Current Anyone out there trying to write about some sad cowboys and cowgirls? I love me some western, and god is it tricky to find.

First DnD session went awesomely! My players loved it, and a dragonborn was nearly killed by a bugbear.

Bio

Heyo! I'm Tybalt, and I'm an alcoholic...

Shoot, I think I'm doing this wrong. Y'know what, I'mma just throw up a character sheet for myself, y'all know how to read those.

Name: Tybalt
Species: Human. But, like, kinda Hobbit, too?
Age: 24
Rank: Peasant, probably.
Personality: Hard to nail down since I'm the one writing it, but I'm a type three on the Enneagram if that's worth anything.
Description: Two arms, two legs, a head, no feathers.
Abilities: Casual to advanced writing. I love a good advanced, but it's gotta be engaging as well as deep. Advanced is an investment, so I rarely keep up with more than one at a time.
Likes: Pirates, Knights, Cowboys, and everything in-between. I don't mind a good romance, but I'm just as happy to have a bro-tp as an otp. I also love anything by Brandon Sanderson, so if we've got some other fans out there, hit me up in the pm's.
Dislikes: This is less a dislike than a personal failing, but I tend to over-commit to too many stories, then not respond very quickly. You have been warned, I guess.

Sounds good, boss!@HueMan I nominate not me to be leader!
Aster

It was strange how comforting the inn was. Despite not really knowing anyone there very well, and even though the quest they'd all just completed hadn't really been all that difficult, Aster was glad to have the chance to just rest for a while, even if that meant that she had to put up with constant conversation for a while more. She didn't mind either of her de-facto partners; they actually seemed to be pretty well-meaning. Dirk had a powerful voice and a brash personality, but was simultaneously a caring, somewhat-idealistic young man. Kajin was far more pragmatic, and it was comforting to know that someone was taking this seriously, and was willing to put forth the effort necessary to keep the little group safe and moving in the proper direction. Despite Dirk's straightforward nature, Kajin struck her as a natural leader, if a behind-the scenes sort. Dirk, the cheery tank, would make an excellent people-person and head-basher if it came to that. What role did that put her in? She was apparently pretty okay with the sword, but her lack of experience was a definite weakness, as it left her woefully unprepared for the natural twists and turns of RPG tropes.

"I'm all for dungeons if you lot are. I'm pretty good in the dark, as far as navigating goes. Oh, um. For the rest of you folks, I'm Aster. I'm a swordsman, and I'm with those two." She gestured to her teammates. "Thanks for the armor, Kajin. Really." She accepted the cloth armor, then rose suddenly from her seat. "I... I'm going to go get changed." Before anyone could respond, she hurried away, stepping into a corridor to equip the protective garments. They fit quite well, for being player-made, and had a bit of give to them, as though padded. They wouldn't make any sort of fashion statement, but would hopefully keep her alive for a while longer than she deserved.

After a few minutes, she returned to the table, sitting beside Kajin, only a seat away from Dirk. She wasn't used to being surrounded by so many people, and keeping track of all the faces was a challenge in and of itself. It was so overwhelming, in fact, that she closed her eyes and just let the sounds of the inn wash over her. It was a calming, familiar sensation, and it was comforting to just spectate silently as the other, more experienced players discussed team-ups and strategies for the future of the game.

@Achronum @Duoya
@HueManYeah, I got you there, I'm just trying to figure out what the plan is for the two I was hanging with.
Yo, anyone have any idea where my peeps are at? The two folks I was hanging with, that is.
@Prints AvoidThat's the plan! I know more lore and such for Era 1, but 2 will be fun, too, I think.
Approved! Looks great to me.@Kalleth
@RiaxhI definitely agree for Character creation, and you all can add whatever details you like; I just figured some of that might be better to come out naturally/ be at the discretion of the writer.
Cock-tower Ech-hoes.
@RegitnuiKandra is 100% okay, though you should pm me your profile first, as being a Kandra is a lot more effective if few know about it. Koloss-blooded or Koloss are totally fine, too, so long as you can play them well. It's more about being able to play the character well than about potentially overpowered races/magic types. Since we're likely in Era 2, we won't have full Mistborn or Full Feruchemists.
The chaos supplied a beautiful opening, one not to be ignored or taken for granted. Mira peeled herself free from the bar and slunk sinuously through the crowd, each footstep landing softly yet surely on the boarded floor. If she was to make it out of this place, she needed to find someone who looked intimidating enough to keep away potential threats, yet not so mighty that she couldn't take her leave should she decide that she was tired of company. It was a half-moment decision, and she was in the melee almost instantly. A few careful ducks and sidesteps put her directly behind the now-fully-bestial lion-man. With a breath to steady herself, Mira firmly tapped the man's shoulder, sidling up to him with all the fluid grace of a serpent.

"Oh, dear. It's getting quite messy in here, isn't it? I don't suppose you'd like to get out of here, hmm, darling? I can think of ever so many things I'd rather do than watch a fight, and I wouldn't want you to get hurt in this mess." She trailed one slim-fingered hand down his muscular chest. "We wouldn't want to mar this..." With that, she took his mighty hand in her dainty one, and made a beeline for the door, taking the same path that the mute girl had just moments before.
