I am a rather middling RPer who likes to believe they are actually at an advanced level. This is of course, nonsense created by my desire to be known as good at something. In otherwords, I'm kinda okay at things and stuff.

"Oh, now I've caught up with you."

A ponderous voice bellowed from the dense thickets toward the gathered fae and mortal standing amidst the entrance of the fall duchess's 'village'. The great stone giant parts the numerous tress as he slowly but surely steps out into the open. A move that would be far from Orðabók's mind in normal circumstances. But this was not such a normal occurrence indeed.

His gemstone eyes set upon the poor young boy who was simply bedazzled by the goings on around him, of course, the sight of someone as imposing as a lord of rock couldn't exactly help. Drawing nearer to the group, he attempted to appear as non-threatening as possible, of course, he had vague recollections of the duchess, and one her position would likely at least know of the hermit, so there shouldn't be all that much trouble.

None of this had particularly eased the golem, no, he was simply too enthralled by the prospect of the mortal's knowledge to worry about the encounter with other fae. With little more than a gesture of greeting to the fall noble, Orðabók leaning close to young Max and spoke in his normal dull tone, "You wouldn't happen to be a human, would you?" Just to be sure.
@Natsu

Thanks! I have no idea who that is, but I assume its a compliment.
@LadyRunic

I'm not entirely sure why you feel that way, but yeah, plushify!
Tagging along with his junior officer Ferghus had pondered about whether or not Pen already knew who the man was. No, surely an upstanding marine wouldn't go out of their way to say something like 'screw responsibility' to their superior. Not that commander had particularly cared about the remark. Maybe the boy had simply been free with his thoughts and open, or maybe --

"Can you believe this is still Headquarters?"

His thought interrupted, as they had often been, barely looking out upon the harbor. A much different scene to be sure, the Undertown as it appeared from above looked to be a regular pirate cove. But of course, that was not the case with a marine headquarters just a short distance away.

"Naw, its a whole 'nother world."
Ferghus remarked as the duo passed numerous unsavory folk. As well as many a shadowy buidling, of course it wasn't all that unsettling, sure he'd never been around these parts, yet as Pen had said, 'All bark and no bite'

Eventually the young marine stopped in his tracks, in which Ferghus mimed shortly after. The sounds of an argument were all too clear, a rather one sided one at that. Sensing quite a bit of trickery in Pen's voice, the commander placed a hand upon his shoulder just as he shuffled about.

"Whataya doin' boyo? Ya can't just walk up and take something like yer doin', ya gotta be direct with people like that!"
At which point Ferghus had been speaking rather boisterously, alerting the furious marine to the two's presence. To which the senior officer smiled and waved ever so harmlessly.
Look like you just barely beat me @Kaalee

I suppose I should edit my post now :(
The flora of the fall court had always put on a serene facade, the leaves breaking from their trees in lovely swirling colours of browns and reds. Its cool breeze that delightfully chilled those who preferred a cool environment. But this did not soothe the stone giant, no there are many a creature within this court that had unnerved Orðabók. Best that he be done with his tithe of knowledge to the king of fall. Lest he be turned into some less than unsavory art form.

Ponderously the lord of stone hobbled onward, through densely obscured thickets, his footfalls causing numerous ravens to flock in droves away, the ruler of this court would be expecting him. Eventually something had frozen the golem in his tracks, voices. While rare, it wasn't unheard of that the hermit would wander off of his hidden paths and bump into others, and here in the Unseelie lands, Orðabók had met many a foul fae. He must be on guard.

Peering into a grove-like clearing ever so stealthy, as well as a giant man of rock can be, he spots three souls conjoined in some manner. One, he had perhaps seen before, though he could be wrong, there were many nobles of the court. Another seemed to attend the first, and the last, most curiously indeed, had appeared to be fully human. Such is a rare encounter, even for one as ancient as Orðabók.
Without sensing any overt hostility, the golem's curiosity overwhelmed him. Striding out into the clearing as harmless as he can appear.

"Do I sense lost spirits in the wood?" he bellows in his dull and earthy tone. But by the time his words were uttered the three had already been off. His glacial movement must be to blame for it, had they simply not noticed him, or did they just not care? Orðabók couldn't help but to meander after them, how the stone man wished to speak with a mortal, he could engrave many a tablet with what could be learned from them.

@Natsu

YOU BETTER BE SORRY, HOW DARE YOU?
I see we have a killer in the midst. Perhaps Orðabók could encounter them on his way to the fall court.
@LadyRunic

That could work, I'd just have to think of some info of worth. What exactly would be of interest? Perhaps the affairs of other courts. maybe something about unrest in the Summer court, (As they have no current lord)
Hmm, guess Orðabók won't be the first Fae the boy encounters after all. I'm struggling to place him in at the moment, so I may be patient and wait out a good opportunity to post.
