Tamietta

The other hunters introduced themselves while the older woman gave Tamietta her soup. She gave a smile and a nod to her both to show that she'll most certainly enjoy it and that she's definitely gonna be asking for more. She started quietly but quickly devouring her food as Cyrus told them their temporary living conditions. She didn't quite mind the fact that the Guild Hall wasn't built yet because, as he pointed out, the group would be together. That'd be an excellent time to learn about her new brothers-in-arms outside of doing hunts. In the present time, Cyrus threw the quest paper over to Kazuki as she peered over to see what the quest entailed. Ioprey and Iodrome...she remembers hearing about them on her trips with her family, but never quite met one. Wonder what they're like?

Kazuki began to gave the group instructions on how to handle the hunt. Being told what to do isn't exactly pleasant, but his battle plan sounded fine for the most part. However, the idea of her not facing the Iodrome displeased her...greatly. She let him finish as it was rude to interrupt, but she zoned out for most of his instructions instead. It wasn't out of a lack of respect there, but more so that this was info she's well since known about. She had most of her tools already on her person as well. She had nothing to worry about outside of killing some Ioprey and facing this Iodrome. The name suggested that it was a "pack leader" sort of monster too...The Ioprey better be following it.

She took off the large leathery bag that had been on her back and started riffling through it to make sure everything was present. Potions, cool drinks, and a few herbs were in one section. Her nets and pickaxes were in their own separate sections as well, with a durable section being dedicated to flash bombs. She didn't know what this monster could do yet, but flash bombs were always helpful...blind a whole pack of them and start ripping into them before they can get out of their daze. She also took out her hunting knife for a moment to check how it looked. Just fine...same sharpness and edge as it always had. Perfect. She sheathed it back in and nodded towards Kazuki as he finished

"Tamietta: Make sure not to kill this Iodrome too fast, alright?" She said with her characteristic smile as she stretched.

She then made her way to a nearby changing room before waving to the others. "Tamietta: I'll be just a moment. I can't be hunting in something so fragile now." She said as she closed the door.
Do what you gotta do. Work irl comes first, I feel ya.

And yes...the THING, I say.
Someone in my area do the thing dang it
Tamietta

The crew that was currently gathered was rather small in terms of numbers. The first to greet was a woman named Clara who outstretched her hand. Immediately afterwards, however, another voice interjected, yelling at her that it was his job to accept people into the group, not her. Tamietta simply shrugged it off. He might be right, but that doesn't mean she'll agree. She firmly took the hand of the larger woman and shook it. "Tamietta: No worries. It is a pleasure to be here." She said with a smile to let her know that, at the very least, Tamietta didn't mind the greeting. Shortly after, the yelling man introduced himself at the previous hunter, Cyrus. Good. He probably would have a few good tips to hand out so listening up seemed like a good idea. He demanded the others sit put a moment and introduce themselves. No sense in opposing.

Placing her Hunting Horn down so it leaned on the table without getting in the way, she plopped down on one of the seats with a thud. It seemed an older woman was making a stew or soup. She hadn't eaten in quite some time so any would be welcome. "Tamietta: Miss, when that stew is done, I would most certainly want a bowl. Just looking at the steam, it looks great!" She announced over towards the chef with another smile. Turning back towards the group, she put her arms on her leg and looked at each of them. Now that she had a closer look at them, she could already tell they were taller than her. That's fine. She's used to that. So long as that heigh meant strength. Taking up on Cyrus's advice, she cleared her voice and decided to start.

"Tamietta: My name is Tamietta Nafay. It's a pleasure to make all over your acquaintaces. I hope your day is well." She said with a nod of her head and the characteristic warm smile she had plastered on her face. This time in particular it seemed small, but still somehow having a presence. A usual welcoming smile...but nothing wrong with usual.

Ezekiel "Ease" Evans

Ease followed Duncan down the stairs cause balcony jumping was...well, leg breaking usually. If you didn’t do it right. And Ease didn’t feel like doing it wrong. As they walked down to meet up with Avery, Duncan regaled him with the stories of his past 3 weeks adventuring. And by regale, he means told him how a familiar sounding woman basically went on a rampage. To be more exact, how she made divided a group of raiders by death rocks. Or subtracted. Take your pick. All Ease did was shrug though.“Ease: I would be more shocked, but dude. First time I met her, the woman started a fight with a guy just cause the guy might have said she was weaker than him. Fucking around is the last thing I’d assume she’d do.” Before he knew it, Duncan had gotten him a nice pint to drink from. Note to self, pay him back. And apparently talked about a map...Probably nothing important, but then again, Ease made a lot of assumptions 4 weeks ago. And nearly every single one got uprooted in what? 36 hours? Assumptions are dead to him.

The two exited to where Avery was and near immediately Ease took note of the most notable person-the girl from earlier who was pinned under a puppy. Not some large dog or wolf, but a puppy. And it just had to be the exact same girl from not even 20 minutes ago. He just closed his eyes and softly put his face in his hand “Ease: Of course it’s her because why wouldn’t it be?”

“Avery: Hey you’re Fease right?”

Ease just gave a deadpanned look at the girl before sighing. “Ease: Yeah, let's just go with Fease for now. If you say Feast or Lease next though, I’m flipping shit.” He really hoped that she caught on to the sarcasm. He really did. Though now that he had another look at the brown haired girl, she seemed even more familiar. Meanwhile Avery was trying to play coy as if she was actually lost on why a girl was trapped under a puppy. “Ease: Wow, someone must hang at the farm cause that’s bull shit.”

“Avery: And she’s from Earth as well. Isn’t that right Fease?”

“Ease: God dammit, I was kidding about the-Wait what?” Looking down at the girl one last time, he could practically hear the gears that were his memories click into place. First day everyone was here...The bar, the maid. Christ, she wasn’t kidding. They finally found her huh? That...was way easier than he would’ve thought. Aaaand he also walked right into her and didn’t even notice who she was….Time to mentally suppress and deny that fact. “Ease: Okay, first off the name is Ease. *turns to Duncan* Second off, she ain’t wrong. You know the Japanese maid we were trying to find the first day you got here? Aya I think? Well…” He pointed towards the Japanese girl formerly known as a maid. “Ease: Officially found.”

He walked over to where the girl was lying down and sat down not too far from her. “Ease: Sorry about the lack of tact here. First off, all 3 of us are from Earth. Considering Scooby Doo over there *points to Avery* kinda spoiled it already, no pointing in hiding it.” He pointed over to Duncan. “Ease: He’s the mountie.” Then to Avery. “Ease: She’s the puppy maker.” And finally to himself “Ease: And I’m the one with the glasses. Best ways to remember this.” He finally also kinda realized something pretty strange. She’s trapped...under a small puppy. What? “Ease: Um...you doing alright there?” He asked with an eyebrow raised.

Without missing a beat, another all too familiar face popped in as a certain swordsman drunkenly came over with a beer jug in his hand. His first instinct would usually be to tell the drunk to leave because they were having a two for one sale on ale nearby. You know, lie. But considering this was that penguin suit asshole...Really weird phrase to say there. Anyway, considering that this was the asshole from a few days back, he had far different words to say. Well, until he mentioned Earth. Then he remember that, oh yeah, this guy was transported here too. Shit. Hold off on any cursing or ass kickings for now.

"Ease: Okay, Mr. Sucks At Space, step back a bit alright? Your beer breathe is bothering the puppy and probably the girl." He stood up and pointed a bit further from where the swordsman was. Ease was just not having this shit today. "Ease: We have shit to talk about. You don't need to leave but sit further away, got it?" He said in a tone that made it obvious this wasn't up for debate. He knew that the guy was from Earth too so he couldn't have him wandering around drunk, but he was also, ya know, drunk.

Tamietta

A group of carts finished rolling into the village and finally all came to a halt. Inside, a notable amount of commotion could be heard going about, most notably noises of grown men laughing. It had be a loooong trip to get over to this volcano but it felt short due to the banter and merriment. In fact, it took a bit long for people to even notice they were at their destination until the driver knocked on the cart door to get them out of their fun time. Everyone inside murmured and joked as they each got off. Men with their wives, some with their buddies, but most notably, one singular woman who seemed rather out of place in the bunch. She was talking and smiling with the group so it was obvious that she had some sort of belonging with them. However, despite her dress and demeanor, there was one thing on her person that made it obvious what exactly they were talking and why they all got along so well. It was the large Hunting Horn strapped upon her back. Indeed, she was a hunter and, ironically enough, the only hunter from that cart.

Tamietta took in the view of this new village with plenty of awe. Despite her having gone overseas many times in the past, this time was largely different. For starters, she hadn’t gotten out of the village for a few years before now. More importantly, she was alone this time. No parents to keep on eye on her, no guardians, no brothers. Just her and her wits. The freshness of it felt so inspiring, but she needed to keep her eyes on the prize. In short time, she found none other than the Guild Hall of this village. Heaving her large bag up, making sure it didn’t tear on the Hunting Horn, she pried the doors open and took a quick look around. There seemed to be a group already here...Perfect. Without missing a beat, she said her first words in this new, but soon to be familiar, domain.

“Tamietta: So are you all my new hunting companions?”

She also didn’t realize she was probably interrupting but, oh well. You live and learn.
Name: Tamietta Nafay

Age: 26

Gender: Female

Height: 5’11’’

Appearance:

Tamietta has a curvaecous, yet built physique, with especially muscular yet smooth legs from her years of swimming. She is covered in numerous scars over her back and sides from her roughed up lifestyle. Most notably is 3 deep, large scars that take up practically the entirety of her outer left thigh and even a bit of her hip. She’s also mostly barefoot in her spare time and also wears a small medallion with her island’s crest on it when she’s not hunting. She does wear shoes when hunting, obviously.

Preferred weapon: Shielded Heavy Bowgun or Hunting Horn

Likes: Silence, the thrill of the hunt, unexpected results, simple living, a calming tea, swimming

Dislikes: judgement, people with no drive, pestering

Personality: Tamietta is a rather kindly woman. Despite being covered in scratches from her work, she has a rather calm demeanor about her and an almost motherly tone. Almost all who meet her describe her as a woman who seems to believe in the best of others, despite others thoughts. She tends to be rather upfront and honest as well. She is also a woman who firmly believes in the term “the world is your oyster” and doesn’t like to be told otherwise. While she isn’t the type to yell at others about independence, she’s rather persistent when she has her mind made up on something.

Despite her kindly nature, Tamietta is also one of the most bloodthirsty and focused hunters that most will ever see. As if to completely betray others ideas of what she’s like, she turns into an efficient shot and seems to be entirely focused on getting what she wants from the monster, whether it be a tail or its life. When out on the field, she’s always the first to run on ahead and track the monster down and even goes out of her way to make sure the hunt is complete.

Short backstory: Tamietta comes from a small tropical port village and is the daughter of one of its most prized hunters. Ever since she was young, she was taught the ways of the sea by her father and her brothers and was brought on many of their overseas trips. Those trips forged her more and more as she became more hardened and an amazing help with the hauls they brought in. However, there was one thrill she adored that only her eldest brothers knew of- hunting. She snuck away on their escapades and hunts and saw them take on large monster after monster. Before she was even 13, she was allowed to practice on the smaller monsters, such as Ludroth, under their supervision of course. However, the thrill of seeing them fight those larger monster never completely left her.

Years later, she decided to set out for her own career in hunting and started to train in hunting the more vicious monsters around the village. She moved on to Royal Ludroths(though only killing 3 thus far) and was surprising capable at fighting them, though with difficulties at first. Despite her still being a newbie, she is still an aspiring adventurer and a risk taker extraordinaire. It also seemed like a change of pace would be very welcome for her. Granted a volcanic village isn’t that much different from an island, it still seemed like a step in the right direction.
