"And now these villains shall be at my beck and call, lest I crush their bones beneath the very castle they call a headquarters." Shandris smirked, evidently pleased with her handiwork. Though she'd rather leave the building to its doom, keeping it in one piece gave her leverage over the others. Not only would they be forced to serve her if they wished the castle to stay standing, but it would also keep whatever might lay beneath the castle deep in its many, many chambers from being forever lost to history because of the landslide-causing earthquakes. Things or objects that might be helpful in her conquest against the horrid contraptions and kingdoms of the civilized world, in fact.

"Though, I suppose now it might worth saving the dolts. Otherwise my efforts would've been for naught." She continued, looking around the battlefield for anyone to no avail. Those she had fought beside must've been killed, caught up in the landslide, or probably even ran back to the castle like cowards. Knowing them, there was a strong chance it was likely the first one. Or at least that was how Shandris pictured it. They hadn't been able to do anything right so far, so how could they even live correctly?

With a tiresome sigh, Shandris drew her power forth; her person warping into the shape of a large owl. Taking flight, the druidess soared to the skies, looking for any sign of survivors or bodies that remained on the battlefield.
Zombie RPs always seem so easy but it's hard to make them last

Besides player activity and other things of note, I think zombie RPs struggle because of two main reasons splitting them into various little groups, cliques or communities.

First, you have the zombies themselves. Some people like slow TWD types or fast WWZ-like zombies. Others prefer the TLOU or L4D "infected". Just that splinters the potential playerbase since one might prefer certain kinds. For awhile, and still partly, I used to dislike the concept of fast, sprinter-zombies, preffering only the slow ones or the mutated infected types like in Dying Light or similar media.

Then, you have the tone itself. Are you going to go for a more rugged, survival horror approach, wherein people have to scavenge heavily and zombies are incredibly dangeous? Or are you going to go for a more guns blazing approach, such as what we see in the Zombieland movies? Personally, the thrill of a zombie story for me is more of the former.

Regardless of what you choose in the end, it'll likely affect your player pool/potential applicants, making it more difficult to keep a RP afloat.
@Yankee Accepted.

Opening post coming either today or tomorrow.
@BangoSkank Accepted.

@Yankee You still with us? I'll be working on the first post soon but I figured to ask while I'm around.
@Dark Cloud Preferably. I have two potential interested parties (Bango and Yankee), but I'm still waiting for sheets from them if they do plan on joining in the end.

They are talking about this post in the character tab.

That's the one; yes.
lol

@Vatonage It's so if I need to make changes to the sheet I can. When I need to.

Oh. That's fine. Feel free to but do delete the quotations. Sorry for the thanks BTW, trying to quote on a phone screen is a pain.

@NuttsnBolts Once he has quoted his sheet in the CS tab, can you hide my copy of it?
Water
@Vatonage Like use the quote function like this:

Yeah, I know how to quote. I was more asking why you're suggesting that you quote it.
