World in Mist

This is a simple open-world RPG with Roll-To-Dodge mechanics, where players can do whatever they want in a vast unknown world. There will be a focus on minimalism and simplicity here. The point is for people to be able to jump right in and start playing, with minimal reading/planning/effort. The world will start out as unknown/blank, and will create itself as the game proceeds.

Players are advised to create a character with any kind of format and depth of detail, though simple is preferred (example fields: name, description, abilities and/or inventory).

Player characters can perform one or more underlined actions whenever they want in the IC thread, which the GM will resolve by rolling a d6, the results of the action depending on the roll:

1 - Epic failure: The action backfired horribly.
2 - Failure: The action basically failed.
3 - Partial success: The exact degree of success will be determined by the GM.
4 - Success: The action was carried out adequately.
5 - Epic success: The action succeeded in an extremely positive way.
6 - Overshoot: Though the result was achieved, the action backfires horribly due to disproportionately large effect.

Players can do anything they want using underlined actions, whether they make sense or not. Literally anything can be an action! Players can also interact and do stuff without using underlined actions (such as general dialogue and such), though such posts may not have much direct impact on the game.

This will be jump-in, so even making a character is not required, though it is suggested (otherwise you may be referred to as your user name in game). Feel free to go ahead and start posting any character actions in the IC. I will try to update this at least once every few days.

No not at all. It probably requires the least amount of effort out of any RPs I've participated in. It can of course depend on how much effort players want to put in, but I was looking for something minimalist. A one-liner action, maybe with some dialogue/description, is the norm for these things. And it would be free-form open-world, so there's not really going to be anything pre-planned at all. Basically just a super casual do-whatever-you-want kind of thing. Example here.
I'm a fan of RTD (Roll To Dodge) games, but active places on the internet with lots of RTDs are hard to find. Wondering if there's any interest for them here.

The idea for an RTD is simple, each player plays as a character and each turn performs an action (can be any action the player wants). The host will roll a 1d6 to determine how successful the action was, ranging from disastrous (1), failure (2), iffy success (3), success (4), great success (5), too successful (6).

I am mostly interested in participating as a player, but am willing to GM if there is enough interest but no one to GM.

Awesome, posted character there.
Appearance:

Role: Suitor
Name: Arkyth Elexiel
Age: 17
Title: Prince
Kingdom/Homeland: Kingdom of Espergarde
Bio: Being a bastard son of King Tenek, Arkyth had always been treated with some degree of questionability by many nobles at the palace. After being recently disqualified from the annual stag-hunting contest, a fed-up Arkyth decided to elope from his kingdom to look for greater opportunities abroad, which is when he stumbled upon perhaps the greatest opportunity ever--a chance to become king and ruler of the most prominent kingdom in the world. Sure he might be a little young for the job, but that's never stopped him from going after what he wants.
Other: Gifted with exceptional physical prowess and dexterity, Arkyth is a fierce and crafty fighter. Armed with a sword and a pistol, even the nobles who doubt his royal merit would have to admit to his skill in combat.

Yes, this is perfectly fine. I do want a character that will fit in with the world.
Edited my character sheet, just changed a few words and found a new image~
@Vampiretwilight
Ah, I can change my character to be human then, that shouldn't be hard. I was basing the character off the image but that's not too important.
Hello, if I'm not mistaken we can apply for the role of the princess? I have a suitor character created but I might want to apply as the princess instead, as it seems there isn't one at the moment. I'd be interested in playing as either role though.

Also I was wondering if our characters needed to abide by a certain type of setting, for example my character is an elf from a sort of fantasy setting, would that be a problem here?

Anyway here is my suitor character:
(edited to be human~)

I wake up, stretching my neck and limbs as I arise with a sleepy meow from my bed of tentacles that is my tail. Some strangeness may come with being a cat-octopus mutant out in the wild, but there are benefits. I look to my friend, who is strange in their own way, so much that it often peaks my curiosity. I sneak up on them and suddenly brush a paw on their shoulder. "Morning!"
