Is there any better feeling than tsumo after a kan, and the dora turns out to be the four tiles you just called? I think not.

It's so fun to make random OCs for an RP I will probably never run

Went to an fan convention yesterday after a three year break from them. I forgot how much I love seeing people's creativity, and how fun making even a simple costume is!

Hello! I'm Yankee.
I'm usually down for pretty much anything: action, adventure, romance, horror, taboo, comedy, smut, gore, slice-of-life, etc.
I like cute, fun stories just as much as dark, gross, traumatic (for character) stories. I enjoy creating original characters for RP,
but I get as much enjoyment writing as canon characters in fandom-based games!
On that note I like comic books, cartoons, and videogames. I'm also very into cosplay and art!

I am a very slow writer, so my preferred posting pace is once per week or less. I usually post on weekends.
I like to have fun while writing, so I prefer relaxed partners who don't take things too seriously.
Remember: fiction =/= reality.

Feel free to PM me to chat!
However I do not check PMs immediately. Might take me a day or two... or ten to get back to you.

Forward all complaints to @stone

Location: Spiral Mountain -> The End

Some of the group wandered off after the spirit claiming, but not Cadet. As eager was he was to get going, fight the big bad thing and free the good people of Lumbridge (or so he'd been told would probably happen), the hunter was glad he'd stayed put this time. He felt like he learned a little more about this crazy world they all found themselves in, listening to words that weren't exactly meant for him. By the time the whole group came back together again and Peach gave them her short, but inspiring speech, Cadet was more ready then ever. He let out a whoop with Peach's rallying cry and honestly? He was crushing a little bit. The Princess was cool.

Everyone filtered together to cross the bridge at the mountain's top. As Cadet waited his turn to cross, he shifted his weight back and forth between each of his feet, and the cage at his hip jangled lightly. An idea formed in his head, something that would help if Bowser was right and they faced a maze inside of the dark portal.

"Oh! Real quick," Ace Cadet spoke to the squad at large, holding his scoutfly cage up and shaking it gently open to let the glowing insects inside out. "If it's really a maze inside, it'll be a good idea for these guys to get all of your scents. That way if we get separated, we can find each other. And if it's not a maze, well, can't hurt right?" The scoutflies drifted over to each member of their group, buzzing around them briefly before returning to their holding chamber. The hunter made sure that the members of the crew he most recently met, the likes of Fox, Sectonia, Cuphead and Link, got an extra face full of brightly lit bugs. "Their noses are even better than a poogie's - well, I don't actually know if they have noses but you get what I mean!"

Of course, once crossing over the threshold it was quite clear that the other side wasn't a maze so much as it was... a dark, nasty general area. The sudden change from daylight to swirling darkness took a moment to get used to, but after blinking a few times the Cadet peered out from behind the procession and studied the landscape - and lack thereof. "Kind of gross in here," he murmured to himself, looking over the multitude of tiny islands and the larger central land mass. In the middle of considering how they'd get everyone over to the center island, something appeared close by. Something hostile, apparently. Team really couldn't catch a break. Euden, Bowser and Jr. went to handle it, and Cadet unsheathed his sword and shield. Although he was much looking forward to getting to use the long sword, it wasn't very ideal in the relatively small area, so ol' tried and true it was. He didn't jump into battle, instead scanning the area again. Where there's one, there's probably more. That thing was dark, hard to see against the dismal sky that surrounded them on all sides, but... a shift of black on static purple drew the hunter's attention.

Another one of those creatures? Cadet could barely make it out from this distance, but it seemed to be the same kind of thing. This one didn't seem to notice them - until it did, and the red head could feel the thing turning to watch him as he watched it. Suddenly Cadet was watching it from way closer up. The creature appeared in front of him in a flash, and if he hadn't already been on the look out for enemies Cadet would have taken a swipe to his mid section. "Whoa!" When the creature's arm struck the metal of the Master Bang's shield, the hunter jumped backward and readied himself for another fight.

Ah, Calace was a character alright. Ames laughed and opened her arms, welcoming the short female avatar into them as she stalked over. "Okay, okay! At least you can actually walk. We'll bring everyone who wants to come." Amulak's... colorful word choice had the red head floundering for a few moments, but she recovered quickly enough. "Uh... thanks? I definitely wouldn't... do that." Then again, with this new make believe body she actually could, right? ...well, that wasn't a rabbit hole she wanted her thoughts to go down right now. She squeezed her eyes shut and when she opened them again, it was just in time to see Lew walk away.

"Oh, okay! West Gate..." she mumbled after the man, then turned back to their heavily accented friend to reassure him. "Don't worry, some of us aren't in a rush, so it's okay." Ames had to try very hard not to turn her eyes pointedly in Mags' direction with that last comment, especially after her vague - but very real - threat, but she succeeded.

After collecting Kriz's silver coins with a promise to return as soon as possible, Ames was pretty much ready to go - save for one thing. She looked over at the keystone again, studying the results it'd returned for her. Ascetic, kekkaishi... Those were pretty good classes... Right? Maybe? Ames smiled blankly at the screen the stone produced, sweat beginning to form at the base of her neck. What the fuck was an ascetic or a kekkaishi? What the hell was "Smartman" supposed to mean?? The only one listed that was even vaguely familiar to the red head was exorcist. That one also seemed the easiest to satisfy the requirements for. She committed the location names to memory and closed the screen, then helped Calace over to the rest of the group with a supporting arm as they ventured away from their spawn point for the first time.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. I've tried a handful of 1x1's here, and either they got dropped on me or I ended up dropping them (which, if I did a 1x1 with you and dropped it and you're reading this, sorry!). I was much more used to doing groups than 1x1, so it took me a while to figure out what worked and didn't work for me personally. Even if I loved someone's plot idea, there was always something not clicking for me. When I started a 1x1 with my current partner, I took on a GM-role where I play most of the cast of NPCs. It's so much fun! I think for me, someone needs to be mostly in control of the narrative: either myself as a GM or the other person.
I really miss some of my old partners from other sites, like the basically defunct LiveJournal. I tried to keep in contact with some of them, but it's hard to track down people from that long ago. One I managed to connect with again recently through Tumblr and Discord. The other I'm still waiting to hear back from, a friend from overseas and I very much hope they are okay since last I spoke with them.

Taras expected that「The Reaper」's user wouldn't go down so easily - because nothing came easy to their ragtag group of Allies, did it? From the very first meeting when they'd been forced to cram into a much too small plane, which was barely even two days ago, it'd just been trouble after trouble. So of course, Taras anticipated that taking out this enemy stand wouldn't be as simple as shooting it's user while Cakebread distracted the thing itself. What he didn't anticipate was his own bullets being redirected back at him. The Russian caught two rounds before he could get out of the projectiles' path, one grazing his broad shoulder and taking a chunk of flesh with it, the other ripping straight through his bicep.

"Bitch!" he snarled at the woman on stage. He had half a mind to raise his pistol and fire at her, but logic overcame his anger. If he did that, she'd just reflect the bullets again. Even more annoying, the sow was right: they should have focused on escape, especially now that Lilliane had blown a hole in the wall. As satisfying as taking out every stand user in the German force would be, in this situation they were outnumbered and surrounded. The best thing they could do was get out of the cafe and regroup - at least then they wouldn't have enemies on all sides of them. Taras swallowed a noise of frustration, turning his cold glare on the ugly Nazi puppets that were quickly advanced on them. Every stand had a poor excuse for a human being attached to it. Even though they were strange and identical, the wooden-like figures were still controlled by their users. Or...? an absurd thought flashed through Taras' mind, but he ignored it for now. Instead, he reloaded his weapon and without a word aimed it at the enemy closest to him, the one clearly looking for his own stand. Unfortunately for them,「Bad Case」wouldn't be making an appearance just yet. If they weren't going to make it easy for him, Taras certainly wasn't going to make it easy for them.

He fired, one shot to the soldier's heart and one to the head. Then he retreated back towards Lilliane and the hole in the wall as he continued firing at the identical legion of soldiers, intent on thinning them out through the most direct method. "Come, we should regroup," he called to the other agents, only then noticing that Yonaka and「Ritz」had moved even further away from them. Why? His brow furrowed. His eyes swept over the cafe. Ah, the patrons. Figures. These women were sentimental. Some might call Taras heartless, but frankly their team was much more important than the civilian diners... and wasn't it considered an honor to die for your country anyway? In Taras' humble opinion, they should let the patrons become martyrs while the rest of them escaped. I very much doubt the ladies would agree to that plan, he thought to himself. So, plan B.

"Agent, how difficult was making that hole in the wall?" Taras didn't look at Lilliane even as he questioned her, keeping his gaze firmly locked on the enemies in the cafe. When any had any wise ideas about moving towards them, he shot, even as blood splashed from his own wounds. "That is, could you do it again?"

With the final blow struck, the giant slumped over and released his hold on his weapon. Cadet quickly found himself falling onto his back now that there was no resistance from Gough. His scythe was still holding onto the wood of the Hawkeye's greatbow, and as he sat up he pulled both weapons towards himself. The bow was finely made, and though it was a weapon truly fit for a giant, it was only slightly larger than the bows Cadet himself was used to wielding. "Rad-alos," he said aloud, intent on taking the weapon with him. He added arrows to his mental list of things to make or buy, along with sonic bombs - those would have really helped out, but in the end they'd succeeded either way.

After a little difficulty stowing the bow and longsword on his person along with his sword and shield, Ace Cadet made his way over to the group. Personally, he wasn't too put out by Gough's parting words. Obviously if he wanted this outcome, then they all did a good thing. Better to focus on the positives after all, and to that effect he threw an arm on around Donnie and Blazermate.

"Woo, good job team! It's kind of nice getting all healed up in the middle of fighting," he laughed, "and the Koopa combo was pretty cool!"

Said Koopas moved over to the tower's edge, looking down over it. None of them turned into a trophy, nor was there any shouting or panicking to be heard from down below. The Cadet took that to mean the battle was over, and the ground team had taken care of the remaining sniper. Excellent news! When the tower team began to make their way back down with various methods Cadet was no exception. While it was very tempting to just leap off the tower's edge and take a tumble once hitting the ground, the hunter found his way down into the tower's interior for a more leisurely descent. As he'd thought, there were no longer any enemies on the inside of it. Once down the mountain, Cadet wasted no time regrouping with the rest of the squad. Seemed like most everyone was together, no one needed reviving, although... there was one extra person.

"So this is Linkle 2?" The red headed hunter looked the Hero of the Wilds over, crossing his arms in consideration. He supposed they looked similar, though the second Linkle didn't share her rabbit ears. Both of them looked pretty close to the other blonde Wyverian-like eared kids back in Lumbridge. He'd have to remember to ask what was going on with that. Some extended family? Wasn't really important at the moment, especially when they were preparing to go into the dark void.

"A maze huh? Well I'm pretty much good to go!" Cadet stretched his arms over his head and rolled his shoulders in a circle as if proving his point, not that anyone was contesting it. He figured it was better to get a move on, but if the group needed a break after that battle it would be understandable - and maybe he could even find some neat ingredients around.
Intriguing. I won't lie and say I have a ton of free time to participate, but I'd at least like to see this story get off the ground.
