With a quiet nod, Aleyn went to sit down in the chair Charlotte gestured to, ignoring the angry American and the Romanian magician. If they were to quarrel more, then it would be something, but Aleyn prefers some peace right now, so they will be ignored unless physical blows come about.

"Though I am not English, I am Manx, but I doubt you have heard of that or my home in the British Isles, so I will just remain quiet on the subject unless you wish to know." He grabbed a bottle of port and poured himself a glass, taking a sip of it with a soft smile. "It is better than my gin, yes, my lady, but I think I should limit myself today. I do not wish to overdo it."

"Okay, I also plan on returning here and seeing where this goes. Plus, being paid in Swiss Francs is not bad, but I do not know how much that is in Pounds." Aleyn taking another sip of port, and his eyes locked on Charlotte's eyes. Then, his tone shifted from friendly to hesitant. "The reason I am in Bavaria is a.... personal matter. I would say more, but you would probably not believe it. Most do not, but all I am going to say is that I am here for a reason, and who knows? Night Watch might just be the break I am looking for if they can help me with my... business."

Charlotte maybe could tell that Aleyn was trying to hide a hint of sadness in his eyes for a moment before taking a long sip of port and the sadness going away. "So, if I might ask, why do you think the Night Watch invited you here? Just curious since I have an idea why they invited me, and I can only guess about the others."

The Hawthorne family has been in the town for five years now but has mostly kept to themselves. Though Lara and her brother Zach tend to be more active than their stepfather Grayson or as he likes to be called, Gray. Before being a family, the siblings and Gray had their ups and downs in life before meeting and Gray taking the troubled pair in. They have been together ever since and are a tight-knit family, Gray seeing a second chance at having a stable family and the siblings having a good parent in their lives. It was Gray's idea to move to a quiet, small town, and he figured that would be a good place for the pair to grow up after all that stress in their lives. An idea that the twins agreed to try out and so far have not regretted it.

Grayson would end up meeting his future wife while with the army and would leave the army in order to marry her and have a family together. They would end up with two kids. However, this would not last, and after problems and fights, Grayson would end up divorced. Though he was still able to see his kids. For years, he lived on his own, just getting by. One day, he came across a pair of runaway children. They told him their story and he let them stay at his place. When child services became involved and found that the children needed a new home and had no other relatives. Grayson offered to take the two in and after some talk with child services and the two children. It was agreed, and the three have been together ever since. It was Grayson's idea to move to a quiet, small town to help his new children grow safe and sound. Huddeen was a choice that he would not regret moving to so far. All he wants to do is make sure they grow up well and can handle themselves once they are ready to be on their own. After Temple said his piece and he went to drink some port. Aleyn could not help but feel interested in what Temple said. Perhaps they could help him with his problem. He wondered what the others thought of this as he looked around. There is quite an assortment of characters here, and how many will stick around, he thought. Still, they were brought here for a reason, and if he was summoned here because of his problem, then he was curious how the others here were selected as well.

This did not stop him from reaching down to his flask, and he took a large sip before returning it to its place on his person. As he looked around, one person stood out from him—a young woman by the looks of it, but smaller than most women he had met. Charlotte was her name. To him, she stood out the most, and she was the same woman he talked to earlier at the door. Why was she invited here, and maybe he could find out?

So Aleyn hoping he does not make a bad impression on Charlotte. He walked towards her and started talking in a friendly tone. "Hello, Charlotte, and do you mind if we talk for a bit? I am just seeing how some of the others feel about this. My mind is made up, but I wonder who will show up tomorrow."

"The cafe is my mother's pride and joy, so I am glad you like the coffee." He chuckled, he knows the coffee there was good, but it was nice to hear good things about it. Do not mention it, it is always nice to talk to someone new and show them around," he said.

He followed Kat and joined her at a smaller spot that did not have many tourists. "That is the thing about Azul Days, Kat. It is one of the few times we get to celebrate and have fun as a community. I do not know, but everyone just lets out their party person and has fun. I do not know how to describe it, but it always leaves tourists or newcomers to the Isles surprised, so I can understand why you feel that way." Andrés spoke in a kinder tone, and now that he had thought about it, He had never really spoken to a newcomer to the Isles before, not really. But so far, things are going well with Kat, and he wants it to stay that way.

When Kat showed off her tattoos, Andrés looked at them curiously and spoke up. "Nice tattoos, and can I ask how many you and why you hot them? Just curious, is all, and you will find that not many people here have tattoos, including myself. Though... I have thought once or twice about getting one, and you can blame wanting to piss off my old man for that one."

Andrés listened intently to Kat about her being treated like a treasure hunter. His tone was now sounding sympathetic."I can understand that one, the people here are protective of the blue diamonds, and there is no shortage of people wanting to harvest them for their own interests. But as long as you stay true to your mission here, then I feel like you should be fine." He gave a reassuring smile and spoke in a friendly tone. The amount of foreigners that want to discover and take the Isles's blue diamonds is not a short list, but the people always make it hard for them. So it is nice to find one foreign that is not out for the blue diamonds and is here for honest work. If only more foreigners were more like her. He did accept her apology but said that it is good to release some steam from time to time.

Andrés took the time to finish his drink and was glad it was as good as he remembered it. Another thing he enjoyed before leaving the Isles for the mainland and it seems like some things never change.

When Kat wanted to go, Andrés happily went with her. "And so we shall and I will make sure not to not walk too fast or step on that foot." The last thing he wants to do with Kat is to make her foot hurt even worse during Azul Days.

"Well, I do know of one thing..." But as Kat started to dance, Andrés thought, sure, what not, as he felt the energy of the night and seeing she wants to despite her hurt foot. So the two started to dance, but he would not try to spin her. Andrés might have been comfortable enough to dance, but he is not at that level of comfort with her yet. But, as the night progressed, who knows and it is Azul Days after all.

Bomoh was quiet as he followed and watched CAPTCHA do her thing. He liked the idea of getting information from the homeless, and they were eager once given some food. Granted, some of them had some choice words to describe the vultures's leader. It made him remember his life growing up in the abandoned parts of Kuala Lumpur and how the homeless there would sometimes help him out. Even in the worst situations, kindness can be found, Bomoh discovered, though it can be hard to find sometimes.

Either way, they got some info, though he would rather not have offered the homeless Novacoke. Bomoh may be a shadowrunner but, he is also a medic and he knows what Novacoke does to people. It gets worse when they get addicted to it, and he does not like to remember the people checking into his old street clinic because of an overdose.

Still, he said nothing and as CAPTCHA was eating her soy bar, he spoke up but sounded a bit surprised, "Soykaf cups? I mean, I have been on some weird jobs, but stopping a train because of that. That is very weird, but I guess with corporations, anything can be used against a rival." Which makes Bomoh is glad that he is not a corpo.

Then when CAPTCHA mentioned that Tenno had abanded the job, he spoke again. "Oh, so he is gone. Our employer will probably be pissed that he left, but at least our employer did not pay him in full." Bomoh crossed his arms. He did not have a problem with the human, though they barely met and now probably never, but like CAPTCHA said. At least they do not have to see him get hurt.

"So CAPTCHA, what is our next move, you think? We have some info here about the Vultures, and it sounds like maybe we should not go to them based on what the homeless said about their leader. It is one thing to deal with a gang, but it is another to deal with a gang with a messed up leader. So maybe we should check out the Forgotten Greens next and see what their deal is. However, we have a window to go into the district before things become hot again and see what we can find out about the girl. What are you thinking?"
