Attie, "the Sanguine Son"
Birth Date:
03/14/1992
Age:
24 (7th Year)
Gender:
Male
Sexuality:
Heterosexual
In Depth Appearance:
Atticus is a bulky man, standing at an intimidating 6"7' and weighs 275lbs. His facial features are bold, grizzled, and gruff, and there seems to be a permanent scowl scrawled across his lips. Atop his skull, he sports short, black hair that he styles obsessively. The man's sullen, hazel eyes dart around constantly, as if waiting for something to happen. Beneath his vexed visage, his muscles are clearly visible, honed to peak performance, and he makes sure everyone knows his strength. Were it not for his constant tough guy look, one might be able to consider Atticus as attractive.
Clothing Style:
Someone of his social status can only be expected to wear the finest of garments. All of his clothing is high end, name brand fabric, and he doesn't go a day without dressing to the nines. In fact, his ego practically bleeds through his form fitting threads. For combat, Atticus dawns a snug leather jerkin, complete with steel plates running down his left arm.

Personality:
♦ Arrogant ♦ Fearless ♦ Destructive ♦ Sensitive
Atticus is a vain man, as evidenced by his fine threads and fierce demeanor. There is very little to say about the man that he hasn't said himself. Lording himself over others and intimidating those that get in his way, quite a few people try not to approach him, especially when he seems to be in a bad mood. Atticus has a tendency to flip out when people try and tell him what to do or criticize him in any manner. Pushing the man beyond what people would consider his "normal" tantrums is likely to end with violence. Strangely, sentimental moments, such as in movies, will bring the man to tears.
Background:
Atticus was born into privilege and wealth beyond what most could imagine. His mother inherited money from her oil tycoon father, so there were never any hardships in Atticus' life. Growing up between cities of Monaco and Milan, Italy, his mother was more lenient than she should have been and there were never any restrictions put on him. The people in his life coddled and praised him needlessly, cultivating his personality as man of arrogance and pretentiousness. Even as a little kid, he just knew he was the best at everything.
The young Sanguine Son had everything at his disposal: money, mountains of toys and electronics, the finest threads... Anything he wanted, he got. But this was never enough for Atticus, for he desired the thrill of battle, the blood... the violence. In order to sate her son, his mother enrolled him in private lessons with one of the world's finest Krav Maga teachers. It wasn't long before Atticus outpaced the lessons and accidentally beat his mentor to a bloody pulp. In this moment, the son of Ares discovered his power of blood manipulation. His disturbing power instigated his mother to plead to the God of War for guidance on this matter. Their son was a firebrand and a blood-manipulating demon, and she could no longer control the boy.
Ares answered his concubine's call and came to take their son to the Olympus Academy, although under one condition: Atticus had to spar with his father. As expected of the ensuing battle, Ares won a flawless victory and broke nearly every bone in his son's body. The humiliating defeat he suffered at the hands of his father would be the driving force for Atticus when he enrolled in the Academy.
Thus far, the Sanguine Son has done more than what the teachers' expected of him. Being all brawn and nearly no brains, Atticus failed his first year due to poor performance on tests, but he excelled in all physical aspects. Currently, he is in his 7th year and has learned to hone his mind and body to make the perfect killing machine.

Godly Parent:
Ares
Relationship With Godly Parent:
Atticus and Ares have a chaotic relationship for sure. Some days they're the best of friends who agree on everything; other days they're at each others' throats. It's a small wonder they haven't killed each other. Atticus views his father as a rival and seeks to overthrow Ares one day. Ares welcomes his son to try and awaits their final battle.
Godly Abilities:
Pride's Boon - Atticus is immune to mind affecting abilities due to his indomitable will. Only he controls his actions, no matter how foolish they may be.
Blood Feast - The Son of Strife possesses the ability to manipulate blood and solidify it. A drop of his own blood can conjure a terrifying weapon of his choice. However, if he is manipulating his own blood, he can overextend his powers and bleed out. As is expected of an 7th year, he is quite disciplined in the use of this ability.
Gorefiend - At the zenith of Atticus' rage, the Sanguine Son becomes a savage monstrosity, reminiscent of a bloody devil, that absorbs the life force of any he touches. Both his physical abilities are increased and he can manifest blood from the air around him. Very few who witness this form live to tell the tale.
