My next post we'll be heading to the next class, I'll let you decide which of your characters meets up with who, and any creatures they come into contact with that I've revealed to them, I'll let you decide how the battle plays out, weather the creature is easy to kill or if you think they may need assistance then they run from the creature until they come across someone to help them.
You'll see what I mean in my next post, I'm almost done with it.
Well, its mostly to prevent someone from becoming stagnant or gain writers block from not being able to think of something to put, and it will give them time to think of things for future posts. Considering a week is 10 days instead of 7, it will probably get a bit hard to come up with things to discuss not only for classes, but for day to day things. I'd would only do the time skip if I start feeling like things are slowing down and its harder to come up with something to put in for progression.
It wouldn't happen often, but I have come to some points in a roleplay, where I'd ask whoever I'm roleplaying with if they'd like to do a time skip to get to the next part of the story. Mostly if I don't know what to put to help progress.
Question, would you rather roleplay each day, or would you rather do some time skips to pass days by to get the story going? By time skip, I mean we speed things along by explaining what they do each day that doesn't have anything important going on, and if we want to have some interactions we can write what we do then.
I don't mind either way, just wanted your opinion on it.
I'll look at it, but it probably won't change anything. Everyone writes in different ways and have their own preferences on how they write. I've been doing it like this for about around 15-20 years. Either way lets see what you've got to say.
Nella glances over towards Didani as she mentions that Survival Training would be where they fight each other as she thinks for a moment and says, "Some how I doubt that is the primary goal of Survival Training, it may happen eventually like some kind of tournament thing or something, but I doubt they will have us fight each other on the first day." Thinking about it a bit more as she hears the others talking about targets and teamwork as Hasuno asks, "What are we in high school or something? This is an academy for adults, as Nella said fighting each other is probably going to be a tournament thing later on, but I also doubt they will have targets for us to attack. If anything it'll probably be based on the name of the class. Like teaching us how to survive in the wild or things that could help us in other worlds. Though teamwork will probably be a big thing as well." Mimi and Momo both raise their hand as they asked the teacher at the same time, "Ms. Clair do you know what the Survival Training is about?" Ms. Clair glances over towards the twins as she thinks for a moment and says, "I think that is up to the instructor of the class to explain things to you all on the first day. I'm sorry girls, but you'll have to wait until you get to the class to find out what you'll be doing and learning there." The twins frown a little with puffy cheeks since the teacher wasn't cooperating in telling them about their next class.
A couple hours later of chatting and class, the bell went off signaling the students that first class was over and that lunch was ready as students headed out of class and headed for the cafeteria for lunch. As Nella heads out of the classroom she was then joined by her twin sisters as Mimi and Momo walk up to her and asks, "Wanna eat together sis?" Nella glances back towards the two and then towards their roommates as she asks, "What about your roommates?" They both tilt their head and glance back towards their roommates at the same time as they smiled and asks at the same time, "Would you two like to eat with us as well?" Hasuno flies out of the classroom as she says, "You all have fun, I'm going to grab my meal to go and eat outside." Hasuno glances back towards her roommate and asks, "Hey Xuno, wanna eat outside with me?" Nella then glances over towards Didani and asks, "What do you think, wanna eat lunch with my twin sisters?" Mimi and Momo both look at Didani, Khathi, and Lilith with cute puppy dog eyes in hopes they would agree, even if they were to agree, they added the puppy dog eyes incase they tried to refuse at first.
While Lilith was adding a few changes to their home, Mimi walked over to her gear and picked up her weapons, placing the large boomerang on her back which was as tall as her, but when equipped on her back the wing of the boomerang hovered a foot off the ground, then she picked up her shotgun and placed it to the side under her Flowrang. After equiping her gear she was startled a little as she was picked up by Lilith who apologized for startling her as she blushes a little and says, "I-if you want, then lets head back to class." As they left their home, they would see other students heading back to the school and would join them. While leaving the Dorm ground one of the teachers were handing out a small sheet of paper to each student including them which showed their home room class number, as the two would look at the paper, they would notice they both were in the same home room.
Listening to Didani joke about her taking whatever side was left Nella watched as she showed her dark side and then change quickly by smiling as she claims the right side of the bed, leaving her the left side as she smiles and says, "Good to know, but let's hope I won't be holding onto this acceptance speech for very long, cause honestly I was expecting to give a speech when we had the assembly, but Gardener didn't call me up." Nella walks over to her gear and picks up her Reapers Scythe and equips it onto her back, then attaches her assault rifle onto her back as well across her Scythe, like the two were forming an X. After that she glances over towards Didani who made a deer joke as she walks towards her and says, "I'm not really that skittish, if anyone is that skittish, it's probably my little sister, she jumps at almost anything that would startle her. Hopefully being away from the island will allow her to grow and prepare more for what to expect here in new places." As the two leave their housing and head down stairs to the front of the building to leave for school, they would notice a teacher handing a small piece of paper to the students as each of them receive a paper, they would notice their home room number and would see the two of them are in the same home room class as they leave.
After the modifications were made to their new home, Nella used her wind power to pick up her equipment and float them over to her, then attached her Dual Dagger to her lower back in an X shape, then equipped her long bow to her back, along with her pistol to her right hip. After equipping her gear, she then flies across the air like she was swimming through the air and says, "I think we're ready to head back to the school, once you're geared up lets head out." Once Xuno was ready they would then leave their housing and head back towards the school.
Momo would glance over towards Khathi as she would tap in rhythm and figured she liked music as well as she figured that was something they had in common, but decided not to mention it. Then glancing around at the added things that she added to their home, she then thinks for a moment and wondered if she was doing it for her incase she ever got hurt. To be honest, Momo didn't think of adding steps to anything since she could fly, but didn't think of what would happen if her wings got injured and how she would get to everything, so it made her happy that her roommate thought about her, even if that wasn't her intent. Momo then grabs her Crescent Pendulum and attaches it to the side of her hip, then attached her SMG to her other hip, and placed her rifle onto her back. After they were ready Momo then flies up into the air and says, "I think we got everything ready, let's head back to the school." Momo would then fly towards the tiny door she made and walked through it, and then flies towards the exit of their home, opening another tiny door and walking outside. Which she would then fly out towards the school.
Upon flying towards the school, she would notice her sister Hasuno swimming through the air like she was flying as she giggles and flies over to her as she says, "Hey sis! Heading back to school?" Hasuno would glance over towards her little sister as she smiles and says, "Yea, I'm heading back. By the way, I want you to meet my roommate, this is Xuno, Xuno this is my younger sister Momo, she has a twin, but they were separated and placed in different dorms." Hasuno glances over towards the girl near Momo as she asks, "Who's you're friend?" Momo glances over towards Khathi as she says, "Oh, this is my roommate Khat, Khat, this is my sister Hasuno... She is the middle sibling of our family, our older sister is in a different dorm." As the group of girls headed back towards the school, they would notice a teacher handing each student a piece of paper, as the four of them would look at their papers, they would notice the four of them would be in the same home room as Momo smiles brightly and says, "Yes! Looks like we'll be in the same home room sis! I wonder if Mimi and Nella are going to be in the same home room?" Hasuno giggles a little and says, "It seems so, but there is only one way to find out if they will be." Momo nods as the group heads back towards the school.
After all the students returned back to the school and made their way towards their respective home rooms, upon entering their home room Nella and Didani would be one of the first to arrive in their home room as the teacher then says, "Welcome, go ahead and have a seat, you can choose whichever seat you want." Nella then heads for the seats and sits down in one of the middle seats, while she was sitting down Hasuno, Momo, Xuno, and Khathi would be the next to arrive as the teacher welcomes them and has them choose their seats. As Momo and Hasuno glances around at the seats, the two would notice their sister Nella sitting in the middle of the room as Momo flies over and lands on Nella's desk as she smiles brightly and says, "Nella! Looks like we're in the same room together!" Hasuno flies over towards her sister and says, "Same here..." Glancing around she doesn't see Mimi though, but there was still time for students to arrive as she says, "Looks like almost the whole family is here, we're just missing one more person. Oh by the way, I want you to meet my roommate, this is Xuno, Xuno this is our oldest sister Nella."
As Nella was about to say something, Momo jumps in and says, "Right! Let me introduce my roommate as well, this is Khat, Khat this is Nella... Wait, you already know that, cause Hasuno introduced her..." Nella giggles as she says, "It's nice to meet you both, allow me to introduce my roommate since we're introducing people." Nella motions over towards the location Didani decided to sit and says, "This is Didani, my roommate, Didani these are my younger sisters Hasuno and Momo, Momo has a twin sister, but we're not sure if she'll be in the same room as us or not." Just as she finishes that sentence Mimi and Lilith would walk in as Mimi would notice her sisters and quickly zoom past everyone in the room as the teacher welcomed them and she picks her twin sister up gently, but quickly and hugs her twin sister Momo as she exclaims, "Momo!" Momo jumps a little in surprise as she realizes her twin picked her up and smiles as she hugs her sister back as she says in surprise, "Mimi!" Nella giggles as she says, "Well, speak of the devil, here she is now, this is Momo's twin Mimi." Though the two were completely different species, the two looked nearly identical, which if it wasn't for their size difference and species difference, they would look practically like identical twins. Mimi would then notice everyone as Nella, Hasuno, and Momo would introduce her to their roommates, Mimi would then introduce hers as well as she says, "Nice to meet you all, this is my roommate Lilith."
Once everyone arrived the teacher would then say, "Alright everyone, go ahead and take your seats, we'll begin with introduction and then I'll explain what Home Room will be for." As all the students take their seats, Nella in the middle of the class, Mimi and Momo taking the far right seats of the class closest to the doors, and Hasuno sitting near be far left of the class near the window, but almost near the back of the class. The teacher would then start speaking, "I would like to welcome you all once more, I am your home room teacher Ms. Clair, this class will be your study room in a sense, during the beginning of each week, if you're not studying on your own after your classes, you'll come in here and spend your time with your classmate and help each other out with their study. However, if there is something you can't figure out and your other classmates can't figure it out, or if you would prefer a teachers advice, come to me and I'll help you with your studies. Since this is your first class for the first week and there is nothing for you to study right now, go ahead and just mingle with your fellow class mates, but first before I let you all relax, why don't we have everyone introduce themselves." The teacher then has everyone take turns by standing up and introducing themselves to the rest of the class.
After everyone had introduced themselves, they were free to start mingling with each other as Mimi glances back to her sister and says, "I think lunch happens after the first class right?" Momo nods as she says, "Yea, we should check out the cafeteria and see what they will be serving!" Mimi and Momo both nod as the teacher walks up to them and says, "Here you two, this is your class schedule, this will show you what classes you two will be taking and on what day." Mimi and Momo both take their papers and glancing over them as they both noticed they were in the same classes on the same day. The teacher would hand the papers out to each student and it would show that everyone in their home room would be in the same classes on the same day as Nella says, "I guess that makes things easier for the teacher, that way not a single student would be making things difficult for the teacher if they were all in a different class than the rest of us." Hasuno glancing over her paper then says, "Oh? Looks like we'll be having Survival Training next, I wonder if we'll actually be doing anything on the first day or if it will be more like home room where we relax and do nothing?"
The expedition of the Space Colony ship is in it's final stages of launch as they prepare to let all civilians and soldiers who are travelling into space onto the ship. As they prepare, several ships start to arrive on earth from other planets who have brought their own civilians and soldiers to earth to join the colony space ship on their travels to seek out other planets to colonize. One ship from Mars arrived as Sarah got out the ship and headed towards the line to the entrance. Saluting the higher commanders they allowed her onto the ship as they continued to prepare for launch. One of the Commanders then stops Sarah and says, "Oh by the way, your room will be in the East Wing of the ship Room 100, and you'll also be the Scout Squad One Leader." Sarah started to get angry as she says, "You have got to be kidding me! Why am I in a Scout Squad, and Leader at that?" The Commander shrugs and says, "Don't know, I'm just passing on the message from the higher ups, letting those know that those who have been assigned to the Scout Unit." Sarah walks off pissed as she says, "Fine." She heads onto the ship as it floats above the Earth, drifting in the Earth Orbital Field waiting for all Soldiers and Civilians to board the ship. Once Ko arrived a Commander would allow her on board and tell her, her room was in the Central Wing and will be roomed with another soldier, while at the same telling her she would be apart the Scout Squad One.
As civilians and soldiers make their way through the ship either to head to their quarters or explore the ship, they could see several Soldiers wearing full body armor as well, some of the armor looks interesting, intimidating, or just plain cool, though there were a few who wore armor that didn't look as interesting as others. Though there were rumors that a group of soldiers were joining the rest of the soldiers to help them protect the civilians and these special soldiers had special equipment that the normal Soldiers didn't have. Soldier being one of these Special Soldiers was in the Hanger helping the workers pack up and store equipment and supplies into Storage. Paradox was in the labs with Doctor Gardener, as she was helping her sort things out as they prepare for launch, though Paradox was acting a little off, which was normal for her for those who are also apart of the Special Forces as they would know why she would be a little off, but to others they would think she had a split personality disorder or she was mentally challenged as she would randomly act differently than normal. However Doctor Gardener was watching out for her as she was currently in this state, and normally watches out for her whenever she does enter into this state of mind.
Off to the side of the Hanger where civilians and soldiers were entering into the ship to board and prepare for launch, a small mouse seems to manage to pass by some of the soldiers who weren't paying attention and enters into the ship, as the mouse wanders farther into the ship, a soldier spots a glimpse of it as it passes behind a box, but as the soldier goes to check it out, he notices no mouse anywhere to be seen. Nor does he see any animal hiding behind the box, as he figured he was just seeing things, as he was about to turn around and head down the halls back to his position, he suddenly bumps into something, but notices nothing was there as he glances around and says, "Maybe I'm just stressed from everything that is happening. I'll go and see the doctor after my shift." He then heads back to his post as he keeps watch for anyone who tries to sneak in. One of the commanders who was attending the Civilian Line and checking Civilians in, he then looks towards Yin She as he checks his holo Tablet and says, "Miss She, you will be in the Central Wing, in room 00A, hope you enjoy your stay here in the Colony Ship." As Liu Xing walks up he then glances over the tablet and then says, "Miss Xing, you will be in the East Wing in room 00B, hope you enjoy your stay here in the Colony Ship."
Everything looks good, all are approved, give me a bit of time to get the roleplay information set up and to get the starting post up and ready, then you should be able to start roleplaying.
I should mention, that just so you know your Deserter character will not have those big robotic arms, or the special suit. As I mentioned before Special Armored Suits are for Special Forces, since she is a deserter she will not have a special suit, and the reason she won't have the large mechanical arms, is because Gardener and the Government would have taken them away from her to make her look more Elf like and so she could fit in with society.
However, if at some point during the story you decide she wants to return and become apart of the Special Forces, she will most likely regain her robotic arms back and gain a special suit for her to wear. The same will be true for any character who decides to join the Special Forces, in order to join, they would have to speak to Doctor Gardener and convince her to let them join.
However, in order to join, they too must accept that they will become considered experiments and owned by the government, but they will also be considered the next Generation of experiments and will most likely not have any of the side effects the old experiments gained during their time as experiments. Especially since they are now far more advanced since then and she has way better equipment and knowledge of what she would be doing.
