I'm 32 years old and from the US. As a result, I would prefer if my partners are 18+.

I do live with a dissociative disorder. While it does not impede drastically with my ability to keep up with posts, please do bear it in mind.

Always open to a roleplay, or roleplay suggestion.

@leopard wcue Alright
The floorboards of the rickety studio creaked. A shudderous symphony riddled the staircase in groaning agony with every step up the flight. The fluorescent lights shining overhead buzzed with a drilling monotony that filled the creeping silence of that side of the studio.

This is where magic comes to life.

It’s the mid 30’s in New York. Animation is taking the west by storm -- rubber-hose has been revolutionizing the way images come to life for a handful of years now. With your studio in full-swing and cartoons in demand, there’s never a bleak moment here at Grindle & Co. Studios! Come explore the imagination of comic strips jumping out of the paper and onto the reel, peel back the layers of these joyous cartoons for a rubberhose nightmare dream!

After all, all dreams come to life. You just need the heart to make it happen!

I’m not necessarily sure how to write an interest check. Anywho, here’s my idea. A roleplay set in 1935 in New York, surrounding an early animation studio. It’s meant mostly as a slice-of-life, historic, and dramatic. Would definitely surround the drama around the staff at the studio as cartoons advance and people come and go. All the drama.

And I mean, since it’s set in the thirties, get wild. All the drama that comes with the mid-thirties. Be as unique as you want within the realm of historic accuracy. It’s meant to have a good lighthearted to dramatic ratio.

You don’t necessarily need to know a lot about the thirties themselves. Or about old cartoons. But that would be appreciated.

So… yeah.
Well, somehow, I'm here now. Just by some miraculous turn of fate, I've surrendered myself to the want of interaction.

Basically, I'm no stranger to roleplaying. I just haven't done so in a while. That being said, I'm no stranger to the peculiar, strange, or macabre. I like pretty much everything from mysteries, to thrillers, to fantasy, science-fiction, apocalypse, and even the occasional slice-of-life and/or comedy. Although these are few and far between; I tend to enjoy more plot-heavy stories.

...So.

Yeah.
