Werewolves, werebears... krakens... yeah, they all existed in lower dimensions of light. Earth was kindof a little bellow the floating line on holiness, so most cryptids were kinda just liminal in as much as, nobody could quite spot one and those that did, were they weren't all right up there and therefore never trusted by the official powers.

I don't think i am from your realm... But very likely similar entities would exist all across the omniverse in various iterations and forms.

What i described was not a werewolf though...

There... that existed overlayed with Earth but slightly lower in light and order and purity. A place for the evil people to slink into. Not quite hell, but already close to it

Well, not quite like that in my world. It's not like you would suddenly see normal people who lived a life of deep crime or the like, suddenly split apart and grow teeth and claws everywhere and suddenly start eating people's souls... well that could happen if that criminal would have been a deep dark sorcerer for too long, but other than that, said transformation and damnation would have taken place in the afterlife...
