Current I love my job, but I hate how it makes me feel at the end of the day.
I didn't make it to my appointment and the reason why is... rather bothersome to me
8 yrs ago
I'm finding that I am able to relax more now that I have you to talk to... but I'm also trying to be careful not to rely on you too much... I don't want to push you away
8 yrs ago
Who would have thought I'd be so stressed out I wouldn't be able to sleep? If my mind doesn't give out soon... my body sure as hell will.

I know its bad if you don't grieve properly... but being alone has stopped me from being able to react the way a normal human probably should. Don't compartmentalize people, you'll eventually explode.

Bio

Well... I was told this is a thing I should do... so here is the thing...

HI PEOPLE I'M ETERNALLY BORED:

Hi. I'm Zverda... formally Kokushi on this site! People call me Koku a lot... dunno why it just sorta started up one day and stuck.

- I'm 24 and I like playing in my age range. I prefer to stick with people who are 20+, mostly because I feel more comfortable doing any form of romance with people within that age group. If you are still a teen, I am sorry but I'm just not comfortable RPing with you just yet, nothing personal I assure you. However, if you are not looking for romance, I'm cool with RPing with you as long as you are not any younger than 18.

- I love posts that are decent in length. I won't go Nazi on you about your post length... though I will admit that if you can't give me at least 2 GOOD paragraphs, I will get bored... and fast. I give as good as I get, so please, if you do not want Crap do not give me Crap.

- I consider myself Mid to High Casual. I am not a grammar freak by any means, I just ask that you do not text talk... please have a basic understanding of the English Language, be it American English or British Language.

- I RP in PMs mostly, though I also favor Google Docs if you are looking at it to be more of a story setting rather than just a jumble of things.

- I prefer playing a female character though I do not lack the ability to play a male character, I am just relatively new to it.

What you can more or less expect from me:

On average I write anywhere from 2 to... however many Paragraphs that I feel like. If it is something I am enjoying and you are just as interested in what we are doing, I can easily knock out a few paragraphs, at least on a good day XP. Now I understand that everyone has off days, so if you are having any issues, please let me know and I will do my best to work with you ^.^

Also, I have a tendency of responding just about every day, sometimes I can only manage one a day if I am super busy (which isn't often to be honest), other times I go nuts. For the Next three weeks starting Monday Dec 21st I may be a little slow until Jan 11 as I will be visiting Family in New York, but I WILL respond, I promise you that!

What things do I like you ask?

- Action
- Progressive Character Development
- Fantasy
- Sci-fi
- Egyptian Mythology
- Greek/Roman Mythology

Stories that take place in either:

- Modern Day
- Medieval Times

Things I do not enjoy... in the least

- being the only one who pushes stuff forward, if you have a question about moving forward, all you need to do is ask. If you have an idea, please, use the OOC to bring it up to me.
- Damsels in distress so please do not expect me to play one.
- Ridiculously submissive characters... some submission is ok but try to have a backbone... and this is also something I will refuse to play, so don't ask.
- Insane amount of swearing. Now, I have the mouth of a Soldier so I understand swearing as much as the next person, but even I have a limit to what I will tolerate.
- I HATE SLICE OF LIFE!

My feeling on Romance in RPs:
I do not mind Romance in the least, however I will not make it the main premise of the story. It is perfectly fine as an addition, as in some cases it is completely normal for people traveling together to end up forming some form of bond with one another. I don't expect it to be instantaneous... I rather have it be something that forms gradually over time as it makes it more believable. If Romance isn't something you want to do, just let me know that you have no intentions towards that, trust me, it won't bother me in the least.

What to do with ideas:
I typically have ideas, just let me know what type of things you are looking for and we can always work on something together. If I already have a basic plot outline I will run it by you and if you like it, we can flush it out together and if you don't, then we can come up with something completely new. If you have things you want to do, or just basic ideas off of things I like to do, lemme know ok? Frankly, I hate making people think that I only wanna do what I wanna do, because that isn't true I assure you. The more ideas, the more fun things can be for either party.

While Hanani had remained silent during the entire exchange, mostly because he knew he would more than likely say something that would diminish Detta's attempt at befriending the creature, the fact that the assistance of a Troll would be great did not allude him. "I could Vanish you to give you a larger element of surprise," he offered to Sigurx, "It will last until you attack something, so it could allow you to get into the middle of them before exacting your own brand of revenge for what they have done to you."

While he waited for the Troll to answer him, he was met with a minor annoyed sound in his mind from Mercy who is simply not for helping the creature. However, he simply ignored her words of protest and brushed off her attempt to push her will against his, the attempt puny at most. "As much as I may not care, how do the rest of you feel about this idea? It will make his distraction far more effective," he told them, turning to his group of comrades. If they liked the idea it would only solidify his resolve to do as such, the Troll agreed to help them so he would at least give the Troll the best chance to act as a distraction to allow the group to get where they needed to go. While he simply viewed the creature as a tool, he knew the importance of ensuring the Tool was used to the fullest extent that it could be, this was the only spell that he could think of that would be useful to Sigurx.

"It is better to be feared than loved, if you cannot be both."

As the party left the city they were met by a rather large Tiger at the entrance, the creature prowling the sea floor while wearing what appeared to be an amulet and, oddly enough, a cloak. Upon spotting them the creature ceased all movements and simply stared, it's violet eyes sliding over the group before it before huffing and simply prowling a bit more. However, when Cynthia called it's attention once more it let out a far more annoyed growl and moved over, it's eyes hopping from person to person for a moment before they seemed to settle on the beholder of the group. While she did not move right away it was clear that there was an ounce of recognition in the all to animalistic gaze.

Extending out her claws a bit, the Tiger seemed to kneed the ground for a few moments before she ran at them. It was very clear that she was not able to communicate with them in any verbal manner, but that did not exactly matter as she seemed to shift into a blue finned female who darted straight for Dyn. The action was so fast the beholder did not have any time to react before he found himself locked in a hug with the violet eyed female. “FAR!” she shouted, clearly excited to see the many-eyed creature, “It’s been far too long, when did you get here? Why are you here? Who are they?”

Dyn soon found himself being hugged by what had once been a tiger, but now turned to a somewhat more recognisable shape. It had to be admitted, a tiger with purple eyes and the sigil in the shape of a star on its forehead had very much rang bells in his mind, but only now that she was hanging onto his material body, he could tell for sure. “Far too long indeed, Adrevz…” he muttered, a few of his tentacles finding their way against the merfolk woman’s back and joining the hugging gesture. “As for your questions I could well ask the same from you…”, he continued, the last sentence sounding distinctly like it was missing a word from the end. Dyn spun the syllables in his mouth, not really finding himself ready to pronounce them again after all these years. But eventually he would begrudgingly spit out the word he had nearly omitted: “...child.”

The fact that he seemed to hesitate with the last word greatly amused the woman, it was very like him to hold to his word even if he wasn’t exactly pleased with what he agreed to. “It turns out my studies as a druid eventually lead me here,” she replied with a small shrug while keeping the Beholder trapped in her embrace, “Learned some things about my people, managed to also learn some neat things as a druid even though I’m clearly underwater. I swear I need to learn how to grow gills or something while I’m a tiger, as pretty as the amulet is it is useless to me when I’m not in my wild shape.”

Taking a moment, she peeked around the floating tentacled mass to eyeball the rest of the group, but quickly went back to ignoring them. “Looks like you got yourself a lot of minions this time around,” she commented, “Some of them look kinda weird though.”

The bluish-purple ball of eyes and appendages in her grasp took his turn to speak: “You were brought here by your training, I was by the adventuring business. You know how we always stayed on the move”, he responded, not feeling like telling the whole story of what had led to them climbing the pillar. “But at the end of it, we entered this elemental plane through my magic”, he made a reference to that last point in time he really found important apart from their deal with the theullai, but that could be reserved for when they were further from the potential enemies of said creature. A single tentacle of his wormed its way onto Adre’s head, gently ruffling her hair about. She had liked that when she had been an actual child.

“As for that lot… you would not believe the amount of trouble. I don’t even know half of them yet… there’s been a fair bit of change in them lately”, he turned to whispering, trying to keep his opinions out of the ears of those who would stab him in the back if they heard them, “and that makes me uncomfortable. I cannot tell which I can trust since they. Keep. Changing.” He drew back his tentacles, hoping that would guide her to release him from her hold. “Nonetheless, we were hoping to see if you could join us on this journey to the Verdant stream”, he explained now with normal volume once again.

Heading his movement she released him from the hug and backed up a bit to take in the rest of the group. She was clearly not impressed by the way the group looked, her eyes scrutinizing every individual and drawing small conclusions against each person. The only one she didn’t have an immediate issue with was Jill, but the others just gave her a weird vibe. “Yeah, I can help you,” she responded, “You will have to fill me in on why exactly you are going to the Verdant Stream though, it’s not exactly safe.”

The Beholder made a nodding motion. “I shall……. Child. But not now. It is not for everyone to hear”, he shared with her before raising his volume. “Should we not be on the move now that we have our reinforcements?” he bellowed.

After a moment, Nemiea made a noise and shook her head before turning to Jill and Dyn, "I'm sorry but I can't do this," she told them, "There are certain mannerisms that I can not be around and I fear that I would eventually just lose it and try to do something I will later regret. With your leave Captain I would like to remain at the Inn and simply pass the time as I see fit. I was looking forward to partaking on this adventure with you, but I can just as easily work on earning money for the ship for any communal purchases you may need to make."

The Tabaxi then turned to Cynthia, a questioning look in her eyes, "I do hope you know someone who may be able to take my place in the mission that has been assigned to the crew," she told the woman, "My brand of persuasion is about as effective as a slug with the current people around and I fear that people would see through what I am doing because that seems to be the only thing the females I am around know to do. I apologize in advance for any issues my departure may cause, but I have faith in any connections you may have."

Without really waiting for an answer, other than Dyn telling her that he does not fault her for leaving, the young female simply turned and left towards the inn. Her tolerance had been pushed to its very frayed end and that was that. She would not keep company with individuals that would turn her capabilities into something useless, she rather just dance and earn money at the inn instead.

Nemiea was far from pleased about what had just occurred, her clawed flingers curled into her palms and mismatched eyes narrowed on the figure beside her captain. On top of that the Kobold seemed to be annoying her just as much, which was odd considering the Dragon Sorceress had a rather high tolerance for people. Maybe it was just because the being before them had done the very thing they should not have in trying to ask for allies? "I am pretty sure that is enough Koan," the feline hissed, reaching out and grabbing the other female by the back of her neck to pull her away from the Fallen, "Your lack of control is infuriating at best, at worst it makes me wish that it was ok to knock some bloody sense into that empty head of yours. You don't need to try to fuck everything that moves."

Once her grasp firmed up a bit she yanked rather hard on Koan, mostly towards the ground. While she had no want to harm the female, she also did not want to see someone trying to jump the bones of someone they had just met, it was almost like Koan didn't understand what danger was, or did not care. You should never invite someone to your bed until you know they won't slit your throat while you sleep. "Some self control would be nice, Jill I wish you would push the need for self control more," she nearly growled, gods she felt like Dyn right now.

While it was true that she had remained mostly silent during their walk, not really bothering to help much as it seemed Jill and Dyn had it taken care of, she did feel the need to study the newcomer.... without a presumably constantly horny Koan in the way. "The name is Nemiea," she told the Fallen Aasimar, "And as long as you don't pull a stunt like that again I am pleased to have another, hopefully more sane, ally to work with."

Hanani did not say much when the man answered his comrades questions, in fact, he remained completely silent and left to go purchase a couple things right after the man had finished speaking. The information they had gathered was plenty and his knowledge of trolls was well enough that if they did run into one he knew to simply use his fire spells to help dispatch the beast before moving on to better things. Once his potions were bought he met up with the others so they could begin their 'adventure', hoping to simply get it over with as he wasn't all that interested in much else, unless something proved to be of interest as they traveled. Before their rest of the first night he spent some time simply talking to Mercy, amusing himself with the small banter until he was forced to get the rest his body decided to force upon him.

The following day he was just as quiet as before, content with simply listening to the others and only speaking when spoken to if it could not be avoided. When they came across the cave systems, he simply squinted his eyes and took a look inside, figuring the others would look at the prints as he was more interested in what could potentially be inside... which seemed to be nothing, at least not at the moment. "The cave system seems to be relatively silent and made of limestone," he told the others, probably the most he has said in some time in a collective sentence, "Nothing sounds out of the normal nor does it seem dangerous at the moment, but that isn't to say that we won't have some troubles later on if we don't go through quickly."

With that said, he simply pulled Mercy from her sheath and held her in an almost lazy, but natural, manner. When the Paladin asked for the other's opinions Hanani remained silent. He didn't much care about the tracks and he didn't glean much from them regardless, so he felt he did not really have anything to add to the conversation in those regards. "Oh come on, it can't hurt to share some of the information you get even if it isn't-"

"Shush, it is nothing important and the Paladin gleaned about as much as I did," Hanani growled at the sword mentally, his face showing his displeasure.

Hanani looked down at the symbol that the man had provided to them, a frown on his face as he studied the object that held the mark that would allow he and his companions to know when they had reached the entrance they would need to catch those inside by surprise. "Leave it to men to not know a lick about the inside of a keep they are meant to liberate, or have us liberate," he thought crossly, a soft hum of agreement sounding in his mind as his blade, Mercy, made her agreement with his thoughts quite clear. The response from her made his face contort into a mildly amused expression, it was always pleasant when she agreed with him and rather unpleasant when she did not, which happened often with the company of the Paladin around. There was just something about her that Mercy was not fond of, she claimed it had something to do with the female dwarfs moral alignment and often begged Hanani to allow her a taste of the woman's blood, of which he always refused.

"Don't be such a spoil sport," she said to him, catching his inner line of thought, though rather vaguely, "She is just entirely too good for my liking, no one can be that good I mean, come on." This elicited a snort from the Magus, something that his companions should be used to by now even though he had only been conversing with the blade recently. Before it had seemed like such a normal weapon, albeit the color of the blade being rather odd, but when he had reached a certain point in their prior job together she had started to talk and thus earned herself a proper name.

"Nothing really interesting or tell tale about this symbol, it doesn't seem to be magical in the least," he told Mercy, temporarily forgetting that he should be telling his companions the same thing. That was the thing about Hanani, he had spent most of his life wandering the forests alone, learning all he could without help or companionship for the better part of his life. When he was asked to join the Pathfinder Society he nearly refused, finding the company of other's to be an annoyance and completely unnecessary, but they eventually got him to agree. At first he remained silent for a majority of the time, not really talking to anyone and when he did he was fully aware of how rude he was being and didn't very much care that he was. He saw them as lower than himself, less intelligent until they proved their worth to him, now he tries his best not to be as much of a dick, though sometimes he failed.

"Right... so... nothing inherently magic about this symbol it seems," he finally said after a not so gentle reminder from Mercy to share his thoughts on the matter, "Then again, it's not like this drawing is an exact replica... doubt he cared much to ensure that it was as long as it was close enough to let us know where to sneak in." There it was, was only a matter of time before he said something that could be considered rude by most, not that he really cared much about that. Didn't really matter if people got mad at him for stating simple facts, he was right and that was that, do with it what you will.

"Ever the charmer my dear Hanani," Mercy said to him, earning a rather twisted look of annoyance in reply, not that the sheathed blade at his side could see it... everyone else could.

So right now I have a lvl 10 Inquisitor who is bent more towards torture methods, I can easily shift things around depending on the starting lvl and potentially useful cross classing but here is her mostly completed sheet.
