Wow, fourteen days in a slow-going RP. She must have been missing for years! thought Ebil.
"Before this goes any farther may I know your names please?" asked Books.
"Ebil Bunny." Ebil replied. It was kind of weird to have that name. If he had known that he was going to be trapped in the RPG, he would have chosen a less ridiculous name.

The ground blinked again.
"Guys, we should go!" Ebil exclaimed, almost panicking.

“Good morning to you, too.” Rose mouthed mockingly, irritated for some reason. She just wanted to go home. She'd only been here a few days and already she was done with this stupid game. She didn't really care anymore, she couldn't seem to make herself. She leaned back against the couch, pouting a bit as GM spoke to Euclid and then to Leon and herself.

Rin?

She raised a brow, turning her head to look at him again. "You mean the dog? I'm not even sure. I don't remember." She replied, turning back to look out the sliding glass door. She took in a deep breath and let it out slowly. "By the way... Why can't you kill us? I mean, clearly you're able. So why not? What are you waiting for?" She asked. She pulled her legs up onto the couch and got herself comfortable. She might as well enjoy it while she had it, life that is.

As they decelerated, Bellua opened his eyes. He could hear Rae next to him. "Is it over?" she asked. He had no idea why she clung to his arm mere moments before, shrugging off the act and deeming it a fit of nervousness. No matter the reason, he didn't care. Rising to his feet, he took his first step onto the Academy's grounds, the feeling of concrete a little coarse against his bare feet. Taking a little survey of his surrounding, he inhaled largely, trying to catch a scent. Then, it hit him. His target was here. Somewhere within the area, his creator was hiding, and they were scared, but the reason for their fear was something he couldn't ascertain.

"He's here," spoke the demon, exhaling sharply. "I'm unsure as to where exactly he could have gone, though. His scent is all over, like he's covered a large area." He inhaled again, catching quite a few new scents as well. "More. Several more are here. Some aren't so close."

Bellua started walking, eyes set on the large castle-like building in front of him. Now began the real hunt. There was just a certain distance between himself and his goal, and no one would stand in the way.

Bellua started talking, "He's here,I'm unsure as to where exactly he could have gone, though. His scent is all over, like he's covered a large area."
Rae forced herself to her feet, catching a glance of the very long distance to the ground, her nauseous increased a little and she hurried forward, staying close to Bellua.
"what do this person look like?" Rae asked, looking around "maybe i'll spot him before you do"

the place was eerily quiet.
she stepped as quietly as she could, the place kind of looked like it would eat her if she stepped out of line.
"i'm getting a bad feeling, Bellua" she said "i don't know why"
she instinctively got closer to him, almost reached out but pulled her hand back, clasping them together over her chest.

Unlike Rose, Leon's memory of their run-in with Rin was still quite vivid; something that tends to happen when you get hurt. "We simply stabbed it," he answered GM's question, unvoluntarily looking at his arm. "Or rather, Rose did. The beast then dropped to the ground, allowing me to hit it with the bag I was carrying. I guess that cracked its skull or something; the bag was quite heavy, and all the adrenalin helped a lot too." That, and Rin looked like it would've keeled over from starvation soon anyway, regardless of whether we did anything or not.
Looking around, Leon was somewhat surprised by the other's reactions; Rose, for one, acted a lot more assertive than he had expected. Euclid, meanwhile, seemed to be almost in a state of shock. Strange; he had expeced these roles to be reversed.
Rose did raise an important question though; why hadn't GM simply killed them? He could've easily murdered them in their sleep. The fact that he did not do so could only mean that he had no interest in it, right? All Leon could do was hope. Any minute he'd stay alive would be a minute in which he could think of something else to do. In the meantime, he would simply try to avoid getting murdered, no matter what it would take...

Bellua felt nothing but rage and contempt. Fear was far from his mind at this point. There was nothing he feared on this plant. The darkest corners of the Void served to quell whatever fears he had before. It was an area seldom traveled, as well it should remain. Here, the most he could fear was going back to the Void, something he'd fight tooth and nail to prevent. Placing a hand against the large door that now lay in front of him, he gave a push and watched it give way to the Academy's interior. Turning back to Rae, he spoke. "Fear is nothing but a pestering emotion that beckons the lack of knowledge. Disregard it, and you become fearless."

He pushed the door open wider and stepped inside, gazing around the large hall inside. He stilled his breaths in order to achieve a stronger silence, straining to hear any disruptions in the area that was void of noise. Nothing yet, he thought, walking further into the hall. Time to hunt.

The demon knelt down to feel the cool stone of which the floor was composed, running fingers over its smooth surface and only stopping when he found an anomaly in the otherwise level surface. Traces of debris. Footsteps, seeming to extend in several directions. There were a few people in this room; how long ago was left to be determined.

GM narrowed his eyes at Rose as he listened to her remark, a grin slowly spreading across his face as he finished. “Well, if you must know, even mass murder gets boring after a while. That’s why I don’t kill people the way I used to; it’s no fun if you don’t get the chance to play games with them, see how well they do or how far they get…” he explained, slowly inching closer to Rose. “But, if you insist!” Almost instantaneously, a shimmering katana appeared in his hand, wisps of violet flame reflecting off its deadly blade as he swung the weapon through the air, leaving it positioned in the air parallel to the girl’s body, only an inch or two above her chest. “Ahhhhh I missed this katana! Haven’t used it in forever!” he paused, sadistic happiness filling his eyes. “Sometimes when you get so used to creating and destroying matter and energy with your mind, you forget how great it feels to hold a good-old-fashioned bladed weapon!” he exclaimed.

“Anyway, there’s really nothing stopping me from killing any one of you any time I wanted.” He told spoke cruelly, looking down at Rose. “Well, except for Euclid, cuz I made a deal saying someone else could kill him, assuming the kid survived long enough for the two of them to meet. But as for this guy – actually…” he turned and pointed his left hand at Leon, but cut himself off, his train of thought seeming to turn onto a different track. He thought back to what Leon said about Rin just before he’d whipped the sword out at Rose. “On second thought, I could get a lot of use out of you. You could be a big help with monster design and performance analysis.” GM grinned, a playful and almost innocent smile taking over his face for just a moment, before his eyes locked back onto Rose. “But as for you,” he seethed, psychotic thrill consuming his expression yet again. “There’s nothing stopping me from killing you,” he chimed, the katana slowly inching towards her throat. “So if you’re that eager to die, then I assure you, it can easily be arranged!”

Muse’s eyes widened when Books claimed she’d been in the Guild for four weeks, not sure if he still had any concept of how long that was. She couldn’t have possibly been there so long, if a week meant as much time as he recalled. Though, if she had been surviving in the Guild for so long, it would at least explain her strained appearance and thin body. He laughed nervously when Books explained how she’d counted the days. “Well, in a place like this, that’s not the most accurate timekeeping.” he ran his fingers through his black hair as he glanced awkwardly to the side. “The time of day is probably one of the most fickle things about time in this place. I swear, it’s like the sun moves halfway across the sky in the time it takes for me to walk halfway across this room.” Still, even if her remark wasn’t the most accurate, she’d no doubt been struggling to survive in the Guild for quite a while. Was the situation getting worse? “At any rate, call me Muse.” He told her. “I’m here to protect you guys, but, I guess I’m not doing the best job…” he glanced to the side again.

His sense of danger returned when the ground beneath them flickered into void once again, Ebil urging them to go. “Shit, you’re right!” he exclaimed, instinctively sprouting huge black wings from his back, a second away from taking off before he realized the dilemma before him. “Augh, wait, I’m gonna have to get a lot bigger in order to carry the three of… you…” he trailed off, eyes darting about the room in a bit of a panic as he realized what was happening. He looked back at the two roleplayers with him. “Does anyone know where Nautilus went?”

“Does anyone know where Nautilus went?” asked Muse. Ebil's eyes widened and he looked around the room.
"You mean we lost him too!?" he asked. People were disappearing all over the place! Maybe the RP was killing everyone off. Any one of them could be next.
"Maybe the fact that the RP is dying is killing everyone!" He closed his eyes for a second. Feathers grew on his arms and legs, and he shrank until he was about a foot tall. He had changed, again, into an eagle. He squawked, but of course, nobody could understand him.

Callum's eyes opened with a bit of a jolt. "Ugh...I fell asleep, Uh sorry-" Callum looked around and saw no one, "guys......" Callum soon came to the realization that is company had left him. "Huh, Well..." Maybe he was glad that Bellua had left, but then again. He was now alone, in the middle of no where...again. Callum looked up to the place Bellua was going to. He said that he would find his creator there. Callum came to the conclusion if there was more humans like the one he met just before he fell asleep, it wa going to be there. But the real question was how to get there. If he could of been awake to know the them two got up there. If they even were.

"Fear is nothing but a pestering emotion that beckons the lack of knowledge. Disregard it, and you become fearless." Bellua's words did calm her a little, but not much. she stopped moving and looked around carefully, her glasses showing her the contours of the room. she thought she might see some doors but she wasn't sure and Bellua appeared preoccupied. it was kind of dark so she pulled up her purse, which she was very happy to have, and searched for something to give her some light.
after a minute or so of silent searching she found her lighter, looking around carefully she flicked the lighter on and searched the area wavering illuminated around her, she crouched to see that there were footprints in the dust and they weren't hers, they led her to a door, she stopped then turned "Bellua? i found some footprints leading to this door, should i check it out?"

"...I made a deal saying someone else could kill him..." The words seemed to echo eternally and instead of building the fear inside of Euclid, it more so extinguished it. He was a quiet person and usually kept to himself, staying away from most interactions and, as a result, out of trouble that could have been caused from arguments or the like. At the most, he could annoy someone, but cause someone to want to kill them? A look of concern crossed over his face and he forced himself to stand up, eyes focused on GM. It beckoned an answer from this sadistic bastard.

"Hey," he said, disregarding the current subject at hand. "You just said you couldn't kill me because someone else was going to. Who is that someone?"
Bellua turned to Rae, rising to his feet and walking to her. She said something about a set of footprints leading to a door and was wondering if she should check it out. "No sense in going alone," he proposed. "Lead the way. This is your discovery." He didn't mind playing follower for a little bit. It gave him a little more to plan out his killing. He could tell Rae was a little fearful; whether of he or of the current location, he believed it didn't matter.

Bellua walked over to Rae, saying "No sense in going alone,"
he then said "Lead the way. This is your discovery." Rae blinked then nodded. she turned back to the door and carefully pushed it open, her lighter only illuminated a little ways in front of her so she couldn't see anything except that they were in a hallway, she looked back at Bellua again then steeled herself and walked through the door, keeping her eyes on the floor, walking just to the side of a pair of dusty footprints that just kept heading down the hallway.
everything was silent as she walked until a sudden strong breeze blew quickly through the hall and put out her lighter, for a second she panicked, but then she could barely make out Bellua behind her and she calmed down a little, she wasn't sure why the sight of the big scary man calmed her back it did nonetheless. she took a deep breath a flicked her lighter back on "that was weird, there shouldn't be strong breezes inside a building, should we keep going?"
sudden;y the ground beneath them seemed to flicker and she fell over, catching herself on the wall "what just happened?"

Rose glanced up at GM, her heart beat quickening. Okay, yeah. A lot of talk and here I am, a katana held toward me. She took a shuddering breath and watched GM as he talked to everyone else. She was the only one he could easily kill?

It's not like I'm worth much anyway. I can't find a decent skill I have that would be of use to him. Not that I want to be of use to him.

She glanced back at Leon, her eyes narrowed. The way he spoke to GM so easily made her angry. Eventually, the idiot would realize GM would just use him as long as he was useful. She closed her eyes and turned away from Leon, not wanting to deal with it anymore. She wouldn't try to help him anymore either as he likely wouldn't for her. No, she felt he'd more likely throw her under the bus to save his own skin.

She took in another deep shuddering breath and glared up at GM. "If I'm going to die, it's going to be my choice. So, I give you permission. Go ahead." She spoke, her voice strong, her heart shaking like mad. If she made them feel like she was strong, she'd tricked them pretty well. She could feel her hands shaking, her palms were sweaty.

Never thought I'd die to the hand of a madman with a katana. Then again, this is probably just a weird dream. I'll wake up right before I 'die'.

Books looked around for the last man who had been with them. Her blue eyes were wide with fear. She looked down at the eagle Ebil. "I can't do anything like that but I can run pretty fast." She said looking up at Muse. Her eyes were filled with her fear and terror that she felt but her face was calm. Determined even, not to die here. Not when she still had so much to live for.

Bellua watched the ground illuminate beneath Rae's feet as she fell over. Instinctively, he moved to catch her. There was no sense in her getting hurt this early, especially if he needed her to serve a distraction if he was somehow wounded during the hunt. Moving her back to her feet, he heard her ask what that was. The demon didn't know himself, but the chances were that the Academy had been fitted with some sort of system; security-based or otherwise, he didn't really know. However, he assumed that they would have to be on guard for things like this in the future. If not, either one of them could die, and he couldn't let that happen; not until his goal was fulfilled.

Sniffing the air, he caught a familiar scent. One of the people here has been somewhere in this room, he thought. It was too dark to see what this room was, so he started to carefully walk about, running a hand along the walls in the hopes of finding a switch. "We need light," he said. "A clue as to the whereabouts of my creator might be here, and I do not want to waste any more time than that which has been spent."

The moment Leon saw GM's face change, he knew that this was going completely wrong. The man, for lack of a better term, was going in that weird state floating between acting normal and being ax crazy. Regardless of this, Leon was still shocked when GM suddenly pulled a katana out of thin air, then swong the deadly weapon at Rose at blinding speed. Leon couldn't help but flinch and close his eyes, not wanting to see the obvious outcome. It was not until a few seconds after GM spoke up again that he slowly opened his eyes. And this would be why you don't want to piss off a psychotic murderer with god-like powers, Rose. Silently, he watched as the scene unfolded before his eyes. Even now, so obviously threatened by death, Rose refused to give up. It made him feel sick about himself, about how easily he caved in. Yet at the same time, he really wanted the girl to stop taunting GM into an even deeper rage.
He had heard what he had wanted to hear. GM wasn't planning on killing him right now. He had managed to make himself useful, buying him a little bit of extra time. But... at what cost? He couldn't just let Rose get killed in order to save his own skin, right? Plus, what guarantee did he have that GM wouldn't just kill him afterwards? Something about the words he had used seemed a bit off...
The obvious contrast in emotions caused his face to be contorted. What should he do? What could he do? What force could possibly stop this being?

What was he thinking?!
.
.
.
"NO!," Leon yelled. "I- I can't- No-" Torn between wanting to save his own hide and not being able to just let people get murdered in cold blood in the process, the young man found it hard to find the right words, instead being reduced to just muttering in a broken voice and shaking all over. "Stop it, please. I'll do whatever you want. Just please, don't kill her..." Meanwhile, he let out a mental scream, praying for anyone to help them.

Kole sat there wondering where the heck he was. He wasn’t at home, the dry rolling grass made him certain of that, and he wasn’t anywhere he had been before which would mean that getting home would be a bit more difficult. With a grunt and groan Kole pushed himself up off the floor, brushing off the bits of dirt that clung to his black trousers. What a wonderful time to be in his smart attire, though Kole was glad that he was still wearing his smart black shoes. He could feel blind panic trying to jab away at his mind but Kole kept it under control. Blind panic would not help him at all in this situation and he’d need to keep his head straight in order to work out where he was and how he got here.

“Let’s see.” He muttered to himself, looking around slowly to get his bearings taking not of the large rock to one side. “I was at home getting ready for my mum’s par…” The sentence died in his throat.

Koles eyes widened in awe. Sitting high above him in the sky, completely unaided, was an island carrying a large castle of some sort lazily upon its back. For maybe a minute or a bit longer Kole stood there transfixed by the sight of this floating construct before his mind started working again. He had to get a picture of this. He didn’t know why this was the first thought to pop into his head, shock most likely, but it was something. Digging his hand into his pocket Kole brought out his phone and pushed the button that would bring he screen to life.

“What?” Kole blinked and frowned at the screen as all that it displayed was a black background with huge white letters saying ‘NO’. Not even the buttons to input the password appeared. “What?” He repeated again in confusion.

Bellua didn't answer her, at that point Rae realized he was holding her, she blushed, as he helped her back to her feet.
Bellua turned to look around the room "We need light," he said. "A clue as to the whereabouts of my creator might be here, and I do not want to waste any more time than that which has been spent."
Rae nodded and quickly flicked her lighter back on, looking around, "why is this place so dark?" she walked towards Bellua the light casting a small circle of light around her., she admitted in her mind it was a pitiful light source, but she wasn't sure if she had anything else, her free hand moved to her bag, and she looked down to see if could find anything.
...
nothing. she looked back at Bellua, he was running his hands along the walls, looking for a switch. she moved to a different wall and started searching herself for one.

GM was too distracted to answer Euclid immediately, instead remaining focused on Rose. His eyes widened a bit when Rose so easily accepted her fate, not used to such a response in the face of Death. He hadn’t the slightest clue whether her act was one of bravery or sheer stupidity, but he brushed the thought aside, his grin reclaiming its place on his expression. “Well then,” he spoke. “Far be it from me to deny you such a request!” He drew back his sword, preparing for a powerful slice, but stopped himself when he heard Leon’s protest. Ordinarily, he would’ve taken it as any other man pleading for his life – but he wasn’t pleading for his own life. Oh no, it was Rose he wanted to keep alive. The words echoed in his head, “don’t kill her”, and for a moment he seemed lost, struck by a powerful sense of deja-vu as he looked between the two faces. Then, a new, almost empty-looking smile covered his face, growing wider and giddier as Leon’s mental scream rang in his ears. Lowering his sword, he turned back to Leon.

“Sure, whatever you want, Ara- I mean, roleplayer.” He spoke, still wearing the same deranged grin. “I mean, you could serve as a very nice replacement for someone I once worked with… if that seems like a fair trade to you.” The sword disappeared. “Granted, it won’t be quite as satisfying as the first time, not as mysterious or secretive, but it’ll still do! The Guild’s bigger than my old place, you know? And I feel like I need more people working under me this time. Ah! Which reminds me!” He spun around to face Euclid. “That deal I mentioned? That’s what it took the guy to be my little servant. I promised he could run around in the Guild world, free as a bird, and hunt you down and kill you.” He grinned giddily, sharing information like a gossiping teenage girl. “He wasn’t a roleplayer like you guys, though. No – in fact I got the idea after I dragged you here and couldn’t help but notice the connection. As for this monster’s name, he called himself – or, no, I suppose more accurately you decided to call him Bellua.” He paused after saying the name, eagerly waiting for the fear to cross Euclid’s face. “Sound familiar to you? I don’t know how important of a character he was to you, or how long you spent on him. Must not’ve spent very much time on the name, though, since it sounds more like something a Disney princess would have, imho~”
