The highest, most decisive experience is to be alone with one's own self. You must be alone to find out what supports you, when you find that you can not support yourself.

The core of an individual is the mystery of life, which dies when it is 'grasped'. That is also why symbols want to keep their secrets.

Bio

The Harbinger of Ferocity

Agent of the Wild, Aspect of the Ferine
Nature, red in tooth and claw.

"There is, indeed, no single quality of the cat that man could not emulate to his advantage."
- Carl Van Vechten

I am, at my core, a personification and manifestation of those things whose blood and hearts run red with the ferocity of the animal world. It is this which convicts and controls my works, my writing, my being; the force and guidance in which I gain wisdom from. It is what inspires me as a creator and weaver of words, the very thing I admire as an author.

My leanings, savage as they are, are of the feline sort as there exists no greater lineage of beasts whom can be drawn from. No others captivate and motivate my talent and skill as the greatest of cats do.

Unless there is particular protest or reason that @Zverda wishes to go before Brannor with Torus, I have no issue in maneuvering ahead of the druid.
This very thing has been all too missing from the Discord given how prevalent it had been on the site when the chat service was integrated. I certainly would be all the pleased to see it return even in this form. It has been years now, many at that, and some return to it would be for the better I think, particularly with one's doing as your own, @Tyler Night.
As a result, this game will now be closed due to the ongoing issues described, @Typical, @DocRock, @Pyromaniacwolf.
It is the worst case scenario but I have to wonder if this was the next encounter or not, which would make sense. How and why they are here raises some questions, although I assume they were leading the previous group and went snooping elsewhere, then wondered why the kobolds never returned plus all the other kills we left in our wake. So with that in mind, I am rolling for Brannor's initiative, because as noted why Cyanwrath might want another duel, I have strong doubts his cronies are going to honor that, not cheat in some fashion, or if we did somehow best Cyanwrath, not immediately set upon the group. The resulting roll is 3, @Hekazu.
I have little confidence that following them deeper into the lair and where apparently Cyanwrath awaits would be in our best interest but that is just my input. If nothing comes of it otherwise I do intend to have Brannor start combat, given negotiating with the enemy for their interests and demands is not his style and the fact that facing this party plus at least Cyanwrath, plus more dragons I assume, is more than enough to overwhelm the group.
To @Pyromaniacwolf, do you intend to continue on with the game or are you devoted now to withdrawing? I need know as it has gone on for some time where we have not heard from you in any real sense inside or outside of the game. It needn't be an elaborate answer, I just require a knowing one if at all possible.

Chapter I
"The air on this island is clean and warm, pure in an odd sense and were it not for the fact this place held you prisoner, it would likely be a place of reprieve. Despite the sea-salted breeze among the green making you relaxed, your worried heart at rest for a moment, you press on and begin scouring the trees around you. Avoiding any trail or thicket that seems much too dangerous on your travels, you eventually discover what you can only assume to be wild bananas. The large palm they are attached to, their green, leathery flesh in rows, and the bowing hanging with flowers, there is not much else you can suspect it to be."

"Stopping with gear in hand, the tree, nearing ten or more feet in height, appears to be the first real promise of food you have seen. Likewise, reasonably if there is one of these great fruit-bearing stems among this island, there are bound to be more. As fortunate as it is, the fruit is not readily accessible as to be expected..."
When perusing one of my philosophical texts on the nature of environmental theory, I happened upon the quote of, "Or suppose we were committed to a world in which total suffering was minimized. Might such a future world contain no human beings?" Only to realize part of why the text spoke so well to me is that it focuses on the concept of minimizing harm, even if it comes at the expense of human beings themselves. It has made me reconsider that perhaps I am not lacking in compassion but have an overabundance of compassion that leads me to take up stances that are, seemingly, those least compassionate at all. But what is then the idea of minimizing suffering and harm? Interesting questions and it pleases me to know I am not the only one who battles with this question.
Brannor will as well, so that Kyra is not alone and left to fight by herself should enemies appear and opt to say, rush her. That said, I believe we have had a long enough window on discussion and deliberation. I suppose at this point only @Hekazu knows what the outcome of this decision will be.
