Um... Enchanted warrior, kind of based on tokusatsu shows a little... I've had the idea since I posted in the interest check too. >.<

Well, Excalibur, the one we have right now is basically a super-strong warrior powered by the sword of the same name, basically a figure out of Arthurian legend. Check out his sheet and if your idea is unique and different enough from him in capabilities and background then go for it.

Looking at it, the only real similarities between Excalibur and my idea are that they both have magic swords and an armoured form, although mine is more than capable of fighting unarmoured and usually saves that for any tougher enemies she might face. The main gist of the ideas I had were that she was a legacy hero (there have been several like her in the past, and she is only the latest to take on the title and responsibilities she bears), her major motif was Lovecraftian stuff and... I guess she was veering a little bit towards being something of a cross between Dr. Strange (only less powerful and with more defined limits to her powers and abilities; this was also part of the reason I wanted to go with the library idea) and the hero of a Japanese live-action show called Garo.

I really did like this idea and I really hope I can work it out. It's just taking me a little while because I like to take my time writing up characters to ensure I get the best possible results, I guess. ^^;

I like the sound of it and I'd like to see it put down on the thread. I would also like to see some ranged abilities. But take all the time you need, I'm not trying to rush anyone. Quality takes time after all.

I do have to point out that we're getting a lot of magic-types here, so I'm going to ask people who haven't already discussed it with me to come up with other ideas. We have a dearth of Metahumans right now, who are supposed to be far more common than every other type of hero.

My character is a metahuman, actually. ^^; Personal Gravity control so she can do things like run on walls or alter how hard she hits when she falls and stuff. It's just the gauntlets are her actual weapon.

Also her name is Blast Girl now, though she needs a real name and all. ^^;

It wasn't directed at you Vita, I simply know of many players who have Supernatural ideas. I do like that idea, it sounds creative. But you could just have her be an outright gravity controller so that we could have more versatility in the group. The gauntlets could be a back-up weapon. A gravity-based name would be appropriate as well. But those are just suggestions.

I honestly think full Gravity Control is waay too easy to abuse even if you're not trying to. ^^;

... Also kind of already drew up a basic idea for the gauntlets. ^^; Hopefully with all the interested people there will be more versatility.

Perhaps, but even with imposed energy restrictions it can lead to a lot of creative scenarios. Still, your choice.

I'm working on my character now, just finished writing up the powers but I don't know if I'm satisfied with them or if they're too much. I'm gonna continue working on it but if you have the time and read over it, I'd appreciate your thoughts but its not rush. The CS isn't anywhere near done.

Do I HAVE to immediately be a part of the team. I was thinking I could be my my own man for a while until someone in the league sets my stupid head straight.

Thinking about joining in with a character who is a villain turned hero. She'd have an origin similar to Captain America, being injected with an experimental "super soldier" serum and gaining powers from it, which may or may not include semi immortality (doesn't age) and/or regeneration (killed with sufficient brain damage or decapitation).

You could start off as outside the League but at this moment in time you would eventually have to join in order to keep the RP focused. Eventually we'll get to have people play more rogue elements, even villains.

I like the idea of a reformed villain, but I'm not entirely sure about a super-serum based hero. We seem to have a lot of melee-focused people at the moment.

My thinking is it could be possible for her to be the (former) arch-enemy of a one or two members of the League. Or perhaps later in the game I could turn her back into a villain (especially if work causes me to be unable to post on a regular basis).

Because of my work schedule it may take a couple of days for me to come up with complete character. But, my current thought is to give her a psychic-based power as well so she doesn't always have to get physical with her enemies. Or some type as ranged attack power.

I think it'd be interesting to have her be Zenith's former arch-enemy. I'm not having players roleplay villains right at this time but it is something that would be possible later in the series. Or you could have her go full on NPC villain if you really don't have the time. I like the idea of a psychic character in addition to a Super-Serum. Perhaps a government experiment that went horribly right? It's an interesting concept in any case.

Also four accepted characters! We're in good shape.

I have been giving a little thought to what kind of villains Blast Girl could have, but I'm not coming up with anything clear yet. ^^;

You could have you character have Arch-Enemies and I'll use them, but a lot of the threats the team will face are new threats so keep that in mind.

I plan on making a character too. :)

Just so many possibilities (although I'm juggling between two). I'll have my sheet up soon when I'm not busy with work. ^^
