@Midnight Stars. People have a life outside of the site and will unfortunately disappear when emergencies strike. Not everyone has the time to be online every day/all the time.

That time of the year again; Founders Day.

One of Vivienne's favorite times. It was a day, that most in Salem enjoyed. The community got together, to celebrate. Mortal, Supernaturals alike. Everyone seemed to put aside their differences for that event. At times, it seemed like it was rehearsed. Putting on the 'fake' smiles and 'pleasantries' with your enemies, and people you disliked for the day. Then when the vents were over...you were back, to the 'same old same old' rivalries, mishaps, arguments and what not.
Not that it really bothered Vivienne. There were quite a few people, that she'd rather not exchange pleasantries with all the time. Being Cold and Bitter; it was what most people knew about her personality. Only those, that got to know the 'real' her...saw a different side to her. Which was rare. But she was not all, that people made her out to be. And those, that knew her more than anyone..were the people she felt no need to hide from. Not be hidden, beneath the cold and bitterness.

But she usually, was rather very pleasant during the celebrations. She had always felt, happy during the Founders Day. It was odd, to see her sulking during such an Important event. During that time, she on occasion enjoyed a flirtatious encounter, with someone who'd catch her eye.

With Washington Square filling up; Vivienne caught a sight of a few familiar faces. Including Young William. He might have been a Werewolf; but her grand-mother knew the young boy. She had made him the necklace he wore, before the Full Moon. He was quite a nice guy actually; very excitable and sweet. Then she noticed the elder Werewolf, Devin. He always looked bit scruffy, but managed to pass it off as attractive, nonetheless. Mostly, he was always alone...or out of sight. Never bothering anyone. But Vivienne couldn't help but stiffen slightly, when she caught sight of Dante and Madam Laveau. Members of the Voodoo Coven. Her enemies. If there was anyone Vivienne disliked the most. It was the Voodoo Coven. It was not just a big dislike. It was also fear.

But being whom she was; Vivienne would not admit defeat and fear easily. Especially around them. No one, knew her deepest fears..besides her grand-mother.

Her grand-mother was actually by her side. The pair had a stall going in the Square. Vivienne owned her own Wicca Store. Or in the eyes of the mortal public. A pawn Shop. On the table, in front of them. There were various charms, protections charms and runes, trinkets and antiques that could be found in her shop. But with the amount of people out and about, it was a perfect opportunity to sell things to the public, as well as believers and practitioners of magic.

As she finished setting things up. Vivienne felt a shiver down her spine. Something felt odd...wrong all of a sudden. "Gran, what's going on?" She whispered, to the elder woman by her side.

"I am not sure yet....Just act normal, my dear. Don't be suspicious." The elder witch, whispered to her Grand-daughter. It seemed, like the elder of the two knew something was going on. But they did not want to attract, unwanted attention.

Vivienne nodded. 'Right normal.' she told herself. As a few people passed the stall, Vivienne smiled warmly towards them, offering them to look through what she and her gran had on offer.

Location; Fabian's Apartment Her Apartment
Interacting With; Fabian{@HushedWhispers}, Jason {@Helo}, Adam{@Joker892}, Corinne{@Ejected}

Layla rose an eyebrow, as she heard Jason. But couldn't help but laugh at his teasing. The young woman just shook her head. Rolling her brown eyes into the back of her head. She was sure, the boys would enjoy that, if that happened. "You wish! No end game here." Layla told him, with a smirk. "Besides, do I need to remind you? You boys always come and go without knocking and one of you...not pointing fingers...always raids the fridge on the way out." Layla then smiled, as Jason seemed to pick up on her scent. "You really have a nose of a hound-dog!" she teased him, with a laugh. "Maybe, I was whipping something up for Thanksgiving." she said with a smile.

"Also we all know, your eating habits." Layla told him. Jason could eat and eat..and eat. No wonder, she had to check up on him. Feeling her phone buzz, Layla seemed to have a bit of a hoard of incoming messages. Reading the message from Fabian, she just smiled. Hopefully, they'd know who was coming or not later on. Her next message was from Adam. But the message made her frown slightly. Seemed like he didn't have a break...not even for Thanksgiving. Layla began to respond to his message:

To Adam:
That's a shame. I hope you'll join us soon, if you manage to get out of work earlier. Happy Thanksgiving Sammy.

Despite his first name being Adam, Layla did on occasion call him 'Sammy or Samuel' If you wanted to tease, by using his middle name instead. She kind of got used to calling him that. As she put her phone back in her pocket; she smiled hearing Fabian come in. "Hey Bro, glad to see you made it out alive." she teased; knowing how hectic the supermarkets got at this time of the year.

"Darn, you boys know me too well. Can't a girl surprise you?" Layla asked; shaking her head with a laugh. "I was actually, finishing something off, before I came to check up on fridge boy over here." she teasingly nodded her head over to Jason. But smiled at one of her friends warmly. Even if she teased Jason, it was out of love and friendship. No harm. "Actually, I just got a text from Adam. He's gonna be late, work stuff. I am still not sure about Amy, I think she mentioned she already had dinner plans with her boyfriend, at her parents house." Layla filled him in, as he asked. That was all she knew so far.

Hearing Fabian; she half as expected him to ask that question. "I can help, but you guys have got to get rid of anything that's off. I ain't eating Stale bread, on Thanksgiving." she said. Layla had always caught the guys, with a full fridge...and more often than not. Some of the stuff, was always past it's use by date. They never ever learned. "I'll be back in a bit. I got to finish off my Thanksgiving cake for you I'll....be back in a few." she smiled, before ruffling both of their hair. Layla then walked out of the Apartment. Across the hall,back into her own.

Getting back to her cake; Layla began to finish of the Icing. Before putting on some decorations. Marzipan Flowers. It didn't take her long; Only 6 more minutes, and she was setting the cake back into the Fridge. So it could set before tonight.

As her phone buzzed again. Layla shook her head to herself. "Always on Thanksgiving, my phone buzzes like nuts." she muttered to herself, with a laugh before seeing the text from Corinne. A girl so different than her, but her best-friend. Layla often wondered, how the pair ended up being such close friends. Despite, their differences and Layla's opinion of Cori's love-life and heart-breaking tactics. The girl, was still a good friend to her, and there when she needed her. Layla then sent her a text;

To Cori:
I actually, agreed to help Fabian with Thanksgiving Dinner. Are you coming to the get-together? If so,
bring the pie with you to that :) If you don't mind, hanging me and the bro's...come over to his.

Tauriel just smiled at Legolas softly "Aww come on, there's nothing wrong with that." she told him with a warm smile. But caught his brief blush. She didn't think there was anything wrong with him worrying, for the younger she-elf, that was in their company.

Yavanna smiled softly, but looked at Legolas with soft eyes; seeing the slight blush on his cheeks. But wondered to herself, if he had been as worried as she was. His thoughts, made her glance towards the Mountain. In truth, Yavanna had been worried, since Thorin and Bard's argument before the company's departure. "Honestly, I've had a bad feeling for a while too." she said softly. But his thoughts, did provoke a deeper thought inside of her head. Wondering if there was something, she and the Company did not know. "Do you know, something else?" Yavanna asked him softly, looking concerned. Wondering, if he found out something during the Orc hunt.

Legolas thoughts seemed to have provoked an inner worry, in both the elves in his presence. "Did you see something?" she asked Legolas.
