures. they're like apes. Loki, still a fly buzzed into the halls before turning back, now invisible. The guards were still here on patrol, but now they were mixed with scientists. Loki loved scientists. these were people he could actually stand. The thrill of knowledge was a vice for both divine and earthly beings, it seemed. Loki turned into a scientist and went to records, attempting to mimc these mortal's demeanor, but he still looked like he had a plan. Not even loki could change that much. loki looked at his nametag.
'nicholas b nightingale.' wouldn't be hard to memorize. all he would have to do is dispose of the original. not too hard. loki grinned as he made his way to the records.
"All this priceless knowledge, just sitting here?" this... this would be fun.
