History

Life Before The Outbreak Isaac, the son of Malaysian immigrants, was always the child his parents did not expect. While they wanted their son to be well off and have a good job like a lawyer or doctor. Isaac had other plans, for his interests were not in knowing laws or fixing people. But something he is good at cooking. A talent he discovered in his teens and developed a passion for. Resulting in a dream of running his own restaurant. His parents were mixed about at first but slowly came around. However, it took some convincing on his part for years before they saw his talent.

Things were looking good for Isaac, and he managed to get into Walnut Hill College in Pennsylvania. Doing well and earning some on-site experience and by the time he graduated. He was able to get a cooking job at a major restaurant. There, he proved to be a good and reliable chef. Earning himself a good start to his journey of being a chef.

For years, he worked there, but as his savings were big enough, he considered it was time to follow his dream of running a restaurant. Which after spotting a chance to open one in New York City. Isaac took the chance to buy a location and, after some time of setting things up and finding an apartment for himself near Central Park. He opened his restaurant, named the Twin Seasons, and to his joy, people liked it and left good reviews. Realizing that his dream has come true and the restaurant is going to live. He broke down in tears of joy and thanked his staff for this.

Now, after two months of living in New York City. Isaac is doing well and is happy with his dream complete. He has started to think about other things like marriage and other things in life he can do now his dream has come true. But as he will discover, life has something else for him.

Wyatt, despite how some people think, comes from a privileged background. As in, his parents were rich. He never had a problem with getting the stuff he wanted growing up and was given most of the attention as he was the eldest of his siblings. While he tried to keep this a secret while growing up so as to be treated as a normal person. It became harder as he grew up, as his siblings did not think the same way he did. Which complicated things for him.

But, as he grew up and around the time he entered high school. His parents started "guiding" him towards what they thought was the best for him and for his future. Mainly they picked his classes and electives without paying much mind to what Wyatt wanted. He hated this and the only solence he had during his classes was band class. As his parents thought he should know something musical. Which he was assigned percussion and loved it. Enough that he managed to convince his parents to get him a drum set and would practice for hours until one day his parents stopped this since they deemed that he was drifting away from what they wanted for him.

By the time he graduated from high school, his parents had already lined up his future, and he reluctantly went to attend the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and was forced to attend the business school part of the university. While he did good somewhat, after two years of this he just had enough. Wyatt was tired of doing what his parents wanted him to do without even considering what he wanted and after a long argument with his parents. He dropped out of St. John's College and was cut off from his parents' money.

Now free from his parents, Wyatt thought he would have an easy time focusing on what he wanted and moved back to Santa Fe, but after years of being used to having the money to get whatever he wanted. Wyatt would struggle and find himself in a dead-end job as a clerk at a local business. While unable to find a new job at the moment and a way out of this situation without going back to his parents. While unknown to him, his way out is an invitation to his high school reunion. Where things just might get better for him.

So, while there is nothing wrong with the CS besides your character needing to be older by four or five years. It would help if you said what was your character's life outside of music or why they want to make it in music so bad, and why this chance to join the band is the best shot they have. Since the characters are from situations they do not want to be in, and see the band as a way out. So just keep that in mind, as it might be difficult if things do not work out.
