Maiko saw the Konoha ninja bring a girl to the Hokage and he knew that they had captured a Jinchūriki, he recognized her from the meeting. this meant that their mission was discovered and he was sure that if he didn't do something, the girl would most definitely be executed.

just then he heard Seranai come from behind him, "Maiko... They got a Jinchūriki... What do we do?"

he looked at her and replied, "the only way to save her is to break our cover and I am sure that they know about her and the rest of us spying so I say we fight, are you ready? because i have a plan."

Maiko knew she was new to being a Jinchūriki which was why his plan would have her do the easy part and he would do the hard part. he hoped that she would be up for it.

Kai was thinking of what life in Kumo would be like when he heard a voice call out saying that one of the Jinchūriki that had come to the village from the republic had been caught. Kai winced for a moment as he thought of what would happen to whoever it was.

No...Konoha will not hurt anyone the way I was hurt. If we don't do something whoever it is will be tortured and most likely killed. That's not going to happen on my watch

He looked at the woman and sighed heavily. "I refuse to let one of my fellow Jinchūriki be killed by the hokage or whoever else plans to do it. I'm going to try my best to rescue whoever it was who was captured. If you want to see me in action than feel free to follow, but I will understand if you want to lay low for a short time."

Kai concentrated for a moment.as he tried to locate his fellow Jinchūriki by their tailed beasts. Gyuki. I need to ask you a favor. I need you to tell the other tailed beasts and their hosts to try and lay low for now. I'm going to try and rescue whoever it was.

Gladly. I've been extracted from someone once before, I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Kai turned to look at Anko and smiled sadly. "I'm sorry, but I can't let one of them be tortured. But if I get out of this alive...tell your Raikage that I accept his offer."

Kai took a deep breath and jumped up into one of the trees before jumping for a tree onto the roof of one of the many buildings. He jumped from building to building trying to locate the captured Jinchūriki.

Yuuto heard the calls from the centre of town and realizing that things were suddenly about to explode - if tensions between the republic and konoha were a powder keg, the fuse was just lit. Unless someone stamped out the fire now, things were about to explode. Only taking a moment to marvel at her chakra bird creation, he immediately jumped onto the bird.

"If things go bad," he said to Tesla as they took off and were in the sky, "Then their cover is not the only thing that's about to be blown. Nevermind the witch hunt that might be happening below, this might just be the final straw that ignites the war."

Being in the air, he looked down for a bird's eye view of the village and subsequently saw the jinchuuriki in question. Even from his height, he could tell that she wasn't as tall as the men guarding her, barely 15 at best. Her? A host? She was just a child, and the Hokage planned to execute her?

Oda Uchiha
Oda came bursting into the ANBU HQ. "All ANBU present report here NOW!" he said with fierce anger. Suddenly the enitre building became alive and ANBU came to him and bowed. "No time for bowing for God's sake the Republic has made their move, Where's Ria?" He asked looking around suddenly getting pissed. "Ugh, Three of you quickly come with me back to my office so we may start the Public Extraction, the rest of you scout Konoha and the surrounding area for any suspicious ninja or samurai. If you must kill on sight, unless a sensory nin that will accompany each section says there is a Jinchuuriki, then only capture and bring them to me. GO!" He yelled suddenly they all sprinted and flew away. Oda and his three ANBU ran back to the office. The Hokage picks up Shira and the proceed to head to the center of Konoha for everyone to see to extraction and seal of the 7-tails from Body to Jar. The ANBU are positioned to defend most attacks against the Hokage, although he is not afraid to drop her like a rock... At this point his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan has been activated.

Shira Aburame
"Shira please wake up, we are in grave danger everything you worked for will all be lost... please wake up!" Chomei tried yelling to Shira but not budging. However, the bugs that had hibernated under her skin are starting to wake up.

Ryou blinked. He was pretty sure the last thing he remembered was... carrying the rods. And then..? Then exhaustion had taken over or something. But, as Ryou eyes fluttered open, he couldn't help but identify the feeling with taking cold medicine- only worse. Poison. That was so shameful. For crying-out-loud, he should be able to stop something as ridiculous as being knocked out! He definitely wasn't going to tell his grandparents. They'd look at him with such pity. What kind of Hozuki doesn't recognize poison and do something to counteract it? He'd totally be lucky if his grandmother only cut off a limb-or-two off all his zombies.

Zombie. Zombie... Ryou felt like a zombie, but by the air escaping his lungs, he was really starting to doubt it. Wait, pain. Yeah, Ryou was fried. Fried like all that delicious, crispy fish he had eaten an unknown amount of time ago. "Ow," He mumbled, the words coming out slightly hallow. After a few minutes, he was able to focus on Kii. "Ow, Kii." Ryou stressed, wanting Kii to understand just how much ouch he was in. Despite the fact his friend had literally blasted him through a wall, Ryou tried reaching out to Kii. "Shira-chan, Kii. I..." He was a bad babysitter. If he had been more focused, if he... " 'Orry."

Focus. Ryou had to focus on his chakra. Taking a deep breath, Ryou's body started to liquidify. And, although this wasn't helping one-hundred percent and his concentration was sub-par at the moment, this slightly helped. "Taiho, Kii is still your friend. We aren't here to hurt anyone. Just... just..." Focus, focus. Kii was too emotional; he'd get them killed. "If you like turned into a zombie, Kii cares so much he'd probably feed you his own brain." That couldn't really be blamed on the poison; it was pretty much the way Ryou's mind worked. "So... because Kii is the zombie and you don't want to feed him any brains, you should just turn your head away and let him zombie walk his way out of here."

Kai finally stopped jumping as he caught sight of the hokage standing over someone who he recognized from the meeting earlier that week. And the jar. He could feel Gyuki's anger at the thought of one of his fellow Bijuu being extracted and Gyuki could feel Kai's anger at the thought of the host being killed by the extraction.

If we do anything it needs to be now. Gyuki said quietly in his mind.

Kai could see ANBU guarding the hokage. And it looked like something was wrong with the Hokage's eyes. He had heard rumors that the Hokage had a powerful ability but at this point he didn't really care.

"Oda...Today is the day that he dies." Kai vowed as he watched carefully for any break in the defenses around the hokage.

After the training, Kota began to breath heavily, then slowly....a smile formed on his face. He stood up, drinking the tea that Ria had given to him. "If I can keep this up...I can stop the war between Konoha and the Republic....I know I can...!" Finally, his dreams were coming true. After all this time of training and improving his skills, he was finally going to be able to do it. After finishing his tea, he walked through the village and then outside of it, whistling with his hands behind his back. "I wonder how Aiko-Chan is doing..." He began to think to himself quietly. After that, he blushed for a bit, then smiled. It was during this time that he felt somewhat...strange. It was as if a power inside of him was growing, almost dormant for his entire life, like it wanted to break free. If anyone was strong enough...they probably would have sensed his chakra. Specifically, any Jinchuuriki's would have felt it. He sighed out, holding his stomach, and continued to walk further from Konoha into the forest near a river, which he liked to relax nearby. Sitting down at the riverside was always calming to him.

Taking out a fishing rod, he went on to see if he could find a catch. It was a common hobby of his that he enjoyed more than anything else. If there was something that you wanted to impress Kota with, it had to be fishing or nothing.

A lot happened in such a short span especially Hokage leaving all of a sudden but something irks her that it gave Ria the feeling of something bad occurred during the course of their training, she knew all along there were people watching yet didn't do something about it, thinking that their just civilians and as of now the village might be in danger, Ria can't have that, her beloved village about to be in chaos. Instructions was to go to HQ, Ria have yet to check out what's going on and, "Aiko, stay close to me alright, we're gonna look for Kota." She shows a motherly smile but beneath was a worried and nervous feeling building up from her. "Yukihira!. I want you to keep an eye on Kota once we get there, take this with you and these two butterfly clones of me." Ria ordered her summoning to fly over and check on Kota in case anything goes wrong, Ria has a bad feeling about what's about to happen. "Let's go Aiko!."

At the ANBU HQ, Ria clone number 1 arrive and it was not a surprising view that there was an intruder all along. Now the real Ria is in a weakened state, shifting the scene back to Aiko and Ria, 'Putting the designated amount of chakra to those butterfly clones sure have restricted me for using my abilities to the fullest, I can't even use the Azure at its full power since I gave 25% of my chakra each to those clones and now I'm at 50%. I should avoid using too much ninjutsu when a fight comes." Ria thought.

Ria clone number 2 landed in one of the buildings, suddenly petals of sakura flowers appeared before the missing nin and a feminine cool voice is heard, "Long time no see, Kai." Ria appeared along with the sakura flowers.

~Kii~

"No Ryou...This is worse! If Taiho were a Zombie...I'd probably lock him in a room with his parents then I'd let him shrivel up and die as a zombie!" Kii spat, enraged. There was no way that he'd feed his brains to a dirty, no-good traitor. Kii looked around, aiming for the nearest window. There wasn't one very far off. Kii was about to dart for it when a kunai was thrown in his path with a sizzling red tag attatched to it. Kii instintevly jumped back just as the resounding explosion erupted.

Kii landed with an agile backflip before, surprised yet again, he looked over at the one who threw that kunai.
It was Taiho.

"I said...I'm not going to let you do any harm to Konoha, Kii."
"You are...A ninja?! You are a no good liar! You are the worst sort of bastard!" Kii roared.
"I had to lie...I'm Intelligence. There was no way that I could tell you anything about me. I joined Konoha and-"
"You sold out! You gave away Iwagakure secrets! You...I can't forgive you. There's no way that I'm going to let you live after this-" With that, Kii rushed forward. There was no way that he was in a mood to consider anything Ryou had to say. There would be no compromise or any moment to talk this through. There wouldn't be a peaceful resolution.

"Ryou! Hurry and find Shira! I'm counting on you!" Kii would say as he was headed towards Taiho, whom was performing ninja seals upon Kii's approach.
Taiho was a Chuunin ranked ninja, thus he had a lot more training than Kii, however Taiho didn't know about Kii's special, powerful Kekkei Genkai and it would be that weapon that would keep the higher ranked ninja somewhat on his toes. Kii would win. He was absolutely certain. But what Taiho was trying to do was buy time. Time for Shira to get further away and for reinforcements to get here faster.

This needed to be handled quickly, however, should it go bad, there wasn't any reason they both needed to be caught.
Even if Shira couldn't be saved and Kii would be caught...Ryou could still get away. For Kii that was more than enough in this dire situation.

"Hurry!" Kii would exclaim as he went in for a quick punch for Taiho, which he easily dodged. Taiho, a spark of flame around his own fist, sent a flaming fist towards Kii, whom easily ducked the punch and backflipped to almost kick Taiho in the face, which he tilted his head back and leaned backwards to avoid. It would be a close fight, but there was no point in Ryou watching. Ryou needed to go and find Shira!

Hatsu rolled his eyes at what Isai was saying "You're awfully full of yourself aren't you" He was tired of other shinobs just as snobby as the young one before him. He wanted to pummel Isai's face in but knew things would only get worse for him if he attempted to do it. "Do whatever you want, who knows whats going on in that loony head of yours. I don't care" Hatsu then heard a voice speak behind him. It was much more different compared to the other shinobis and not only that but he didn't feel a presence at all. This was a high ranked jonin. He turned around to face him, as the mysterious jonin spoke to the young kid. Although, it did bring delight to his ears that there was a chance for Isai dying, he still didn't like that jonin nor the Raikage. Savages. All of them.

The shinobi then spoke to him, spouting nonsense about the jonins being there for his own good. Instead of sending shinobis to watch him, why not lend shinobis to assist him. "No reason to beat around the bush. I know they watch me so I won't escape. This place is practically a prison for me" Thats right, he isn't here to make friends. Comrades. He's only here to get stronger, gain the power of the beast that dwelled within him. However, the mission did peak his interest. It had been a while since he had been on a mission "I'm up for it, what exactly are we gonna be doing?"

Tesla looked downwards as her bird flew right above the center of the village. She wanted to know if the Hokage's words were true. Did they actually capture the Seven Tails and did the Hokage have full intent on performing a public extraction? "If things go bad. then their cover is not the only thing that's about to be blown. Nevermind the witch hunt that might be happening below, this might just be the final straw that ignites the war." The samurai noted. "I just can't stand by and watch that child get killed like that, so you might want to get off before things get ugly." Tesla warned the man, moving a safe distance away from the future fight, while also molding more clay for the upcoming battle. After reaching a safe distance, the clay bird descended low enough for the man to jump off without injuring himself. She didn't care about a lot of things, but public children executions was one of the things she was against. Still, it would be hard to handle the Kage in a one on one fight, making it highly improbable for her to handle him along with his additional assistance.

Atlas
Surely enough time would have passed and all the kages would be at the summit, at least that's what Atlas hoped otherwise his entrance would be slightly less spectacular however that was the thing with all the Raikage, they all had a flair for showmanship as well as being brash and a bit hot headed. Although the real reason he wasn't there yet was too stall, put quite simply Atlas needed to stall for a bit more time, all the preparations he was organising in the background all required sufficient time, otherwise he would be put at a serious disadvantage. Now if everything went well the only thing he would need would be 3 trust worthy shinobi by his side, the rest considered as fodder.

"Let's get this show on the road" Atlas said while running with shining blue electricity around him, he blurred closer and closer to the summit. Using high chakra levels to be able to sense the Kage, one does not have to be a proficient sensor to sense a Kage unless they are trying to hide their chakra all it took was one that didn't hide theirs actively. His chakra flared for a moment and the lightning around him turned black, his speed doubled. Leaping off the ground his built up speed carried him through the air as he led with his right fist in front of him currently housing his brass knuckle. Now he was standing there grinning, a Raikage size hole through the wall behind him and the other Kage's in front of him. 'This is going to be a good meeting"

"Yo"

Marashi looked at the drainage that entered the summit. "Great now the brute is here, so I assume we cab get started." It might have been a surprise to the raikage seeing as Marashi's chairs couldn't be sensed. The reasons were unknown to them but Marashi didn't plan on revealing anything just yet. "I'm here because I was sent by the hokage. He has more important things to attend to so I'm here in his place. Note that I'm not authorized to make decisions regarding the republic but I'm here to discuss you hostile intentions."

Sharaiyu wasn't sure what was going on. He looked as everyone seemed to be in a rush of some sort. "Today is already crazy now isn't it." Sharaiyu wasn't sure of what happened but he brushed it aside as he walked. "I'm gonna head to the clinic. They might have a few injured people and no extra hands." He said to himself as he left the training grounds.

~Isai Kyouko~

"So, what yer telling me is..." Isai would say, holding up a finger for emphasis, "That the Raikage said I was amazing and full of potential, but he'll make me a Missing ninja? I knew he was retarded!" Isai would say, shaking his head disapprovingly. As if he were talking about some novice, rambunctious kid that was going out doing things without thinking. Then again..That was what the Raikage was in Isai's opinion. "How 'bout this," Isai said, feeling generous, "I'll get one of my servants to clean up the office and I'll totally forgive yer stupidity if ya give me the details on the mission," Isai would say, crossing his arms and tilting his chin up at the older, higher ranked ninja.

"That's the best yer gonna get," Isai promised, completely unafraid of the consequences. Had he been worried about being punished he wouldn't have done it in the first place, now would he? There was nothing the Raikage or this ANBU slave could do that would honestly intimidate the bold little Genin. Missing ninja? He'd just go join Konoha then. His goal was to take over Kumogakure and become the next Raikage...Was there some confusion around that honestly made them think that he cared about being a ninja here? Killing the Raikage, enforcing the will of his clan, then gaining the favor, likely by means of torture and coercion, the favor of the Cloud politicians in order to cement his position as the ultimate ruler of Kumogakure. Was the Raikage going to risk someone with so much potential joining the Leaf village, being trained to hate the Republic, then declaring war with the clan knowledge that Isai had? Was the Raikage really that arrogant that he'd throw away useful weapons thinking that he didn't need them? Just like with the mouse and the lion, the Raikage wouldn't be Raikage if he thought so little of his followers, did he? If he thought he could just kill anyone that made him angry then he wouldn't be really missed the moment Isai killed him off and replaced him in the next few years.

Besides, it'd look weak on the Raikage's side if he was so unable to control a Genin that he just kicked him out. What kinda of Raikage kicked kids out and hunted them down with ANBU ninja? What would all the ordinary citizens say about such barbaric behavior? Kind of pathetic of a Raikage to even suggest such an action seriously. Isai wasn't surprised though. The only one suited to be Raikage was himself. Anyone and everyone else were just unbelievable unable to maintain their positions and utilize their power in the right way. This Raikage had already shown that he was so completely unable to control the ninja under him he was practically asking for a revolt. He could kick everyone that challenged him out of the village and they'd all come back stronger and in larger numbers and destroy him.

"I ain't gonna cry over the Raikage. If he makes me a Missing Ninja it won't change anything. I'm still going to be his successor; kickin' me out ain't gonna stop me from being the next Raikage," Cocky. So unbelievably cocky. Not only did he think the Raikage was less of a man than he was, as a 13 year old kid, but he would one day be a ninja 1000x times stronger and more amazing. Whether he was here in the village, he'd end up in the same place. He could do it by destroying the village from the Republic or by working for the village, as a Kumo-nin, working for the current Raikage until the time in which he would challenge him for the title. It was completely up to the Raikage and hopefully he had the insight to realize those were the two options he'd made for himself.

"Long time no see, Kai."

Kai casually turned around and shook his head.

"Ria Uchiha. It's been awhile. Tell me, how have you been? Had any families killed recently?" He asked sarcastically as he thought of his next move. He knew that Ria was an S-rank ninja so he wouldn't stand much of a chance in a fight but it was possible he could think his way out of this.

Kii... just... Ryou sighed. Sometimes, Ryou was convinced Kii could beat even Shira with his level of impulsiveness. They needed to escape together. Fighting Taiho was completely useless to the mission as a whole. They were here to spy- nothing less, noting more. But now Shira was captured and they should be focusing more on finding her than doing something rash like wasting their time with Taiho as possible reinforcements were on their way.

Slowly, Ryou pulled himself into a standing position. He stumbled a little bit to the right, but eventually found some sense of balance. "Stop being such a... a..." What was the word? Zombies and brains were easy-to-find words while being poisoned; this word was definitely something a level higher than genin. Ryou paused, definitely too out of it to really determine how much crap he'd be in if he just kept standing there. "Martyr!" He shouted, completely in awe he could remember it. "Stop being a martyr." He pouted, flailing his water-y arms. "What am I suppose to do when I find her? Wobble around like a zombie?" Because there was no way Kii could be under the impression that someone he'd just blasted through a wall to wake up could do such an extreme rescue mission. Did Kii want him to runaway? Did Kii even think that Ryou could possibly bring himself to safety while his friends were... Well, Ryou didn't want to think about it. If they were going to save Shira, they'd have to do so together.

Running, far from gracefully, Ryou headed towards Kii. "Kii!" Ryou shouted, hoping Kii would get the message and haul butt out of the way. Taiho used fire, so Kii mixing explosions with fire probably wouldn't be the best. Focus, focus. Water balloons. Focus. He thought to himself as his hand came together to form some sloppy signs. This might have looked slightly cooler if Ryou wasn't a stumbling, mess. A pool of water spread out from Ryou's feet and around five water balloons floated into the air. The balloons launched themselves at Taiho. They wouldn't be enough to break any bones, but they'd definitely bruise if he was hit.

"Run!" Ryou shouted at Kii. Because, if the balloons did their jobs as a nice distraction, they'd be able to both ditch Taiho and find Shira together.

Yuuto heard Tesla's suggestion to get off and simply shook his head. "Thanks for the warning, but I'm not the type to let a child die in front of my eyes either." he said even as the bird moved away from the centre. Despite his selfless and courageous declaration, he knew that his current adversaries would be the Hokage in the middle of the leaf village. One rash move and the entire village ninja army would be on him.

"You got a plan?" he asked Tesla, wondering what her abilities were. She had shown him this clay bird, after all, although he did wonder why not a single ninja came up to investigate this giant obvious flying bird.

Maiko was waiting for Seranai's response, but then he saw that they were running out of time and had to act fast. so he ran towards the village center and yelled behind him at the other Jinchuuriki, "just follow my lead!"

but before he made a move, he saw that Kai was on a roof top with a dark haired woman who looked like she was a member of the Uchiha clan. that wouldn't be good if she was and ether way it meant that Kai had been discovered as well by a leaf shinobi. what could Maiko do? ether he made a suicidal attempt at taking on the Hokage and his Anbu ninja, or he could help Kai and with the three of them together that is if Seranai fights as well, they could defeat her and if there was still time they could rescue the captured Jinchuuriki. he decided to help his comrade and leaped onto the tops of building heading straight for Kai and Ria. he moved in quickly and had his Bo staff filled with his chakra and ready to strike the Uchiha. he hoped he had made the right choice as he closed in on the Konoha ninja and he preyed that Seranai would help them fight her.

Seranai didn't have a chance to answer as everything seemed to be moving so fast, when Maiko yelled for her to follow his lead, she went after him and jumped up on the roof as well, standing on the other side of Kai. A wall of solitude as she decided that she would help and try not to get in the way, the Uchiha were known for their fire style Jutsu and she knew barely any of it. We will fight, I shall manage a way to help Kokuó said in her mind but he seemed reluctant to help. She wondered why but attempted to look intimidating as she crossed her arms over her chest in a defiant manner as she glared at the women they were facing off against.

"I will help" Seranai told Maiko as she squared her shoulders, attempting to act intimidating although she didn't feel like she was even close to being intimidating. She was just a small girl with no real training.

Oda Uchiha
"Hey change of plans, I sense a sudden increase in chakra on this kid... go to Kota's location and find out the source to his power... fight him if you must!" He ordered the ANBU surrounding him. The ANBU that were surrounding Oda left him Oda put Shira on his back as he got closer to the opened site in the center of Konoha.

The ANBU quickly headed towards Kota and all looked at him. "We, by request from the Hokage, must know why you have such an immense chakra serge. Even if it means we have to beat it out of you..." One ANBU nin had said. Another came in. "But he didn't quite tell us to-" He was inturrupted by the other ANBU. "We do anything by the means of having an objective cleared, so if beating him is the only way to know, then we shall..."he said. They all stared Kota down waiting for an answer or for him to fight back.

Shira Aburame
As Shira was being carried off, her insects finally woke up. Chomei realized this and had communicated with the bugs. "I need you all to go back to the wwarehouse and spell the message that she is going to wake soon and that the ANBU have left Oda for the 2-tails." She asked Shira's bugs. One by one, the bugs flew towards the warehouse and when they get there, they wouldgive signs that Shira was recovering but still needs their help. Once enough have gathered they literally spelled the message that the ANBU have left Oda and Shira needs help. Once they had read the message they would immediately disperse that is however if no one gets to the bugs first.
