How much charisma do you think you'll give your character?

I'm still mulling over a few different ideas, but I do think that I'll have charisma, no matter which of them I go with.
I see I wasn't tagged - I assume I'm still welcome though, seeing as my character's header is still in the first post in IC?

About Yoh, I'm usually not a fan of DMPCs since it's so easy to even accidentally use DM knowledge with them. But I also feel it's a bit unfair if you don't get to use him at all, since you didn't originally sign up for GM duty. The whole making him a villain thing sounded interesting, but I'm not sure if that'd be interesting for you? Anyway, I won't make a fuss if he stays as a DMPC either.

What do others think?
Ah, I thought we were limited to the base classes Morgrym76 listed earlier? If not, I might look around some more too.
I think I'm going with a Rogue. Might be easier to stick with a non-caster class for my first run. But-- would I be allowed to use the "fixed" unchained version?

I did want to ask, are we only allowed the core races or would a tiefling be allowed for example? Not saying I'm going with one, just wanna check my options.
I'm interested as well. Never tried Pathfinder, but definitely eager to learn.
Wip, still figuring things out!

It worked. All but one of the stirges succumbed to Leanna's music and fell from the air, fast asleep. It was unfortunate that she hadn't managed to get them all, but she believed the others could slay the remaining one easily enough. She managed a pained smile, slowly lowering her lute. Its weight was starting to hurt.

That was, until someone called out to her. Leanna couldn't catch the meaning of his words, but she felt their impact quick and true. A wave of relief washed over her, allowing her to stand up properly and take another look at the battlefield. There, she saw who'd helped her; the very man she'd played a tune to earlier. The remaining stirge was still attached to his flesh, and he seemed unable to pry it off. A moment later, he was down. The stirge, having had its fill, detached from his unconscious body.

If only she had the energy to cast spells still, she could've done something to help. As things were, all she could do was hope the others tended to the unconscious man and killed the stirge before it hurt anyone else. As for her, she had but a rapier to use - and no skill with it to speak of. She had not found herself in many battles before. Her spells reflected that; sleep, healing, and-- ah, yes. She did have that, didn't she?

Leanna had done what she could to aid in the effort against the stirges. Perhaps it was time she redirected her attention to the troll instead. They'd been told to use fire to deal with it, yet no one seemed capable of producing any. If that was the case...

Her gaze darted around the chaotic tavern, desperate for a familiar flicker. Luckily enough, she did not need to search for long; oil lamps sat idly atop many a table to her left, some within a comfortable reach. A hand's reach, some might say - though not her own.

Leanna emerged from her hiding spot once more. With a flourish of her hand, another hand wiggled into existence above the closest table. With it, Leanna reached for the oil lamp, seizing it in a phantom grasp. Even after so many times of doing it, holding something yet not feeling it upon your skin was... strange, yet she refused to be distracted.

With practiced aim, she moved the hand as close to the troll as she could, flinging the lamp towards its head.

Tentatively interested. Would Okita be allowed?
Every bump against a wall was another bead of sweat on Duncan's brow. At one point, he wanted to just close his eyes and hope for the best. He'd done it on the court a few times; just closed his eyes and fired a Hail Mary shot when there was nothing left to lose. But more was at stake here than just a lost game, so he kept his eyes open and grit his teeth. Just a little more, and--

The truck crashed against the button, lighting it up with a promising glow. Duncan practically punched the air. "Hell yeah!"

At first, nothing happened. Duncan's momentary glee had already begun to give way to disappointment, when the wall next to them suddenly started to buzz. A moment later, the whole damn thing was gone altogether, replaced by a familiar sight. Duncan recognized the radio immediately. From somewhere next to him, he heard Pebs' nervous laugh.

In his case, the nervousness took the form of a scowl. "What the..."

It shouldn't have been possible. The way they'd traversed through the maze - it didn't align with this direction. Or at the very least, Duncan was pretty sure it didn't. He wasn't stupid, but he didn't exactly pride himself an expert on these things. The maze had been pretty disorienting - maybe he'd just gotten his directions mixed up.

Whatever the case, there was now a breeze blowing through the familiar hallway. And if Duncan had learnt anything from movies about people stuck in caves or collapsed buildings, a breeze was a good thing. It meant fresh air. It meant freedom.

Pebs didn't seem to think so. She was having what Duncan could only describe as a nervous breakdown, eyes darting from the map to the corridor, the room they occupied and the one they had come from. She was trembling, hands and voice and all, and Duncan quickly found himself worried. About their situation, yeah - but also more pressingly, about her.

“This… this is impossible, right?”

He didn't really have an answer. Not one that would calm her any, anyway.

"It-- should be," was all he could offer, Pebs' panic slowly seeping into his mind as well. She was the one that had the map - the one that was good with directions. If she was this messed up over what happened, then... was it really something he could just... ignore?

No, no, shit, he couldn't let himself panic too. He was supposed to be the level-headed one right now.

"Look, Pebs," he grabbed her by the shoulders, firmly enough to hold her in place, carefully enough not to hurt her. His back was bent to keep their eyes on the same level as hers. "Listen. You gotta calm down, a'ight? I need you all focused. We can worry about the possible and the impossible later. Yeah, we're back here, but-- it's not like we're stuck. You feel it too, right? The breeze. That's gotta be a good thing." It had to be, because it was the only thing they could still cling to. "If we find its source, we can get out. One hundred percent. Trust me. Just a little more, and you can get your pony and I'll-- I'll get my dream car. We'll find a way."

I'm afraid I have to back out. I'm currently in a traditional, weekly CoS campaign, and seeing that the opening post contains a lot of information not yet known by our party even at the point where we are at-- I fear that continuing with this would spoil the exploration aspect of the regular campaign. I avoided reading parts of the OP for that reason, and that cannot bode well.

This is totally my bad, I should've taken that into account sooner.

I wish you luck, hope you have fun!
