Don't think I don't see you creepin' on my profile.

Though chances are it's because I was creepin' on yours.

Alrighty. Back from vacay. Let’s break this down piece by piece. Not gonna use any PM info because that’s playing dirty.

One- but this is minor since it'll be resolved once you PM us, is I have no idea how the Semblance works

This is fair. Can’t send the PM rn since busy but the TLDR is just selectively activated attraction/repulsion centered around stuff with his aura injected in it. It’s not super elaborate.

Secondly- and this is more important- Atlas would never allow a Dust thief to be extradited. Like, ever. You do remember who runs the country, right?

Pre-Fall Ironwood isn’t the paranoid militant Ironwood, you know. He’s reasonable before the world goes to shit. Yang assaulted Mercury, and he believed the illusion claim. Even afterwards, Weiss attacks a civilian because she was slighted, and he takes her side. He’s shown to be understanding of other people. A stressed out minor sticking to his guns is not hard to pick up on, and even someone like him ought to understand lack of cooperation etc in this case.

Regardless, I’m aware I can solve this problem by changing one name, so I’m only going to answer the question you posed and not talk about it further.

Plus, I don't think Vacuo would want a known, violent Dust thief at Shade- being that Shade is the only form of authority they have. It sort of goes against the mutual-cooperation-to-avoid-death culture that Vacuo seems to have.

There is no contradiction with Vacuo or Shade’s spirit. Vacuo doesn’t care who you are. That’s the point of Vacuo. It’s in the maxim: “If you can survive here, you can be here.” There is no ambiguity there. It’s even in your OP. It’s also pretty clearly stated most Vacuans don’t care about the law, and being a criminal doesn’t preclude working together to avoid death in the first place. Logically, the icon of the area should bear some similarities to the area itself.

But for the sake of it, let’s say Shade operates on a similar order as other academies and otherwise isn’t influenced by the spirit of the nation. Beacon Academy has allowed: two murder and pillage bandits who only became huntsmen to know how to beat huntsmen, a fresh White Fang defect, and a cheater that got in despite heavy implications Ozpin was aware. This does not include the antagonists because I can’t imagine they entered through normal channels.

Shade is explicitly less rigid than Beacon. Therefore...

Though his strengths could use with some more elaboration, whether in his personality, backstory, or on their own.

You’re talking about his Level 10 Rogue class skills, I imagine. Which, to be fair, I skimped out on that yeah. But everything else is pretty explicit about how and why, or there’s enough elsewhere to figure out how and why.

he's still a hot piece of ass

Yes, I do believe that’s why I chose that picture.
I mean the public CS is finished so I might as well just...

I believe with tobiax’s newest character, there’s still a slot untouched?
I've been quiet for a couple days, so I'm just stopping by to status update on my CS. At the moment I am trying to hash out the backstory concept and figure out the semblance for this character.
Noted. I will do my best in this coming days.
Do you still require players?
Hi. Just shopping around roleplays and spotted this one. Although this roleplay is not active nor am I part of the original cast, I would very much like to be notified if this roleplay is relaunched. I'm a big fan of the series.

@Vongola_Hasayo
Um. I'll preface this post with the statement that I don't plan on participating in this RP at the moment, but I'm willing to drop my two cents in to help out a fellow roleplayer since I do enjoy the Rising of the Shield Hero franchise.

If you want to run the setting "as is" (i.e. Naofumi etc don't exist but the characters of the RP do), the best way to run this in my opinion would probably be as a Shield Hero + Party roleplay with the Shield Hero as the GMPC. The Shield Hero is more reliant on their party to take any action (read: players are significant) and is capable of defending them (read: bailing them out) effectively with their weapon. Plus the Shield Hero has all the lore baggage that the other heroes don't have, which makes for interesting potential plotlines.

I would recommend against a Four Heroes + Party RP since that invites spotlight stealing, and requires a concession for the "all heroes must journey separately" rule. Or like, four players max unless people really want to play party members which, to be fair, is not really unlikely.
Hiya crew, I'm Thundere and I've been roleplaying for a solid five years or so, not counting a long hiatus in the mid 2010s (which ends today!). I started out roleplaying on Gaia and Fanfiction.net, and kind of just jumped around sites to get my fix.

I can spit out between three and five paragraphs and mostly deal in anime-style stuff (as you might have guessed) but I also dabble in other genres like fantasy and scifi. I prefer RPs that are 1x1 or smaller in size since I like a lot of tight focus.

See you 'round later, friends.
