Still a work in progress but figured id post the WIP just so you know I'm still here.  Decided to go with Enhancement since I was having trouble with coming up with a conjurer ability that was unique enough.  also, this ability really seemed cool to me.

 Taka Manahiro

Notable Physical Attributes-
High strength-  Outside of his normal enhancement ability Taka is naturally extremely strong explaining his natural tendency towards more blunt methods of combat

Extremely durable-  Just as he is able to dish out an extreme amount of damage Taka is also able to take quite the beating.   

Discovery of Nen-
Though his body was already using a small amount of nen naturally, Taka didn't truly learn about the strange power until he met Makimoto.  Though he lost to her in their first duel, Taka impressed her enough for the women to take him in as a student.  Since then Taka has trained tireresly to strengthen his one aura so that he may one day finally defeat his master.  
 
Nen Type- Enhancement 

General Ability-
Like a true Enhancer, Taka has shown natural talent at the use of Ken and Ryo even in the hectic chaos of battle.  Even though Taka has shown extraordinary skill with these more advanced nen disciplines, the basic form of Zetsu seems to be a particularly weak point for him.  While he can still perform Zetus when needed Taka much prefers to use Ren or Hatsu to announce his presence and frighten his opponents.  Though not an essential part of his training being an enhancer Taka has ensured that his Hatsu suits his own personal fighting style and personality making it particularly potent.

Taka converts a portion of the damage done to him in a fightback into his own Nen.  This converted nen is then used to either increase his own power or is built up until it finally boils over exploding in a large nen blast.

Trained Skills or Knowledge-
Taka learned how to fight from a young age and has been trained in the art for most of his life.  To most his fighting style seems to be just senseless brawling, this in part is true.  However, Taka has a mind for strategy when it comes to a fight and how best to approach them.  Though not the same as say your brilliant military general Taka would surprise many with his quick assessment of a person's ability and how best to combat it given his or anthers own strengths.

Notable Personality Traits/Personality-
Pride that borders on arrogance is often the first thing people think of when Taka comes to mind, and to an extent they would be correct.  More so than anything Taka is very prideful of both his strength and his home.  This pride serves as the centerpiece for most of his actions and how he carries himself.  This can at times come off as standoffish or taka having a superiority complex which isn't quite accurate.  While he does value personal strength above all others he is not a heartless person.  In fact, those that he has deemed a close friend or family can always count on the monster of a fighter to have their back regardless if they are in the right or wrong.

General History-
Taka was always a fighter, you had to be if you wanted to live in Meteor city.  The strong survive and the weak die was a fact that many unfortunately learned the hard way.  Those that were lucky enough to live after learning those hard lessons faced harsh lives as outcasts amongst the greater world.  Though there was hope, at least those proficient in combat and willing to do some less savory jobs for a bit of cash.  Taka was one such of these individuals who were not only willing to but also seemed to enjoy the fighting he was hired to do. 

One day however Taka, though an excellent fighter and definitely the best of his age, bit off more than he could chew when he challenged a woman who was a stranger to their city.  To say it was one-sided would be an insult to the woman who made short work of the boy that had openly challenged her.  Though he stood no chance in even landing a blow against her Taka was far too determined, or stubborn to give up so he continued to attack.  As the fight drew on he began to swing more and more recklessly until he was out of gas and found himself face first in the dirt.  Lucky however Taka’s determination and refusal to give up even when he had clearly lost seemed to impress the women who offered to take him under her wing and train him.  Ever since then Taka has studied under Makimoto in an effort to not only make her proud but also to one day surpass her.
