I used to love the holiday season as a kid, but these days I’m terrified that the strange man in red is going to break into my home again and leave another suspicious package under one of my plants.

Alright, that's it! I've had enough of this damn heat. Bring me my matches, it’s time to burn the sun down.

If there are 3600 rats living in my bones and I eat one every second, how long will it take me to eat all the rats? Assume each rat undergoes binary fission exactly once every hour.

Adventurer, the rats in my basement have merged into a fractal entity! I will pay you 4 silver coins to slay the infinite rat(s) in my basement.

Edith was hungry, so when Jerome dismissed them for lunch Edith's stomach growled a she darted out of the room, almost knocking several desks over in the process. Finding that she wasn't the first one out and that the cafeteria was already filling up, Edith looked round trying to find a table to claim before deciding on one right in the middle of the room. Her table of choice was unfortunately occupied by a group of younger looking students, but they'd probably move if they new how much she wanted the table, right?

'Maybe if I say I want it really nicely?'

Edith's face contorts into something akin to a grin as she walks up to the table where she simply stops and stares. After a just a moment conversation stops around the table, and after 20 or so seconds of eery silence, the tables occupants unanimously decide to get up and move as far away as possible.

'I didn't get to ask... Oh well.'

A few were even kind enough to forget their lunches in their hast to leave, which Edith happily digs into.
Yay, I need to sleep now, but I'll post in the morning.
And I'm back, whats happened?
@Shiyonichi Nope.

[@everyone] I'm going to be overseas for the next few days, so my postings may be infrequent or nonexistent depending on when I can access the internet.
I am here.
Edith happily sits at her desk. Hearing Jerome speak Edith looks to the board, trying to absorb the words coming from her teachers mouth. Something about personalities and costumes? Come to think of it, something was mentioned about needing a costume, Edith had just kinda forgotten about it.

Edith racks her brains for information on costumes. Heroes wear them and so do villains, her parents had costumes. After thinking for a minute Edith remembers a conversation on the matter she'd had with her farther had told her a long time ago.

'A costume should be intimidating and imposing, fear is as much a weapon as any quirk. That said, it doesn't need to be elaborate or all over the place, then you'll just end up looking like a dickhead.'

Her father costume had been a two piece suit with a few creative and rather sharp looking flourishes. Thinking on it Edith decides that a suit would be too uncomfortable, but that her uniform is comfortable enough. Drawing a picture of her uniform albeit plainer Edith goes back to thinking about her fathers advice.

'The most important thing in a costume, even more than intimidation, is function. Take the spikes hidden in my suit for example, a hero pricks themselves on the wrong part of my suit and the next thing they know their on the floor with their blood boiling inside them. I can tell you that ones saved me more than a few times.'

Edith wouldn't really be able to benefit from spikes in the same way her father did, her powers needed more than a prick to be effective, sitting their for a while Edith remembers the tanks her mother used to have within her costume for storing water she could manipulate in a fight. After wrighting down 'water bottles in suit for blood', Edith takes a look at her handy work. The lines are all janky and the entire work is barely above stick figure level, but the concept is translated okay enough.

After that Edith hurriedly writes down a brief and rather poorly worded description of her quirk, before running up and holding it out to the teacher proudly.

"Did it!"
Edith laughs, as she runs around her new friends, but soon slows down instead walking alongside them as they pick up their pace, it's surprising how hard it is too keep pace with someone while running wide circles around them. Seeing Koharu holding the door and smiling at them Edith darts on through, not wanting her friend to have to hold the door for too long. Edith then begins to make a show of running around the classroom and checking all of the chairs and desks, including the ones already occupied, determined to find the ones she deems best for Koharu and Karen, as she starts singing rather loudly and rather off key to herself.

"Freinds, friends, friends. I have lots of friends..."

Finally finding some empty seats towards the back corner of the room she deems acceptable. Edith grabs a seat and begins frantically waving Koharu and Karen over.
Edith runs up to the other two girls, glad that they didn't thing she was following them. Hearing the word friends Edith's grin spreads ear to ear as she begins giddily running around the two.

"Friends? I like friends! I don't have many though, at least not anymore..."

Edith stops in her tracks, her smile faltering for a moment as her voice trails off, before she resumes hopping around her new friends.

"But that doesn't matter, because we're friends now right!?

... wow this place really is full of friends, I wonder why they don't call it friends place... wait, never mind."
Edith beams at Koharu, feeling the girls happiness and enjoying the display of joy. Hearing Koharu tell Edith her name and ask about her own Edith beamed even wider. Koharu, Edith decided she liked that name.

"My name is Edith Row, it's good to meet you Koharu!"

After Koharu said her good byes Edith responded with a bye of her own before herself running off towards the class.

"Bye bye..."

Edith then proceeded to run frantically around the school somehow having already forgotten her way to the classroom before managing several minutes later to run almost straight into Karen and Koharu again. Standing there awkwardly for a few seconds before coming to the horrifying and wholly unlikely conclusion that these girls might think she's following them.

"Oh what are... fancy seeing... I'm not following you two, please don't think I'm following you."
Edith took a moment to realise that it was her who Karen had motioned to. After standing on the spot like a fool for a moment unsure of the correct procedure to this interaction Edith finally speaks up.

"Um... ok... Th-thank you or somethin?!"

Realising that some kind of signal had been given and they were now following Koharu, Edith stiffly follows behind them trying her best to look normal, which for her involved pulling a Warped and kinda creepy grin. Upon arriving at the showers Edith gives a sort of half bow half salute gesture and mutters a hurried thanks towards Karen and Koharu, before rushing inside.

Looking around the bathroom Edith is awestruck, as someone whom for most of her life had a bucket and maybe a crusty bar of soap as the height of their hygiene, this place was pretty damn impressive. After almost running straight into the shower before remembering to take her clothes off, Edith spends the next long while washing all the blood and grime off herself, watching as it disappears into the drain.

The now mostly clean Edith shakes herself off, not bothering with a towel, before putting her dirty clothes back on and walking back out to the waiting Koharu.

"I'm clean now!

... oh, thanks for bringing me here and stuff."
