no no noooo I will have this shit done... SICK FOR A WEEK, leaving me behind in mountain of work, and planning my fathers 50th.. FUCKING LIFE ALWAYS RUINING ROLEPLAYS ;-;
Race: Human Gender: Male Occupation: Freedom Fighter, Leader of the Rebellion Location: Slums A Brief History: Mason grew up as the son of a slave to the races who thought they were better than the humans. Mason always hated the creatures that returned so long ago, despised the way they treated humans as a commodity, as pets... as nothing more than entertainment. He had a deep hatred for them, so deep in fact that when he was in his early 20's, he spent a lot of time out at night until dawn. That time spent was used to deface property owned by the monsters, actively protest and cause all sorts of destruction in the East and West end districts of Eclipse. Mason eventually found that people were following him, people who harbored the same hatred and distrust. People who were tired of being used and tired of being abused. Mason started a revolution, created a voice for the humans, one fueled with the rage of the human spirit. Mason wasn't sure how to lead them, but he knew that he was the one to unite the humans against they tyranny of the fattened monsters in their high seats of power and authority. Much of Mason's acts after the forming of the rebellion were mostly graffiti and starting riots in the streets of the West End, never letting a monster see his face while he was out, leading a life of secrecy and keeping his rebellion as an underground movement in the slums, gathering more young, hateful humans to finally rise against the Elders.
Other:Mason keeps a black and white plaid bandanna in his back pocket and usually carries one can of spray paint and a few Molotov's in a backpack. He keeps these on him to start riots where his members of the rebellion are to incite chaos and cause disorder.
The Hierarchy
First Elder
Azura Rosethorn --- Kokushi
Name: Azura Rosethorn Age: 205 Attire/Appearance:
Height: 5’9” Race: Aaenshi Gender: Female Occupation: First Elder Location: North End A Brief History: Born to a small clan, Azura was never happy with her low position in the hierarchy and eventually forced her way to the top. A skilled warrior, she defended her title as ‘Alpha’ with ease, never bowing down to any male or female that dared challenge her, but rather took them head on and destroyed them. Her ruling over her clan lasted until she was 150 years of age before she decided she wanted more than what she had been given.
Mind made up, she traveled to the city of Enigma, a place where she worked just as hard over the next 25 years to gain access to the North End, easily passing any and all tests they threw her way. Despite her rise in status however, she continued to visit a small book shop she had grown to like in the West End run by a Harpy and what appeared to be her Servant, a half elf Drow. When she left the West End, she had told them that she would continue to return to their shop to go through their selection in search of rare titles, a word she kept over the years, even after she had become an Elder.
Other: Aaenshi are different. Very, very different as they nearly always have two sides to them, usually a more neutral side, and a side that only seeks to destroy. Aaenshi are always trying to wrest control of themselves, and have a high sense of logic. Since they live a very long time, Aaenshi often are deeply tortured, always fighting between remaining neutral and acting on the one fatal flaw their creator bestowed upon them… the desire to kill.
Second Elder
Molocaesum --- The Emperors Blade
Name: Molocaesum Age: ??? Attire/Appearance:
Race: Shedim Gender: Male. Maybe? Occupation: Second Elder Location: North End A Brief History: (will be filled out as the RP goes) Other: He owns a farm that exists on his property next to his home which is an enormous Mansion with sprawling grounds. His farm consists of a huge steel building in which two hundred rooms are present each one capable of housing four humans at a time. Male and female humans are kept seperate in this building and are bred via the use of a single male. All other males being used once they are of the age twenty two as food proper for high end diners, and butcher shops. Females on the other hand are split fifty fifty as breeding stock and resources for food. Children are only used as food stock to exceptionally well paying customers and only on rare occasion.
Molocaesum keeps a standing guard of fifteen creatures much like him that serve as his “Putrid Guard.” They are highly reviled as everywhere they go a green cloud of sickness wafts from them, their degraded armor and weapons giving off a sign of decay even as they move among everyone.
Third Elder
Adrian Nimenal LeRouse --- Mag Lev
Adrian Nimenal LeRouse
Age: 184 years
Gender: Male
Race: Pureblood Vampire Personality:
"Having lived nearly two hundred years, it is easy to view the life of another as nothing but a fleeting speck of dust among a million other specks of dust. And in those specks of dust is the occasional flake of gold."
Despite being a killer by nature, Adrian respects the finer side of life unlike many of his pureblood brethren. Rather than consuming his prey like a beast, tearing them apart piece by piece, Adrian feeds on his 'beauties' quite like the way humans formerly saw vampires. To say that Adrian is kind to consume them this way is rather out of place as this death is often slow and will last only until he grows tired of the beauty whom he favorites in feeding In the end, he simply likes to toy with his prey and toss them to his more vicious brethren once he grows bored of their presence. Though, there are those among his prey whom he never throws away and quite simply keep as pets, or servants as other Elders may call them. But take not Adrian's toying nature as a weakness for he is still a killer like the others of his kind. In no way would he shed a tear should he have to kill a human who speaks towards him a way he dislikes or even has an offending odor. Adrian has grown quite paranoid over the years as there have been attempts to take his position of Third Elder. He is greatly wary of other vampires and often only goes out into Enimga with several members of his clan.
Occupation: Elder
Location: North End
Brief History:
"What is a life but a bug trying to outrun the windshield of a transport in the eyes of an immortal?"
Adrian was not created, as many vampires are believed to have been. Rather, Adrian was born from one of the few couplings of pureblood vampires which have managed to produce children. The first born of the LeRouse Clan, Adrian lived a rather comfortable life often being fed only the finest specimens and was provided with the best clothes. Adrian's education consisted of learning much about running the LeRouse Clan, which consisted of only ten purebloods and thirty converts at the time. One could say the the young boy was almost being prepared for the future position he was to hold as he was taught the vicious politics of the vampire clans. It was not uncommon for the boy to watch his father or mother has they 'claimed' territory over certain humans whom they deemed cattle. Though the claiming process was rather brutal as the humans were marked with the symbol of whichever clan were using them, often by scaring the humans with deep cuts to do so. Adrian particularly found this process of marring the skin of prey, especially those who had finer features than normal, rather unfitting of his kind and often said as such to his parents while he was learning.
Despite his interjection into the marring of beautiful humans, Adrian showed a viciousness which made even his parents proud. The boy held back during none of his training spars and often would do anything to win the fight even if he would have been punished. At the prime age of a hundred, Adrian took over the LeRouse Clan and a golden age shined up his clan. More converts were made out of those special few who he found worthy and the passive aggressive take over of territory drove others to strike a deal with the clan. Yet, this quick rise to power was not left unnoticed as certain vampire, whose cunning and strength had led him to take the spot of Third Elder, noticed both a threat and a opportunity in the young Adrian. The Elder, whose name was Ibriham Volue, offered Adrian a deal; join him as a sort secretary or his clan would face harsh times. The boy agreed to the deal, on part to gain understanding of Enigma's ruling Elders and save his clan trouble. For nearly twenty years Adrian served under the Elder whose cruel but efficient learning process molded the young vampire who would eventually take the position for himself through an aggressive takeover. When Ibriham was challenged, he took the battle no more serious than a hunt for prey, a decision he would regrets as Adrian had made sure to poison the man's prey and thus him in the process. With Ibriham weakened by the poison, Adrian easily defeated his foe and forced himself into the position of Third Elder.
Having acquired the position of Third Elder, Adrian began to make leaps for his Clan and acquire a larger population of specimens for vampires in Enigma. His once small Clan quickly became the largest with fifty pure bloods and two hundred converts. His aggressive and anti-human politics led to stricter laws on where humans can go and who is allowed into the East End of Enigma. In recent years, Adrian has become more of a recluse and rarely ever goes out to hunt for prey and often only allows his Clan members to enter his penthouse. It is unknown to the public what has caused Adrian's reclusive behavior though it is believed to be attributed to the growing unrest in the clans over his announcement of keeping position of Clan leader even as an Elder.
Not visible in the picture is that he has a tail of about 5 feet. It resembles a lizard tail and is usually coiled. Race: Half demon Gender: Male Occupation: First elder’s right hand, Warlock Location: North end
A Brief History: Half demons were a race that came into existence as a small number of humans fled the gods, heading into the netherworld. However, here they were not treated any better by the locals than the gods did to the other humans. These humans were nothing more than pets to the demons. This, however, did not stop the conception of the half demons. Although their kind was not shunned by the demons, they were often ridiculed. However, there have been many half demons that have proven themselves worthy of their abyssal heritage and proudly walked among their demonic brethren.
Archivald was around thirty when he came to the city of Enigma. Half demons weren’t abnormal in this city, albeit a rarity. But what was really peculiar about Archivald was that he came to the city from the outside world. Being the good, upstanding prospective citizen he was, he went and offered his services. But he didn’t just offer them to anyone, he only wanted to offer them directly to the elders. They accepted to hear him out, be it curious or reluctantly, and ended up giving the warlock a chance to show what he was able to do. The elders had caught wind of a small resistance movement starting somewhere in the southern end. Archivald did not only quickly trace them, he led a force of the elders’ soldiers to quickly and decisively dispatch of them as well. The soldiers shared stories of awe and disbelief about Archivalds cruel dark arts for years afterward.
The display landed him a high position among the defenders of the hierarchy. However, this wasn’t enough for Archivald. His displays became even crueler. He challenged his superiors to duels for their position. His actions quickly led him upward, and eventually he was offered a position by the first elder’s side himself. Maybe he had truly seen the man’s potential, or maybe he just wanted to stop his cruel way of advancement quickly. This is a position he has held for many years now. However, who says that Archivald’s advancement stops here? The position of first elder looks remarkably interesting.
Other: Half demons have distinguishing characteristics based on their demonic ancestor(s), which includes looks and lifespan

His Alter Appearance: (usually due to extreme negative emotions/though not exclusively.):
Race: ??? Manticore/Human (at least that's what he used to be.) Gender: Male Occupation: Doctor Location: West Side.
A Brief History: Considered to be brilliant even at a young age, everyone in his family. His parents and his 3 older siblings treated him like a prodigy, and he really never liked any of it. Even back then, he did his best to not show off his intelligence in casual conversation. Becoming a doctor, and a damn good one at that. His patients say that he almost seem to already know what was wrong with them before he even looked at their chart. He was in his early twenties and already pretty well off. Both of his parents, getting in a terrible car crash a few days after his birthday was what he thought would be the worst day of his life. He was wrong...
When the event happened, even to this day his memories are still hazy. All he could remember was feeling like he was suffocating in a haze of thick black fog and a large shadow was towering over him, he felt as if he couldn't move and blacked out. He woke up, so a horrible, large monster starting back at him, in the pool of water. From the flooded street seemed like he'd been out long enough to miss an entire storm. He quickly realized the reflection, was himself.
He felt that he had been cursed from that day forward, immediately trying to find his siblings without really thinking about how they would react, when he arrived back home. He saw, looking in horror that two of his siblings we're dead. Looking as if they've been slaughtered in their home and the other was nowhere to be seen.
No longer considered to be a human in the eyes of most, as many in the slums were now too afraid of him. He had been given the option to live on the west side as a Doctor, he had plenty of money that he could afford it. His patients are now, are not the humans he once treated, but monsters or other races instead. But he is still quite popular. Growing ever more resentful of the curse that had been forced upon him. He looks for ways to join the Rebellion...without the Rebellion thinking he's a monster.
Other: He is extremely brilliant, and still believes he is a human and one day will change back to normal. But in his monstrous form he is extremely powerful and dangerous. And as his patients once said, as a joke. Ever since he changed, he really could see anything wrong with his patients. As all ailments and problems appear clearly in his head. Making him quite good at his job. He recently started to make medicine of his own, creating his own chemist lab in his own apartment where he lives.
Alicia Nightwing --- Kokushi
Name: Alicia Nightwing
Race: Shifter
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Occupation: Unclear
Location: East End
Personality: Alicia is typically Sarcastic or completely serious, sometimes it can be hard to tell. If she does not know someone, she keeps her words short and clipped, not wanting to waste any more time with them than she must. The only person she ever shows any semblance of kindness to those that she may call friend, giving advice when asked and distributing punishment when told, though people like that are few and far between. More often than not, she is cruel and enjoys watching as others are tortured or killed in the slowest manner possible either by her, or in front of her.
Appearance:
Details
Body build: Athletic
Hair: Hip Length
Hair color: Red
Skin color: Pale
Eye/Iris color: Honey
Height/Weight: 5’8 - 150lbs
Notable Features: Scar over her left eye
Clothing Description: Other than the clothing in the photo, Alicia enjoys wearing black leather pants and a Leather half-jacket with a fur hood, her chest covered by nothing but bandages. As she rather not sacrifice comfort, she alternates between wearing a pair of black sneakers or a pair of black shit kickers depending on how she is feeling that day.
Alicia can create, shape and manipulate air, the common name given to the layer of atmospheric gases and various compounds (mostly oxygen and nitrogen) surrounding the planet Earth that is retained by Earth's gravity, and wind, movement of air relative to the surface of the planet. It is an important factor in determining and controlling climate and weather, and the generating force of most ocean and freshwater waves. Wind occurs because of horizontal and vertical differences in atmospheric pressure, and include breezes, squalls, gusts, whirlwinds, zephyrs, gales, tempests, and hurricanes.
Since air cannot be seen by conventional methods, neither can the attacks and derivatives formed by/from it, making it an invisible and versatile weapon that is very difficult to block and dodge. HOWEVER, the more power she uses and the more often that she uses it within a day, the more tired she becomes. Her power tends to take a toll on her body and if she pushes herself too far, she could die.
History Having grown up in a Patriarch home, Alicia was used to her brothers always getting what they wanted as she rarely got what she needed. When it came to the home schooling that her race had as a requirement once they became of age, her brothers always got the best teachers, while the women were only allowed to know the basics of Wind magic. More often then not, Women were only taught how to use the healing properties, and she was placed under the same requirement, though she always studied in secret.
She was caught one night with one of her brother's study books at the age of eight by her father and was beaten severly for her clear defiance of the rules he had set down. Though she was clearly afraid to be beaten again, Alicia never stopped studying and never stopped practicing the type of magic she truly wanted to do, no matter what her father said or did. Eventually, seeing that he would never be able to sway her or even physically stop her from learning as she wanted, he allowed her to attend the same 'classes' as her brothers.
At the age of nine, Alicia experienced her first shift, which was a miracle all on its own, as the average Shifter does not experience his/her first shift until their mid-teens. Seeing that she had potential, Alicia's father began to train her himself, which included both fighting and magic. As the years went on, it became apparent that Alicia was a rare form of Shifter, as she was able to create multiple pacts with animal spirits, allowing her to shift into many other animals.
Eventually, Alicia snapped and ended up killing her father for all the abuse that he had put her through and left her home, no longer wanting anything to do with them. No one tried to stop her, her mother cursed her and her brothers were terrified of her, but she just could not bring herself to care.
Shakti --- Jewels
Name: Shakti Age: n/a Attire/Appearance: At present, Shakti has no corporeal form. It appears as a dark featureless body in the shadows with shafts of pure light for eyes. Its frame is compact and, when fully in view, it rises to 7' tall. By the clean and brutally deep slashes it leaves on its victims, one might assume it has talons that most closely resemble finely-sharped blades. It moves inhumanly fast as well. Race: Cursed Spirit Gender: None Occupation: n/a Location: Within a 5' radius of Casara Talbot A Brief History: Shakti's history is closely intertwined with men. Men seeking to make sacrifice to the gods overtook a small village whose name has been long forgotten, and they razed it to the ground. They murdered the inhabitants, and took a small girl hostage. She became the embodiment of their sacrifice: mutilated, brutalized, violated, and left to die on a makeshift altar in the middle of the carnage, covered in her own blood, and filled with hatred. It was for this broken being that Shakti first emerged, using her blood as a portal between this world and the next. It had a form then, a being with slate gray skin, like a living statue, with black-feathered wings in the form of angels the girl had heard of in stories long ago. It carried her to safety and left her high in an enclave amongst the cliffs. She was mute, but Shakti didn't need her voice to respond to her, only her deepest desires.
For all that had been done to his master, Shakti returned in kind, leaving the village in tact, and the entrails of its inhabitants in the center.
Shakti cared for its master until she passed away of her injuries days later. Unbeknownst to Shakti and its late master, the guardian had not slaughtered the entirety of the village. Those who returned to the horror cried for the blood of the demon that had accomplished it, and called upon their mystics to bind it. They found the summoned being at the site of the lost village, having just finished burying its master in her homeland. Their mystics cursed the being to a torturous other realm, where its essence would be twisted and its mind broken.
The story became legend, and the legend diluted by retelling. It was said that at a place of great massacre, sacrificing an innocent soul lost in her anguish would bring forth a great demon to enslave and use in war.
In a more recent time, the dark ritual prescribed was performed in hopes of gaining a weapon to use, though it was performed ineptly. They released the guardian spirit and it attached upon its new master --- whom they had not expected to be their intended sacrifice. Shakti was bound without full form to the girl, Casara Talbot, and avenged her before her eyes. It had lost its essence, though, and saw nothing but evil to slaughter in everything near it. Aeons of suffering had left it uncertain of its true nature, a spirit of justice and retribution, and it became instead a plight upon Casara, attacking anyone who came near by night, even tormenting her mind in its own suffering.
Other: At present, Shakti can only manifest close to its master, and only in shadow. Its master, Casara, has begun to tame it simply by her virtuous spirit, tempering a murderous rage and desire to fulfill a purpose it has forgotten.
Casara 'Cas' Talbot --- Shylarah
Name: Casara "Cas" Talbot (pseudonym: Castor Mallory) Age: 19 Attire/Appearance: Casaya is a tall young lady, easily the equal in height of the average male human. Her rough childhood and active lifestyle have made her a lean, wiry woman, and genetics have been sparing with their usual gifts: her hips are narrow and her bust small. Her features are androgynous, though on the rough side, and she is a far cry from what most would call beautiful. She falls somewhere between mildly cute and unremarkably plain. She keeps her dirty blond hair cropped to a short bob, and even when she's not disguising herself as Castor Mallory, she comes across as a bit boyish. When she's at home, Cas likes wearing longer skirts that don't hinder her movement, and looser blouses. She also has a few hair clips that she is fond of. For her job as a courier, and most of the time when she goes out, she dresses in close-fitting attire, generally slacks and long sleeved shirts. Fingerless gloves, a hat, sturdy shoes, and of course her bag round out the outfit. Race: human Gender: female Occupation: courier Location: South End, but she moves around the East and West Ends as well.
Brief History: Casara was born in the South End, the second child of a couple that were reasonably well-off, at least in terms of what a human could achieve. Her father owned a shoe store, and her mother would sometimes make things from excess material. When the girl was five, her older brother was taken by monsters. He never returned, and Cas believes he is dead.
Shortly after her eleventh birthday, members of a small cult grabbed both her and her parents. They ritually tortured and killed the two adults in front of their daughter, forcing her to watch. As they approached her, she passed out, and when she came to she was the only one left alive, for those in robes had been slaughtered.
Cas wasn't sure what had happened, but she knew her parents were now dead. She fled the building, eventually finding her way back to familiar streets, and she made her way to where her aunt and uncle lived. A couple days later, she woke to find them lying dead in the kitchen, ripped apart. A neighbor she knew found her huddled at the other end of the house the next day, unable to bring herself to come close enough to the bodies to reach the door. That neighbor took her in, though he was unable to get the girl to tell him or his wife what happened.
That night was disturbed only by nightmares, but the next, when the neighbor's wife tucked the child into bed and blew out the light, a shadow rose beside her and sliced open the woman's throat. The dead woman's husband came running at Cas's screams, to find the girl knocked off the bed and the small knife her uncle had given her lying across the room after she'd tried to stab the shadow with it. Calling the girl cursed, he demanded she leave -- fortunately for him, from outside the shade's effective range. Having no choice, she left.
Over the next few days, Cas found herself having nightmares while awake, seeing destruction and bloody horrors in the shadows, and hearing chilling whispers. When the gang of street urchins found her, the girl was doubting herself and her sanity. She didn't know if the thing she'd seen at the neighbor's house was real or not. She couldn't rest, save when she could find somewhere during the day that was well-lit but out of the way. Nights were spent trying to ignore the voices and visions that tormented her. The other children thought her more than a little odd, but they took her in anyhow, letting her sleep in the farthest corner of the building they'd appropriated, and letting her keep a lantern lit as a nightlight, to keep the worst of the terrors away.
For three whole months, the girl's curse claimed no lives. She learned from the others where the best spots were to find food scraps that others might have thrown out, how and what to steal, and how to make the most of everything. But one evening, worn out from a close call and a narrow escape, nobody remembered to check that the lantern would last through the night.
Cas woke to screaming, and again she saw the awful shadow creature. It was clearer this time, as it tore into the panicking children. The girl grabbed the empty lantern and ran. Maybe she was crazy, but it seemed the man had been right -- she was also cursed. The next four years she spent on her own, only daring to get anywhere near other people while the sun was in the sky, and even then she avoided interaction.
A lone girl is not particularly safe, and eventually what little luck she had ran out. A band of unsavory ruffians caught her by surprise, and though she managed to win free of them, she was badly injured in the scuffle. Cas ran from them, but the group was determined, partially because she'd scored a knee to the groin of their leader. Realizing it was a choice between their deaths and hers, she found an alley that lay in shadow, and there she stopped. She kept herself from looking away as the shadow that haunted ripped the two closest apart, and frightened the rest away.
The girl lost track of things for a while, and when she regained awareness, she found the worst of her injuries had been roughly seen to. Still weak, Cas dragged herself a short ways to somewhere a little more sheltered than in plain view of anyone passing the alley. She wasn't strong enough to make her way back to where she now made her home, but at least she had some supplies, mostly what she'd stolen that day before things got messy. The weapons the gang used were none to clean, and several of the injuries they inflicted became infected.
When she recovered from her fever, her surroundings had changed. The man there said she was lucky some shadowy person had grabbed him and dragged him into the alley, or he wouldn't have found her. At first Cas didn't really understand how the sequence of events he relayed could have come to pass, but eventually comprehension dawned. When Terrence left to run on errands, she grabbed her knife and hauled herself off to find somewhere dark. Addressing her murderous shadow for the first time, she gave it an ultimatum: stop slaughtering everyone that came near, or she would destroy something it valued -- herself.
Things improved after that, though her years of avoiding darkness and people have left Cas a very different person. She is not very fond of people, especially crowds, and it took a long time before her fear of the dark ceased to be debilitating. She tries to keep people away by covering her shyness with a rough attitude and a stern expression, but she's not been as successful at this as she would like, as her nature tends to be more friendly. Between that and her work, Cas is on good terms with a number of people, though she acknowledges only a small number as actually being friends. One of these is Terrence, the doctor that saved her life. Her appearance has changed significantly as well, so that even in a dress she bears little resemblance to the demon-summoning child that rumors would claim she was. She continues to use the name Cas Mallory and deliberately present herself as a boy. Her relationship with the creature in her shadow has improved somewhat, mostly because while it does still deliberately torment her on occasion, it is no longer a constant thing.
Other: The shadowy Shakti is bound to Cas, able to manifest in shadows near her.
It was the beginning of another day in the city. The night shift had ended just hours ago, and the morning shift workers were making their way to work. Many of those workers were human, and were forced to walk. If they were lucky, they may have had a bicycle with which to reach their destination. Others fortunately lived near or on site of their work place, and so were lucky, as the metropolis was large indeed. The rest of the many species of the city however were, mostly, given privilege to modes of transportation such as high-speed electronic highways, trollies, even hovering vehicles that could soar through the skies, but not many humans. For here in this city, despite its location on Earth as one of the few standing civilizations, humanity was on the bottom rung, the lowest block of the totem pole, society's mud crawlers. Nearly five thousand years ago, more or less, humanity was at its peak- flying cars provided to the masses, space colonization was on the brink of discovery, and the governments were stable in their positions as the highest order. However, war was still rampant, poverty, famine, still all too common. The world was slowly dying, and the true reason for movement to space was revealed; nuclear war was all too likely to happen at any given moment. However, it didn’t happen. Apparently humanity was close to destroying the Earth, for the Gods themselves came to its salvation. The war was swift, if war it could have been called. Over fifty percent of the humans were killed, their cities ravaged, and the rest enslaved. Earth was reborn, it's wounds healed in an instant, and what was left of humanity was forced to build grand cities. Not for themselves, but for those who would now inherit the Earth. For when Men was overthrown, those creatures who lived in secrecy, in hiding, surfaced from the shadows. The creatures from old wives tales, so called fictional, and even things that were not imagined in dream or nightmare.
The primary city that was built was Enigma. While three quarters of the city were built with all that man had achieved, and even more by secrets the Gods now revealed to the builders, the fourth was constructed as the cities of old, made of stone and brick, but not a shred of technology to be found. For they were quite closely monitored when constructing this quarter, the one they were destined to live within. Punishment for the enslaved, for the enslavement so long held over the Earth. The Gods ruled with an iron fist for one thousand years, as more and more so called Mythical creatures sprung up around the globe, and migrated to the few cities; most made their way to Enigma. In time, the gods decided that rule over humanity should belong not to them, but rather to those that had been forced into hiding so long ago. And so, the Hierarchy of the Elders was created, and those that led were chosen, either by the Gods themselves, or by the people of the city. It has been four thousand years since the gods departed, leaving the world in the care of the Hierarchy. More creatures have continued to make their appearance, even entirely Alien species in some cases. But Humanity has not been idle. An organization, dubbed Chaos, had arisen in the years of the Hierarchy's rule. While open warfare was scarce, the Humans continued to fight a war of espionage, subtlety, and sabotage against the ruling body of their city. The ultimate goal was to reclaim the rights they once had over the planet, starting with Enigma.
So it was, another day. The nocturnal creatures were now going off to their respective homes, and there was a brief period where the city lay comparatively silent, then it is alive once more with creatures of many different species moving to and fro, conducting their business. There were few clouds, the sun was rising over the entertainment district and, for most, it was a beautiful day, full of promise. For others, it was simply another day of plotting, preparation, and shady dealings. It was another day, in the city of Enigma.
@shylarah Humans with Magic are allowed, but if the Elders knew of their magic, they would definitely keep a close eye depending how strong that individual might be.
Chaos is the rebellion of humans gather to take back Engima... could even have creatures/ beings that don't exactly agree with the slavery and mistreatment of the humans.
You're more than welcome to play more than one character! I might be doing this as well, depending if I need to balance things out and I'm totally down for a demon-human pair :3
