Whelp the eather ate my post, hopfuly not but maybe. Ether way I should have at least the first part up tonight., sorry
im still up for it :D
Big post otw, hopefully up tonight but it might be tomorrow
Over the course of the war few could find fault with the effectiveness of ARC squads, their speed, their subtlety, their ability to get in and out without being seen. It was, however, these exact traits that made the fact that a few of these squads operated within the 419th surprising to some.

One of these such squads was Rancor squad.

Slightly larger than a normal ARC squad (topping out at eight members), Rancor squad was the resident advance demolition team of the 419th. They earned their name in action, coming from their ability to leave a path of destruction as wide and absolute as that of a rampaging Rancor. To their credit the clones of Rancor squad embraced the name, painting their armor the deep brownish/crimson coloration of Rancor skin, with only a few burnt amber stripes to mark their affiliation to the 419th. That and the inability to stay still for long, which was shared among the legion. As if to illustrate this point, each member of Rancor fidgeted with their weapons, taking them apart or loading and reloading them as the stood in the landed LAAT waiting for the dust off., They wouldn't have to wait long as Krayt exited the command post and mad his way to the gunship his, putting his helmet on as he walked.

Reaching it Krayt stepped aboard and pulled the attention of Rancor squad to him "Alright Listen up and listen well! Our remaining time on this forsaken, rust-bucket filled rock is hopefully short, but until the general leads us back up to space to lay in our comfy beds we will do our job! Now, today's job is this, A holo display of a small outpost not far from the droid foundry came into being from a projector in Krayt's hand, "This is believed to be the seps power generator, powering their Flack batteries that are making any push impossible. Our role here is simple, we get in, be blow it to atoms and we signal the general to begin moving the AT-TE's up. Simple right? Well I'd like to think so, but we all know the clankers are always full of surprises, so keep your eyes open and you rifles loaded. Now, Pilot if you would be so kind." Grabbing his own blaster rifle, Krayt reached up to grab the LAAT's hand railings, an action that was copied by the members of Rancor as the gunship raised itself of the ground, closed its doors, and shot off into the darkening night, its iconic warbling sound fading fast as it gained altitude.
Hypori, near sunset

for a moment the sun burned low in the sky, filtering it's rays through the ruined hull of the crashed Acclamator. A peace seemed to settle on the barren world, a peace that was shattered by the warbling cry of a V-19 Torrent as it cut through the atmosphere, followed by the unmistakable sound of several LAAT gunships, and two LAAT/c (each carrying a AT-TE) following in a tight formation. Dropping altitude quickly the air group skirted around the old wreak, dust kicking up from their passing. Coming around the bulk of the Acclamator the reason for the transport's haste came into view.

A battle raged between the forces of the 419th and a wave of droid attackers, a mix of what appeared to be a bulk force of B-2's and Homing Spiders. The clones of the 419th appeared to have dug them selves into several earthwork entrenchments, a mix of AT-RT's and AT-PT's harrasing enemy lines and supporting soft spots in the defensive positions. As for the large armor of the AT-TE's, their Mass driver cannons were raining fire from a long distance into large groups of droids or the Homing Spiders. Even a couple Juggernauts were in the fight, using their heavy armor, size, and anti-infantry cannons to funnel the rust buckets into the death zones.

In the middle of all this however is where Silas currently made his home. The hum of his blades an the electronic verr as they cut the air to impact and slice through droid armor, a symphony with the AT-TE's artillery providing the percussion. As the blades traced their way through the darkening light in an spinning, flipping pattern, it was clear that the modified light clone armor the Silas wore hardly impacted his speed and even dexterity. It was obvious that he had been doing this a while, and would continue to do so, had the soft beep of his communicator notpull him back to the earthworks.

Deactivating his sabers Silas touched the communicator to key its activation, the voice of Krayt coming in loud and clear over the small device "Priority message coming in for you sir, it Captain Iolis. Thought you might want to take this one in person."

Silias smiled slightly as he stood and waved a trooper to the now vacant position, and responded with a backwards glance to the waning battle "Thank you Krayt, tell the captain im on my way and tell the gunners to begin focusing fire on the remaining Spiders, the B2's have had a bad enough day already."

Breaking into a zig zagging run to avoid any incoming fire, the Jedi made his way into the ruined Assault ship, where the 419th had set up their main base of operations. Nearing the center of the base, several large holo maps displayed a constantly updating situation map of the battlefield, while others monitored and routed transmissions. The one that Silas was looking for however, stood near the center and already had the flickering blue image of Captain Iolis, the commander of the Relentless Intent, projecting from its center. As for Krayt, he was walking this way and that, his helmet slung under his arm as he shouted orders into the comms and to the support units. A grin still on his face Silas approached the Holo display and cleared his throat to catch the captain's attention "Whats your message Captian?"

Iolis turned slightly and looked a little startled, obvious that he was paying attention to something else when the Echani had spoke. "Ah yes, General Silas. We have those scans you wanted of the nearby droid foundry, and it seems that intel was just a bit off. IT seems that the Seps have left us a few... gifts surrounding key parts of the foundry, Heavy Flak Cannons. If you want to continue with plan youll have to find a way to take them out. Wish I could be of more help."

Silas waved his hand "Its alright captain, thank you for the information. Now im sure your a busy man so I'll let you get back to maintaining our orbital superiority."

Iolis only answered with a chuckle as he nodded and the holo link closed. Leaving Silas alone with his racing thoughts. If the 419th didn't take out that foundry, they would be crushed under the droids sheer numbers. But to get close to it with the AT-TE's they would need to get past the Heavy Flak Cannons, which would chew their armor up and spit it out. There had to be a way of taking those things down without unnecessary sacrifice, but how... wait... yes, that could work, the one weakness of the Flak grids found on other sep planets. Looking over to Krayt, Silas whistled a sharp sound, the sound Krayt knew to well meant that the general had an idea that he may or may not like. Still he looked up at Silas, who still somehow wore that near trademark grin, "Krayt! Put your helmet on and get me Rancor squad! You're going generator hunting."
alrighty! Post will be up soon!
Also just thought I should say. If anyone wants to run a padawan, I would be up for taking you up.
Name: Silas Va'aan

Rank: Master

Personality: A generally happy man, Silas seems to have adopted a combination of both the jedi's teachings and those touted by his Echani heritage. The result being a jedi who is light handed in terms of combat and in his personal life, and as at home in the battlefield as in the temple. A capable general, Silas has been known to defer military judgment to his commander at various times, and is all around very respectful of the clones under his command (often even being seen eating among them and joining in various down time games of chance). His thoughts as to why he dose this, is that "If one gets to know their soldiers, and becomes one of them in both mind and in spirit. Then they will give you 210% when the need arises."

Master (If Padawan): None currently

Legion Commanding: 419th Incursion Corps

Clone Commanding Officer: CC-4461 "Krayt"

Commanders personality: Off the wall, would be a good way to begin to describe Krayt. Being a veteran of many battles and one of the most senior members of the 419th, Krayt holds high regard among his contemporaries and subordinates for his tactical mind, as well as his honed combat abilities. However this is offset by his ferocity, which can get the best of him (and what earned him his nickname), but is right at home in the 419th. He prefers heavy weapons over normal clone armaments, and often has a rocket launcher as his backup weapon if conventional tactics fail.

Lightsaber (Silas's blade langth is slightly longer than a normal saberstaff, imaprting the look and feeling of an Echani dual blade weapon)

Lightsaber forms known/mastered: Form VI Niman (primary, Mastered), Form IV Ataru (secondary, Mastered), form VII Juyo (secondary, Adept/Not Fully Mastered), Echani martial arts (a supplementary to his primary form, Mastered).

Background info: The son of Seras Va'aan, an Echani, and Nor Va'aan, a human, the child who would come to be named Silas was adopted into the order at a relatively young age even for younglings. His training in form I progressed quickly, the young half-breed showing the natural talent of his mothers species with a blade, tempered by the sheer determination of his human side to get it right the first time.

When the time came for him to take on the role of a padawan, Silas found himself in the tutelage of master Ferres Undai, an older human. Her teachings were long and broad, with lessons coming from facets found in life, not just from books. One could say that Ferres could write a book on the living force and how it relates to heating broth for a soup, and in fact she probably could. But, as Silas realized, her teachings all made sense and helped the young padawan develop a deep connection with the force, both as a tool and as a living entity, even if soup was used to show it.

Master Ferres was also instrumental in Silas's development of his lightsaber style, not only by answering his questions about different styles and even teaching him in them, but by encouraging him to immerse himself in the culture and practices of his mother's people. This study allowed Silas to develop the "language" the the Echani "speak" in the action of battle, as well as shaping his lightsaber combat form into a fluid and cohesive extension of his personality and heritage.

Silas became a knight a the age of 17, his master presenting him with a gift after his ceremony. A small shaped metal pendent engraved with a single word Remember, and hung from a silken chord. After presenting the gift Ferres hung it around Silas's neck and without a single word tapped him on the side of the head, a gesture she would use to enforce lessons in his youth, and left the young Knight. Silas still wears the pendent to this day, few know of it's existence and Silas prefers it that way.

Truly mastering his fighting style in his early twenties, Silas would continue as a knight in service of the republic and order, durning this time he rose to be the general of the 419th, fighting alongside them in many battles and distinguishing himself as both a leader and a jedi. His ascension to Master rank came around his 30th-31st year of life.

Now 39, Silas still leads the 419th much in the same way he did as a Knight, refusing to allow his position to weigh him down more than it needs to.

Info on the 419th Incursion Corps: Nicknamed the "Warhammer of the Republic", the 419th Incursion Corps is characterized by an above average number of AT-PT's, AT-TE's, AT-RT's and A6 Juggernauts. Heavily armored and ferocious, the 419th is deployed to quite literally smash enemy positions or to enact drawn out sieges on entrenched worlds. Another characterization of the 419th is their tendency to 'decorate' their vehicles and walkers, with many being painted with stylized beasts renown for their great ferocity (an example being CC-4461's personal AT-TE being painted with a stylized Krayt dragon that runs down both sides). All paintings however are done in a burnt amber color, an allusion to the generals lightsaber color.

The backbone of the 419th in space is several Venator-class Star Destroyers, with the Venator Relentless Intent, serving as both their main command vessel and Silas's personal flagship. Each Venator is supplemented by several Acclamator-class assault ships, that also double as the 419th's planetary landing vehicles.
