It's so fun to make random OCs for an RP I will probably never run

Went to an fan convention yesterday after a three year break from them. I forgot how much I love seeing people's creativity, and how fun making even a simple costume is!

Hello! I'm Yankee.
I'm usually down for pretty much anything: action, adventure, romance, horror, taboo, comedy, smut, gore, slice-of-life, etc.
I like cute, fun stories just as much as dark, gross, traumatic (for character) stories. I enjoy creating original characters for RP,
but I get as much enjoyment writing as canon characters in fandom-based games!
On that note I like comic books, cartoons, and videogames. I'm also very into cosplay and art!

I am a very slow writer, so my preferred posting pace is once per week or less. I usually post on weekends.
I like to have fun while writing, so I prefer relaxed partners who don't take things too seriously.
Remember: fiction =/= reality.

Feel free to PM me to chat!
However I do not check PMs immediately. Might take me a day or two... or ten to get back to you.

Forward all complaints to @stone

and remember,

ft. brief appearances by Poppi and Fox

Primrose peeked out from her space, looking up at the welcome surprise that had stopped Band in place. Tora, Poppi, Kan-Ra... There were a few people missing. Primrose thought she saw Fox take a completely different route before they were first ambushed, but that still left Panther and Skull unaccounted for. Oh, and that swordsman too. Hadn't they all been together before she and Big Band were stuck behind the un-moving door? Primrose watched the three descend, and then followed Tora's circular path around her as he explained what they'd gone through up above. It certainly sounded disgusting.

Once they backed away from the ledge to give Big Band room, Primrose stepped near to Poppi to get one more piece of information that they'd left out of their story. "Where are the others?"

Poppi shook her head. "When trap go off, they trapped opposite Poppi and Masterpon. Last Poppi saw, they ran down hall after enemies on that side. Not see them since, sorry."

Primrose nodded, her expression thoughtful. This temple was like a maze with all of it's tricks, traps, and hidden passages. With luck, the missing members of their team would find their way here quickly, but it also might take them a while to navigate. At least they had each other. Eventually they'd regroup.

All of the present team members moved towards the sound of battle, and as expected they found Fox and Azwel in the thick of it. Their opponent was a fierce swordswoman, and it looked like she'd had the upper-hand until they arrived. Some interference from Band and a follow up from Azwel turned the tables, but the blonde retreated with a golden ring. With no signs of her reappeared, the Seekers and Grimleals convened.

Primrose's feelings on Azwel hadn't changed, he still came off as a creep. His words were making her skin crawl, so before her thoughts could show on her face Primrose turned away. She looked over to where Fox was picking himself up instead. Though just a short time ago Big Band has said not to worry about wasting her magic on healing him, she knew that not everyone - maybe not anyone - was built like him. If she could help keep everyone in top form, she still considered that the best course of action. The dancer approached Fox, conjuring the healing flame of Warmth.

"For your wounds. May I?" she asked.

He beheld for a second what he assumed by context to be a cauterizing flame, unaware of its true nature and unsurprised either way, before accepting its holder over with a quiet nod to do her work. Rather than a painful burn, when the fire touched his skin the only sensation was a gentle warmth that gradually healed his injuries. Once she was finished, Primrose stepped back looking satisfied. She was definitely getting the hang of healing now.

They moved on to another large, mostly empty room. Just how obstacles are there? Primrose thought to herself. Assuming these traps weren't an innate part of the temple, if the Resistance had set all this up they'd been frighteningly thorough. It all would have been an effective deterrent if the Yellow Team weren't on a mission, all of them intending to see it through. Primrose looked around the room and ran her hand over the patterns on the pillar closest to her.

"Earlier, Big Band and I made it out of a room by pressing an indentation... though something tells me it won't be quite as simple this time." She studied the objects in the room, trying to glean any insight from them about how this particular puzzle worked.
So I've been thinking about it, and even though MH is like one of my all time fav franchises for now I think I will just sit back and watch the story you all write. Perhaps in the future if there's still space I may jump in, but for now I'll just read along. Still, I appreciate that you would have taken my schedule into account!

Happy Hunting!

Well, Raime and Amulak made it through fine. They were out there talking with Lugh. Ames couldn't hear what they were saying, but the scout and necromancer were pretty animated with their words. Were they yelling at him or something? Chastising him? Lugh was just sitting there still, though at least he'd woken up. So he wasn't dead.

Ames crossed her arms. She glanced at Magpie for a moment before she looked back to the rest of their party.

"I tried messaging him in the game, but never responds!" she said. It was true, she had. Even before he went missing it was rare that he would reply, but since they'd embarked on this little quest she'd tried a couple times as they made their way to the caverns. It really did look like they were just chewing Lugh out though. Ames sighed and brought up her system menu, bringing up their party chat.

[Ames]: what are u guys doin?
[Ames]: whats he saying
[Ames]: whats goin on

Klein and Mags got to see Ames type out her messages before they got pinged with them. When Raime and Amulak didn't respond as quickly as she liked, she kept going.

[Ames]: did he find the kids?? or the snakegirls or any clues or what

"What'dya guys think, should we go over there too? They didn't get attacked yet or anything, it might be safe enough."
Oh! Before I forget, were the posting expectations discussed? I recall you said it can be talked about between all of us Light. Just wanted to check in on that because I'm more of a once a week person myself, and I wouldn't want to struggle with the pace and end up holding everyone else up. If everyone else leans towards a faster pace that is fine, just wanna know ahead of time!

Cadet and Nadia continued their work, moving even faster to keep Moreau in their area. The sound of metal on metal as they worked the cutters against the chains was beginning to grate on the Cadet. Because of their predicament, there was never any novelty to being turned into kids to begin with. Maybe in another situation it would have been kind of fun to see everyone like that. But now they were all tired, hungry, and stressed. His own stamina was so low it was a joke, and it couldn't keep up with his strength. Pressing his side of the metal cutters too hard made them fumble from their hands and drop into the drink.

"Agh, sorry," he sighed in frustration, "We'll find another way."

Unfortunately that other way wouldn't involve fishing, which while disappointing for the monster hunter, was overall safer for the kids. When Moreau crashed into the area Bowser had just vacated, the impact shook the entire area. That monster didn't even need to catch any of them, just smashing into them would be deadly. The Cadet held the railing tightly as the hanging platforms rocked back and forth. He looked down at the metal below their feet, and the chains that remained and kept the platforms suspended, judging Nadia's comment. He really hoped they were stable enough not to just fall and take them with it, especially after they'd spent so long up there already. He could see the worry in the Feral's eyes though, so once the platform's swaying slowed he pulled the kite Link had given him from his back and offered it to her.

"Here, it might slow your fall enough to make it back to solid ground. If you fall. Which you won't!"

After those very convincing words the Cadet nodded and agreed with Nadia's plan, seeing as they didn't have many other options. Most of the others that had joined them in the room retreated to the safer areas (or so the Cadet thought, unaware of the new danger in the Command Center). With just himself, Nadia, and the recently returned Link they'd have to keep the monster's attention anyway they could. Ace Cadet followed her lead. "Yeah, let's go!"

The rest of the skeletons were dispatched expertly. Primrose met Band's smile with a nod. After they made sure the last of their foes were gone for good and with the dust and spirits settling, Primrose and Big Band moved across the bridge. Both of them carried a sense of urgency, scooping up the spirits as they went, and though Primrose wanted to make the most of the buff she'd bestowed on Band she did take the time to summon that healing flame again.

"Here, hold still. This won't take much time," she said. She placed the healing fire of Warmth over what wounds he had. While they still had the option, it would be best to go into the next battle in top form. That said, the dancer didn't have infinite magic reserves. She would have to pick her spells carefully and use the most of her BP if she wanted her magic to continuing lasting through multiple battles. Once Band was healed she stepped up to the bridge's ledge. She looked between the landing and Band, and found that she agreed with his logic.

"I am not sure I would be able to catch you either, even with this scarf. So, just don't break it and fall." She sent Band a small grin before she leapt. She didn't hesitate at all, her new accessory carrying her over with little worry. Once she alighted she went right through the doorway to make way for her companion.
Can't believe I got tripped up by image linking again. Fixed that. Happy to hear you like it! And thanks for the info I will get to work on Persona section and send that over to you privately.
Killing me Bart. If only I didn't already put so much on my own plate! Still, looks fun so good luck!
And keep me in mind if there's an opening later down the road.
I'm thinking of going with a female Wyverian gunlance main, will be working on a sheet soon.
