Blind in a New World

So Illium is where he is at, wherever that was. The name does not sound familiar to him, and a question formed in his mind. Where is Illium and... He made a long sigh, more questions, it seems, but at least he knew where he was and with people who could tell him more. If they wish to fill him in. Though the younger man with blond hair seemed familiar to him somehow and he seemed more friendly than the horned one. Meko, the horned one's name based on what the blond one said. Also, the survivors of Shalut are what the blond one called himself and the other two. But, still, that name holds no meaning to him.

Still, it is better than nothing so far, and more information should come in time, hopefully. However, it seems like he was not the only one with a missing memory. The others with him were in the same situation, but who were they and why? Where they were companions of his and suffered the same fate or something else entirely? Well, he can't ask what they do not know, and maybe the people here have an answer to this. At least a diction to guide them towards if they know that is.

He would silently listen to what the others were saying, and the one that stuck out the most for him was the man with half his head being fire. How does someone wind up like that? Was he born that way or cursed, or was it something else?

But, his attempts to get one of them to stick their hand into the fire and, by extension, his head was... very weird. He is not sure why someone would do that, and when one of them spoke, the woman with grey hair, he replied while looking in her direction. "That is a very good question." Sounding serious and when the fact he can not recall even his own name. If he cannot do that, then how is he able to survive in this world?

Since the words bring with him dread that is apparently caused by the old woman's words. The gods did this to Illium, and what kinds of gods would just reduce a place like this to ruins? Are the beings who did this really gods or something else? But, if it was the gods, then why do this?

More questions and little answers, the survivors should know more though. So, turning to their direction, he again spoke but in a more relaxed tone. "Can you tell us more about this place and why the gods chose to destroy it?" And what are your names? I... do not know mine, unfortunately."

What a week, Reman thought as he happily got out of bed. For the past week, he had been talking with the locals and exploring the city. Learning what he could and it was a present surprise to learn that there are more settlements out there in the world. Not just Tu Zin Which just made Reman even more curious about the outside world. Though as one would think, not all humans in the wasteland are friendly. It is a shame but a cold reality since it is the wasteland, after all.

Reman stretched after leaving his bed and as he started to get ready for the day. He stopped halfway to look out the window in his room. Greeting with him the sight of the rising sun and the rest of the city. Gazing at the sight for a moment of glee before resuming getting ready.

It was nice of the townsfolk to give them someplace to stay, and while it is not as good as his home back at Ba Sing Se. This place has its own charm to it, and he cannot ask for luxury accommodations, nor would he. This is new territory for him, and it is best not to piss off the locals by demanding the best the city has.

Either way, as Reman finished getting ready, fully clothed and awake. He walked over to a table that had Mova's case on it and stared at it. While having Mova with them could be useful for the expedition, there were two problems that he could not fix. One was power, as there was no easy way to recharge her, so he should only use her when needed. Two was that she was starting to glitch. Reman noticed it last week during the battle with the sandworm, and while it would be easy to fix normally. The tablet that was connected to her that he would use to fix her was broken, and with no other way to make a new one. That meant she may start to act weird while in use.

So Reman weighed the pros and cons of Mova's situation and if he should bring her along. After a long moment, he decided that the pros outweighed the cons and decided to bring her with them. Her recon abilities would be very useful, and as long as she was used only when needed, that could prevent her from getting worse. However, it is not bad yet.

Before, Reman left his house with a Mova in tow in her steel case and his pistol on his person. He made himself some breakfast, a meal the locals here called the Spirt Omelet. Basically, it's a normal omelet but with some edible spirit plant that grows nearby as a spice of sorts. The combination was very delicious, surprisingly, and Feyi showed him how to make it.

Now, with a full belly and satisfied, he left his house and went to where the trucks for the expedition were. Quietly walking down the streets, watching the people and looking around. A week ago, he could not imagine being out of Ba Sing Se, and now he is not just out of the city but in a new one that he could only guess was around at the time. Some week he had and Reman started to think about how his family would feel about his disappearance. Would they be worried? Probably, though, to what extent, he did not know, and would they try to figure out what happened to him? Again, he does not know. But Reman feels he made the right decision and so far, he does not regret it.

After walking a bit and finding the expedition starting spot, he spotted Sumire and Feyi at the trucks. "Hey, you two," Reman said to them and waved as he got closer to the two. Stopping as he reached the two trucks with a happy smile on his face. "I see you two are here and I guess I am early since the others are not here yet." Reman looked at the filled trucks, "does anything else need to be loaded in, or are we just waiting for people now?"
Young adults is fine with me and I try to get a concept out.
Javier Xirau

Right as Javier was about to go back to finishing the test. That was when he noticed the ghost that had appeared. At first, he did not say anything and simply stared at the thing with a surprised gaze as the others reacted to it. Then his slowly dropped his pencil and moved away from the ghost to where the others were while briefly breaking eye contact with it to address the others.

Javier looked to see how Danny and Victor were doing. Victor was rightfully scared, and Danny was like him. Replying to what Danny and Vicotr said, "Yeah, it is peaceful, but for how long? I think that is a ghost or something weird." Javier kept his gaze on the ghost, just in case it did something new like being aggressive or moving towards them.

Again, replying to Danny after thinking about their options. "I think we should get help with this since I am not sure about my ability to trap this thing right now. So yeah let's get Gillmore and Rochester before it does something bad."
Ven Ferr/Downtown Grey Vale

Ven could see where he was could see the stranger who was fighting with the last of the imperial soldiers. He would ignore her now as the fight with Uion was more important. So along with his fellow Power Rangers, with his swords ready to go. He charged Uion and despite still being in an empowered stance. Having to defend from three sides was still a challenge for the Imperial lieutenant. While he was able to defend himself from two of them, mainly Ven and Grydon. Blocking the attack from Ven and Grydon. Seeming on the defense, he would fail to defend the angle from the Blue Ranger. Thus leaving his back open for an attack by Raziel for a limited time.

Also, all could see that the low yellow aura around Uion was starting to fade, and his speed and strength were starting to fade. But, the proud imperial tried not to show weakness despite failing empowerment.

Sarah would find that the remaining imperial troopers near her had been eliminated, none were showing signs of getting up. She was now in the clear and now had a choice. Stay, where she was either help end the battle or simply watch. But also take this time to leave and see the rangers at another time given the rangers are still distracted. Though when she will have another opportunity to see the rangers in person. So the choice is hers.

I got an idea and I think it works for both high school or adults. Someone who works at the local movie theater or their family owns it.
Interested, but not sure what to play as so far.
