Bio

I am a rather middling RPer who likes to believe they are actually at an advanced level. This is of course, nonsense created by my desire to be known as good at something. In otherwords, I'm kinda okay at things and stuff.

Aww, thanks buddy. Sorry I haven't posted lately, I've been pretty busy.
Aye, here is where I am.
@Natsu

OFFENDED? I"M NOT OFFENDED!

No, but I really just wanted to wait for @Kaalee because this whole thing didn't seem like a one sided affair you know? I'm pretty sure that she'd have something to say about all of this.
Gee, I don't have the time in every single day to post. Where has patience gone these days, harrumph.
Holy moly, don't tell me we are actually going to start again! Gotta crack my knuckles for a day or so before I'll be in the Kristof mood. Glad to see you back Nicky boy.
It was clear that the young Pen did not quite understand Ferghus's direct ways. Sure it wasn't quite the standard for the way things are done in these parts but the 'undercover' commander couldn't help it. His honesty was almost to a fault, somewhat of a flaw seen by many, but surely there are those who appreciate a man that is not subversive in the slightest.

Oh good! They know each other. Ferghus had thought to himself, was it foolish to stop the junior marine before he had even fully understood his motives? No, absolutely not. The commander looked on as the two went back in forth for a bit. He couldn't help but feel a tiny bit embarrassed, the men in this head quarters would likely become the man's subordinates after all. Well, he resolved that he'd simply have to help them learn the ways of being a man!

Shaken back to reality after being lost in his thoughts of grandeur, the commander mumbled something along the lines of an agreement to find something to fill his stomach, not like that slop they serve back at HQ.

And into the throngs of a run down shack the pair went. Eyes all about, Ferghus was sure to look his most imposing, especially to other huddled groups of marines here and there. The two sat down at an empty rounded table of some almost rotted wood. Now this is a shit hole Ferghus couldn't help but feel at home despite the thought.

After contemplating getting the eggs from Pen's suggestion, he could use another vacation after all, he decided against it and with gusto demanded, "A bowl of fresh beef stew! And add some potatoes in there as well!" A hearty meal for a hearty man.
Alrighty, that's better. I can't help but getting beaten to the post while writing for the stone giant.
And yet again I was out posted. Damn, I must do some editing. Thanks to the glacial nature of Orðabók.
The ponderous lord of stone dropped to a knee with a thud, almost to say that this was more important and worth the time than his meeting with the Fall King. Placing a hand of ore upon his chiseled chin Orðabók wondered for a moment at the rudeness of the Duchess's gesture at this point ignoring the warriors of the realm and their advances. And just as the man of rock was opening his mouth to respond a voice broke out and interrupted him.

"I can answer for myself" "Yeah, my name's Max, Max Napras." And as to the Hermit's surprise, the boy had not been so enthralled with the treachery of the fall court. And so a smile erupted from Orðabók's stony visage, until he heard the next part, which had drained away to a solemn look.

The boy was tricked, this was to be expected, but now it had seemed that they plan on keeping him against his own will? Such was not the way for the great giant of rubble. With a sharp glance toward Max's 'captor' Orðabók spoke in his usual timbre, "These creatures do not claim ownership over you, nor would I see it done." The boy needed his help after all, though whether he simply wanted to seek the knowledge of a mortal or he genuinely cared of the human's well being remained to be seen.

Soon after the man of stone added, "If you wish, I may guide you from this place, though you have no reason to trust me. These forests are quite a bother however." All the while being oblivious to the noble's reactions toward the conversation.

And just as Orðabók had finished speaking, the crackling wind sprung out in all directions. Irking the stoic Fae, especially the words carried upon the gusts. Ugh, the rhyming that the Fall king had prided himself over for so long. If anything kept the stone giant out of the Fall court, it was that.

But such words had rung true, it was foolish for the duchess to lash out at Orðabók at all, considering his worth to more than just the fall court. It almost felt like cheating, "Looks like the lord of this land would like an audience, young Max. Shall you tag along?"
Taking a stony finger to his chin, the lord of rock and rubble pondered for a moment. The question was a puzzler for sure, who am I, who am I? The young mortal hadn't even seen the golem for but a moment, and already asking such perplexing twisters. But, since he was somewhat short on time he opted for an easier answer, one that could not possibly reach the fathoms of such a question, "You may know me as the Hermit." the stone giant rasped in his earthen tone.

"And what would I have the pleasure to call you, young mortal?" He added, all the while barely glancing here and there at the fae of the fall court. Perhaps it was intrusion that he had sprung upon them, but then, he could learn so very much from the human. And thus, Orðabók would live with whatever could come of the encounter.

Surely these fae had not been keeping this boy as a pet for too long, unlike that ashen girl of the Fall King. And the mighty stone golem wondered of the poor mortality that leads to something so akin to slavery. Would they do the same to the young boy? Could Orðabók allow such to happen? He was a neutral force after all, but something surely didn't feel right to him.
