Though her element is fire, that does not seem to reflect in her personality at all. She is shy and contained, she does not call attention to herself and excels at blending in. She is kind and comforting, but also very fragile, both mentally and physically. If someone were to say that most Fire Gems are like a campfire or torch, then Nadia is a lit candle.

She closed the book and smiled at everyone in the carriage. She wasn't sure how much the Drakken had liked the story, but judging by the looks on their faces they weren't too eager for her to stop.

Bio:
A librarian's daughter, her mother died when she was too young to remember, and her father was always busy with work around the city's library, so she was pretty much on her own for most of her childhood. With nothing else to do whenever she got bored, she taught herself how to read. She soon fell in love with the fictions she found, mysteries and adventures all just waiting to be read, feelings and images expressed on paper. She spent as much time as possible in the library, and that's where she was when the Drakkens came for her, lost in a fantasy. She didn't fight being taken at all, but only made one request- that she be allowed to bring her favorite book with her.

Other:
Onyx likes wordplay and writes poetry in her free time, her knowledge of books and fantasy making her very imaginative and childish when she wants to be. This fluidity of emotion and imagination makes it easy for her to come up with ideas and plans on the fly, and she's pretty good at lying too. She pictures herself as if the heroine of one of the novels she loves so much, and her confidence could be her downfall.

"Oh, Are we here already?" Onyx spoke before the Drakken ordered them out of the carriage. “Alright. Out, both of you. Don't forget your things.” Nadia made a choked sound of sadness at the order as she climbed out of the carriage, though before she could start crying again Onyx spoke to her one last time before one of the Drakken started dragging her into the building. "Don't worry. You'll be ok."

Nadia nodded and called after her. "Thank you." Wiping her eyes, she glanced at the other Drakken, wondering why she wasn't being dragged inside yet as well. Seeming to guess what she was thinking, he motioned down the path towards Gemminia and muttered something about someone following them.

She started to hear the familiar sound of her father's horse’s hoofbeats at about the same time as she turned around and her father yelled. "Wait!" Within seconds he was there in front of her, holding her tightly in his arms. She couldn't speak, even though she tried, her voice was choked with tears.

Once she'd caught her breath, she couldn't think of anything to say. Her father was listing things he'd packed for her. A sewing kit, a few outfits, and a few “presents” in his own words. The Drakken took the chest from her father and told them to hurry up. She hugged him tightly as every word she'd never get to say to him again came pouring from her lips. "I love you, dad. So, so much. Tell mom that I love her too. And I'll miss you both. Dad, dad I-"

Bio:
Nadia's parents were both Fire Gemminites who lived and raised her in a woodland cottage a little ways away from any towns or cities. They preferred the calm solitude that life in the woods offered as opposed to the busy life of a townsperson, and the relative safety of living like this. Her father worked as a merchant and so was away often, trading around the country, while her mother was a seamstress. Nadia eventually picked up the skills of both her parent's trades, learning how to make deals with people and how to make basically anything needed for the home that could be done with a needle and thread.

Nadia grew to be shy and nervous around other people at first, but good-natured enough that she would make friends easily. She didn't spend much time in town, but she was known around as a kind, well-mannered girl. She was taken in a reaping that was happening during a visit into town with her father, when a Drakken who was collecting another girl decided that she was a better catch.

Other:
Though her element is fire, it doesn't seem to reflect in her personality as much as it does others of her element. She is shy and contains her thoughts and emotions very well, she does not call attention to herself on purpose and excels at blending in, at least among Gems. She is kind and gentle towards others, but also very fragile, both mentally and physically- she's afraid to use her power around other people. Bio:
Zane is a merchant, just as his father was, and his father's father before him. He's also a part of a group that is pretty much convinced that the Drakkens will eventually make war on their peaceful country, a cult of sorts. His home -where he lives with his wife and their only child, Nadia- is just one part of a vast network of underground, hidden pathways and safe places which the cult uses to get around unnoticed, and could use to evacuate whole cities if needed. Zane himself is a messenger and a fighter for the group, using his travels as a merchant as a way to get across the border into other countries (mostly Drakka) and obtain information.

Other:
Zane's personality is a little unpredictable, though he is very good at keeping up an act. He is good at manipulation and negotiating deals. He has the fighting ability of the average member of the cult, though his role is much more subterfuge. His family doesn't know anything about the cult at all.

"Two men walked into a bar. One ordered all the food on the menu while the other sat and watched as he scarfed it all down in minutes." A man with orange hair and an eyepatch over his right eye leaned back in his chair as he spoke, sighing as his white-haired companion didn't answer. "Of course I would say the punchline, if there was one. Slow down Allen, you're gonna burst your stomach."

"You worry too much Lavi." Allen mumbled around a mouthful of hamburger. "You've known me for, two years now? You know that'd never happen, and if it were gonna I'd have died of overeating years ago." He emptied the last plate, a stack of them about 4ft high on the table beside him. He took a look inside his wallet and became visibly depressed, putting his head on the table. After a minute he glanced innocently at Lavi. "Wanna play cards?"

"No. If you need me to pay I will. Just get some money of your own soon and pay me back, will ya?" Lavi stood and approached the bartender. "How much for all the food?"

• Method of Travel:

Noah's Ark, an artifact created and used by the Noah Family. It takes the form of a large, airborne cube that contains a city inside of it, as well as countless doors that those who control the Ark can use to go to any location they wish, either by driving the Ark there itself or by creating a gate to go there.
All Gates in the outside world are numbered, and walking through them leads one to the Mediterranean-style city within the Ark. From there, walking through another door that connects to an established Gate teleports the person walking through to wherever the Gate was opened at, no matter how far away it is from the previous Gate's location.
Access to the Gates from the outside world can be controlled by anyone using the corresponding doors within the Ark, with established Ark Gates capable of being activated and deactivated by opening and closing the corresponding door. Even when the Gates are deactivated (The door is closed), their location is marked by a series of concentric circles with a number in the center that marks it with the corresponding door within the Ark.

- Noah's Ark - The ability to control the original Noah's Ark, as well as creating gates in and out of the Ark from will. In addition to making Gates, Allen can also destroy Gates using the magic command "Arda."
- Parasitic type Innocence - A rare form of Innocence or Anti-Akuma Weapon (A weapon that Exorcists use to defeat and purify Akuma). Anti-Akuma Weapons invoked from this type are made from part of the Accommodator's body, such as a limb, as the Innocence is actually infused with the body of the Accommodator. Parastic type Innocence has the advantage of being able to heal the Accommodator's body, through, healing excessive injuries and such depends on the bond between the Innocence and the Accommodator. Parasitic type Exorcists require a large amount of food for each meal, as the Innocence drains their energy stores rapidly.
- Physical Prowess - Due to his Innocence being largely used for close combat, Allen is noted to be above normal human standards in terms of physical fitness, making him able to perform in seemingly physically impossible workouts and hold back attacks that are known to take out walls. His physical abilities are increased even more when his Innocence is activated.
- Cross A parasitic type Anti-Akuma Weapon that is centralized in the cross-shaped, stone-like Innocence embedded in the back of Allen's left hand.
- Cross α (alpha) - The first and most basic form of Allen's Innocence. It transforms his left arm into a monstrous adamantine claw with a supernatural glow at his shoulder. It is capable of manipulating its size and shape to extreme ends.
- Cross Grave - At the first level of invocation, the Innocence's power can be channeled into one powerful stream, capable of destroying multiple Level 1 Akuma simultaneously, and leaves a cruciform of energy behind on each of its targets (hence the name)
- Cross β (beta) - This evolution takes a more offensive approach, in the form of a massive arm-cannon with his fingers becoming energy spikes. This form is capable of both ranged and melee combat, but tends to use up more energy initially.
- Cross Paling - At its second phase of invocation, Allen's Innocence is capable of firing volleys of energy rods (Palings); these laser stakes are made of hard-light Innocence energy, which enables them to picket the ground and fence in the adversary, or to hit them like bullets.
- Cross Spear - At its second phase of invocation, Allen is capable of focusing the barrel of his Innocence-cannon to generate a spear-like energy paling, which can then be used like a lazer sword.
- Crown Clown - After Cross was nearly destroyed, it evolved. When invoked, Crown Clown acts as a body-armored Innocence, forming a white-hooded cowl and sleeve of Innocence energy which covers his shoulders and right arm, while his left arm and hand become slender and black, clad in armor and razor sharp claws. A masquerade-style mask is always affixed to the cowl, which takes on various configurations and appearances. This transformation also changes Allen's usual hairstyle from flat to a spiky rear. As before, his Innocence possesses a certain degree of sentience, such as when Crown Clown is able to manipulate Allen's entire body like a marionette when he is knocked out, or simply assisting in evasive tactics. When not activated, his arm is black and meets with his shoulder in a spiraling pattern that ends with tattoo-like emblem.
- Cross Grave - Much more powerful than its previous incarnation, Allen can crucify targets simply by etching a cross upon them with his left hand, effectively annihilating even Level 3 Akuma with a single talon. It can now also be used defensively, generating a shield by drawing a cross on the air.
- Clown Belt - The cape of Allen's cowl is released as a webbing of Innocence-energy that can be used to grasp objects, immobilize opponents, or form hardened spikes to impale enemies. It can also be released from the sleeve and glove on Allen's right arm. (The ribbons of energy were once used by Crown Clown itself to wrap around Allen's limbs and control him like a puppet when Allen was too injured to move by himself.)
- Crown Edge - A projectile attack which unleashes a barrage of crown-shaped rings from the clawed fingers on Allen's left hand.
- Edge End - A swipe of raw destructive power dealt with Allen's fully-invoked claw.
- Sword of Exorcism - When Allen's synchronization rate (His bond with the Innocence) exceeds 100%, he is able to transmute his entire left arm into a large broadsword with a cross emblazoned on the faces of the blade. In doing so, his left shoulder is capped with a cross-shaped emblem, and his cowl usually forms a cloak to cover the missing arm. Once invoked, the blade can exorcise evil from any vessel it strikes, though it does not harm humans. If used against Level 1 to Level 3 Akuma, it vanquishes them in the same effect as the Cross Grave attack, leaving a residual glowing cross crest in the wake of the defeated Akuma. However, in the case of a Level 4 Akuma the sword carries a diminished effect. Allen has the ability to telepathically recall the Sword to himself, should it be separated from his body.
- Death Orbs - When using the Sword of Exorcism, Allen can create a series of large explosions.
- Amateur Swordsmanship - After Allen received his Sword of Exorcism, he began training to develop his swordsmanship skills.
- The Cursed Eye Level 2 - In addition to his Innocence, the reverse pentacle that scars his left eye curses Allen with the power to see the souls trapped inside Akuma. Resembling a sort of cogwheel monocle, this new version of the cursed eye enables Allen to pinpoint an Akuma's position even when they are not visible to the naked eye, regardless of obstacles, from a distance of up to 350 meters away. The most astounding change from the previous version is that others close to Allen are able to see the lost souls trapped within Akuma as well. The eye activates when Akuma are nearby, but will also activate when Allen is near Dark matter.

• Personality:

Allen is a kind, generous, and very polite young man. He tends to be very self-sacrificing, often willing to let his body and emotions take devastating blows for the sake of others. Allen also has unassuming and borderline naive traits, despite the troubling life he's been forced to live. Over time, Allen's personality has seen a shift; several times his "dark side", something he developed to survive the gamblers and con-artists his master sacrificed him to, has shown itself, frequently shocking and scaring those around him.

• Starting World:

D. Gray Man version of Earth. (Around the end of the 1800s)

• Backstory:

As the wars raged on and more worlds were pulled into the conflict of the multiverse, so too was Allen's world, D. Gray Earth. Those that stood with the Incubators and Prime Directive were welcomed by the Millennium Earl and the Clan of Noah, the Earl helping them become more efficient by showing them his tactics for making Akuma, and them returning the favor by allowing him to make Akuma throughout the Multiverse.

One day as Allen was out on a mission with his fellow exorcists Kanda, Lavi, and Krory, a human appeared out of a portal into the middle of a fight between them and a great deal of Akuma. Allen managed to protect him until the end of the battle, where they soon found out that something very strange was going on. The man wore strange clothes, and he kept pointing out everyday things and saying, "You guys still have those?"

Eventually they figured out that he was from some form of the future, by the way he reacted when they told him it was 1887, and after even more confusion finally figured out that he was from a different version of Earth altogether. One that, somehow, had not been in a multiverse war yet. This was extremely good news for the Exorcists, because they had not known that normal humans could travel to different worlds yet.

Now that they had somewhere to start, the Scientists of the Black Order were able to come up with a way of thinking about the universe that Allen could understand, and therefore use Noah's Ark to travel to other worlds. Returning the man back to his home as he requested, Allan and the Black order moved their base into the Ark and soon they were back to doing what needed to be done, exorcising Akuma and trying to take down the Millenium Earl.

As the Earl had been able to start making Akuma in worlds with no Exorcists to stand in his way, the Order soon found that there were extreme numbers of Akuma in every world they went to, and almost every world had at least one level 4 Akuma, meaning that billions have died. Though the numbers of the Exorcists were few, they soon found a way to stop the Earl's influence on a world. The Earl and the Clan of Noah were travelling the Multiverse using their Black Ark, which worked in the same exact way as the Ark in the possession of the Order, meaning that Allen can close their gates to a world.

By closing their gates and Exorcising all the Akuma in a World, the Black Order could cut off that world from at least one horrible part of the war, guaranteeing them a much greater chance of survival. Allen, as one of the strongest Exorcists, jumps from World to World with his Ark to help defeat the strongest Akuma they know of yet, the Level 4.

Equipment: She has a large sword with a water rune in the hilt so she can summon water to use even when there is none in the air, and a pouch to carry health and stamina potions, along with the odd antivenom or vial of poison.

Demeanor: Eve is decidedly cold towards others, the type who'd stick to herself rather than a large group. She'll criticize you, but also build you up stronger at the same time. She is not unkind, just distant, and is a very loyal teammate and friend.

History: Eve grew up in a kingdom very close to the storm, you could see it on the horizon from anywhere in the kingdom. She lived with her parents, helping out in the shop they ran selling wood carvings and flowers from her mother's garden. Her mother was a storm, though only an Adept, she helped the people in her town keep their gardens growing well in the loose, sandy soil of the area, while her father was a jack-of-all-trades who could do things from building furniture and houses to making a clay vase and other cookware. Eve's parents found out she had the potential to be an elemental at the age of 8 and sent her off to the Academy when she turned 10.

That's where her cold personality started. Instead of being as kind and open to everyone as she had been at home with her parents she pulled into herself, only trusting a select few and becoming harsh and overly cautious to others. She decided that she wanted to become a blizzard when she saw a duel between one and a storm, a few weeks after finding out that she had the most potential for hydromancy than any other element.

In the years that followed Eve focused on making herself stronger through any means possible, fighting, travelling the land, studying texts written by or about strong blizzards, and countless hours of meditation. Her current ability is that of an Adept, but she has been able to cover her arms and torso in ice as a type of light armor through her training, but it really takes some concentration to make and is not very strong yet.

Dream magic - Caster type - level A

Aurora has used this magic for as long as she can remember, she started learning it when she was a young child. This type of magic is useless in battle, because she has to be asleep to cast most of the spells related to it. Using Dream magic, Aurora can travel great distances in a Dream form and observe things as if she were there in person, and can go into the dreams of others, either to learn more info from their subconscious or to communicate in a way that is almost telepathic.

Once inside a Dream, Aurora can alter the dream itself, to make a certain situation to hide her presence in the dream. Any dream she enters, the dreamer will become aware that they are dreaming, and thus have that added control over the dream. They can realize she is there by figuring out that they can't control her, and can fight her in the dream. Aurora's Dream form can be anything she wishes, but she prefers to be herself or a younger version of herself rather than an animal or object.

When fighting in a dream, the dreamer can use any powers and magic they have when they are awake, and Aurora has a few combative spells that she can use only when using her Dream magic.
Dreaming Death- A hallucination inside the dream where the dreamer is helpless to stop the death of someone close to them, or their own death by the means they find the most fearful. Aurora uses this mainly as a way to shatter the opponent's morale or as a diversion so she can leave the dream without being traced back to her body by the dreamer.
Dream Shield- A shield created from good memories, it is stronger with better memories, but weak against magics fueled by bad memories or emotions.
Dream Jolt- Aurora can fire multiple energy blasts at the enemy meant to wake the dreamer up, as they can do real physical harm (Just a sting that lasts a few minutes after waking up and some minor burns). When the dreamer wakes up, Aurora is automatically brought back to her own body.

When Aurora is spying in the real world, she is almost undetectable. If her form is visible, it has no shadow. If her form is invisible, it looks like the air is rippled where she is. Dream forms are like ghosts, they don't breathe or have a heartbeat you could hear, and can easily walk through walls and interact with objects around them. They're there, but really they aren't.
Running- Aurora is much faster in her dream form than any vehicle. She can cover great distances very quickly and it's useful for creating distractions in her childlike form, although she goes much slower to do this.
Message- She can influence people using a sort of minor telepathy that plants the words in the person's subconscious, making it seem as though it was one of their own thoughts.
Transfer Energy- Aurora's dream form shifts to a different form, at the same time making an illusion of the previous form to distract people and draw attention. Usually, she just has the form fall over suddenly, and people will worry about the 'person'. Useful for getting away from people who realize that she's different.
Sleep- She can force about 20 people to fall asleep for 10 minutes, or make one person sleep for hours. The more people, the less time.

Guardian magic - Holder type - level C

This magic uses a contract between Aurora and a Guardian Spirit (Similar to a Celestial Spirit, but can also be a living creature on Earthland) to summon said spirit to her side to aid and protect her and her teammates in battle, or to help in other situations as well, if their bond is strong enough.

The contract and bond are symbolized by marks or gifts given by the spirit to the holder, and a promise given from the holder to the spirit. If the spirit gives the holder an item, the holder can choose an object to serve as a 'grand conductor' for the items and marks of multiple spirits, so they don't have to carry around all the items all the time. If the item is broken, the bond will break. But in the case of a Grand Conductor, the bond won't break right away if the Conductor breaks. The holder has three days to make a new conductor, but they need all their items and marks together to do so. Taking the Conductor away will only make the holder temporarily unable to use the spirits that gave them items that are tied to the conductor, as marks are always present, invisible on the holder's body unless in use. If a spirit wants a closer or more unbreakable bond, they will give the holder a mark.

History:
She grew up mostly in a small no-name town on the eastern coast of Fiore, but she often traveled around the country with her father on his work. He was a merchant, so they constantly were meeting new people and weren't ever in one place for very long. That's how her shyness started, she never got to talk to anyone other than her father much, so she grew uncomfortable speaking to anyone else.

When she turned 15 her father had finally saved up enough money that he could stop needing to travel all over the place and they could spend more time at home with her mother. Aurora found it hard to stay in that town after traveling with her father for so much of her life, so she got her parent's permission to go traveling on her own.

As she traveled she learned a lot of things, her Guardian magic probably being the most important of those, and learning how to get people's attention being the next. She met and old man on the road one day as she and her horse, Gera, were stopped for a rest. She did a favor for him, and so he showed her Guardian magic by summoning a Wolf Spirit to him, Silstorm.

They went to the next town together, a three-day journey, and in that time the old man had taught Aurora how to make a temporary bond with a spirit and how to bond with a living spirit. He taught her that bonding with a living spirit before trying to make a permanent bond with a spirit was important because if you couldn't keep the trust of a living creature, how could a spirit trust you?

By the time they got to the town, Aurora had bonds with two spirits. One was her horse Gera, a Living spirit, and the other was the Wolf Spirit Silstorm, who was impressed by Aurora's natural kindness and decided that she would rather watch her grow in her ability than stay with the old man. It was Silstorm that eventually led Aurora to join a guild, Pirate Lord.

Personality:
She's shy to the point where it's difficult for her to speak when she knows more than just a few people are listening to her. She is kind and intuitive, and very, very obvious. You could read her like a book if you wanted. She's not good at keeping secrets, and is very trusting, at least until she is burned.

Three Strengths:
1. She's bookish, meaning she's smart and a good storyteller, if you can get her to tell you one.
2. She's a good cook and enjoys learning new recipes.
3. She's a good friend, and will always return a favor.

Three Weaknesses:
1. She can't swim, and is terrified of the ocean and boats.
2. Her shyness causes her to fade into the background alot, even in battle her opponent might forget she's there.
3. She's almost too trusting of her teammates. She wouldn't realize a trick until it was too late.

Greatest Love: Pancakes with maple syrup.

Motivation: She wanted to join a guild to help her make more friends, and become stronger as a wizard. She hopes to be able to call everyone in the guild a friend.

Notable Race Traits: The Lekku, or 'Brain Tails' are very distinctive traits of the Twi'lek, they are also very sensitive.

Flaws: ok, see these things on my head? Don't. Touch. Them. It hurts, and frankly I just can't guarantee your safety if you do. Alright, Brain-Tails aside... I don't like to listen to or follow orders, and I guess I can be pretty rash sometimes... normally it doesn't turn out to be much of a problem though because, as much as I hate to have to do what i'm told, I do respect Master Tetsu enough to listen to her. I suppose I should add that don't work too well with large groups either. Also because of my utter repulsion to authority, I don't really have a sense of morals about what I do sometimes. If the plan will work, I use it.

Skills: Umm, let's see... I'm good at hacking into things, like droids and microchips and stuff like that. I picked it up while I was a thief to help myself and others not get caught by drones and such. I knew a few others in the area, and whenever one of them figured out a new trick, they spread the knowledge. I've sort of made my own little fighting style, so I'm good at fighting, in a kind of sneaky way. I was a pickpocket and a thief for a long time, so... I'm good at that, and I guess this could be a strength as well as a flaw, but I don't have a sense of morals about what I do sometimes. Since I started learning to become a Jedi, Master Tetsu has been teaching me the Ataru form of Lightsaber combat.

Force capabilities: I can do the little suggestion thing, and I've been working on picking up small objects from across the room and bringing them into my hand. Master Tetsu often tells me I am a fast learner, and apparently I finished the basics of learning to become a Jedi in just a year.

Biography: Do I have to fill this part out? I really don't want to... Alright, fine. Before I met Master Tetsu, I was a mess. I never really had any goals or ambitions in life before then, I was just going day-by-day, avoiding the authorities and working as a thief. The time before I met Master Tetsu is kind of a blur to me now, I never really had anyone I cared about enough to keep in touch with, any friends or interesting events, so there wasn't much worth remembering.

I was kidnapped at a young age, to become a slave, but lucky for us the guy was caught while he was transporting us, so we all got to go free... and that's about where my memories start to blur. I don't know how many years ago that was, I don't exactly know how old I am, and I don't really want to talk about it. Now, I'm not gonna pull that 'I've done bad things in the past, but I'm better now!' bullshit with you. Yea, I was a thief, and a pickpocket, and I think I may have indirectly caused a few deaths. I had to. I don't regret the things I've done, or my reasons and methods for doing them, I just wish I could have found a different path sooner.

I was about 13 years old when I became a padawan, and I was found by Master Tetsu a little while before then, she was the one to convince me to try and become a jedi. It's been a few years since then, and I've apparently done pretty well with my training so far. Right now, Master Tetsu and I are on Coruscant for some business with the Temple there. We arrived almost two weeks ago, and Master Tetsu has lent me to the local authorities to help them with a case. Meanwhile she herself has left the planet to go take care of her own business in Ryloth.

Personality and/or Motivation: I'm kind when I want to be, and I'm a bit mischievous. When I'm around people I actually like, which hasn't happened in a LONG time by the way, I can be funny and lighthearted. Usually though I try to keep my thoughts and emotions from showing, just a habit I guess. I seem mean, because that's the way I want to be seen.

Player’s long term goals: ((I'm currently thinking that she'll survive, although I'm not sure If she'll stay on the good side. It depends on how things play out still.))

Relations:
Master Tetsu- I'm her Padawan. Not much more to say. I respect her enough to listen sometimes, and I try to help her out too, and she doesn't boss me around as much as she could, so It's a start.
Sela Kythor- She's the reason I'm still on Coruscant when the Sacking happens. Master Tetsu lent me to her for a while to help with a case.
Xid Terrik- He used to be Sela's padawan. He's a knight, and kind, but that's all I really know about him.
Nazca Barsavi- She's a youngling, almost a padawan I think though. We are... very alike from what I can tell, which could be both good and bad.

Final Point - Secrets: My parents. It's a very touchy topic for me, because I was taken from them. I don't remember anything much of the time after I was taken, but before then I can clearly remember some of when we were all together. I know that they never would have wanted us to be separated. I remember their love, and I get very emotional when I think about them, although I often turn it into anger. The only person I've managed to tell about this is Master Tetsu.

Concerning you

As a prisoner, your wardrobe is limited. When you were captured, how do you look and what clothes do you have on now?

This is what I normally wear, along with a sleeveless white tunic under a short Jedi robe. The sleeves of the robe don’t reach past my elbows. The hem of the tunic goes down to my hip, while the bottom of the robe barely reaches my knees.

Clothing aside, my physical appearance is rather childish despite my age. My skin is completely smooth, a shade of lavender (or light purple) with darker spot-like birthmarks on my sides and Lekku, though you wouldn’t notice the spots unless you were looking for them. I’m relatively small, 5’4” (~1.6 meters), and weighing roughly only 105 lbs (~50 kg). I have narrow shoulders and a lithe, flexible but sturdy frame. I am also rather lean, most of my body fat being stored in my Lekku.

I have a round, “soft” looking face, with clear skin and muted structural features. One can barely see my cheekbones and my chin is small and rounded. I have wide, expressive eyes that are a dark honey-brown in color, and full, naturally upturned lips. My eyebrows are tattooed-on, to help me look less “alien” to baseline-humans and also to help make my facial expression easier for others to read.

You got captured. Did you make any mistakes that led to this, or were others at fault?

I was not at fault for getting captured, only because it is not my fault many of the events that led to my capture happened. They were outside of my control. The only thing I could hold myself accountable for, is not being strong enough to fight off the Sith that captured me. If it's anyone's fault, it's the Sith's for attacking the temple in such an underhanded, cowardly way.

The Force is your ally. How do you use it?

I have a wide range of skills and abilities in the force, most of which I pursued learning because of my own interests rather than the difficulty of doing so or the basicness of the skill. I’m well-grounded with most of my skills in the Force, but a Jedi never stops learning, so some of skills are less developed than others.

My skills with the force are as follows, In order of my strength with them: (weakest at the bottom)

Force Jump - (Advanced) Because of my use of the Ataru form of lightsaber combat, this is an essential skill for me. I can easily jump almost five times my own height, and with a running start gaps almost twice that long. In a fight I use this skill to help me pull off the acrobatics needed to keep up with the enemy’s strikes and dodge more easily when necessary.

Mind Trick - (Advanced) I mostly use the Suggestion/Persuasion type of mind trick, and can defend myself from all types of mind tricks, to a point. I’m better at implanting ideas into the minds of others than defending myself.

Telekinesis - (Intermediate) A basic skill for any Jedi, I have good control and accuracy but not much strength with it. I can lift the huge boulders if you give me time but that’s about it.

Droid Disable - (Intermediate) If I can't disable a machine by slicing it I could always just destroy it instead by overloading its circuitry. I’m only able to use it at a short range (about 3-5 feet) or when touching the object, and can’t use it a lot in quick succession.

Breath Control - (Intermediate) I’ve been able to hold my breath for up to two hours at a time while active, and for six hours if I’m not doing anything, like when I’m meditating.

Tapas - (High Novice) It's literally just staying warm by using the force. I can keep this up for a few hours at a time before needing some rest.

Force Healing - (Novice) I can only use it on myself, and to a pretty low level. I can stop myself from bleeding to death, at least I hope so anyway. I need to meditate to use this power at all.

Force Stun - (Novice) I can effectively stun a single unprepared target for about a minute. Other situations I have very little chance of actually doing any good.

Force Stealth - (Low Novice) There seems to be multiple versions of this one so, I'm referring to the ability to cloak your force sensitivity and light/dark affiliation from others. I can’t maintain it for very long, maybe just a few minutes at most, and after a while it may fail randomly. But I have practiced this at least a little bit.

Having the Force did not keep you safe. What other skills can help you escape?

• I’m pretty good at Slicing droids and other computer systems
  For a long time before I became a Jedi I was a pickpocket and a thief, meaning I’ve got a light touch and a tendency to subtly try to do things when I can.
• I’m very flexible, both literally and figuratively-
  • I’m good at thinking quickly and coming up with stuff on the fly, as well as rolling with the punches as scenes pan out,
  • And as a Twi’Lek I’m naturally just a bit more supple than some other species.
• I am fairly skilled in hand-to-hand combat, though I’ve never had any formal training in it.
• I’m strong-willed and stubborn when I want to be, I won’t give up easily.
• When I’m confronted with adversity my automatic response is now (thanks to my Jedi teachings) to remain calm and collected while everything else tends to fall apart.
• This doesn’t exactly count unless someone else among the prisoners can understand it, but I can communicate silently and secretly with my Lekku.
• I’m a lot smarter and more observant than I may seem, and I learn new things quickly.
• I have the basic knowledge needed to survive in basically any terrain on my own, and the skills to do so mostly unobtrusively as well.
• I have a great, if somewhat inappropriate or sarcastic sense of humor.
• I’m good at talking to people and saying the right things, or what I believe is the right thing anyway.
• I’m a convincing actor, and hide my thoughts and emotions well when I want to.

What was your life like before you got captured? Which major events shaped your life?

Before I joined the Order, I was not in the best of situations. As far back as I can remember, I lived as a street-rat on some planet, I still don’t know its name. I was maybe 7 years old when I started learning how to survive along with a small group of other kids that were on their own too. I took to learning how to slice tech and stealing whatever we'd need from whoever seemed like they had enough to share. I got pretty good at it too, even being able to slice the police droids that would come after us. We survived, but we had no goals or ambition past that. Life was a day to day thing that became monotonous, not worth living. I couldn't just give up though, I was too scared to die, too scared of the unknown that is, or I should say, was death. I'm not scared of death anymore, because now if I die, it's for a cause at least.

I was 11 or 12 when a Jedi found me, hiding from some rich yahoo’s goons who’d seen me slicing past their home security to let my friends in. That was a fun conversation.. The Jedi told me about the Order, how they worked for the good of the galaxy and kept the peace, and convinced me to come to the temple with him. I was brought to the Temple on Coruscant, and after not too long I found that I actually really liked learning how to be a Jedi. It took me a while to settle down and stop being so emotional, (I still am emotional but I hide and suppress them much better now than I could back then) but eventually I got the hang of meditation and began taking the philosophy stuff more seriously. I began to really care about every other person in the temple too, each person becoming almost like family in my eyes -something I never really had. The group I’d lived with on that planet had always been ‘friends’ or ‘partners in crime’.

I learned quickly, and passed the Initiate trials when I was 14 or 15, about three years after first joining the order. I became a padawan to Master Jaa Iblik, a Jedi Knight. He was really nice, and put up with my joking and sarcastic nature while being a very good teacher as well. After a year with him, he got a second padawan, a human named Cerria Kinall. Cerria and I worked well together despite our nearly opposite personalities and skills, we’re teammates and friends.

Shortly after becoming a padawan, I started trying to learn as much as I could, studying and looking into all the different things Jedi did in the galaxy and the skills we could learn to do them. I became somewhat infatuated with the idea and role of Jedi Shadows, essentially dark knights in an order that glues itself to the light. They took on dangers not only mentally and physically, but spiritually as well, fighting the dark side in ways that most Jedi are unwilling or unable to do. I wanted to be one of these Jedi, that would seek out the dark side and eradicate it no matter what. I started to look into skills and traits I could learn to help me become a Shadow, and about half a year ago I finally got a chance to start learning one of the most useful (in my opinion) skills a Shadow could ever have, Force Stealth- the ability to hide your force-sensitivity and alignment from other force users. We happened to be at the temple at the same time as a master who was there willing to teach anyone who proved they were willing to learn, and after a while talking to him he showed me the first few steps to using Force Stealth.

Recently, after five years of being trained as a padawan, I attempted the Knight trials. The trials of skill and courage I passed in the field, while on a mission with Cerria and Master Iblik. We had gotten caught up in the front lines and had to fight our way out, and as we retreated we told our allies that the imperial forces had changed their location and were moving in from a previously unexpected direction. The trial of flesh I attempted in the temple on Coruscant without incident. I took the trials of insight and spirit in the temple’s controlled environment as well. It’s been about a week since then and I still don’t know whether I passed or not, I’ve yet to hear the council’s decision.

How do you keep yourself calm in captivity? How do you keep your will to escape strong?

I try to meditate and center myself whenever I start losing my calm, or I'll distract myself by thinking about how to escape. It's not hard to keep my motivation to escape, whenever I feel like it might not be possible, I just think about all the other Jedi here with me. I'm going to get us out of here, somehow. I'd rather we all die than turn to the dark side or remain as prisoners or test subjects for the Sith.

How well do you hold up under pressure? Do you have a high pain threshold?

To answer the first question, I'm extremely good at keeping calm in bad situations, and I have enough confidence in myself and those around me that I don't believe we'll fall easily. I'm a fighter. as for the second… I'll say yes, for everything other than my Lekku. The brain-tails of my race are quite sensitive, the only good thing I can say for this is that I'll most likely pass out before I could or would say anything if they were targeted during a torture session. As far as I know I just naturally handle pain a little better than most people, and constant electrical shocks from mistakes in slicing over the years have dulled me to it all the more.

Lightsabers. Though you lost yours, it would be good to know what style(s) you use.

I know the basics of Shii-cho like every other Jedi should, but I'm most practiced in the form Ataru. I have recently started trying to learn Soresu as well so I could better deflect blaster bolts and conserve more of my energy in battle. I am Left-hand dominant, though I can hold my lightsaber in either hand and fight just fine. I don’t like holding the blade with both hands at once.

Have you encountered other prisoners or Sith in the past?

(WIP, kinda. I think this is all for now.)
Cerria Kinall - She and I shared a Master, her being Master Iblik’s Padawan along with me for four years before I attempted the knight trials about two weeks ago. I believe that because our master died during the sacking it's up to me to take care of her and to get her out of the Sith's reach.

Out of Character

How powerful is she in the Force?

In terms of raw power, Shiri’s only a little above average. The only reason she’s made it as far as she has is through practice and determination. She has little strength with things such as telekinesis, and her ability to defend herself from telekinetic and mental attacks is very lacking.

Has your character encountered members of the Strike Team / Rescuers before?

No.

Nobody with any sort of wisdom wants to speak of their flaws. Especially not to their enemies, so what are your character’s flaws?

• The Lekku, or 'Brain Tails' are distinctive traits of the Twi'lek species, they are exceptionally sensitive and so Shiri could be knocked out or killed without much trouble if someone were to target them- she has to take care to protect them in a fight.
• While she has a high pain tolerance and ability to stay quiet when she's being tortured, she knows the others might not and so feels that she has to protect everybody else however she can, usually by taking their place.
  • She will attempt to never let any of her fellow jedi be taken for interrogation by the sith, no matter her own condition.
• She values her fellow Jedi and sees how each of them could be more useful than herself if someone had to be lost.
• Her self-esteem is actually pretty low, she just generally belies that she’s not good enough at whatever she does.
• She's stubborn, sarcastic, can be a bit of a smart-ass at times
• While she is good at hiding her emotions she does still feel them and can be rather fierce at times (For example, she's more than a little hateful/spiteful towards the Sith right now because of the Sacking of Coruscant, and while it may not be obvious the emotion is definitely there).
• She’s rash and self-destructive, pushing away the darkness that she doesn’t want to face rather than acknowledging it, accepting it, overcoming it, moving on.
• Her feelings for Xid (currently not fully acknowledged or accepted. She has no intention of ever confronting Xid about it right now)
• The care she has for those she considers friends
• Willingness to always take another’s place in a torture/interrogation session to spare others the experience.
• She's not the strongest, physically. She can easily be overpowered in a fight if you can get ahold of her.
• Her fighting style relies too heavily on not getting hit or grabbed by her opponent to actually get a hit in herself.
• She has no idea how she should attempt to make herself seem, what type of personality to project so that the Sith can’t read her as easily, and this ends up making her easier to read, at least every Sith will get the impression she’s either clueless or hiding something.

As a non-human, list what traits your character has specifically because of their Species.

Twi'lek's have:

• Lekku (or 'Brain Tails') - stores fat and acts as an erogenous zone, also contains part of the brain at the base. Extremely sensitive and a great vulnerability if targeted in battle.
  - LEFT= tchun
  - RIGHT= tchin
• As the lekku do contain a part of the Twi’lek’s brain, if they are damaged close enough to the base the brain itself could be directly and most likely irreversibly injured.
  • Any bleeding caused would be significantly more serious and the flow of blood in the lekku is much harder to stop without causing more damage. (ex: Tourniquets could do more harm than good as it’s hard to tell where the brain ends exactly and you may end up crushing the organ in an attempt to stop bleeding.)
  • If a Lek were to be completely severed, it doesn’t matter how close to the base, the Twi’lek is pretty much dead. If the brain wasn’t hit, they’ll bleed out in moments. (in the case of just the tip being cut off, that’s a much better chance of survival though it would be about as bad as losing a hand or foot and there’s still the risk of bleeding out if not acted upon quickly enough.)
• The ability to communicate silently and secretly with their lekku
• Sharp claw-like nails
• Multiple stomachs - allows Twi'leks to eat most foods
• Under normal circumstances, they have a higher body temperature than other humanoid species. (Hugs are always warm!)

Is your character any good at holding out against torture?

Yes, in fact. She’s reasonably good at keeping quiet under most circumstances through sheer willpower and determination. She’s stubborn and likes to screw with people, and holding out on the sith is a pretty good way of doing just that. She’s well aware of what should and should not be said -in the case of the sith, they should know nothing at all. Of course, having a high pain tolerance helps.

What is your character’s personality like? What motivates her?

Kind and caring by nature, and fairly mischievous. When she's around people she likes she can be funny and lighthearted, but most of the time she tries to keep her thoughts and emotions to herself. If she appears mean or harsh, it's more than likely a farce. Shiri has no respect for anyone who believes she should respect them simply because they feel they are entitled to it. She rebels against those who believe they are better than someone else, and is more than happy to challenge them in an attempt to give them some humility.

Shiri believes that most of the time, you have to do things the right way to get the result you want or need, but when it comes to the Sith and dealing with the dark side whatever works best is what you should do. All Sith deserve to die, they’ve already made the choices which condemn them, and in some cases the ends do justify the means. Shiri will never trust a Sith on any occasion, even if they’ve swapped sides. Shiri takes pride in being a Jedi and enjoys learning as much as she can to try and make the universe a better place. She's decided that she wants to battle the dark side by either being an investigator or a Jedi Shadow, and that choice has led to many of her other choices throughout the years. Her goal is to become the best Jedi she can possibly be and save as many people as she can.

Do you have any limits as to what is “ok” to happen to your character?

I just don’t want her to die, mentally, physically, or in spirit . If she dies she’s no fun to play anymore. That being said however.. I'm interested to see what kind of trouble she can get into. Give it your best shot.

Do you want your character to escape?

Yes, but in my own plans she likely won't. She will refuse to leave if doing so gives others a better chance of making it, and will always want to make an attempt to get everyone out. I do have plans where escape is possible for her, but they involve her breaking this "no-one gets left behind" mentality of hers.

how easily do you wish to be captured?

About as easily as it is to give a big dog who doesn't like water a bath. Possible to do without injury, but annoying as hell after a short while.

What do you think your character is doing in a few IC months?

If she escapes, her ties to the light side will be set for life and she'll continue pursuing her goal to be a Jedi Shadow.

If she dies trying, well I just hope she was able to get the others out with her sacrifice then.

If she turns, she’ll be lost to the darkness forever. Unlike Zez, there’s not even a chance for her to go back to the light. She’ll keep trying to develop the skills that would have made her into a Jedi Shadow, but now she’ll be striving to use them against the Jedi rather than the Sith.

Does your character have any secrets useful for the GMs’ plots?

Not anymore.

STAR WARS!!! Shiri is one of my favorite Characters of all time, mostly because creating her is what got me into the star wars universe. I'd never watched the movies before joining Aftermath, so I attribute her and that RP for making me a fangirl.

Name: Vitoria Briar
Age: 18

Personality: She is a very kind person, and will often go out of her way to try and make someone’s day, she enjoys seeing people smile. She is slow to anger, and quick to forgive. She is a loyal friend and very cunning in the face of adversity, coming up with plans that would seem childish in their simplicity but prove her instincts are spot-on. She’s very good at reading people, and at estimating how any situation would most likely turn out. People just naturally feel comfortable with her around, they are glad to call her a friend.

Backstory: Vitoria is the only daughter of a slightly upper class family that lived in the countryside around the capital city of Edessa. She had two older brothers, who are now fighting in the war, and one younger brother who travels with her. Her parents were healers, her mother able to use healing magics and her father well-versed in the arts of physical healing. Both her parents are busy tending to those wounded in the capital city.

Her family ran a small clinic out of their home, and Vitoria loved to help out in any way possible. Often, she would be tasked with cheering up a patient, or keeping visitors calm. She often mimicked the things she saw her parents doing to help the patients, and her parents acted upon that show of interest, training her to become a healer just like them. She learned quickly, and soon found that she genuinely likes to help people.

By the time she was 12 years old, she was a good nurse. She had wonderful bedside manner and was always able to get the patient to cheer up. She was well-liked in the area, and her family's clinic grew in popularity as word spread of the good atmosphere and good care. When she turned 15, she and her mother found out about her magical ability, healing like her mother along with the ability to harm in the same way.

The ability she has to harm scares her, and she sometimes tries to pretend that she doesn't have the ability at all. Because of this, whenever she practiced her magic she would only use the healing ability, leaving her fairly good at healing, but still very, very bad at controlling any of the harming ability.

She doesn't like the thought of hurting people, and now as one of the older people leaving Edessa, she's forced to carry a dagger and a bow so she can help defend the group if needed. She can use the hunting bow she carries, but she doesn't want to. She learned how to shoot because of childhood competitions between her and her older brothers.

Skills and Abilities:
Adept Healing magic - She can create apple-sized balls of Healing energy and throw them about 10 meters before they fizz out, Whoever they hit will get a small boost of energy and wounds will heal quicker for about an hour. She can focus this energy onto her hands and heal major wounds quicker by touching the person or holding her hands over the wound, she can keep this up for about 15 minutes before she tires, and in another 5 minutes will pass out. This magic cannot cure poisons, but it can help draw them out, and she cannot use this ability on herself.
Novice Harming magic - She can create apple-sized balls of Harming energy (the opposite of Healing energy) and throw them about 3 meters before they fizz out, Whoever they hit will get a burning sensation across their body and will bleed where the ball touched them. She can also focus this energy to anywhere on her body, extremely intensifying the pain felt by anyone who touches her like that. As far as she knows, she can only use short 1 or 2 minute bursts of this.
Journeyman Barrier magic - By mixing Healing and Harming energy she can create a wall of sorts, the larger the wall, the shorter the amount of time that she can keep it up. A wall about the size of a door will last about 10-15 minutes before she tires, and in about 3 minutes after that she will faint. The wall can't move, but she can, so long as she focuses on keeping the wall up she could protect someone for a while and she can go on ahead with a group at the same time, she can't get too far away though, 100 meters is about the limit.
Professional Traditional healing - She can set a bone in minutes, and get all the poison out of a wound. She knows how to wield a scalpel and stitch a wound together with precision and has a good amount of knowledge about the medicinal herbs across the country.
Trained Nurse - She knows how to deal with a patient and how to keep others out of the way when she's working, she also has good focus in any medical situation.
Trained Caregiver - She is good at keeping young children in line and at negotiating with older children due to helping raise her younger brother.

I can change my entire physical appearance at will, even my clothes. Also, I heal pretty quickly too.

Abilities:

I can change within just a few seconds, and if you're watching me closely as I change you may just notice me blur out of focus for a second or two. Also it doesn't make any sound when I change, so I could change and no-one would notice if they weren't paying attention. I can change into anything I can imagine, so long as it's humanoid, and if I'm copying someone I can mimic their voice as well.

Drawbacks & Weaknesses:

Well, I can't change how much I weigh, and an X-ray of me while I look like a guy shows that on the inside I am still female. If I am a 'guy' I am not actually a guy. I have none of that, ability, it just looks like one. Also, the appearance of warm clothes does not actually make me warm. I can look like i'm ready for an arctic expedition, but really I shouldn't even be outside in a light wind. I can't actually change into an animal because I can't change my weight or physical strength to accommodate that form. I'd probably end up hurting myself if I tried.

I suppose this is where you want me to put my 'story' or whatever, right? Fine, but it really isn't so interesting.

I like to read and sing, I consider myself to be quiet most of the time (Though I've been told that i'm not), and I like to observe what's going on around me more than I'd like to be a part of it. I've always tried my best to live up to my parent's expectations, seeing as the other option would get me very close to the edge of their patience. I've always had good grades, and attended church every Sunday with my family, and I never did drugs or anything else like that. I got a lot of praise, and I almost believed that I was one of the few people in my town that had any chance of leaving without any dumb ties to force me back. My family runs a camping shop with basically everything you could possibly need to live anywhere for a few years, let alone the 4 or 5 weekends the people who bought this stuff were actually going to use it for before they completely lost all their interest in the sport.

So, anyway. Yea, I was a good kid. At least, I believe I was. One day though, culture shock. My best friend turned out to be a mutant, and being that basically our entire town was a part of HAM, she had to hide. She was still herself, I could tell that, but she looked like something my dad probably would've tried to banish to hell, or wherever. She couldn't stay in the town anymore, maybe not any other town either, so I helped her to sneak out with some stuff from the store so she could camp out for a while. I even gave her one of those disposable phones so we could stay in touch too.

I'm glad to say that she still answers my calls, although she won't tell me where she is anymore, and that worries me a little. Anyway, after the whole episode where her parents freaked that she ran away, Life kinda died down for a couple of years. Until I became a mutant too. I don't really remember how it started, I just know that one day I was at school, skipping class, and the principal literally just walked by me on his way to the teacher's lounge, like he couldn't see me or something.

I tried to call out to him, to ask what his deal was. He was probably one of the strictest guys you'd ever meet, and he definitely didn't just walk by people who were breaking the rules. I thought he had something going on, something bad enough to make that guy forget to scold a kid was definitely something to worry about. So, I had started to ask what was up, but I stopped when I heard my voice.

Somehow, as I would figure out later, I had changed into the form of my English teacher, the teacher of the class I was skipping, and by changing to look like him I could copy his voice too. At the time I was really confused, I did end up having a conversation with the principal, and got the rest of the day "off" because he noticed that I was acting strange and jumpy. He thought that I, my English teacher, had too much stress or something because of a group of students who had been going around and causing trouble all through the school recently.

Needless to say, I got out of there quick. I went home first, where I locked myself in my room and tried to figure out what was going on. That's when I figured out that I could change into anyone, on the outside at least. I ran tests on myself for the next few days, I even snuck into the clinic in town and had someone help me take an x-ray of myself, drugging them during the entire thing of course. Every time I answered a question I had about myself, two more seemed to take its place. After about a week though, I realized that I would have to leave town too, just like my friend had.

The reason? I couldn't really control it yet. I kept changing in public, and while luckily no-one really noticed other than me, eventually someone would have. I took a bunch of stuff from my family's store, packing it all into one of those heavy-duty packs you see people use when they climb Mt.Everest or wherever, and I left a suicide note on the windshield of my dad's truck. Then I left, hiking through the forest and eventually crossing the border into Canada.

Nothing really has happened since then that's interesting enough to mention here, up until when I got your letter that is. Which I guess brings me to my worries; I like to blend in, and my power helps with that, but somehow you found me, and I'm not sure how because I- This letter and application just, appeared in my bag one day, and I have no idea how. I just got to the nearest town, but when I got this I was literally in the middle of nowhere.

So, I have some questions to ask, but I guess those can all wait for until I meet you. I'll be hanging out in this town for a while, so if you wanna sent me another letter you can just do it normally, rather than being a ninja and sneaking it into my pack again. Goodbye for now I guess.

Erica looks up from her notepad and the strange application she was filling out, flinching at the loud crash of thunder that was way too close for comfort. She took a peek out of the small crack in the door to her tent, immediately regretting the decision when her face was pelted by the cold shards of hail mixed with the large raindrops of the storm around her. She took a towel and wiped her face off, turning on her small battery-powered radio.

The signal was bad, but from what she could make out, Erica figured that the storm wouldn't last long past sunrise, and began preparing to sleep. She packed everything up in her large, waterproof camping bag. Everything except for the letter and application to PITY, which she carefully folded and put in her pocket along with the one picture of her parents that didn't make her want to cry when she looked at it and her cell phone, which she always kept off so that she couldn't be tracked.

Finally hunkered down for the night, Erica drifted off into an uneasy sleep, only interrupted once by an extremely loud crash of thunder near dawn, and hopefully near the end of the storm. Once the storm finally was over, she cleaned up her camp and set off for the nearest town, to finally send the strange application and figure out what to do while she would wait for a response. Just before she decided to send it in, she made a few changes to the last section, adding in her worries for the future and a bit more personal information than she had originally planed to before forcing herself to actually put it in the mailbox to send.

Once it was no longer in her possession, Erica relaxed a bit, which was a mistake. She noticed in her reflection in a nearby shop window that her eyes were now two different colors, her shirt was a bit too girly of a style for a man the age that she looked, and her socks were now severely mismatched. Erica ducked into an alley as quickly as possible, changing into an easier form to hold. She was now a middle aged business woman wearing a simple blue dress, accenting the decidedly smaller curves of this form. She left the alley and went to the only hotel in town, booking a room indefinitely and locking all the doors and windows before settling in to live for a while.

Biography: Diana was just a quiet girl who liked to write poetry and go hiking through the woods in any type of weather. She enjoys storms and natural oddities/occurrences, and sometimes she'd spend entire days in the forest camping and writing. One day though, she heard a strange howling not too far from her campsite. She decided to go check it out, and was surprised to find an Elder wolf, one of the large pack that basically ruled the woods, trapped under a fallen tree that had been knocked over by the major storm the night before. She tried to approach him, to maybe pull him out from under the tree, but he snapped at her and growled so she couldn't get close enough to him.

She basically thought, 'I bet he just can't understand that I want to help him. I wish I could somehow just tell him...' and after a second she felt, smaller. A quick look around told her she was definitely shorter, but she couldn't understand how much easier it was to see the fine detail in everything. She could make out every little drop of water on the grass around her, and every little strand of her fur was- wait, FUR?

Diana turned in a circle a few times, trying to get a better look at herself, and only settling down when she heard a voice in her head. It was the voice of the trapped wolf, asking her how she had changed from a human, to a wolf. Diana had tried to say something, but all that came out was a very confused bark, and then a whimper. She eventually figured out that she could just direct her thoughts to the wolf for him to hear her, and she told him that she didn't know, that she had just wanted to help get him out from under the tree and then, poof.

The wolf didn't understand what she had meant by 'poof', but he did understand that he had been confused before about her motive for approaching him. He asked her if she could change back, and she didn't know how so they talked for a little while until she managed to change back. She got him out from the tree quickly, and then took a minute to change back into a wolf to talk to him again. They talked for a little while, Diana eventually managing to figure out how to change forms in seconds with the help of the Elder wolf.

After sunset, both of them had to go to their respective homes, so they planned to meet again the next day at the same spot. They did meet again, actually Diana ended up meeting the entire pack eventually. While some were hostile, most of them seemed to accept her readily. She spent most days of the next 2 years out in the forest with the wolves.

One day, as she was heading out the door to a 5-day 'camp' out in the forest, her parents surprised her with the letter from Northwood Academy, and she nearly fainted. The thing that kept her from fainting though, was how much she really couldn't wait to tell all her wolf friends. She took the letter, and read it over and over on her way to the den, getting more and more excited with every step. Only when she got there did she realize that, if she went, she wouldn't be able to stay in touch with the pack anymore. That thought almost kept her from leaving, but the pack teamed up and convinced her to go, and that they'd always remember her until she could come back to them.

Personality: She's really sensitive and intuitive, but she can be really mean if she wants to be. She writes poetry for fun, and loves nature. I suppose she'd be an artistic-geek type if she were more of a pushover.

So, Diana here is really special: When I dropped out of the RP she was in due to the group was a bunch of jerks some problems I had with the way the RP was going, I deleted all of the info I had of her in a fit of rage.

Maple Goldstien

Her normal eye color is bright blue, like the sea. Her hair color is also normally a bit darker, like chocolate. This pic is more like her if she's gone a week without feeding.

Reputation: She's normally a quiet girl, but not really shy. She keeps herself from getting too close to anyone because of her past mistakes, and she doesn't trust anyone really because of how others have treated her in the past too. She has a tendency to be rude or violent when she feels even slightly threatened, often starting fights and causing herself to make a few enemies.

History: Both her parents were vamps, and they were both killed in a raid on her family's mansion when she was only 7 years old. She only got away because the people who attacked her parents didn't even know that she existed, as she had never been allowed off the grounds of the mansion. After her parent's death, she came back to the mansion and continued to live there until she turned 19 years old, feeding on the few people who came to check out "the vamp's old haunted mansion".

She never went feral, but she did come close a few times, and she had to leave the mansion a few times to hunt so she wouldn't. One night, she had gone almost 10 days without feeding, so she went into the city and attacked a few people. While she was always careful to not be seen, she messed up somehow that time, and a large mob soon had her surrounded. She was gonna attack them all, she didn't care about them, but she didn't have to.

A man wearing a white suit parted the crowd, and basically saved her. After the mob left, he told her about Scarlet Briar Academy. Tired of being alone all the time, and her constant worry over her survival, she accepted the man's offer and decided to attend the academy.

Secrets: She has a tendency to be rude or violent not only when she feels threatened, but is even more so towards those she likes. She doesn't want to get too close to anyone because she is afraid that they'll either hurt her, or that she'll end up hurting them.

Misc.: She focuses on mental magic. Also, she is Canadian, although it's not obvious other than she doesn't understand some American laws and celebrities and so on.

She will push her fear to the side and replace it with anger and a 'get-it-done' attitude most of the time, and is very smart and cunning in extreme situations.

Friends: Raja Tran, A young man that she grew up with. He was the one who saved her from the creature's attack when she was younger.
Enemies: Sukarno Dwi, Nisa's rival. They were Shamman-in-training together, but he failed, causing him to resent Nisa ever since, even causing him to try and trick her into getting lost in the jungle.
Defining Moments: She learned how to swim at a young age, and has been basically a prodigy child ever since, succeeding in everything she put her mind to and becoming the youngest Shamman in her Tribe's history at the age of 16.
A Typical Day: Nisa always wakes just after dawn, and proceeds to make her rounds. She checks the wounded and sick, and then goes to help prepare the midday meal with the rest of her hunting group. Because of her group's aptitude for swimming, they normally hunt fish in the shallows of the sea near their camp. After the meal is caught and cooked, the Tribe eats together in the center of camp, Nisa feeds the sick who cannot eat for themselves afterwards. Once she is done with her healing duties, she goes down to the seashore to meditate until sunset. Sometimes the people of her tribe will come to her while she is meditating and ask about problems they are having, or worries of the future. At sunset, families gather for the last meal of the day. As Nisa's family is all dead or missing, she eats with the sick and wounded who could not join their families that day. After the last meal of the day, Nisa does her rounds again and then walks around the camp once before going to sleep, bidding her people goodnight.

Village detail

Tribe/Village Detail:
The Island is located in the Caribbean sea and the Bermuda Triangle, within sight of many other Islands but that the Rosario clan of the Chus-Cande have never been able to get to due to the many freak tropical storms that occur near their Island. The Island itself is mainly dense jungles and the large plains region where the tribe actually lives. The villagers don't actually know how large the Island is, as they've never been able to go all the way around it around the coast. On either side of the village there are large cliffs going all the way to the shoreline, blocking the villagers from walking along the coast away from the bay formed by the cliffs that is in between the village and open ocean.

The cliffs slope down as they go inland, but the jungle takes them over before they are low enough to be easily climbed, and the face of the cliff is so steep that it is nearly impossible to climb anywhere else. The villagers are able to go around these cliffs on boats to other beaches where some villagers have before attempted to go and start another village, but have always been thwarted by the jungle and harsh seas there.

The village itself is set up in a circular fashion, with the paths and such forming the markings for a written incantation that, when activated by everyone in the village, will start a protection spell that causes the ocean to rise over the village in a dome that has been used many times to protect the village from the hurricanes that hit the island occasionally.

There is a large wall around the side of the village that borders with the jungle, with the only way through being the 'gate of the lost' named in Chus-Cande. Around the other other edges of the village there are farming plots, and on the opposite side from the jungle was a wide beach where the villagers keep their boats and smaller ships when they aren't in the bay or on a voyage.

The bay between the beach and the ocean holds the larger boats and ships, and is normally calm enough for the villagers to swim and fish in its waters. the waters around the island are very clean, but there is no freshwater source anywhere that they know of. That's not a very big problem though because anyone can purify small amounts of water to make it drinkable with fairly little effort, however the Shamman is the one mainly responsible for the water needed to water the village's crops and take care of the livestock.

The village itself is made up of clay buildings and tents For buildings that were damaged or destroyed and in need of repair and rebuilding, with all the Orphans and sickly living in one large building in the center of the village. A building next to the central hall serves as a type of library, storing any and all information on Tratagua'na.

Magic stuff

Magic: They view magic as mainly good, as it has practical use. A Shaman is a religious leader that also serves as a teacher and has a lot more stamina and strength in the use of magic than most people of their tribe.

Focus: Control over the element of water. Different things can be done with this including healing and fighting applications.

Balance: The longer one meditates, the better and easier they are able to control it. When they are actually controlling it though, the user will get fatigued and maybe even ill. Essentially, the control starts within the user, and that determines the speed at which they get weaker while using it based on their own control of themselves, that's why meditation helps make the control easier. There must be water present for it to be controlled.

Process: Chanting and incantations, along with the use of a symbolic written language that can act as an incantation in situations where speech is unnecessary or ill-advised. The water responds to the incantation and takes it's toll, following the will of the user. Needless to say that this also takes a lot of concentration on what the user wants the elements to do. When a Shaman leads an incantation, all those who speak with them are lending their focus and bodies to the outcome of the spell, however they always have a choice whether to speak or not.

What Nisa can actually do: She can control large amounts of Water, in order to create large waves, or to filter it so it is drinkable. Also she can control the water in a person's body (their blood basically) to help speed the healing process. She is incapable of focusing on a very large amount of water for a long time, even with the help of others.

Chus-Cande

Chus-Cande is a strange language that seems to be a mixture of the syllables and sounds used in the incantations that her tribe uses to invoke the power of tratagua'na, and the two other spoken languages; Spanish and English. The Chus-Cande people are a 'kindgom' of sorts, made up of many different tribes. Nisa's people are the Chus-Cande, but she is Shaman of the Rosario tribe of Chus-Cande, or the Rosario Chus-Cande.

Common Chus-Cande words and what they mean.

• Tratagua'na = literally means 'water treaty'. This is the name for the Chus-Cande's magic abilities to control water.
• Shaman = This actually has a similar, but different enough meaning to put on this list. When used in reference to anyone who is a part of the tribe, it means the English definition, a leader and teacher. When used to describe an outsider, it roughly means 'sheep'. This is an insult, as sheep are considered dumb and impressionable.

Bio: She's a professional diver/field archaeologist. She's one of the divers from the first group, the one that sent out the signal to get the next group to come look for them. She got separated from the other members of her group and has been looking for them, managing to evade capture by the monsters so far.
Relationships: her fellow divers all know that she's willing to listen if they need someone to talk to, she considers all her colleagues a friend. She's an only child, and her parents are on the surface hoping she'll come home safe.
Skill: Good at making snap-decisions and diffusing difficult situations between peers. (aka taking control when needed and stopping arguments easily)
Equipment: Wet suit, other diving equipment, multiple hair ties that she wears around her wrist like bracelets, and a piece of obsidian that functions as a good-luck charm.

Nina (Nisa) is one of my favorite characters to have interacting with others. She feels so real to me, in both her forms, and I'm very sad that I don't get to play her anymore.
